"Ventnor No. 7311, a coffee and baked goods spot owned by local restaurateur Cookie Till of Steve and Cookie’s and baker Kim Richmond, features an expansive coffee and tea menu and plentiful sweet bakery treats. Stop in for a cappuccino or other handcrafted coffee option and sip your favorite beverage alongside a chocolate chunk scone or lemon walnut biscotti. Be sure to buy some cookies or pies to take home with you—triple chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter pie, and coconut cream pie are some of the tempting options." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Was in town last Tuesday and Wednesday and decided to try this place, needless to say I had to go both days! The drink tasted amazing and the morning cookie was devious. The barista was super sweet and made my drink look awesome. I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in town!

Google
WORTH THE LONG LINE! Highly recommend almost everything on the bakery menu, including the coffee. Best of the best! (Orange Olive Oil Cake, Pistachio & Blueberry Croissant, Almond Croissant, Morning Bun, etc.)

Google
Cute, packed local coffee shop. Latte was well made with silky foam milk and lasting Latte art. Good assortment of vegan and gluten free as well as "normal" pastries. People in line - long one - were talking any the morning cookies and the individual blueberry pies. Good place to sit outside and people-watch with your coffee. They have bike parking👍

Google
I've been coming here for a while now and I'm always impressed. The food and pastries are the BEST and they often offer gluten/free and vegan options. The coffee is always delicious and they have unique add-ins (ghee, bee pollen, turmeric honey). Some of my favorite pastries include the morning cookie, lavender shortbread, and Hungarian shortbread... but literally everything is good and fresh. It gets super crowded during tourist season and parking can be impossible, so it's a good idea to go in early. Alternatively, come with a sacrificial friend and force them to drive around the block until you're done ordering.

Google
Good coffee but not worth the rude staff. Gatekeeper at the door told a mom with a baby she couldn’t bring in her baby with the stroller and suggested she “not come in or bring someone else with her.” Ordered a coffee with oat milk and it was given to me black. When i asked for oat milk they said “you have to actually tell us next time because you have to pay extra.”

Google
This was your ideal coffee shop. The place was cozy but didn't overly focus on that - they kept their focus where it mattered which was the coffee, service, and the baked goods. There is an incredible selection of fresh baked goods like scones, tarts, muffins, croissants, danishes. As a pastry aficionado I really had to hold myself back and not try one of everything. I stuck to the fig rolls, blueberry lemon scones, and apple cinnamon scones. All of them were excellent. My favorite was the fig rolls though. I love figs and these were just too good. Now that I'm back home 100 miles away, I wish I had stocked up on some of their baked goods and brought them back home. Def stop here for your coffee time, so good!

Google
Welcome to Ventnor! This excellent small batch bakery and coffee shop does not disappoint. ☕️ With excellent choices including cafe lattes, espressos and cold brew to name a few, the coffee comes out fresh and hot. Also, you’re going to be hard pressed to find a poor choice in the bakery and pastry department!! Our group enjoyed the oatmeal cookie bar, the pumpkin muffin and chocolate chip cookie - each delicious. We also got a sprinkle cookie to go for our daughter who loved it. Make sure you stop by and say hi!

Google
This bakery and coffee shop is related to Steve & Cookies Restaurant. It has a great selection of baked goods and brunch type items. It is a mile or two from the restaurant. There is no dining in capability, but there are tables and chairs set up on the sidewalk. The apple crumb cake was phenomenal and I loved the mini brownies as well. Would definitely visit there again. I will pre-order their blueberry pie which is the best you will ever have!!

Yelp
Get coffee from here, seriously! The best coffee I tried in the Atlantic City area. There was a long line, but was worth it. My husband got coffee with coconut milk - which is usually not great but they made it amazing. Their pastries looked good also. Especially the baked bread they had on display. I am gluten free but was tempted! The place was busy!

Yelp
Our last 2 visits were very disappointing. I used to love getting lattes here and sometimes would get 2 because they were just that good. They used to be delicious with amazing latte art. Now it's not the same. No more latte art and the taste is all wrong. I guess it's a combination of bad beans and unskilled baristas. I gave it 3 stars because cupcakes were still good. Bad review is just for latte and not baked goods.

Sylvia S.

Yelp
7311 is our to go coffee shop when we are down the shore. The fresh baked goods, the quality of the coffee is pretty good. Definitely on top 10!

Yia-Ming L.

Yelp
Really excited to try this coffee shop. It came highly recommended by a couple of friends. We had high expectations because when we got there there was a line down the block. They have a variety of bake good options like banana break, mini pie, tart, cookies, and cupcakes. They also have vegan and dairy free options. Same for their drinks, they offer a lot of options for dairy substitutes and alternatives. I got the ice chai latte with regular milk and their chocolate banana bread. The chai tasted like diluted tazo chai latte (not my favorite). The banana bread was yummy.

