Google
NN Thai Street Food is located at East Bay Eats ghost kitchen in Downtown Hayward. They're 2 weeks new and offer wonderful Thai Street Food. Unfortunately, you won't find noodle dishes or curries but plenty of grilled, braised, poached/steamed proteins over rice. Simple Asian comfort food. Visited twice already! Plenty of appetizer, mains, drinks to choose from and will definitely be back.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've written a review on Yelp but their Khao Mun Gai and Butterfly Pea Milk Tea was bomb! I had it DoorDashed to me - drink was still cold (ice not all melted) and soup was hot. The ginger sauce though in this meal was hitting authentic notes! I could probably have had two more of these to pour on the chicken. I'm definitely ordering again! Thanks for serving a dish that doesn't get as much "popularity" as the Pad Thai and making it one of your star dishes! This was one of my favorite dishes my grandma would make for me and I'm feeling so comforted by it!

Yelp
Did an order through delivery recently and wow was this place delish! I will likely go in to the restaurant to get a full experience some day soon!! Food ordered: 1. Steamed chicken with ginger rice, soooo good! The rice had so much flavor, chicken was tender and that ginger sauce I could put that on a salad for dressing 2. Papaya Salad: I wasnt a fan of the container being filled with half lettuce, felt like the papaya portion was small, BUT the flavors were on point. 3. Crispy Pork: Unfortunately not a dish that travels well but the flavor was on point. Sweet and salty. 4. Thai Iced Tea: a little TOO sweet, had to let the ice melt for it to be the right balance on the sugar, but after that it was fine 5. Veggie Gyoza: I wanted to love these, but I was missing having a meat version. So so, probably wouldnt order again. All in all a good meal!

Yelp
The food was just ok, but I had better Thai food at Khao Hom. For the price I had paid about $70, I should of gone o Khao Hom. I dislike the food pick up from East Bay Eats. This was my first time ordering from East Bay Eats and there was no one available for food pick up. The person behind the count seems to be on break with a friend, talking about personal friend experiences. I had to call the place I had order to bring out my food. I most likely won't order anything from East Bay Eats again.

Yelp
Updating my review (last visit a week ago) for the customer service and having tried a few other items like the grilled chicken salad and pork leg stew. For this rainy weather pork leg stew is pure Asian comfort food. Both items are yummy options with the Thai pork leg stew (Khao kha mu) being sweet and savory with a variety of textures from the pork (gelatinous skin), tender meat along with other elements in this dish. NN Thai's version was good and reminded me of the Chinese-style of pickled pigs feet with sweet, dark vinegar. The side of pickled mustard greens, Chinese broccoli, steamed rice, boiled egg and side of garlic, chili vinegar helped to cut thru the sweetness as I'm usually not a fan of more sweet in my savory dishes. Just a preference For a ghost kitchen, it's a rarity a business interacts with the customer but the 2 owners/chef went above and beyond. There was a minor issue (system issues) with my order which to be honest didn't have much thought. The owner went out of her way and met with me to apologize for the delay, explained they're working out the kinks and offered a complimentary beverage which was not expected. A super sweet gesture and great customer service. Thank you! BTW the drinks were amazing! NN Thai Street Food is 2 weeks new to East Bay Eats ghost kitchen so be patient as the food is worth a visit!

Yelp
Needed a quick meal and decided to try this spot and omg the food is so good! We ordered the steamed chicken w rice and came w a sauce and chicken broth and it was the most comforting food. We also got the sticky mango rice which was equally delicious - perfectly cooked rice. Would try their other menu items next time!

Yelp
Back to the Bay Area to visit and got some takeout from NN Thai. My dish was the special Khao Moo Combo and omg it was so good! The pork meat was so tender and flavorful. The rice and even the soup tasted good! My friend had Khao Man Gai and she loved it. The sauce that came with the chicken rice was unbelievable. I'll have to order it again before I leave and will try some other dishes they have, too. I think everyone who lives in the area should try their food.

Yelp
Khao Kha Moo at NN Thai street food at its good and this version did not disappoint. The pork leg was braised to perfection which tender and juicy. A side of pickled mustard greens and a hard-boiled egg balanced the richness, while the spicy chili-vinegar sauce added just the right kick.

Yelp
Ordered a tofu noodle dish, boom, found caterpillar in the food. a BUG . Went inside and the owner refused to give a refund, mentioned that he buys the produce organic like that makes sense? The salad leaves should be washed regardless. The owner started begging for us to just get 2 boxes of replacement dishes instead of giving us a refund for our food and he did not relent. I would never come back here or recommend this place. The owner has no integrity and I am not satisfied I want my $23 back

Yelp
The best Thai restaurant in this area. I will definitely come back again, especially for the chicken rice.

Yelp
Has potential? Ordered 3 dishes and got mixed feelings on all 3. The classic chicken rice was decent, however the chicken was very dry and seemed like the end pieces. Piecing it together did not resemble any shape of a thigh leg, quarter or cutlet. Suspecting it was pieces scraped enough for a serving. Or picked from a whole chicken. The menu mentioned it was boneless however I still picked out a bone in one of the pieces. The fried chicken had a nice crunch to it flavor was good as well however similar to the regular chicken dish. I can't seem to piece it to a piece that resembles an intact leg, quarter or breast. Lastly the pork combo was a disappointing. Considering this was the most expensive dish, the pork was very very dry, tough and chewy. The roast pork has a nice crunch but there was only 3-4 pieces good out of the entire dish. The soup broth was nice though. A bit salty and oily. The rice was a bit on the mushier side

Yelp
Has always been craving for khao moo deng for awhile now and excited to find this place to try out. Sadly to say, can't be more dissatisfied that what I've experienced. Ordered Khao Mun Gai and Khao Moo Combo and It's probably the worst tasting sauce I've ever experienced. The meat itself is fine, but the flavor is confusing (mix of sour, salty, and sweet). The best part is the broth soup that comes along with the meal. With an hour wait to get my order, I can confidently say I won't be coming back. It's a shame.

Yelp
I was happy to see this restaurant, they serve authentic Thai food that is hard to find at any other Thai Restaurant. My favorite is Khao Moo Dang, I loved the sauce and it comes with a small soup. Papaya salad is a bomb, got to order it every time. Samosa and golden tofu are so delicious, good sauces. Not sure why some people complained about this place. You get a free drink when you spend $50!

Yelp
NN Thai Street Food is a Cloud Kitchen restaurant in East Bay Eats building. I came with my family. There are tables in the building. The atmosphere is simple. Just order food at the kiosk. The taste of the food is very delicious, especially the Thai Chicken Rice ( Khao Mun Gai ), Roasted Red Pork Rice (Khao Moo Dang) , Stewed Pork Leg Rice ( Khao Kaa Moo) . Especially the Crispy Pork Belly Rice ( Khao Moo Krob) which crispy pork belly had crispy skin, soft meat, very delicious. Each sauce is unique to each dish. The taste will not be the same. Try each sauce first and then pour it into each dish. Personally, I poured all the sauces. It was very delicious. There are also many drinks. I like Thai iced tea and butterfly pea milk tea. You can also order online at www.nnthai.com and wait for someone bring them to you at restaurant or order at home, they also have delivery to your home. If you order via the website, it will be cheaper for every item.
