As a solo traveler, I absolutely fell in love with this beach. It’s stunning—fine white sand, silky smooth water, and a charming little island right in front that adds to the breathtaking scenery. Even though the beach gets crowded, I found it surprisingly easy to navigate and enjoy. The central area is free to access, and there are a couple of bazaars selling umbrellas and other essentials. On the left side (facing the islet), there’s a municipal beach where I rented an umbrella and sunbed for just 2.5 euros for the entire day. I arrived around 9 AM and managed to snag a front-row spot, but there were plenty of umbrellas available even later in the day.
Parking was convenient and free, right in front of the beach, except for a small fee area belonging to a hotel. On the left side, I noticed hotel umbrellas available for rent, though I didn’t check the price. The beach has a lively vibe, with a few bars scattered along the shore. One of them started playing music and hosting DJ sets around 5 PM, and I stumbled upon a foam party one afternoon, which was a fun surprise.
A short walk from the parking lot, I discovered a Zorbas cafeteria bakery, perfect for grabbing sandwiches and snacks at reasonable prices. In front of the islet, there’s also an area for water sports if you’re feeling adventurous. What I loved most, though, was the path that continued along the rocks on both sides of the beach. It’s well-paved and leads to a series of other beaches, making for a peaceful and scenic solo walk. This place truly has everything—relaxation, beauty, and a bit of excitement when you want it.
