The atmosphere was very sexy, inviting, comfortable yet a great place for a little black dress date night. The food... Chef's kiss! Baby those scallops and risotto were SEASONED and cooked to absolute perfection! The service was impeccable...I wish I could remember the man who served us, he was amazing!

We liked it so much we went back the next night! We were in town for a work conference and went out to dinner for our son's birthday. It was a wonderful evening. We had the filet mignon and the elk (which I highly recommend). Both our waiter Russell and the general Manager Reza were super accommodating! The restaurant was quiet and relaxed. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The next time we are in Novi, we will be back! I recommend the filet mignon, elk, brussel sprout side dish and for dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake (worth every calorie) and our son LOVED the sorbet.

I visited No. Six Prime to celebrate a birthday. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. The server was okay-but what I did not like was that he charged me for a dessert that I did not request. At the top of the evening, he inquired about the occasion for our visit. I told him we were there for a birthday. He politely said happy birthday and eventually took our orders. He served our appetizer, drinks, and food shortly thereafter. We ate and when he cleared our table, he brought a cheesecake. The birthday girl doesn't like cheesecake. But since he brought it, and because we thought it was complimentary, she decided to try it anyway. I happen to like cheesecake, so it wasn't going to go to waste. However, my bill showed a $15 dessert that I had NEVER asked for in the first place. I didn't make a fuss over it once I saw the bill, but while the food (and dessert) was pretty good overall-that misstep by the server left a bad taste in my mouth.

We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation, we were greeted by a beautiful hostess. We were sat in an outside corridor to wait on a table, then brought in to a lobby to wait 20 past our reservation for a table that was ready for us before time. Then, I placed an order, was told they didn’t have that, he took my next order went away for 5 minutes and returned informing me they didn’t have that either. So we left after sitting for 50 minutes. Rough end to a rough day

Google
I’ve been here twice now and it’s been the same experience both times. The food was absolutely incredible. Some of the best filet I’ve had. But the service just isn’t steakhouse service. Very slow and not as hospitable as most steakhouses. I hate leaving any sort of negative review.. but again the food is amazing, just the service that’s lacking.

Google
Upon arriving we were greeted by multiple people, promptly shown to our seats and had wait service waiting for us to sit down to order our drinks! Food was delicious! Steaks cooked perfectly to our liking. Presented beautifully, and portions big enough for leftovers. While enjoying our meal we were approached by the executive chef to get feedback on how we were enjoying our meal. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent experience and atmosphere. 5stars!

Google
We had a family gathering and catered meal here. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed cocktail shrimp, roasted Brussels sprouts, charcuterie board for appetizers, choice of Caesar salad or house salad, entrees were filet mignon or pork chop or king salmon. Each choice was cooked perfectly and delicious! The dessert were either flourless chocolate cake or New York style cheesecake. We were happy with our food and recommend this venue!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite steak places. The old location is much better than the new one by the hotel, but I still like it the steaks are fantastic Service is always excellent. It feels like a nicer restaurant when you're inside too. I do wish they get a better location, however. It's quite expensive.

Eric K.

Yelp
The service here is top notch! From being greeted when you enter throughout your whole dining experience. The ambiance is definitely romantic and more formal attire. The food itself was very flavorful.

Nick K.

Yelp
Started with a salad which was a nice selection of fresh ingredients. The rolls were hot with crunchy crust and topped with seeds. I could have eaten two more, but decided to save room for the main course. The filet had a nice crust on the outside and medium rare in the center. Could tell that it was top quality and came with zip sauce. The only negative was the potatoes that were over seasoned with rosemary. Very enjoyable evening accompanied with a caring wait staff.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Seems a bit odd to have such a high end restaurant connected to a hotel though. They were very conscientious about my food allergy. This place is a bit pricey and everything is a la cart .

