The 14 Best New Breakfast Restaurants in America | Bon Appétit

"I love the scrappy, zine-like vibe of this freestanding house turned cozy café where skateboarder-chef Stephen Browning cooks with relaxed precision: Turkish eggs hiding custardy pockets of Japanese sweet potato, tangles of fried tortillas brightening a Napa cabbage and feta salad, huge scarlet-runner baked beans with a hint of molasses in an English-ish breakfast, and an evolving menu that consistently surprises and satisfies." - ByBon Appétit Staff & Contributors

Google
This place was a total win. Packed and great decor, it lived up to the hype. The golden milk was a warm, spiced hug in a cup, and the salad—though I didn’t try it—got rave reviews for being perfectly dressed. Fries with tzatziki? A must. Even this ranch lover was impressed. The Turkish eggs divided opinions (the sweet yam was a curveball), but the vegetable minestrone was pure comfort, with pesto so fresh I wanted the recipe. And the pancakes with butternut squash? Unexpectedly perfect. Even our pancake hater was converted. Vibes, cozy, and amazing food—I’ll be back.

This is my favorite restaurant in town (and, at all) and I can’t stop telling people about it. I love the interesting dishes, and that there aren’t too many to choose from on the menu - which is great for indecisive people like me. Keep it up, No Complaix! 10/10

Google
This is a place where you HAVE to order one of everything. Steve and his crew are providing the area with some of the most delicious and creative food with a constantly rotating menu. I want to eat here everyday. Make this a staple for your GB culinary adventures.

Google
Amazing, rotating-creative food menu, bright & warm space. The vibes were immaculate (as the kids would say) & a Tony Alva signed skateboard on the wall… What’s not to love? Hip, good quality cuisine at a reasonable price

Google
Pretentious menu and annoying policies. Pretentious menu: every dish on the breakfast menu had an unappealing ingredient and most had an ingredient I had to look up to know what it as. Breakfast shouldn't be such hard work! Annoying policies: the chefs are such prima donnas that they refuse all requests regarding the food. Example: A dish had a sunny-side-up egg in it, and I asked if they would cook the egg through, but they refused. Another patron told me that even when his pregnant partner made this same request due to doctors' orders (it's dangerous for pregnant women to eat eggs that aren't fully cooled), they still refused.

Google
The food concepts here are so cool! Flavor combos that I wouldn’t thought of that came in the form of you classic burger, hot dog, salad, etc. Loved that it was a no-alcohol establishment with delicious drinks. Don’t leave without dessert!

Yelp
The food remains excellent with a lot of fine sounding offerings. I was alone this time, so I can only report on one choice. I had the falafel dish. It is an unconstructed sandwich, which makes it less messy to eat. It had some roasted squash and what I thought was a carrot as well as special pickled onions and tzatziki and all were quite delicious. At the end (you bus your plates when you are done) I asked if I missed the tip receptacle and a woman and man behind the counter said they were a no-tip restaurant and that they all got paid adequately. That is nice to hear.

Yelp
Super simple menu of fresh comfort foods. Menu changes so it's hard to know what will be great. It is fast and casual . People are friendly. It's become a family favorite.

Yelp
Nicely decorated and the lady at the counter was friendly. The food wasn't really my cup of tea though. I ordered the pork and duck terrine (which was my fault. I planned to order the duck breast before I got there but it was a slip of the tongue i didnt want to be trouble). The Japanese sweet potato was pretty good as well. They were accommodating to my sesame allergy.

Yelp
OMG the flavor profiles were sophisticated and so delicious. We are coming back. No alcohol, limited indoor seating but plenty of outside seating.

Yelp
Being in the area for a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum, we went to No Comply for dinner. We heard of it from a guest checking into our hotel, and it did not disappoint. I normally don't rave about vegetarian places, but No Comply offered a tasty selection of innovative, highly flavorful creations. My wife had the highly touted sweet potato with labneh and tahini. I had the falafel green goddess salad. She drank a matcha latte and I had a strawberry basil shrub, mixed with a cherry vinegar. All delicious. If we're in the area again, we'd go back.

Yelp
This is one of a few places that I trust whatever I order is going to be delicious, imaginative and unpretentious. Menu changes often, always with something new and exciting. Atmosphere is chill and cozy, service is quick and excellent. It is clear that the team here works very well together. I always look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
One of our new favorite spots in the area! The food is super creative and imaginative, and it's always fun to order a bunch of dishes to share. The tahini sweet potato dish was my favorite last time we went - I ended up ordering another one right after finishing the first one just because I didn't want to stop eating it lol. We also like the cool/cozy vibe, quick service, and outdoor seating option. Definitely recommend.
