"Old Shoreditch Station Coffee Shop is much more than just a coffee shop. The shop converts into a bar in the evenings and features a food menu, but more interestingly, it serves as a space where artists can exhibit their work and music fans can catch a gig. The venue is sponsored by Jaguar Shoes Collective, an affiliation of businesses and individuals working toward promoting local art, including visual and musical offerings. The space also serves as a place for product line launches and is a prime spot for people watching in the bustling Shoreditch district in London’s East End." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

This little coffee shop is so conveniently located in Shoreditch, but the main reason I love it is because it stayed open until 1am on Wednesday nights. As a student, it is difficult to find late-night coffee shops in the city that were easy to reach. Yes, it's a dimly-lit & very date-y vibes place, but I write papers on my laptop screen so the lack of light didn't bother me. And most people there on a Wednesday night aren't looking to get smashed, so it wasn't too distracting. It's quite spacious and has good art on the walls & kind baristas.

the perfect mixture of a relaxed atmosphere after work with nice music selection. Good coffee while watching people in this lively area, a neverending succession of characters. Ideal to catch up and have the first cocktail of the night, or alternatively a quick lunch if you get early. Inspiring.

I went here for a date and the experience couldn't have been lovelier. Great coffee and decent selection of beers. The Italian bartender was one of the nicest people I've met here in a cafe and we made friends to the point where we requested music from him :D Great place to hang out, chill or indeed go for a date!

I like my pubs like I like my jazz: old and more hip than a beatnik on a coconut diet. I really don't know what I was going for with that, but it sounds good and invokes exactly the sort of imagery I'm aiming for. The Old Shoreditch Station is austere, yet undoubtedly cozy and inviting. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Draught selection is a little slim, but you'll find a small selection of great local craft bottles behind the bar. Cocktails are quite good and won't set you back nearly as much as they will in other local haunts. Coffee and tea are also on offer, but depend entirely on the bar staff/barista. The coffee is sometimes great, sometimes alright, but always does the trick. While you'll have a great time here with friends, the atmosphere and coziness make for a great date destination. Having a great date? The corner view of a busy intersection offer great opportunities to jointly poke fun at passersby. Should your date take a turn for the worse, well, at least you can handily distract yourself. Whatever your reasons, if you're looking for a good drink and great atmosphere in Shoreditch, you can't go wrong here.

A really relaxed and friendly cafe and coffee shop with a unique aesthetic. Converted from the Old Shoreditch station (as the name implies) this place has kept a lot of the design and decor from the train station it once was. You can get excellent quality Allpress Beans coffee here for a decent price and they also offer a selection of food for lunch and bites to eat. Good for groups and hanging out with friends. In the evenings, it turns into a cocktail bar where it's alcohol and cocktails instead of coffee and tea.

I was overcharged and the bartender didn't seem to know what tea was, even though it is on the menu. Interior is kinda cool though

A recent change in management has ruined this amazing spot! There used to be amazing coffee, fresh food, a friendly staff, and was the perfect place to go for a drink or work a few hours. Now just mediocre coffee store bought concessions and just a generic café vibe. For some reason they also thought adding TVs in the café was a good idea...

Great location, delicious coffee, nice vibe. WiFi is pretty good as well. I like to go here to do some work and have a cappuccino or chai latte (the best!). My only advice is don't go here to read/work after 5/6pm, as at this time they turn the lights low and the vibe is much more that of a bar. The whiskey selection is also supposed to be good, but I haven't really looked into it myself.