Yelp
Today was my first time dining at this establishment. Our reservation was at 7:15, the rest of our party arrived an hr later and we ordered. Our meal did not arrive till 9:49 10 minutes before closing, food we ordered was out of stock so we had to change orders. the manager on staff came out a few times to apologize. I was looking forward to dining here and was extremely let down by the service this evening. The restaurant is empty and I am here with my table. My food is good but my others in my party had lobster tails that were not fully cooked as evidenced by the fishy taste. the unfortunate incident reduced the experience and I won't be returning for dinner in the future.

Dillon F.

Yelp
Coordinated a business dinner here back in Feb 2024 with some of my colleagues that were traveling from Japan and one of our suppliers. I will say outright that the food was incredible. Probably some of the best I have ever had at an upscale restaurant which is a segment that I don't frequent. The service was the biggest disappointment and truly made the experience lackluster. Our waiter was young, probably around 18 years old, and for an expensive business meal with an 8 person party I would have expected better service for sure. Professional demeanor was not there, he was not knowledgeable about the menu or drinks, and a few times he was hovering nearby loudly cursing about forgetting to bring something out. All these are things I wouldn't normally mind but being that I chose this location for our business dinner it seemed to reflect badly on my choice. There was also a large party in the back that I bet had the more seasoned servers assigned to it leaving us with newer staff.

Robert R.

Yelp
Service comparable to Denny's, food comparable to T.G.I. Fridays, and prices comparable to Morton's Steak House; what's not to hate. Truly, from the botched reservation to the absolutely clueless wait staff to the over seasoned, unsavory food and abysmal ambiance, this place is a nightmare. Avoid it completely.

Robert M.

Yelp
Ate the ribeye, mushroom risotto, salt encrusted potato, truffle fries, and calamari. The steak cook was the most perfect cook I've had in years. The seasoning on everything was perfect, we never touched the salt and pepper. Portions sizes were large, we got two meals out of ours.

Joshua M.

Yelp
Dined here for a late dinner with my wife since we were staying at the hotel attached. The overall ambiance was nice but since it was a bit dark they have lighting at each table. They use very tacky fluorescent lit lamps instead of candles at each table which doesn't match the warm lighting throughout the rest of the establishment. This took some getting used to but was not a huge issue. I started with a glass of wine and shrimp cocktail. The large shrimp were about as fresh as you can expect in Michigan and quite good but the house made cocktail sauce was underwhelming and closer to ketchup than a true cocktail sauce with horseradish. I ordered a bowl of mushroom bisque next. While the mushroom bisque had a good flavor, it was overly salty and I had to ask for bread to go along with it. I also needed to drink multiple glasses of water just to finish this soup due to the salt content. My wife had the French onion soup which tasted great but the gruyere cheese was done more than heavily on top. Next I had the Caesar Salad. This had a good tasting Caesar dressing and there was a perfect amount of dressing on each bite. The croutons were excellent but was disappointed with only one and a half small pieces of anchovy on the salad since it was advertised to have it on the menu. The parmesan crisp looked nice on the side but was very stale. So far I was not very impressed, especially for the price, but the Pan-Seared Sea Bass entree completely changed my experience here. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, flaked nicely, and melted like butter in each bite while still maintaining a subtle crisp from the outside sear. The lime artichoke glaze on the sea bass was excellent and the fish paired nicely with the cilantro lime rice and wild mushroom medly. Not pictured is the giant slice of carrot cake we ordered to go that my wife and I very much enjoyed. Our waitress Leya M made the experience great and her service was exceptional, which made up for the coldness of the hostess when we arrived and the host when we left. Overall I could see myself dining here again in the future if staying at the hotel for a special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant, specifically for the sea bass.

Rod D.

Yelp
The ambiance says a lot about a place and it did not disappoint. The area looked like a high scale place and you feel that with the entryway that smelled deliciousness. The menu fully complimented the ambiance with upscale items which were delicious. I ended up getting the lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection. The steaks that my party ordered were also really good. The selection of drinks supplemented the food selection

Brooke B.

Yelp
One of the beat steak houses i have been too! Great service as well! Food was amazing!

Marlin A.