Allison K.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in Ventnor. Coffee is smooth, staff are friendy. Shop is cute and their pastries looked good, I just didn't want to grab any for my trip. Will be back again!

Natasha P.

Yelp
https://www.facebook.com/1013989668/posts/10224483286482386/?d=n My Golden milk with coconut was delicious. Thank you for the breakdown where whole milk was typically the creamier option. But the flavors of the coconut in the combo of ashwganda (?), Tumeric and ginger etc were on point. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The baked goods looked wonderful as well. And from the super long line, extremely well received by their adoring AM first day of the year brunch fans! I look forward to returning. Enjoying more time within and savoring the various gluten free options on hand. Happy 2022!

Richard R.

Yelp
This place is excellent. Great coffee and even better baked goods. Be prepared to wait in line but it will be worth it.

matthew v.

Yelp
They have the best deserts. I strongly recommend the peanut butter pie and blueberry pie. I have never had a better desert. The staff and the owner are very nice, they make going there worth every penny.

Isabella S.

Yelp
Amazing service! Really good food, I tried the cinnamon scone and it was delicious! Even better coffee, the people were really nice.

Linda D.

Yelp
Greatest healthy breakfast treats.. only healthy ingredient everywhere.. recommend their breakfast cookies and lemon bars and blueberry buckle bars . Off the charts

Tim K.

Yelp
Always great! Best coffee drinks and small batch baked goods Hungarian shortbread and scones are my favorites

Tina N.

Yelp
We drove a good 30 minutes to try out this place. Total disappointment. The girl at the register this morning was extremely rude. It was our first time here and she spoke to us very condescendingly because we weren't familiar with the menu. It's not our fault that this business is messy and doesn't have their menu intact online. The girl left a horrible impression on us and trust me, it's not worth the drive here.

Virginia C.

Yelp
Found a local coffee shop in a beach town. I generally head to Starbucks to do some work on the main strip, but this offers a little quiet retreat next to the monopoly trail. It's pricer than starbucks, but has more sweets and a local punch card offer! Bottom-line... my favorite local Coffee Shop when I'm in Margate in the Summer and Winter.

Sarah S.

Yelp
I live super close to this coffee shop and when it first opened I was so excited because it's so cute and looked awesome. I have been underwhelmed literally every time I've gone here. Just went today for the first time this season to get a vanilla, Matcha latte it he said like nothing. I asked them specifically to make sure it was extra blended since I had gotten chunky Matcha more than once here and it came out exactly the same as usual. There was not even a hint of vanilla flavor and I double checked to make sure it was my drink and it was added. The only thing that I will really go here for is the lavender shortbread cookies but even those are pretty overpriced in my opinion. Overall just pretty overrated.

Brittany K.

Yelp
Why go to Starbucks when you can A.) do so much better and B.) support a local business?! The menu is pretty much similar if not identical but the coffee is superior here. It tastes less franchised and more like caffeinated goodness. I love Ventnor 7311 mainly because the employees are so pleasant. This place can get pretty busy, especially in the summertime, and yet the employees remain cool. The place is also well kept and clean. The milk/creamer counter never hosts spills and sugar scatters. I don't have to worry about my sleeves soaking up milk while mixing my coffee to perfection. Yes the coffee concoctions are great but the real all star here is the impressive pastry case. They have double the options of the chain houses and quadruple the taste! Their takes on traditional coffee cakes are bomb. The blueberry buckle bar wins me over. The blueberry filling is the highlight but isn't too sweet. The crumble on top hosts the sugar. It's a delightful bite that will keep your coffee in good company. But hey! Those muffins, breads, and cookies are all winners too. No wrong answers here. This establishment offers a pleasant setting in Ventnor city. It's just a couple blocks from the beach and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are nearby, you'd be well advised to walk. Summertime parking is a hassle and you'll need meter change. However, the wintertime is a much calmer time here at the shore. Much easier to park and the line will likely be nonexistent. Just depends when you come. Awesome year round though!

Gianna V.

Yelp
Great coffee and service. It gets very busy in summer love the baked goodies they have.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Love everything here! Great coffee drinks and baked goods! The blueberry pie though is out of this world!

Hayley G.

Yelp
The best treats! Everything from the blueberry pie to the chocolate chip scones are fresh and delicious. We recently tried their cupcakes, and enjoyed those too. Try the iced vitamints tea for a refreshing summer drink. The lines can be long (especially weekends) but worth the wait. Highly recommend ordering ahead so that you can skip the wait and guarantee you get the pastries of your choice. Enjoy!!

