The Best Portland Restaurants Near Moda Center and Oregon Convention Center | Eater Portland

"Running to a Blazers game hungry, but don’t want to spend half a day’s pay on in-arena concessions? No Q’ No has the answers. This cart could probably get away with “good enough” tacos and other Mexican classics, but its supple tortillas are made fresh daily and the meats that fill them, like carne asada, pastor, and carnitas, are ample — don’t sleep on the mushroom filling, either. The cheese-filled gringa is the hungry fan-on-the-go’s best option. Note that N Q’ No is not open late, so this isn’t a bar crawl pit stop." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Google
The burrito was good. He did not skimp on the meat. Was glad to see he removed the black glove he was wore to handle money when he went back to handling food.

Google
Amazing! Just got the three partially fried rolled up things (sorry, I know there’s a real name for these!) with mushrooms/spinach. Best lunch ever!

Miranda Canilang

Google
Tacos were great! Seasoning was spot on and everything was fresh. Hot sauce was actually hot too! The shrimp in the shrimp tacos are massive and the birria is so tender. Al pastor was pretty standard.

Google
Tasty tacos! We ordered some vegetarian and pork tacos, guac and chips and it was all delicious. There is a good seating area by the truck so plenty of space to sit down and tuck in!

Google
Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Finally found my favorite spot close to work! Great service as well! 🙌🌮

Google
Had what might be the best torta I've ever had here! The prices are great, too!

Google
Tried the pastor and birria at the Portland Criterium and it was unreal! Hope to see them at more pop ups!

Google
Shrimp and steak tacos. Very normal. Not much meat on them for $3. Normally street tacos are nice and fat with plenty meat. Guy working have me strange energy and looks. So it didn't feel right in addition to the food not being awesome. I've had much better tacos. It was very basic.

Yelp
stumbled into this food cart & it was delicious! when we walked up there were quite a few people there. looked like it was a one man show! the quesatacos & consume were so good! sometimes quesatacos can be very greasy but these were perfect. consume was good too. a good spot to visit if you're craving mexican food!

Yelp
I have yet to order from this place and actually get what I ordered. I gave it another chance today and ordered some corn tortilla tacos with steak. I got flour tortillas fajitas, I think? They're not bad, again, it's just not what I ordered. I also asked for no onions and they're loaded with onions, that has also happened every time I've gone here. The guy doesn't really seem to care, you get what you get, just a heads up.

Yelp
Stumbled upon a large yellow truck and an absurd hunger for some al pastor tacos and was not let down. Some of the best Al pastor I've had hands down.

Yelp
It was extremely gooood, I had the enfrijoladas and honestly it was worth it. I will be returning.

Yelp
This was a life saver - had way too much to drink and woke up needing some birria and consome. It did not disappoint. The quesabirria tacos and birria burrito with the green salsa, made me want to come back for dinner. The service was great and accommodated my incoherent ramblings and additional request for more birria tacos at the last minute. The taco truck location has some benches around but if it's rainy you may need to pickup and take home. Highly recommended for some great flavors!

Yelp
Damn good street tacos! I can't vouch for anything else on the menu - but the tacos alone will bring us back. We moved from LA and are always on the hunt - look no further. The tostada looked amazing too. Will def be back!

Yelp
I love street tacos. I've been stopping here for years, always good. They may have a new chef- today each taco was way better than good.
google avatar

Yelp
Yum! I got a califlower taco, mushroom spinach and a shrimp. All outstanding! Lots of flavor and very fresh! Not like most mexi food carts...

Yelp
Got myself a few tacos from here. They're good, not perfect. I will be forever looking for that authentic, Mexican street taco.

Yelp
This has to be one of the worst burritos I have ever had. I ordered the pastor burrito. It looked hopeful because of its size. The meat filing was not tasty at all. The meat was to fine and way to much onion. The beans and rice were ok. I didn't know it came with guacamole. It should have been on the menu board. I ate about 3 bites and threw it out. Waste of money!

Yelp
I just want to say that I've had the best Beef Birria burrito in my life at this place. I grew up in LA, lived in Mexico and been to dozens of quiceñeras and weddings with beef birria. I am surprised that this place had such good Mexican food in Portland.

Yelp
I was so happy when this truck opened, it replaced the amazingly lackluster Gyro truck and has made the neighborhood a better place for it. The owner who mans the helm used to work at Tamale boy and makes some amazing food. The pastor and birria are some of the best in town, his fresh made tortillas are amazing, and the guacamole is so fresh and delicious! Highly recommended to everyone! Go support this amazing taco truck!

