"Indian and pan-Asian cooking are the focus of this elegant Kingston refuge. The team in the kitchen, which hails from Mumbai, prepares a varied lineup of traditional Indian curries and juicy tandoor specialties, each artfully presented. The restaurant is one of a trio of venues run by restaurateur Jaya Chatani (along with Masala Wok and Nirvana Global), who is deftly helping to diversify the island’s culinary scene." - Leisha Wong

I did not enjoy my dining experience at this restaurant. My gf and I went around 8pm, but they had a huge party reservation so seating inside was full. We sat on the outside which was absolutely fine, because the Christmas breeze was splendid. Service was slow and it took forever for our orders to be taken. We had a group seated beside us that was gambling and being Hella loud, so I could hardly hear my date. The food came out around 15 minutes after ordering, the juice came after the food. We ordered lollipop chicken as an appetizer, but it came out with the main course. The lollipop chicken was burnt and the sauce gave nothing. I ordered salmon and it was just ok. My gf ordered the mutton that they said was cooking for 8 hours, which was obviously a lie, the mutton was raw and had absolutely no flavour, she ended up taking it home for the stray cats. The cheese roti was absolutely delicious though. The second set of drinks took forever to come out, we had to keep calling different waiters and reminding them. The bill came to 20+k and I still left hungry. I was just disappointed. Don't think I'll ever go back. The servers were pleasant and kept apologising but I don't think I'll ever go back.

Ordered take out- Singapore chicken, tandoori shrimp, garlic cheese nan, and a drink. Bill $9,900+, we only got EIGHT (8) shrimp in the serving which cost $4,500. I don’t mind paying for good food BUT ATLEAST GIVE YOUR CUSTOMER PROPER SERVINGS. THAT WAS NOT WORTH IT. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and they said that’s what they serve, 8 shrimp ( not even jumbo). Please do right by your customers.

Food was amazing, chill music, staff were kind and attentive. Strongly recommend to stop by if you’re in Kingston, across from CPJ.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Darbar by Nirvana, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that immediately made us feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our meal was nothing short of perfect. Food was absolutely incredible! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and creative presentation. The Tandoori Chicken was cooked to perfection, and the stuffed potato was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

Great place to chill and eat. Not too big. We forgot to make reservations but was lucky to get a seat for four when we came. If you're into trying new foods you can come here. If you're motto is eat what you know, it's probably not for you. The choices were interesting and exciting. The service was great. The bathrooms were clean. So, though the food choices were interesting, can't say it tasted the best. I just pick and chose my way through. But it was a nice change. They have mostly Indian foods with some Chinese options.

Everything about the place was 10/10. From the moment my friend and I stepped in it was nothing but niceness. The decor is beautiful, the several are polite and the food is just.. muah...chef's kiss💋 Bombay gave me my first good tasting shrimp. Dont even hesitate about going.

Good food, beautiful decor, excellent customer service. Prices lean towards the more expensive side. The place itself is small so you can have intimate dining here. You order your dishes (protein, starch, vegetables) separately so bare that in mind. Portions are a bit small for me. The seasoning is different from Jamaican cousine but definitely not bad! Don't order curry and expect the a Jamaican curry. Recommendation: The shrimp noodles dish (don't remember the correct name) Delicious!