Yelp
Beautiful steak house. Excellent food. Went for Valentine's Day. Dinner with my wife and the service was beyond excellent and could not be more friendly. Great drink selection. The crabcakes were to die for and of course we went with steaks and they were just mouthwatering delicious.

Nicole E.

Yelp
I called the host to see if we needed a reservation, he told us we wouldn't need one tonight. He seated us today. Erik is waiting on us. We ordered two mushroom bisques, a Mediterranean chopped with sautéed scallops over the top and a classic Caesar with sautéed scallops, Parmesan truffle wedges. The mushroom bisque is creamy and quite yummy. Some hard herb in my soup bowl. The garlic rolls are so-so, wasn't carb worthy to me. Our gigantic wedges were out on a skillet. Fries would have been preferred. Wedges were skin on and we're definitely crispy, but not my jam. Fries are king with truffle fries. Some BBQ sauce would have made the wedges more palatable. Forgot my scallops or rather it wasn't audible while I asked during the ordering process. Eric had the back kitchen make me 2 scallops for my salad. The chopped salad was okay, not too special, dressing was basic. The feta was small tidbits and sparse. Maybe better if the dressing was on the side, as the lettuce leaves were rather wilted by the time it reached me. The scallops on their own were decently seasoned, but were a tad too salty for me. Bill is $87.98.

Yelp
This is the place! The service was spectacular, food was amazing and I loved the dark, date night type ambiance with dimmed lighting and very low noise. We stumbled upon this place when we had to find something quickly because we were now starving (See review on Toasted Oak Grill & Market fiasco) We ordered the Prime Crab Cakes, Caesar Salad and Burger with a side of Charred Broccolini. All were noteworthy, except I wasn't a huge fan of the steak fries, but that's just me in general. Although, my husband said they were wonderful!

Mariah M.

Yelp
Steak was good. Seasoned nicely. Corn and macaroni was amazing! The oysters were fresh and really good. The atmosphere was really nice. The mashed potatoes were also good. The wait staff was really friendly and helped the table confidently and quickly. The worst part were the fruit flies that were such a disturbance that we asked to be moved.

Corina M.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in a hotel so you have to walk through it find it. We had reservations, although I don't think you need it, because it was dead for a Friday night. The restaurant is fancy, white table clothes and dark lighting. The food was absolutely incredible! I had the elk chops which was the first time I've ever had elk chops. They were so tender and not gamey at all. The sides were all incredible. I also ordered an old fashion was also incredible! I would definitely come back here for a special occasion. I'm honestly shocked that it was so slow. More people need to try this place!!!

Mike E.

Yelp
Went w friends as we were all working the boat show .... Not busy on a Friday and easy to get a table which is not a good sign. The drinks were amazing . We highly recommend the jalapeño martini though ask for a bit less lime . The margaritas are also very very tasty. The seafood tower was the hit of the night and should have been our entree .loaded with shrimp crab legs lobster tails and oysters. We devoured it amongst the 4 of us. The entrees is where our meal was lacking. Ordering tuna figuring to get a nice thick rare tuns steak it came thin , overcooked and caked in sesame seeds. The accompanying sauce came out of a bottle or tasted like it . Very disappointing tuna meal. The scallops did look amazing , but the steaks Ho hum, not the quality you'd expect and not the medium rare we ordered. Our server was great but chophouses on the west side like Bowdies and Finns are much better in ther red meat quality

Chris G.

Yelp
Definitely worth checking out. Tonight was a slow night, but the service and food were definitely spot on.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
I called months ago for a reservation to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I was told to call 48 hours before our reserved date to confirm the number of people coming. So I called 48 hours ahead like I was told to do and they didn't have our reservation! The woman on the phone just said sorry and didn't really care. We were left scrambling for a place to celebrate my parents anniversary with less than 48 hours. Thankfully we were able to find somewhere that would work with us and a party our size at the last minute.

Frederic Sulak ..

Yelp
Excellent food Service was good The quality has been maintained post COVID which is good news

Kortney B.

