Beautiful Temple! I spent the night here on my pilgrimage. Fantastic food. Nice staff (even a little English speaking). I even could take part at the evening ceremony. Anytime again!

Lovely temple and overall good temple stay. Bath was nice and food was pretty good. Standard price. Ceremony was short but sweet. I would recommend.

立江寺は「子安の地蔵尊」あるいは「立江の地蔵さん」との俗称で古くより霊験のあらたかなことで知られ、西国巡礼御詠歌集に高野山、善光寺などとならんで取り上げられている程に全国の善男善女の信仰の篤い名刹です。 天平19年（西暦747年）に聖武天皇の勅命により、光明皇后のご安産を祈願して建立された立江寺には、今も安産を祈願する人の姿が絶えません。 また『四国の総関所』として四国八十八ケ所の根本道場としても知られています。 JR立江駅からは徒歩１０分ほどで、有料の駐車場もあります。 寺はこじんまりした感じです。 色々と趣向を凝らしてイベントなどもされてます。

住宅街？の中にあるお寺でした。 まわりの道が少し狭いので注意が必要かもしれません。自分は山門のすぐ前の1台200円の駐車場に停めさせて頂きましたが、バイクだったので無料にして頂きました。 敷地内は広くなく、祝日にも関わらず参拝されている方たちが少なかったのですんなりまわれました。

29-5-2025 立江寺距JR立江站不到8分鐘步程，十分方便。十分安靜的小站。寺內環境清幽。下一站會回JR立江站，繼續乘車南下新野站，再步行至平等寺。
