The 9 Best Restaurants In Cannes - Cannes - The Infatuation

"If you don’t have time for the hour-and-a-half train ride to Italy, just head to Nivà Gelateria instead. The long lines at this Turin import’s Centre Ville ice cream shop attest to how good it is (there’s a second outpost around the corner, so you can walk by both to scope the wait time). Indeed most gelatos would taste great on a radiant day in the South of France, but Nivà takes its creamy concoctions to the next level, mixing milk from the Italian Alps, hazelnuts from Piedmont, and seasonal fruits. The result is refreshing and unusual flavors like bright bergamot and velvety fig and ricotta. And though Cannes is about 1,000 miles from Palermo, we have to admit their silky gelato-stuffed brioche sandwich, a Sicily original, is a delicious use of A+ French bread." - sophie friedman, michael sinatra

Very delicious. The staff was very kind and polite so don't understand the negative comments here. Also the portions are big enough so didn't understand why people are commenting that the portions are too small. Liked the place and the fact that you can make an order using self-service and then go to the staff to choose the flavours. Will definitely visit again and would definitely recommend to go here

Good gelato however is not that “creamy” as they story tell you with the “Cremeria” marketing line. Also is THE most expensive gelato I had in Turin! They have the smallest cups, so as an alternative, this time (I’ve been here many times before) I tried the larger option which is weighed: it costed me €8.50 for an amount which is similar to their “larger” cup at €5.50! So I wouldn’t go for that option again. Another down point is that the variety of flavours lacks, as they only have 1 flavour with nuts pieces in it, which by the way - hardly had any pieces at all!! So overall bit disappointing really, but I guess they have one of the best shops locations being right in the largest movida piazza of Turin.

Tried several of the recommended Gelato places and this one was really really good. Hazelnut and coco. Texture was fantastic.

Niva Gelato impresses with its commitment to top-tier, natural ingredients, promising an array of delightful flavours in an equally enchanting setting. The shop itself is a visual feast, reflecting the sophistication of its offerings. However, the dark chocolate fondant fell short of my expectations. While the texture was smooth, the cocoa intensity was muted, covered by an overt sweetness reminiscent of Smarties. Despite this, the dedication to quality and the artisanal approach in crafting their gelato is admirable. The slight miss in flavour balance hasn't overshadowed the overall quality, but it has muted my enthusiasm for a return.

a bit expensive, scoops are too small even by choosing a bigger cone.. black sesame flavour is interesting 🤔

I think I've never savoured my ice cream as much as I did here. It's great that the gelato is not too sweet and full of authentic flavours. Kind service and you can pay by card here.

From "best ice cream in the world" to " extremely disappointed". A small ice cream for 3.5 euros and this is how it looks. Very sad. I understand the price increase and I am willing to pay as soon as the portion is not reduced in quantity. Its such a pity because I love your ice cream but it js so incovinient. Another time I took the medium sized ice cream for 4.5 thinking they would put me more. But no it was same as the small one I just paid 1 euro more. I will provide a picture of what a small portion of 3 euros gets you to Gelatira La Romana. And also very good quality ice cream. But worth the price.

Great variety of vegan flavors, king size cups, very nice staff.
