No 11 Pimlico Road Review - Victoria - London - The Infatuation

"The folks behind 11 Pimlico Road answered a question no-one was really asking, namely, what would happen if you let a Pinterest fanatic loose inside an old pub? To be fair, the result is actually quite lovely, with a vibe that’s a cross between an airy Aussie cafe and, well, a converted pub. It’s a gimme for brunch (get the coconut pancakes), especially when they open the shutters when it’s sunny, and for an Aperol Spritz in the afternoon. Service can be hit and miss and food is hilariously overpriced, but given the address, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise - those interior designers don’t come cheap, after all." - David Paw

We came here for breakfast and coffee and No11 was amazing. The food was all cooked perfectly with the Eggs Benedict tasting exactly how i like them! - the blueberry pancakes however was the highlight of breakfast with a perfect balance of sweet tasting blueberry compot and the light pancakes. The atmosphere was relaxing and service was attentive but not overbearing - all in all a perfect breakfast experience and i will be returning back!

We first visited No11 for Sunday roast and it was better than we excepted, so we went back to try their brunch. Coffee is great, they have nice cocktails and varied menu. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is cozy. Food is not amazing but it’s delicious, fresh and the portions are decent (sometimes too big even).

This is such a cute brunch spot. The food is good but my eggs Benedict wasn’t hot. It was lukewarm. The coffee is incredible and the wifi is fast if you want to work here. The menu is great and the ingredients are fresh. The build your own brioche isn’t great and a bit soggy.

Great hidden gem. Had a lovely bunch there today. Calm and relaxing atmosphere with great food and amazing service. The spacious, relaxing dining area offers some privacy at the table without any intrusion from the nearest table. Light and uplifting interior design together with friendly and attentive staff contibutes to extremely pleasant experence. Highly recommend this place.

This place was by our Airbnb and they had an English breakfast option. Best decision we had made, please stop by here. The mushrooms in the English breakfast were my favorite, don’t know how they are cooked but so flavorful. We decided to come back the next day, had the same and in addition to the eggs benedict with ham. Again very delicious. As a dessert we had the banana ricotta pancakes, perfect to share not overly sweet. The service is top notch, on our second visit they remembered what we had ordered the day before. I wish they place was by my house back home. If I lived n London, this would be my spot. A must stop for breakfast.

Absolutely delicious blue cheese burger! Nice cocktails too. The staff went above and beyond. Toilets are fab as well (I always rate a place on it's toilets and these were clean and classy). Burger didn't come with chips and was quite pricey but if you want quality burger and service, that's what you are paying for. Would recommend!

The ambiance is so pretty and cosy, it’s definitely the best part! Food was also good - fresh ingredients and tasty dishes overall. Service was very friendly and on point, I would definitely come back❤️

No. 11 Pimlico Road is a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant in Pimlico. It’s part of the Darwin & Wallace collection, which also includes Nº29 Power Station West and Nº197 Chiswick fire station. They’ve all got that signature sophisticated and chic, yet welcoming feel. No. 11 Pimlico Road is no different. It was pretty buzzy inside on the Sunday we visited, with families and get togethers over Sunday roasts. It made that lovely local, independent feel radiate even more through the atmosphere. It felt really homely and welcoming, relaxed and cosy. We had a very warm welcome by the team, with the friendly and efficient service continuing through our meal. We started to see why it would be a locals favourite, even before ordering the drinks and food. The drinks menu has an extensive list of white & red wine options, as well as sparkling, rose, pudding wine and port. This is alongside a pretty lengthy cocktail list, which some great autumnal options. The Blood Orange Negroni (£9) was a fabulous twist on the classic. A combination of Beefeater Blood Orange gin, campari & Cocchi di Torino, it’s a very smooth drink, with the orange flavours coming through. The Raspberry Shiso (£11) was pretty light in flavour, but fruity and very refreshing. With fresh raspberries and shiso leaf, FAIR pomegranate liqueur, Tanqueray Export, a dash of aperol & ginger apple sugar, it comes as a tall drink, and is perfect for those with a sweeter tooth. The new Autumn menu at No.11 Pimlico Road has plenty going for it with a good variety of dishes across starters and mains. We started with the Slow Cooked Beef Tacos with pickled wonky cucumber, blue cheese, spring onion & chilli (£7.95) and the Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Skewers with pickled jalapeño, cucumber, mixed leaf & gochujang dressing (£8.95). Both dishes were on the large side for starters. On to the mains, and these impressed even more! The Wild Mushroom Gnocchi with roast squash, tarragon, crème fraîche, parmesan & truffle oil (£13.95) was seriously dreamy. Very deep in flavour, not overpowered by the truffle though, it was very creamy and absolutely delightful. The mushroom and butternut squash were cooked beautifully, as was the gnocchi – providing plenty of great textures. The Roast Chicken, Mushroom & Tarragon Pie with puff pastry & mixed leaf (£14.50) was another fantastic main. The puff pastry was flaky and just on the top of the pie meaning the filling to pastry ratio was great. The filling itself had a great flavour, with the umami from the mushroom and tarragon coming together so well. It was a tad runny at first but thickened up as we made our way through it. We had such a fantastic evening at this wonderful neighbourhood restaurant in Pimlico. The srvice was so friendly and welcoming, as was the whole atmosphere and experience. The cocktails were fantastic, as was the food. We could easily see why it would be a local’s favourite neighbourhood spot, and it is definitely a spot to have on your list!