Yelp
Amazing. This little truck is super legit. Very authentic Mexican food. This is not the Californian style Mexican food that is typically drowned in heaps of salt and cheese. This place is all about deliciously seasoned and simmered meats, fresh made beans and well crafted plates. The tacos are tasty, the tortas are fantastic and the burritos are big and perfectly balanced in the quantities of each ingredient. Everything here is made with love and pride. Will be my new lunch spot for sure. Oh! They also have nice clean picnic tables to sit at and enjoy the sunshine!!

Yelp
I've had way better and less greasy. I ordered a quesadilla and tacos the tortilla was soaking in grease the meat was tough and flavorless. I really wanted to like this place since its right up the street from where I work. It's expensive in comparison to others. Won't be back!
google avatar

Lexi S.

Yelp
They have veggie tacos, 1) Mushroom & Spinach, and 2) Cauliflower. I wanted 1 of each but sadly, they were out of Cauliflower. The Mushroom & Spinach tacos were good but no cheese---I'll go again, and ask for cheese! Bring cash, they charge .50 cents for using a credit card (for my meal, that's 10% interest over what visa charges them in merchant fees, better return rates than a bank!---haha). Very nice patio to sit out on and it wasn't very busy at lunchtime at all. I'll definitely go back.

Yelp
Food came out quickly but it was not good. Dining companion and I tried four lackluster meat tacos and two vegetarian tacos. The veg ones (which I ate) were greasy and underwhelming. The side of beans was fine. Overall there are much better places to get tacos

Yelp
Everything is amazing here and authentic ! The owner is super friendly and the tortas are better than anything I've had even in Mexico !
google avatar

Yelp
A little off the beaten path but totally worth it. These are some of the best tacos I've had. Delicious, just spicy enough. The flavors are out of this world.
google avatar

Jules C.

Yelp
Grew up in Texas and I haven't been able to find very good tacos up here but No Q No's taco is probably one of the best I've ever had. I recommend the Tinga de Pollo
google avatar

Amalie U.

Yelp
This guy is kicking out some killer tacos. The birria and al pastor are out of this world! Everything on the menu is simple yet flavorful, and folded up into freshly made tortillas. Have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time on this patio crushing tacos once the weather gets nice! So glad he's in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Great al pastor tacos and guac, lunch was 10 bucks including tip. What more could you ask?

Olivia K.

Yelp
Authentic, no frills, affordable house-made tortillas, bursting with flavor! What more can you ask for in a taco truck? I had two of the tinga de pollo tacos and they left me wanting more! Everything tasted so fresh and the service was very fast. Also has a cute sitting area outside the truck. I will definitely be back. The proximity to the Portland rock gym will make this a post-climbing tradition. Don't forget to try the hot sauce, so delicious!
google avatar

Ashley K.

Yelp
I had no idea this truck had just opened - which is impressive haha. Usually you can tell when businesses are just working their kinks out but damn - this guy knows how to make tacos. I had one shrimp and one al pastor. Some of the tastiest in town for only two bucks and some change. Great service (brought me my tacos into Cider Riot), tasty AF tacos (left me wanting more but then he closed) and awesome prices. I WILL be back. Bien hecho paisa!
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
Pastor burrito was delicious! Price is a dollar more than elsewhere but located close to my employer. The addition of black beans over pinto is a great choice and gives it a nice mix of flavors. Service was fast and the sauces are excellent. Will be back
google avatar

Esme B.

Yelp
Good Mexican food, however way over priced! You can find better tacos for much less somewhere else.
google avatar

Terry D.

Yelp
Really good Mexican burritos etc. I love the barilla beef something I've never had which is like a slow cooked triple Chile skirt steak, with lime and homemade guacamole, pico de Gallo. Also offers homemade tortillas, Mexican coke and more! I love it.
google avatar

Yelp
Food poisoning. Enough said. Our food came out not-very-hot and we joked that we were living on a prayer. That night the one of us who had mushroom & spinach tacos was shivering and sick- very sick. No details needed but yeah, we don't recommend it.
google avatar

Toby R.

Yelp
Great tacos, huge burrito. If I get another burrito would probably ask for less or no rice because it was almost too filling.

Aron H.

Yelp
I've probably eaten over 20 burritos from here. They're big and always tasty. The guy that runs the truck is cool and always quick to get your food out. I've seen a few people on here complaining about the prices, but 8 bucks for a big ass delicious ass burrito is not bad at all, so pipe down losers!
google avatar

Gryer H.

Yelp
I work in the area and was super exited to see a taco truck move in. I think I got my hopes up a little too high. It's not terrible but everything tastes the same and it's expensive, 8/9 bucks for a burrito
