"Fish plays the starring role here, where the authentic traditional flavours and ingredients of Aeolian cuisine are skilfully interpreted with a touch of imaginative flair. If it’s not too hot to sit outside, ask for a table on the pleasant, shaded terrace on the first floor." - Michelin Inspector

I arrived on Salina Island by sailing boat and this was my first time there. The marina costs 270 euros just to park our small boat... Then I happened upon this restaurant on a stroll. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. The owners are very strict about everything. I highly recommend it. The prices are but expensive but are reasonable for a summer resort where they can't make money year-round.

Friendly staff and a very creative menu. We enjoyed all our dishes, very local but elevated entrees and desserts and nice local wine. This restaurant is on the main pedestrian street and does not have water views but had a good vibe.

MIND-BLOWING. Meals like this will stay in my memory forever. We had mullet ceviche with sour cream and it’s just out of this world… and the pasta with barracuda 🥹and the ending is also perfect: lemon granitas 💯

THIS is a world class restaurant. My mom said it was the best pasta she’s had in two trips to Italy. It was absolutely the best meal we had on Salina, likely our whole trip to Sicily. The staff was warm and inviting, and we booked a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night when walking by earlier in the evening. For two people, with one primo, two secondi, one desert and two wines, and spent about £85 and were very well fed. Earlier in our trip, I randomly met one of the chefs, Marco (a very handsome man) while walking one day in San. Marina. He mentioned the restaurant and I couldn’t be happier we went! I was talking with the owners at the end of our evening and when the signora asked me how we heard about the restaurant I told her it was Marco, and she said “Marco? Oh he’a a VERY good chef.” She was right. Our only question is if Marco offers cooking classes? If you visit and miss this restaurant, you have missed the best of Salina. When I return to the island, this will be my first meal.

(We came here on recommendation of the Salina Marina’s management). Rough manners (especially the owner) and underlying sense of entitlement, which is something you may somehow try to understand in Michelin-starred restaurants, not here. On top of everything and reason of our 1-star review, we did not like our dishes (among which, the worst one, swordfish-eggs creamy pasta). Our grilled octopus was chewy and this is inexcusable considering how pretentious and expensive this restaurant wants to appear. In all fairness, people in our group said the Norma pasta they ordered was “perfection” and the broken cannolo was really beautifully presented. (Review written in English. This is possibly one of the best meals that I've ever eaten. Simple dishes, fresh local produce, delicious local wine, and good, friendly service. The only black mark - the coffee machine decided not to play ball. C'est la vie. Swordfish ceviche, the most beautifully cooked squid (totano locale on the menu), caponata, tuna tartare, a rare steak, ravioli, and garfish. Good sized portions, especially my squid, which the knife cut through as though it were soft butter. Absolute heaven and, without doubt, the best squid that I have eaten anywhere. Coupled with local Salina bianco, then followed by gellati (the limone, again, was outstanding). Apologies for not having the primi piatti page, but it was out of focus. Delicious fresh bread served in paper bags, with a tomato/garlic/oregano accompaniment to start, with planty more "pane" turning up throughout the meal without needing to ask. €393 for 7, but worth every cent. Do not miss the opportunity to visit if you ever find yourself in Salina. The multiple Michelin awards stickers tell you all the you need to know.

Excellent meal here on the terrasse. It easily can be missed from the street as the terrasse is upstairs and in the back. Perfect service, and good house wine. We had some antipasto, tuna tartare and eggplant parmigiana. The cannoli with fresh cottage cheese (which is the original recipe of the cannoli) is the best so far we had in Sicilia. The cat of the house will be there to beg you from its delicate eyes.

Yelp
Great taste! Welcoming chef & location. We drive 45 min to get there. The fresh sardines with lemon are incredible. The menue is made on the day. We went for lunch: A choice of 3 main dishes. Starter about 10,-, main 10-12,- Homemade desert. The place is in the guide de Michelin since years. In the summer season you can also sit outside.

Yelp
Everything!!! We had the zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, caper antipasto, mahi fish entree, pilot fish entree, ravioli, eggplant parmesan (amazing) , prickly pear dessert and so much more. Everything was so good and the staff was great! Highly recommend.

Yelp
We walked by early in the day and went in to ask if we needed a reservation for dinner that night. The proprietor took my daughter upstairs to the terrace to select a table. What a lovely spot for dinner! We were surrounded by the scent of jasmine. I had their outstanding pasta alla Norma. The best compliment I could offer -- it was my grandmother's sauce. This restaurant is a must if you are on Salina.