Yelp
An absolutely delightful Sunday brunch at No 11 Pimlico Road. This place has it all - a comfortable layout with plenty of room, light and airy, great food, good deals and dazzling service (particularly worth mentioning are our primary servers Sam and Maria). We had a long, lingering brunch complete with 90 minutes of free flowing bubbles. Even the free flowing element had an entire menu of choices. Attentive service and tasty food. I would recommend booking ahead as the venue was busy, particularly over the lunch hour. However we never felt ignored or overlooked, just the opposite. Our table of five had the best time here. Will return again.

Yelp
Came with a groups of friends and we all loved it. Great food and great service. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Yelp
Had the house burger with fries. Very good, one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, actually. No exaggeration. And the fries with skins was very crisp, delicious.

Yelp
Amazing open airy gastro pub, with incredibly varied menu! The Sunday roasts are amazing.. plus best soba noodles bowl says wife, that she's ever had. Also pavlova.. Giovanni the manager on top of every detail, charming and so attentive.

Yelp
Truly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Our reservation was for 1.30pm. At 2pm the waitress came to the table (still had yet to receive drinks even) to tell us we couldn't put in our order for another 30 minutes because they were too busy. After complaining about the absurdity of having to wait a full hour after sitting to even put in our order, the waitress came back and told us that we could in fact order. We then however, sat for a full HOUR, and didn't receive our food until 3pm, when the food arrived, cold. For a 1.30pm brunch reservation, to not receive our food for an hour an half after sitting down is unacceptable. The food itself was also completely tasteless, and extremely overpriced. I'm never one to leave reviews and I've had better experiences at this restaurant a few years ago, but this recent visit was truly appalling. I will certainly not be going back, and would caution anyone else to avoid.

Yelp
Really good service, amazing ambiance, delicious food! Great place for breakfast! We had the eggs and bacon with tasted amazing. The balance of flavor was great. We also had the eggs Benedict and they were delicious. The tea of course was great!

Yelp
The best brunch starts with cocktails Spoilt with choices from their classics and their autumn creations, I started with Green Glow (£11.5) which is made of St Germain elderflower, Ketel One vodka, ginger sugar and matcha so refreshing and 100% appropriate at 11amI enjoyed the Thai style crab cakes (£7.95) a lot as having it in Thai style is very unique and flavourful Truffle macaroni cheese (£5) was good although the truffle taste could be stronger. The steamed mussels w/ skin-on fries (£16.5) are definitely a lighter brunch main for those who prefers seafood! And of course the brunch can't end without the usual Espresso Martini (£10.95) Highly recommend the cocktails

Yelp
We went for drinks after my birthday lunch nearby and had a good time. I absolutely adored the ambience -- not your average stuffy my pub. Decor was very tasteful, and the atmosphere was generally spacious and sophisticated. I thought it would be great for any family or friend occasions. Didn't have any food, but the cocktails were generally good. I didn't see the full range, as my friends ordered for me, but my whiskey sour was refreshing and my fiancée's rum with ginger beer was good too. Service was generally friendly and prompt. We went without any reservation, but they let the six of us sit at a common table without too much faff. Would definitely go back to try out more of their food and drinks