Yelp
The atmosphere was beautiful. Very romantic, quiet. The crab cakes were good however not enough of a binder was used. They fell apart as soon as you touched it. It made it messy. We spent too much time trying to pick up the darn thing to really enjoy it. Sea bass - dry / small. Seasons 52 has a way better Sea bass My fillet mignon was tender but lacked flavor. It just tasted like a piece of beef. Au gratin potatoes were just cheese no flavor The limon cake lord it was flavorless Our drinks were nasty IMAGINE that smh Basically I wAsted $588 on dinner for my moms birthday. Truly a waste of money. The time we sent together was the best part of the night. I'm only giving the two stars because of the atmosphere Go to ocean Prime or somewhere else

Amethyst W.

Yelp
This restaurant is attached to the Sheraton, and shares the parking spaces in front and on the side. It's kind of tricky to get to it because you do have to go through the different shopping plazas parking to find it. I think I always give places more stars and they deserve because when I have dinner with good company it makes the food tolerable the night fun. If it were just the food itself, I'm not sure it would get this many stars. We got the scallops, which were incredibly salty. The elk which was incredibly gamely. The filet already came with sauce and they didn't tell us when ordering extra sauce for an additional $12. Asparagus was so incredibly dry and disgusting. It was not even edible for $12. The potatoes were decent in flavor, but not fully cooked under the cheese layer. The service was slow and not really existent. We wanted water refills so badly, but they never came around. Like anything else, when you pay these prices you expect either decent food or decent service. So for 4 people, our bill came to $420 (plus tip)! This was not worth it at all. We really didn't get decent service or food either. We were just lucky we were with good company so that night was enjoyable.

Mike K.

Yelp
Steaks are wet-aged which you don't have everyday but were spectacular! Great drinks A solid old school bar A great experience and night out for something more formal or biz din

CrazyforMakeup M.

Yelp
My husband had an Open Table reservation for our wedding anniversary. We arrived 4min prior to our 7pm reservation on Dec30. Upon arrival, the host told us that our Open Table reservation never transferred to his system. I had to pull the website to show we were confirmed but despite all that the host was so indifferent and insensitive to my situation and said the best he could do was to sit us in a 'private dinning room' which turned out to be near the bar! There was nothing 'private' about that since another party gathering was happening there. We accepted to sit at the table near the bar, but my husband's wine glass was smudged and dirty ... gross...! The waiter was the guy at the bar, friendly but at that point, the smell of chlorine from the hotel pool was very prominent and my romantic anniversary dinner was completely ruined, and for the first time, I asked my husband to leave. My advice to anyone going here is to specifically request a table at the back of the room away from the entrance and the chlorine smell and call before to make sure Open Table reservation has been transferred over. Also, inspect glasses and silverware and know that the host was terrible but looks like the rest of the staff was worth a try.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Arranged a private company dinner. Restaurant is located in the Four Points Sheraton in Novi. Sharp looking restaurant and we were seated right away. We had a pre-fix menu and had as our app option, Shrimp cocktail, Brussels sprout and a Charcuterie board. It was all delicious, the shrimp were massive and meaty. I has the butternut squash soup (only GF option) and it was soooo good, the toast pumpkin seeds made the whole dish! Each of us order a steak. I had the ribeye cooked medium rare and it was perfection. Service was amazing and I would not hesitate to return.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Had a very nice valentines dinner here, Seated a little before our reservation at five. Very friendly and efficient waitstaff. Calamari was crunchy and the sauce was a little spicy but not overpowering. The lamb chops were like butter, good texture on the outside as well. My filet was cooked as I asked, lots of flavor, they ask what you would like with your steak, I chose mushrooms. Lobster was good, came with butter. The only issue was I wish the lobster was a little bigger so I could get to it easier. The mashed potatoes are fantastic too, I'm not even a huge fan of mashed potatoes. We typically don't drive out that far for just a meal but they made it worth it

Brianna F.

Yelp
The food was amazing and so was our service. We were very shocked with how dirty the silverware and the glasses were though, there were lip stick marks on both my boyfriends and my glass, but we didn't want to be those people so we just let it be. Its connected to a hotel which we didn't know so we drove in circles a few times lol. It's a very dim restaurant which we love!!

