I was in town for a conference and I saw this spot had EDH nights. I brought my decks with me. I found a pod who welcomed me and played with me the whole night. Everyone was friendly, food was good, and there was a proper bar for cocktails. Also, it didn’t smell like a card shop. Good vibes all around.

Google
Love this place on many levels but will just highlight a few things: The staff and owners are awesome; the “cheese steak” made with mushrooms is one of the best sandwiches in Baltimore (vegetarian or non vegetarian); No Land Beyond is one of those rare places where I can totally let my guard down because it accepts and celebrates all kinds of people. Definitely check out the patio while the weather is still good.

Google
I've been going to No Land Beyond for the occasional pre-release or booster draft for the last 7 years. It's been so cool to watch them grow from a dive into a beautiful space that offers awesome cocktails, in addition to their amazing collection of board games and trading card games. Everyone who works there has always been super kind and helpful. Definitely recommended for folks who are into tabletop gaming, or who want to discover new games.

Google
Absolutely 💯 fun place to go! Wonderful food, drinks and service. I love how they name everything - it's a creative environment. We went for Father's Day and picked a game we never played before, and had so much fun. The ONLY reason I knocked a star off is 1) parking can be terrible, and 2) it got soooo HOT where we were sitting. It was awful.

I have a great time every time I go. Great staff who are very friendly. Quite a good selection of games and the ability to bring your own (just make sure they know/you make them aware of the game you brought). Drink menu is pretty cute with a decent selection. When only one bartender is working, service can be a bit slow, but usually they're pretty good about taking care of patrons. Great place to host your DND or group game nights!

Google
The bar tender/server is rude. I came to look at the menu and she asked me if I paid to be in there….$5….FIVE DOLLARS girl. I replied and asked her “why are you asking me that?” She stupidly stuttered and said something about she was just checking. Checking for what? You aren’t security, and I told her “do you think I would be back here if I didn’t pay?” Again, it’s five damn dollars. Nevertheless it was my daughter’s birthday so i ignored her ignorance and attempted to still enjoy myself. She also didn’t clear my table and let the trash pile up. Overall besides her lack of customer service, the games and place is cool. I stopped before I left to speak to one of the owners. He was very nice and let me know they would be changing locations soon.

Google
A SUPER welcoming environment, TONS of play space spread across a couple floors and several rooms in this converted row-house turned into board/strategy/RPG playspace. Just $5 per person to play as long/as many games from their library as you like. If you choose to BYO game, buying food & drink there helps them keep the lights on and the pizza is more than fine, the beers are cold and the mixed drinks are playfully named & competent. Highly recommend 👌.

Yelp
Awesome concept: board game and cocktail bar built in what was a funeral home. The decor is fantastic, the food and drinks menu has plenty of options, and there's an almost endless selection of board games. Great for groups of all sizes. The people who work here seem to really enjoy it as well. Parking can be difficult, but there is usually some street parking a block or two away.

Yelp
My friend and I came to this bar on a Friday and it was our first time. We had so much fun! It's a cute little spot with seating in different areas. It's $5 per person for unlimited games and they have all the oldie but goodies and games you've probably haven't even heard of but are so fun!! There's a bar and the drinks are delicious and the pizza is hot, crispy and delicious! If you're looking for something fun and unique to do, this is the place!

Yelp
This place is so awesome! Great food, fun games, welcoming atmosphere! I got the kimchi tots and the glizzy, so delicious! Everyone was so nice! Love the new location, everyone should come here!

Yelp
What a great place to exist with friends. 5$ per person per day to play as many board games as you want. They have great drinks (mocktails included), great pizza, and a great vibe. The front of the shop has board games for sale, and the back and downstairs is full of tables and people just being people together. What a great idea and place to be!

Yelp
this place is so much fun! i came here with a group of friends and we all had a blast. there is a large selection of games and the pricing is super reasonable. the drinks are well made and delicious and the bartenders are super friendly. the pizza was fine, a little small, but satisfactory. there is quite a lot of space owing to the downstairs area being open and the kitchen will bring your food out to you. i will absolutely be coming here again. be careful where you park your car when you come here though because we did get towed (it's our own fault)

Yelp
We had a great time here and will definitely be back. Very cheap night out doing what we love, board games

Yelp
The perfect date spot! I came here and got some pizza, drinks and played games till closing! No Land Beyond is such a fun spot with a HUGE array of games! Downstairs there are rooms people can reserve to play games and music. Upstairs is the collection of board games and card games, as well as tables and a bar. We had so much fun!

