The 16 Best Burgers In London

"We got very dramatic after eating at this East Acton diner. The patties are thicker than most classic smashburgers so you can get away with just one. But they still have crunchy, scalloped edges. It’s a big, messy mouthful, with beef juices that end up pooling on your plate and down pinkies. Which is why their toppings are so genius. The burger sauce is spicy and the crispy shallots add crunch to counter all that fat. It’s got all the comfort of a Big Mac, but No Drama’s burger has finesse too. The Best Chips In London

"We got very dramatic after eating at this Acton diner. Because everything at No Drama is excellent. The vibe is laid-back and the set-up is simple: a wooden counter with stools and a couple of tables, each likely to have red baskets of perfect chips on them. These fries are what Maccas fries should be like. They're light, incredibly crispy, and not even a touch greasy. You could eat the lot without even needing a napkin." - jake missing, sinead cranna

No Drama. - Review - East Acton - London - The Infatuation

"We got very dramatic after eating at this Acton diner. Because these burgers are excellent. The vibe is laid-back (your t-shirt will be stained by the end of the meal and no one will care), and the setup is simple: a wooden counter with stools, and a couple of tables, each likely to have red baskets of perfect chips on them. The patties are thicker than most classic smashburgers—thick enough that you can see pink, perfectly cooked meat after a bite, and a single patty is more than enough. But they still have crunchy, scalloped edges, and excellent toppings like spicy burger sauce and crispy shallots. It’s got all the comfort of a Big Mac, but, unlike us eating these in five greedy minutes, No Drama has finesse too. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Food Rundown photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Cheeseburger It’s a big, messy mouthful, thicker than your average smashpatty, and beef juices will end up pooling on your plate and down pinkies. Which is why their toppings are so genius. The burger sauce is spicy and the crispy shallots add some welcome crunch to counter all that fat. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Fries These fries are what Maccas fries should be like. The burger was delicious! I ordered a single cheeseburger and loaded fries. The smashed burger was well-cooked, flavorful, and complemented perfectly by the sauce and pickles, making it a great choice. The loaded fries were also impressive—crispy chips topped with cheese, a bit of fried onion, and a great blend of spices. However, one major issue was the ventilation. Despite the nice decor and ambiance, the air circulation was poor. Even though I only waited about 30 minutes for my food, my clothes absorbed the smell. I hope they improve this in the future.

I’m the guy who loves burgers! This is one of the best places to get a burger the quality is fantastic and it’s amazing taste. Their place is too small so if you want to sit inside it better come early to make a reservation! Overall high-quality burgers, and fresh patties, especially with their cheese-style spice sauce are a completely new window of taste and freshness. Highly recommended!

Finally got to try no drama after hearing the positive reviews the last few years saying it was the best burger in London and we were slightly disappointed unfortunately. It’s a delicious and simple burger - particularly liked the lacy edges and blend of flavours with the different onions and sauces - but it was small for the price (£9.50-12). Very very thin patty and no option for double patty that day. Edit; lowered to 3 stars as other photos since we left revealed that they were extra small the day we went. I don’t appreciate the inconsistency. The quality of the meat was good, we could see them cooking as the kitchen is open, but the fries are pre-made/frozen and the buns are ones I’ve seen at Tesco (st Pierre). Both were really good just not living up to the hype! The seating was minimal, bar and two small tables. We waited a few minutes before one of them cleared. So be aware it’s going to be hard to sit for groups >= 3. If you aren’t sure about smash burgers they had a mushroom and a chicken burger available too and the breakfast sandwiches and hash browns seemed to be popular.

No Drama in East Acton is a hidden gem that truly delivers on its promise of excellent food and a relaxing atmosphere. Personally the hash browns were the best I’ve ever had! The standout feature of No Drama is its ability to balance creativity with comfort. If you're in the mood for a casual bite, this is definitely the perfect spot! Highly recommended!

I really really loved my burger. It was full of flavour, filling & just incredibly tasty all round. I got the special burger called big smoke. It was great. The only issue I had with this place was that it was really small and it was really busy so there was a bit of wait, I’m guessing it’s a small business but nevertheless it was definitely worth it.

Absolutely no complains about the food. My partner had a double cheese burger which was really tasty and I had one of the specials - Big Smoke burger - which was great despite the slightly soggy bread due to the caramelised onion sauce. However… The service was extremely slow! We were only 6 customers in the shop and yet it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Absolutely no warnings about potential delay when placing the order which would have been appreciated. But at least they apologised for the delay. The place in itself is microscopically small with only two tables and a few sits at the bar. There are 4 extra tables outside but prepare to freeze off in winter. The inside was extremely smokey and with a really strong smell so do not bring any nice clothing or jackets.

Really good burgers but a loooong wait time. It’s a small place (2 tables for 2 then a long bar with 6-8 seats, 4 tables of 2 outside). We waited around 45min for 2 burgers and there was no queue (total of around 8-10 people had ordered before us). I guess the takeaways really eat into (no pun intended) their serving time. If there’s a queue at the door, don’t bother. The server did apologise for the wait though which was nice. Burgers themselves were great, had the big smoke and double cheeseburger. Regular fries also really nice and crispy (mcdonalds style).

Best burger in London!! The hype is real! Incredible smash cheese burger with crispy bacon. Nice and juicy! H.G Walters meat! Perfect soft buns. Skin on crunchy fries with soft center. Staff are ace and banging tunes playing.