Kathy M.

Yelp
Place was bussin literally sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good

James H.

Yelp
Exceptional experience with the highest quality cuisine. Beautiful atmosphere and great wine selection. Had an event in their private dining room, perfect for business and holiday parties. Truly the best Steakhouse in the area. If you haven't tried it you are missing out.

Matt C.

Yelp
Incredible food. Oysters and fois was great. Elk chops perfectly cooked. Paul was awesome. Chef needs a better location. Food will embarrass any high end steak house across the country.

Michael H.

Yelp
I downloaded this app just to leave this review. From the beginning we met Mr personality at the door who sat us. 7:45 reservations we are leaving at 10 And Full disclosure this bill was over $600 with tip. Order included seafood tower, filet, elk chops and water with a couple drinks. The seafood tower was absolute trash. They cut a window in the side of the shell for no reason. There was a fly in the ice. The oysters were old and sour. Elk and filet were very good everything else was absolutely terrible.

Phil B.

Yelp
I found this place doing a random search, after Bone Fish was unable to seat us. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was very nice and the space was quite intimate. My only issue is the parking lot. The drive up is horrible. If they repave the lot and add more parking, it would be excellent.

Paul M.

Yelp
Outstanding meal and service. Ben our waiter was awesome and honest about menu selections. The whole experience was perfect. This place will be my go to spot.

Lauren D.

Yelp
My mom and I went to the Mother's Day brunch last year. It was absolutely wonderful. The chef even made my mom a gluten free dessert because there were no gluten free options. This year it was absolutely terrible and wasn't even worth $15 a person. All the pastries were about as good as GFS. The food was hard as a rock and dry there was no fruit no vegetables. It was honestly a rip off. We didn't even finish our plate. A continental free breakfast at the best western would've been more satisfying. There was honestly nothing worth eating at this buffet. The manager was incredibly rude and I reached out to them and they never responded. Terrible customer service. Instead of rectifying the situation they just ignore it.

Matthew D.

Yelp
My experience here was fantastic. The service was spot on perfect as was everything we ordered. It rare to get and end to end perfect experience, but that was certainly the case here. I find hard to believe some of one stars are the same restaurant. Personally I don't think this is the place you come when your in a rush, but to forget about work, relax in a nice environment free of excessively loud patron, and let someone else worry about everything for you. i have no doubt however the staff would cater to any reasonable request to include. As this place was just purchased and the new owner saved the jobs of numerous people, I hope it succeeds. Its hard to find quality dining experiences.

Greg H.

Yelp
I was hoping for good things at this place. It's a nice location in a good hotel with a nice ambience. I give it three stars because of the location, ambience, and the very nice people who work here. Kathy at the bar is particularly cheerful, nice and attentive to detail. However, the food is not near up to the pricing and expectations of this restaurant. First try, only person dining, they burn my filet. Took and hour for the food. Second try, went with salmon, it was grossly undercooked, except the skin. I already had sushi for lunch. Again, great potential, nice people and an apologetic (for one night), understanding GM. Looks like the kitchen could use some thorough work though.

Leah K.

Yelp
We actually ordered from No. Six Prime on Doordash, which I was hesitant to do because I hate to let fine dining food travel 15-20 minutes, but it was my daughter's birthday and she didn't want to expose herself to Covid. She ordered the lamb chops and I got the Motor City Strip and we got a side of whipped potatoes. Somehow, the food arrived warm, which is amazing considering mashed potatoes at home get cold between the stove and the table. Both entrees were delicious, cooked just as requested (rare for the lamb chops, medium rare for the strip steak) and came with a green vegetable, a side of zip sauce (I think--I didn't actually try it) and a delicious hunk of crusty bread with whipped butter. I think we've found our go-to celebration restaurant.

William M.

