No Drama had been popping up on my socials for a while, and their new location within the Bush Tavern was reasonably close to home, so I took my kid over for an early Sunday lunch. It is a large space with loads of seating which was pretty much empty at the time.
No Drama operates independently within the Bush Tavern, meaning you have to order via QR code (which didn’t work) or go up to a dedicated little stall they have set up. Drinks are separate and ordered from the bar. I tried the all day patty while my son tried the classic cheeseburger. We shared a loaded fries and the house slaw as well. The all day patty was a handful, coming with a hash brown and fried egg layered in. It was nice but had a lot going on. I actually preferred the regular cheeseburger, this had a nice crispy edge and you could appreciated the beefy flavours a lot better. The loaded fries were good, the house slaw I would skip next time.
Staff were friendly, but it was partly a self service setup. The bill (just food) came to £43. Overall a solid burger, wouldn’t say it’s the best in town, but I would go back.
