Ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday and told them make the base of the cake to be light purple and the cake should be chocolate and vanilla both. They made the cake just vanilla and had the base color mint green. By the time I got home the cream my melted.

Excellent little pastry / wedding cake shop. Owner is very nice and his staff is all family. I had a custom wedding cake made and not only did it come out looking and tasting amazing, his price to make it was a lot less than the pastry shops in the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this place for wedding cakes or if you just have a sweet tooth.

Very nice patisserie in Dearborn serving Lebanese cakes and desserts. They have baklava and syrup dipped desserts filled with ashta. The best things here are the cookies, cheesecake and finally an amazing cake called babaroom that’s creme filled and dipped in syrup. Get your sugar cravings here .

I ordered a birthday cake and told the guy how exactly I want the cake to be. The guy I spoke to told be to send him details on whatsapp and I did. I ordered the cake with vanilla filling and nuts inside and he said okay. Also I called after few hours to confirm everything and to make sure he got what I want. When I picked up the cake I found out that he did not write happy birthday note which he told he will write it on the cake board when we asked him he said there was no space to put it. In addition to that he did not put nuts inside the cake.

Full circle. 29 years ago the owner of this pastry shop made our engagement cake and last week he made our daughter's too. It was so fresh, light and airy. Everyone loved it. Quality and pride in workmanship still shines at this business. This is why i brought my daughter back. Thank you Nizam Pastry for the memories

I'm a big fan of maamoul with date filling so I tried several of nizam's date filled sweets. I was really disappointed with the taste of the dates. Filling was dry. The outer flour portion was really good. Just the filling tasted bad. We had a few other pastries that were really good. Service was very kind. And store was very clean. I'd visit again, just wouldn't get products with date filling in it.

Good food but the cheesecake was really hard but tasted good and one time we got a pastry and it had a peace of Velcro in the and really rude people really cold in there in the summer.

This place has ROTTEN cheesecake. The owner is rude and unreceptive to any type of criticism even when he's wrong for pocketing money that doesn't belong to him when his ROTTED products were shown and returned. This place HAD good products for a min but it's the type of business that gets lazy after a little traffic. LAST time I ever enter that place. zero respect or regard for customer service. it's not about the cash it's the concept and this is supposedly a whole business. I do not recommend this place. ZERO stars. ESPECIALLY during this month of Ramadan. What a shame

This place has to be top 3 sweets shop in Dearborn. In my opinion they have the best tasting backlava for the best prices. Sure they don't have as much as a selection as the other big places in Dearborn, but they do have the best tasting! I can't attest to their cakes since I've never tried those but backlava and finger snacks are prime in this location. I will continue to get a box from them for myself, family or any event. Only wish they had more selection/variety ughh.

If you're in Dearborn you have many options for dessert. Nizam hAs a lot of the local date available such as baklava, cookies , cakes and a variety of fresh made creamy and flaky Lebanese style sweets. They are all good, however, the reason I keep coming back here is none other than a European inspired cake called babaroom. This is inspired by a rum cake, however, it has no rum, just a juicy syrup and creme/custard filling that is to die for. It has a lot of calories, but they are worth it. One of my top desserts in Dearborn.

My wedding cake was from here, 4 tier buttercream, not only did the cake look absolutely GORGEOUS but the taste and moisture of the cake exceeded my expectations. The owner/baker was extremely kind and professional. The piping he did was very impressive

Nizam Bakery on Schaefer gets 100 stars from me. I been going there for 4 years and they have not lost one ounce of quality in their delicious sweets and customer service. I bought friends mixed Baklawa trays for Christmas and all of them loved them and told me that it tastes better than the ones from Shatilla. I usually by my holiday trays from Shatilla but went with Nizam this year and everyone raved about how delicious Nizams baklawa are. Most important, always outstanding customer service and they never forget a returning customer. I moved away from the area . Nizam use to be around the corner from me. However, I will always and happilyvmske the trek for their great taste, quality and customer service.

My new favorite Dearborn bakery. The cake slices are wonderful, fresh, moist, well balanced, great flavors, and ridiculously under-priced. The baklava beautifully crisp, well filled, fresh nut and butter flavors, yum! Came in here by accident, will come many times on purpose.

Amazing pastries, cakes and sweets. Friendly staff, great prices. If you're in Dearborn and have a sweet tooth, you need to stop by Nizam and get some sweets. Hands down the best in town.

My husband ordered two cakes for their office.. And he brought some at home... It tasted really good and the sweetness was not overpowering. We also picked up another order today and by the look of it, it looks amazing. The girl behind the counter was friendly. I think people should start going to this one instead of sharia because this is not overcrowded and has a personal touch. And the pastries were on sale.. 12 for 12 dollars.. Who misses that???

Dearborn has a lot of pastry and sweet shops but this one stands out as THE BEST. Check them out you will be happy you did

My sister stopped in to grab some dessert after seeing this new place while driving. Picked up some macaroons and wow, I was impressed! I have had so many different kinds of macaroons and the look and texture is just as big a hit or miss as the flavor. This flavor was amazing and everything about it was delicious! Recommend!

Horrible, horrible experience. I talked to one of the guys in regards to my engagement cake and showed him a cake on their actual instagram page I didn't want anything extravagant so I purposely chose something they've done before. Of course he charged me an arm and a leg and dismissed me when I brought up details and kept saying he knew what I wanted and not to worry about it. He sounded so sure of himself I was like ok. On the engagement day, my friend picked up the cake it literally looked like a kid had made it and was completely different than what I wanted. It had fake plastic flowers on it but of course he charged me for real flowers. I never went back to complain even though I was embarrassed by my cake. I went back recently and got a few pieces of cakes and literally not less than 24 hours their mini chocolate cakes tasted like sour milk. This is what I was serving to company and got lucky enough to taste it. The lady in the front didn't speak English and gave me a box full of oil prints, she kept looking at it with hesitancy but proceeded to give it to me. I am so bothered that this happened to me again as I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt.