Madison C.

Yelp
Great pastry offering, many gluten free and paleo options which is awesome! I also am a big fan of their teas, not so much the coffee (it's too strong for me, but I'm a sissy) Highly recommend the coconut london fog for a hot drink and the Thai iced tea for a cold drink! You really can't go wrong with the baked goods, I've had amazing banana breads, spinach pies, and cookies!

Vishal P.

Yelp
Cool local cafe. They have some great no-frills expresso drinks and teas. What sells me on this place is their small batched backing. I love their scones and lemon cakes!

Jonathan M.

Yelp
Food is marvelous. Great selection of baked goods, coffees, and other items. Parking is rough, but worth a few twirls around the hood. Love this place!

Wendy P.

Yelp
Very good coffee and friendly staff. Also got a chocolate banana bread which was good. Drank coffee outside at little table

Dolly M.

Yelp
I am not a die hard coffee drinker, though this seems like a great place to get an awesome brew. I love this place because it's brought a lot of great vibes into the Ventnor community!! This small batch bakery offers delectable freshly made scones, breads, muffins and all sorts of healthy items that would set your tastebuds a singing!! It is decorated in a classic French style with a bit of homegrown farmhouse goodness. Clean black and white counters and tiles, soft woodwork, with succulents and soft leather couches surround you. Outside seating is bright cheerful pops of bright green set against wood carved benches. Even the canines get their share of attention! There are doggie only treats and a bowl of water set up outside for your thirsty pet. The pies and treats are freshly baked and the favorites will run out early!! The lines form early, so don't be late to sample some of 7311's magic!! Kudos to Cookie for extending her food love to us, here in Ventnor!!

Yelp
Do staff members have issues with customers who wear masks or do they have the illness of racism in them? Both? I wear a mask even if I am vaccinated, but I got the sense that the employee behind the counter presented herself in a rude manner when I placed my order. She did not respond to my polite greetings or gratitude. Bad day on the job? It did not feel right. This is a local, small, neighborhood coffee shop. This DMV - like customer service would definitely pay off.

Andrea K.

Yelp
I have never eaten there. I guess it's in Ventnor or Margate I'm sure that people go there and like it cause it would not listen if it wasn't good

jordi w.

Yelp
The coffee is okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I try to avoid this place at all costs because of, as noted by multiple reviewers, the horrible attitudes of the staff. Arrogant, snobby, ungrateful of kindness, rude, and just plain miserable humans.

Mills L.

Yelp
Update your Wednesday hours and I'll take down the review. Wasted a trip here because of it.

Jill B.

Yelp
Great coffee! And even better pastries! The employees were very happy and ready to help with giving their own recommendations as well

Walter C.

Yelp
This place is exactly what Down beach is all about. The baked goods are phenomenal and the espresso is Spot on great! Manager Lisa was super helpful and gave us great hospitality. Very relaxed local atmosphere. Long live the local cafe.

Pat T.

Yelp
let's start by saying Ventnor 7311 has amazing decor. The place is so sleek and feels like you're walking into a calm, serene place where you can either chat quietly with a friend or study for your next exam. This coffee shop is situated a few blocks away from Atlantic City's casinos but it feels like a separate world. It is extremely welcoming and cozy inside. The coffee is extremely fresh and fragrant. It was so delicious and had the caffeine kick you'll need to head back to casinos or to enjoy a walk on the boardwalk. I highly recommended grabbing yourself an iced coffee to begin your day here at Ventnor No 7311.

Nancy C.

Yelp
This place serves the best coffee and baked goods on Absecon Island. The service is very friendly, and the sidewalk seating provides a relaxing atmosphere for sharing secrets with friends !

Aileen D.

Yelp
Bottoms up basis 1/1 for being an original, small business 1/1 for the women working the pastry side of the house. Friendly and great customer service 1/1 for baked goods. Fresh, wholesome ingredients. Delicious 0/1 for the barista. I went out of my way to try to support the local coffee shop but that guy in the beanie was arrogant and made me feel stupid for asking about a coffee combo. Stereotypical hipster. 0/1 coffee for $7, nothing special, no thanks 3/5. I'll return for amazing baked goods to go. Ill go elsewhere for coffee.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Incredibly cavalier attitude about screwing up my order. "Oh, we put it in the wrong bin." So, that's your problem. Here is my order number from ONE WEEK ago, paid in full. Ya think you want to fix it for your customer? Very displeased with customer service. So Happy Birthday- not.

Sarah T.