Yelp
We a group of 4 Asian girls visited this restaurant in noon of 11th March. When we first arrived, the host showed us the 'the only table', and my friend asked the host if there are other options upstairs. The host (long hair in black dress) said "Let me say it again, this is the ONLY TABLE" with a despising tone. Can she be ANY RUDER? After ONE whole hour, our food finally arrived, yet with NO FORKS. 5 mins after, we tried to ask the host who was WANDERING AROUND the restaurant for forks, and she ignored us one and stopped for the second time to called us RUDE for twice, because she is the host who CANT get the guests forks. We feel severely DISCRIMINATED from the host. We didnt feel we get fair service from the host.

Yelp
Beautiful space decorated in an aesthetic I would probably do myself if I was opening a restaurant. It's big and inviting. I went there for lunch on a tuesday. It was very busy and we sat in the far corner but the waitstaff managed to stay involved and attentive. We had salami crostini and quinoa app and they blew us away. For lunch we had the chicken schnitzel and burger. Both delicious without being heavy. We had to pay extra for fries which I find annoying (burger = fries) but obviously I enjoyed the place nonetheless.

Yelp
I attended No. 11 Pimlico with my family for their New Year's Eve Party (2015-16). The experience was good, but didn't blow us away. When we walked in, we were seated at our table and given complimentary cocktails, along with the menu for the night and a drinks list. The food was consistently incredible, as were the drinks. We also received 2 bottles of wine (1 White, 1 Red) for the table, included in the cost of our tickets. What wasn't fantastic, however, was the atmosphere. I wasn't expecting a huge party, but the sense of celebration was lacking. The band that Pimlico hired played a very strange set of songs (granted, this is not *exactly* the restaurant's fault but it greatly affected our experience), and they didn't do a New Years countdown! The clock struck 12 and the band realized 30s later that they had missed it and did a mock countdown. Not good, and a little unprofessional. Bottom-line: We all enjoyed our experience at No. 11 Pimlico, and I would like to give it 3.5 stars. The food was great and the service was excellent, but our overall time spent there was just so-so. More attention should've been paid to the band's choices (or the choice of the band), and more should have been done to increase the celebratory atmosphere.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience - a really wonderful spot to go for brunch. Really open and good for groups. I went to catch up with a friend on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty much empty which could be a good or bad thing! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her bacon sandwich - I thought the pancakes were ok, nothing special but got a side of maple syrup with them which vastly improved the situation (but then again, what situation is ever not improved by adding maple syrup?!). The service however was very good! The lady serving us was such a sweet heart! Nice brunch place, very pretty to go to with friends but not somewhere I'd particularly rush back to. The sort of place I'd recommend to go to if you're in the area.

Yelp
This gastropub appears charming and hipster chic; however appearances are often deceptive and decidedly so here. The rudeness and incompetence of the waitstaff was impressively consistent - maybe hired for bad attitude? The bland food had an equally distasteful character. Give this a pass - there are many excellent nearby choices in Pimlico.

Yelp
Best Chicken Kiev I've ever had, laid back atmosphere and in a nice neighborhood. Wait staff was great

Yelp
What a lovely but simple place for lunch just a skip away from Victoria Station and near Buckingham Palace. I had a delicious chicken club sandwich on heavenly sourdough bread. My wife had an equally yummy hamburger. Service was efficient and friendly. Really good spot for a drink or a quick lunch.

Yelp
I would say this place deserves more like a 3.5. I have been here a few times. Twice for a coffee and once for brunch. For brunch I had eggs Benedict which were actually really tasty. However, based on the portion I found the dish overpriced. The service has been average (to below average) every time. Not very polite or helpful staff. It is extremely busy over brunch and its really difficult to hear the person at your table. It's decorated nicely and def has a posh feel to it. It's conveniently located 10mins away from Victoria station.