Yelp
We made reservations for my sister's birthday and showed up on time. The host said our table would be ready in five minutes or so even though he pointed to our table which was clean and set. He said we would have to wait by the hostess stand. I had the brilliant idea of going to the bar for a drink while we waited. Not the host. Approaching the bar the bartender just looked at me as I sat down. "Hey, how are you doing?" I greeted him. He snapped out of it and turned out to be very nice. After our drinks we went to our table ... Calamari F- Wedge salad D- Michigan salad D Wedge potatoes C Mac N Cheese B+ Porterhouse steak B Crème brûlée C- Server was nice and helpful. Everything with a few drinks was, over $400 not including tip. Way over priced for what you get. Never again!

Tasha F.

Yelp
Excellent staff and food ....the atmosphere was very cozy ,fun but also private ~ the bartender was amazing

Mike M.

Yelp
Russell should NOT be a waiter at a $300 (for 2) establishment, he would be better served with the title of bartender at a local corner bar. He lacks the personality, congeniality and patience required in an establishment of your caliber we both characterized him as "salty", not my brother. The lobster and fillet were phenomenal but if we do come back we're going to ask for someone other than Russell to be our waiter.

Daron S.

Yelp
Had such a great experience coming here for dinner! We tried a bit of everything, all of it amazing - the lambchops and bread pudding were soooo good and the wine list goes on for days. Our waiter was great and the head chef, Bryan, is the best in town. Coming back ASAP!

Noor A.

Yelp
Litterally best restaurant ever, staff is so nice and the food is amazing. The steak is always made to perfection and is unlike steak anywhere else. The sides are MASSIVE and it's beautiful on the inside very romantic or calm 10/10 :)

Valerie D.

Yelp
Nice fancy restaurant with good food! They were out of boneless ribeye so we had to order the bone in. It was cooked nicely. Flavor was good. We also got calamari (nice dipping sauces it comes with), Caesar salad, carrots (had a nice bite too and I really liked the sweetness), au gratin potatoes, Mac and cheese and bread pudding which tasted just like a really good French toast! My only complaint is that the calamari portion was smaller than most restaurants and my Mac and cheese did not have any bread crumbs as promised on the menu. The bread crumbs really help set the Mac and cheese over the top. Also the food came out a bit slow considering we were the absolute only people in the restaurant (Thursday evening close to closing time on a snowy night). There seemed to be plenty of employees, actually too many for such a slow evening. So I can't imagine how long the food would take to come out on a busier weekend night.

Leron H.

Yelp
This place was amazing me and my wife came here randomly for dinner and not only was the food amazing but the service was above and beyond thank you Paul and Tony for all that you do!

Judy W.

Yelp
Nothing but nice things to say about the No. six chophouse. It is located in a hotel , but you would not be able to tell when inside. My husband and I have been coming in frequently for date night and the staff and food keep us coming back for more. On our last trip , I brought my family with me and had such a positive experience. All the wait staff were so joyful and the host is always so friendly and greets us immediately. Brandon was our waiter, and was nothing but helpful because my daughter has never been here and he gave her so many good suggestions.

Adriano V.

Yelp
I'm not much of a review writer but this place is trash. I started off with a frozen fly that was trapped in an ice cube in my water. Should have been the first flag for me. Got the seafood tower and it was terrible. 2 king crab legs that were good, two lobster tails that were undercooked, 8 shrimp that weren't cleaned, and old oysters that smelled awful. This seafood tower was $312, absolutely ridiculous. I will say the filet was pretty good.

Benjamin P.

Yelp
The resturant is very nice. Service is great. The food is even better. Fargo braised rootbeer short ribs and steaks are amazing. The tomahawk was simply amazing. My friend got the a5 wgyu and she loved it.

Mara T.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at No. Six Prime with my friends. The lobster cavatappi & cheese was my favorite - perfectly cooked and so yummy with the truffle oil. The head chef was friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great experience Bryan and No. Six Prime! Definitely coming back again soon.

Bob W.

Yelp
Wonderful food and excellent service. Thank you for a great evening! Great to see Tony back, he brings a level of excellence back to Novi. Great chops, scallops and martinis!