Yelp
I love this cute lil place! A friend recommended the newly open Ventnor no. 7311 for good coffee and specialty baked goods. My husband and I took a bike ride over and were not disappointed. I try to eat paleo but alas good food can lure me astray so to get good paleo treats is a luxury. Not only do the have delicious paleo and vegan options but I must say my paleo blueberry scone was just as good as my husbands regular blueberry scone. (Mine was better). They also have coconut milk and almond milk so I had my iced latte the way I like it. We took a ton of stuff home with us including .75 homemade doggie biscuits for my pupparoo who gobbled them down in seconds. The gals and guys behind the counter were helpful & sweet. Overall this place is a gem. Outdoor bistro tables if you want to bring your pups and sip some good cafe.

Al L.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, wide selection of different milks.. wide selection of baked goods, I got their banana bread & chocolate chip cookies, which were excellent. Very dog friendly, my dog goes crazy over their doggie biscuits. Very friendly staff.. when the weather is nice, it's no surprise there is a line out the door.

Mark M.

Yelp
Great coffee and plenty of options to make your regular coffee taste amazing. There are so many good options for vegan and gluten-free treats. Staff seemed like cool people as well.

Lindsay W.

Yelp
My favorite friendly family bakery/coffee shop ever!!! Perfect in every way! Such a wonderful addition to the area. I'll continue to enjoy the mochas with oat milk, lavender lemonade and delicious goodies!! Go enjoy it!!

Lena P.

Yelp
Probably my favorite place in the world for coffee, excellent pastries and even better service as well. just an adorable spot two blocks from the beach

Domenic D.

Yelp
Not sure whose raving about this place. Terrible. From the service to the dry baked goods.

Cathy G.

Yelp
The coffee is terrific! (Some of the baristas have a bit of an attitude, not a fan of that). I think they have some pretty decent pastries, especially the almond croissants, but a lot of the "bar desserts" are really skimpy with the filling, and it would be refreshing to see some new cookies/pastries under those domes every now and then.

Linda G.

Yelp
Heavenly coffee and beautifully presented baked goods. The owner " Cookie" knows how to appeal to the masses . Very cool decor, wifi and scones. What else could you ask for?? Oh, a dish of water outside for the fur babies is also offered.

Kathleen Q.

Yelp
Amazing little local shop with fantastic coffee, baked goods, service and atmosphere. Quickly became one of my favorites after just a few visits. All the employees, including Jack and Mike at the counter, are awesome, personable and welcoming. Espresso drinks are always top notch and I've enjoyed the bag of Cookies Good Karma blend coffee I brought home. Chocolate salted rye cookie and lavender shortbread cookie are a must-have, and the people watching is always good-- the place is a local favorite and it's easy to see why.

Nataly T.

Yelp
I came here a couple of times so let me just tell you the treats and coffee are amazing. I am on a diet rn so when I want a simple treat I drive to Ventnor to get some treats. The baked goods are reasonably priced, the coffee is delicious, and the people are awesome. I came here with friends before and I got them hooked. This place is amazing and will definitely return.

Mary D.

Yelp
I really love their oat milk latte. Staff are super friendly and they have delicious baked goods. Chocolate chip cookie is a classic favorite.

Veronica M.

Yelp
They have the best coffee and pastries. Not to mention their blueberry is AMAZING! Fresh blueberries with the most delicious crust. I always come down here when I'm in Ventnor. Next time I get the blueberry pie I will for sure post a picture

Ashley M.

Yelp
The workers were extremely friendly and helpful! I ordered a cappuccino with their new oat milk and it was delicious. The place has a really cool and cozy feel as well. A really cute place to meet up with friends or even grab some coffee with a date. Everything about the place is very artsy and fun. Definitely will be going back.

Chele H.

Yelp
Love this place. Everything is freshly made with many coffee and tea choices. Living two blocks away has made it hard to resist. I would have given this 5 stars but it typically takes 10 minutes standing in line to get your order. I would recommend they have two staff members at the food ordering section as many times there is one and while that person is helping check out a customer, the long line continues. Other than that, I highly recommend this bakery/coffee shop!

Dorothy D.

Yelp
The only place I've found anywhere near Ocean City that has delicious pastries with all the ingredients listed and selections that do not have added cane sugar. So if this language is unfamiliar to you, you can get a delicious pastry that sweetened with honey or fruits and it taste as good if not better than any other pastry going to find yet you're not giving your body of the inflammatory punch of sugar. Also, I was very excited with the coffee because they have several alternative milks that do not have added sugar which again is hard to find. The service was excellent the place was clean friendly convenient on the main road and there was plenty of seating.

Joseph V.

Yelp
Beautiful coffee shop, carries la colombe - huge plus! Pastries are great! always busy!

M. V.

Yelp
They have the best deserts. I strongly recommend the peanut butter pie and blueberry pie. I have never had a better desert.