Yelp
I was a big fan of No.11's forebear, the Ebury, which, despite never having had the greatest of drinks lists, really stood out for its sensational interior (a brilliant, rich, take on mid-century and 1970s plush bar design) and atmosphere until the Orange, a couple of hundred feet away, apparently absorbed half its customer base back in 2010. No.11 has a different theme, with quirky, smiling waiters introducing themselves by their first names, a very brightly-lit (think early TK Maxx or Clockwork Orange) interior, and a concise menu with one or two sharing plates and only four or five discernible main courses (on a Sunday, at least). The quirkiness of the theme is initially refreshing, but its lack of finesse soon begins to grate: I came to the conclusion, after an hour of trying to make sense of the discordant mishmash of cheap imitation-50s furniture in pastel colours, pre-painted MDF joinery, facile artwork, relentless white and pale grey metro tiles and (wait for it) limed pine flooring, that this is a ruthlessly cheap, tasteless interior. In a world of perfectly-executed mid-century modern themed spaces, there really is no excuse for this stew. The drinks menu is improved on what the Ebury had to offer, but still not special, and the chewy rump steak and grease-saturated chips I ordered were of a standard I've not experienced since venturing into a Leicester Square steakhouse back in the 1990s. The appalling food may just have been a one-off - every place deserves a second chance - but with competition like the Orange offering a superior environment and cuisine of a completely different order, I'd be surprised if No.11 made it through the year.

Yelp
Very nice place for a coffee or, I imagine, lunch, but I didn't get to try the food. The staff were universally nice and welcoming and the decor is lovely I thought. Quite nice for a treat for your mum/aunt/granny etc. The hot chocolate was decent (although really everywhere should replace whatever they are currently serving with the delicious Italian/Spanish style thick hot chocolate).
google avatar

Yelp
Apparently, I'm a glutton for punishment. I got the sticky lentil and burrata main with kale pesto. Sounds good right? No, just no. First of all, I waited 25 minutes for my food. I sat at the bar and NEVER during that time did the barstaff RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME offer to check on my food, asked if I needed something, etc. How DOES SERVICE SUCK SO BAD ON THIS CONTINENT GARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. &#@(*$#@^@ Finally, got said food. And the lentil were lukewarm bc my food had been sitting out too long. Next the burrata was one of the blandest I have ever had. The lentils had a subtle flavour but it was just too underwhelming. I finished the meal because I was hungry but Jesus, London just does NOT do food like NY. NYC I miss you =*(

Yelp
I went there for a late brunch on a Sunday and absolutely loved it ! You should definitely think about booking beforehand though as it can get really busy. The food was delicious, and their coffee reminded me of Melbourne, that's how good it was! The atmosphere is really nice and cosy and the staff very friendly ! I highly recommend this place for brunch or lunch ! Xx

Yelp
No 11 is a gorgeous restaurant with masses of potential, but it misses the mark a little bit. The staff seem a bit blasé, including the managers. There was no smiling and no welcoming attitude. The team could do with a little more professionalism all round. The beverages are expensive and not very interesting. Wines by the glass were altogether stock standard which for £7-9 a glass should have a more interesting selection I had the slow cooked pork with roast duck fat potatoes and sweet cabbage. It was tasty but disappointedly swimming in liquid (most likely from the cabbage which hadn't been drained properly). No one offered me dessert so I paid the bill and left. The decor is stunning and the brasserie was decked out with huge white snowflakes for Xmas which was a lovely touch but ultimately if the food and service doesn't cut it the decor isn't going to get guests to visit.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my late saturday brunch at this place. First the place is by itself very welcoming with an atmosphere such that you feel that you can spend a lot of time here without bothering - which we, and several other groups around us, did. It is nice to feel that you can take all the time you want, especially for a brunch. I hate being rushed out. The high ceiling and whole organization of the huge room gives you plenty of space and the design is nice, a bit new-york like. The eggs Benedict I ordered were really good (although I advised you to order the double, single is obviously NOT enough for a decent appetite) and quite healthier than usual: they are served on a good cereal bread - lighter and also better for my state than the usual heavy muffins!! - and with some spinach salad. For dessert, I spied on our neighbors and spotted a very good looking crumble which I immediately ordered: it was so good that I had to fight with my friend to save some and that they finally ordered another one. So, my best advice for this place is: do not miss the crumble and order enough for the whole table.