Yelp
I do not have enough good things to say about this place! The drinks are fun and delicious, always love a good Bog Grog (limit 2 per person :( ) The board game collections are extensive and fit every sort of table top gamer. The bartenders are all lovely humans. The store has different card games (Pokémon) and table top available for purchase as well as beautiful dice and other merch

Yelp
I have come here at least 5 times and each and every time I have a positively memorable experience. One of my fondest memories is getting together with college friends who I haven't seen since the toughest days of the pandemic and we got together to play boardgames in this cozy environment. Yesterday, I got friends together from near and far to catch up, play boardgames, and bond over time that has passed. The service is endearing and fantastic, the drinks are such fun themes and the pizzas are fresh and delicious! The staff, bartenders, and alike are kind, friendly, and helpful with any questions. If you haven't been before it's rather simple: pay your $5 entrance fee, play as many boardgames as you like, enjoy the delicious menu at the bar. The boardgame bar also has regular meets for boardgames, so it's a great place to meet and befriend people. The restrooms and clean and organized. Downstairs is quite spacious for larger parties. There is street parking available outside the venue.

Yelp
A fun concept/outing for board/card game aficionados or a group of friends just looking to try something new and interactive! How it works: 1. Pay $5 entrance fee per person upon entering. 2. In their library, there are shelves and shelves of different board and card games. Pick which games you want to play! 3. Find a table, grab a drink at the bar, and start playing! 4. When you leave, you can purchase games that you really liked from their store at the front (also the entrance). There's a limited number of tables inside (but there seems to be a lot of outdoor seating). When we went on a Saturday night, it wasn't very busy but the staff said it's usually pretty crowded in there. The staff was very friendly and helped us with recommending games and made a mocktail for my friend who wanted a non-alcoholic drink. We found street parking pretty easily (meters), but unsure if we were just lucky. Overall, a fun night and I walked away with a new game!

Yelp
Super cool hole in the wall. First of all, the name, can we just talk about how cool it is to have a place named after the best D1 weapon. Now, there's a fun drink menu, local pizza, and game rentals.

Yelp
It's been a couple years since I have followed up on reviewing NLB post-COVID-19 pandemic. The ambience is great. The game library is neat and organized. The store retail section is what I imagine for a professional boutique game shop. The employees have always been friendly and helpful, as well as the owner(s) when I once met them years ago. The bar serves some tasty pizza, and offers a decent array of beverages from alcoholic to nonalcoholic. While there are some good mock tails, there are some citrus flavored mock tails that were not so great. For instance, the bitterness in the Phony Negroni was overpowering all the other flavors in the drink. I also found it odd that the bartenders were not quick to clean table surfaces or offer to clean clear surfaces for occupied tables. Perhaps NLB employees have a different perspective on these factors, but the downsides are why I am downgrading the business to four stars. There are different areas to play board games and TCGs across the store. An adding touch to the store's ambience is that they display local artwork for sell. One observation I found admirable about the store is their encouragement of LGBTQIA+ inclusion. NLB has built strong brand equity, and they have a competitive advantage by offering table top gaming needs while also having a bar that prepares drinks and food. NLB's website offers a lot of information about their retail and services for customers. I strongly recommend this store for those passionate about games, fellowship, and socializing. The store is great for college students, friends, parties, and business gatherings. NLB is personally my favorite place to spend time, which says a lot on how much I value the business.

Yelp
This is a gaming wonderland. A bar, pizza, gaming lounge and mini store. You could spend an entire day here happily.

Yelp
No Land Beyond made our Christmas extra special. It was an exciting surprise to have a bag show up at our door the night before Christmas Eve that said "Do not open until Christmas" with an adorable Santa cartoon drawing. We had no idea who sent it and figured it must've been a local friend. It turned out my partner's brother ordered it from Colorado! And while No Land Beyond totally could've phoned it in since we were not the paying customer, they went way out of their way to go the extra mile. They hand wrapped the game and drew a freakin' DRAGON on it! What!? That's so awesome. The cocktail was in a really cool ornament-shaped container with a secure lid, and even after sitting in the bag for a day or so, tasted fresh, boozy and delicious. It was like magic, I don't know how they did it. Thank you guys so much for making our Christmas surprise extra special! Much love to you and yours during this unusual holiday season.

Yelp
Look, this spot is barely a four. It's a weak four at best. At best. The place is certainly cheap and everything you purchase is, appropriately, at that price point. There are games...for purchase or rent -- both options are great. The place is a little understaffed despite not a huge clientele but it's also exactly what you want: a board game bar with big tables (downstairs), drinks, and edible pizza. Edible.

Bella S.

Yelp
It was ok. The price to play games is good and had a decent selection, but the drinks were meh. They also don't allow substitutions on your pizza. Additionally, be warned that they won't take vertical IDs even if it's authentic / non-expired. It's "management protocol".

Yelp
This is such a cool place! It's a really beautiful space. Looking forward to the non-covid days when I can come and get a drink and play games here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They've got lots of games in stock, and everything was a reasonable price. They also do game rentals, which is a cool service. I ended up buying Tokaido and Wingspan, which are both games that I haven't been able to find other places and I'm super excited about playing. Looks like they have a good selection of local beers and liquors too. I'm SO glad that Baltimore has a board game bar like this.

Yelp
First time in, this game store, and bar surprised us eith its small pizza selection! Some of the best pizza we've had in Baltimore! Had the Figgie Piggie and the Hippie and both shown with fresh flavors!