Yelp
This place reminds me of The Anthologist in the City. Spacious, posh looking, communal tables, cocktails and bistro food with a British twist. Definite a crowd pleaser, nothing wrong with it, but I just don't feel excited about it. However, before I went, I was really full of anticipation of this place, because a co-worker organized a Valentine lunch that I couldn't go. So I checked out the website and marked it as a to try. Finally I took my intern there as a "Thank you". The restaurant is at an odd location, at least from Victoria direction. We walked pass the coach station, then a bunch of buildings and then still nothing. She started to question where this posh place was. We finally found it standing all by itself with nothing around it. Luckily the inside was nice and I felt redeemed. The food here was alright, not bad, but nothing to remember either. And the services weren't great either. I was a bit disappointed by it. It is one of those places you will just forget that you have ever been.

Yelp
This place desperately needs a sound absorption solution; the tile walls just bounce noise around creating a cacophony guaranteed to drive anyone over 30 mad. Of course, that may be intentional to keep the clientele to young, well-heeled professionals who are used to shouting across a dance floor. But seriously, who breads Halloumi? The food is only a half step above traditional British pub fair, despite the stylish setting and beautiful people. Creative cocktails and a solid wine list.

Yelp
Came here with some of my friends , we were 11 in total. I understand this is a significant amount of people to cook for , but keep in mind we are talking about brunch meaning mainly eggs royal and avocado toasts. We ended up waiting for 1.30 hours for our food to arrive , and only after complaining multiple times and being treated with no respect whatsoever. In addition they forgot some of our orders and not all the food came at the same time , with some people having to wait over 10 min extra for their food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone , the food was too mediocre to put up with any of the disrespect the manager treated us with. Absolutely disgraceful !

Yelp
On a late Sunday afternoon, we were looking for a place to have a warm drink that would not be Starbucks and found this really nice place. We were told to sit at the bar if we were only having drinks, which was fine. So we sat, had a look at the menu and waited for someone to come to take our order. After a few minutes of waiting a waitress saw us looking expectantly at her, so she (reluctantly) came to us. But didn't take our order! We said we wanted to have drinks, she went to her colleague, who didn't even look our way. Then she came back and didn't acknowledge us or anything, didn't say that her colleague was gonna take care of us. We waited a few more minutes but as nothing happened we just left and headed to the nearby Starbucks, where at least the staff didn't ignore us.

Roy Q.

Yelp
This place looks very nice and keeps convincing me to go back but having been there several times now the service and food never fails to disappoint. I took the family there for dinner this time and each of our meals were overcooked, the fish two of us had was very dry and the entres were luke warm. We had calamari for appetizers and it was very rubbery, falvourless and appeared to have been freezer burned.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
I live locally and have eaten here for lunch twice and dinner once. Always lovely staff who are super welcoming and knowledgeable. Food is tasty. Sunday lunch is nice. Desserts a highlight. Though could taste no spice in the spiced chocolate mousse the other night, it was still a very very tasty mousse. The burgers are very good but the beers are outstanding. They have several of the beavertown ones in bottles and the 8 ball rye and the smog rocket porter are what send us here to sate a craving.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the granola with yogurt and a side of scrambled eggs. The granola was decent, but the eggs were incredible - well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and said its one of the best she's ever had! She said every ingredient was fresh and amazing, from the egg to the spinach to the sourdough.
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for something a little classier around Victoria this is a good choice. The cocktails are nice, the food is good. I usually have the snacks since they are great to share amongst friends.

Monique M.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a weekday. Interior was nice. Had a cosy feel despite being quite spacious. The place was fairly empty so service should have been spot on however the staff weren't very attentive and the food took ages to come out. I ordered the salmon en croute. It was almost inedible. The salmon was way over cooked and tasted fishy. The dish was way too salty and it was wrapped in a soggy filo pastry where as I thought en croute was puff pastry? I ordered a side of green beans which were also over salted and tasted like raw garlic. I will not be coming back. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
I really really want to like this place. The atmosphere is airy yet warm and inviting. I hadn't been in the Ebury, the previous restaurant here, but the space is really really lovely. I've been here twice now, and not sure that I will be coming back. At first glance the menu looks promising with plenty of British favourites, but the food just didn't live up to the promise. I had the proscuitto caesar salad for lunch - not bad, but not good either. A friend had the fish finger sandwich which again seemed just OK. And for the price you pay, you want more than just OK. On the second visit for brunch, I tried the Breakfast Bruschetta which again left something to be desired. The coffee, however, was very good.

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing and I am so shocked to see that it doesn't have more than 4 stars! My mom and I are visiting London from California, and this place made us feel right at home! We walked here from our hotel and were the first customers in for breakfast. The waitress was very nice, attentive, and asked us if we were enjoying London. We started with a round of coffees, but I would have loved to try one of their juices or kombucha. For breakfast I had the avocado toast and my mom had a vegetarian breakfast burger. They were both to die for! So many flavors, and very filling in a light healthy way! We also got a fruit salad to share. The peaches in it were amazing! They were cooked in something that made them very sweet and we wanted more. The same peaches are in the chia pot so that must be very tasty too! The restaurant was very clean and super cute! The vibe is contemporary and hip. They had real plants on all the tables which I really enjoyed. The bathrooms had very nice smelling soaps and lotions with floral scents that were relaxing. They had a lot of very nice looking cocktails, drinks, and really great things on the menu. If in the area I highly recommend to come here! I wish we found this place sooner or we would have come on our first night.

Yelp
Nice, bright, large bar with big windows and cool decor. Good selection of drinks and spirits and a good cocktail menu. The staff were a bit surly which jarred with the atmosphere and relaxed vibe of the place.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place for brunch. Been having the eggs benedict which is amazing but decided to get the Sunday roast. Omg the seasoning and juiciness of the roast is divine. I definitely would come here again. Make sure to book in advance as they do get very busy after 12:00 noon. Would give them more stars but the service is a bit slow. I only come here when I'm not in a rush to get anywhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Simple. Fresh. Delicious. Perfectly cooked Sea bass with a traditional hollandaise sauce for asparagus. Perfect Saturday lunch in a fun, festive atmosphere. A special gem tucked away to enjoy a glass of wine and light meal.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great! I came tonight for a drink & dessert after dinner and everything was great! The ambiance is so nice, very put together but not stuffy. We had the banana ice cream and the apple crumble, both were delish and plated beautifully. I live in the neighborhood and compared to other restaurants nearby, this one is by far much better. I'm looking forward to bringing friends & family when they come in town to visit! Cons: pineapple sage mojito wasn't great and the chairs really are low.
google avatar

Carmen C.

Yelp
Good option for brunch near Victoria station. The eggs benedict were delicious - eggs were poached perfectly but took a while to be served. Service was terrible - took at least 5 minutes to get seated when there were plenty of free tables around. Wait staff seemed a bit brisk and pretentious - did not give off a very welcoming vibe.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
I really liked this place, my girlfriend works around the corner and told me to nip in one day to meet her for a drink. Great atmosphere, we managed to find a couple of comfy chairs to flop in. One thing I hate about after work drinking is the lack of seating, so it was nice to be able to get comfortable. Two bottles of Malbec later and we realised the night had totally disappeared.

H H.

Yelp
No. 1 Disaster! Awful service and awful food. The menu was limited. The waitress was so unhelpful - just asked for eggs and toast and she said they can't do that even though there are eggs and toast on menu. Very stuck up and rude woman. Better off getting a McDonalds breakfast! This is the worst restaurant I have been to in London. The restaurant seems lovely but don't be fooled by exteriors!

Ada S.

Yelp
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a posh nice pub near Victoria station. It is pricey, so bear that mind. Cocktails are good and so are their snacks. Service is a bit on the slow side if it gets busy-and it can get busy here. The mini honey sausages are delish, a must have here.

This place is utterly gorgeous. It's about a 10 minute walk from Victoria station, in a fairly residential area, with high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, and large windows that take in a lot of natural daylight. My friend and I came here for a Sunday brunch, and could hardly bring ourselves to leave. It reminds me a bit of Truscott Arms in terms of layout, but even better. We sat in a corner table at the far end away from the door, and it was very relaxing to be away from the main action of the restaurant. So many things on the Sunday menu called to me. I had a desperate craving for roast, so I went for the roast beef, but I was sorely tempted by No 11 Club Sandwich, the Breakfast Sourdough Bruschetta, and the Crostini with the choice of: smoked salmon, dill, and crème fraiche; chorizo & avocado salsa; and olive & sundried tomato tapenades. Seriously. I will definitely need to make a return trip. The roast was great as well... just can't wait to come back.
