"Occupying a house from the 1930s with a well-preserved façade in one of the most renowned parts of Ipanema. The decor here has been meticulously designed, from the unusual fabrics hanging from the ceiling to the Hebrew-inspired paintings on the walls. The cuisine is inspired by the coasts of the Mediterranean, and includes fish, seafood and fresh pasta with a Brazilian and international flavour. The extensive menu features options such as burrata di bufala with beetroot pesto and Grana Padano. Mains range from the vegan “moqueca” stew to the excellent fresh pasta served with shrimp and an oyster foam. We really had a poor meal her last night. I had filet mignon with spaghetti/pistachio pesto. The pasta was boxed pasta and well overcooked. The pesto was super oily. The filet very small and oversalted. My wife had shrimp with risotto… shrimp overcooked and risotto was just rice with sauce. Cheesecake dessert was unimpressive… standard stuff. Service was impeccable- great waiter.

Food tasted so fresh I had to check if it was still alive or not. Unbelievable culinary experience with beautiful setting and extremely respectful and polite staff. I hope this place stays open a long time it smashes the competition around it.

Really nice atmosphere, very friendly service and delicious food, really worth it! There was a mix up with drinks and they gave us extra ones with no charge. Also didn’t take too long to get a table. Good drinks and good food, big portions.

Stopped by very randomly while walking around. Food is exceptionally good, full of flavor and delicious. We pretty much couldn't decide which one we liked the most. Oh, and the dishes look good, too. Loved the service. Nothing snooty, just friendly, helpful people. Absolutely loved it. Everyone's mood markedly improved as dinner progressed, and everything was happy Rio is full of great food, and this one is on our top list.

Delicious food and very good service. Good, unusual drinks. We ate there twice during our stay in Rio de Janeiro and the second time we were not disappointed either. All the starters were delicious, the main courses too, although the tenderloin the first time was really exceptional. The meat melted in your mouth. The pasta in the main course was as good as in Italy.

Service was THE BEST we’ve had in rio, they took such good care of us thank you! Now let’s talk food, the steak tartar & tuna dish were great! The salad was just ok but the eggplant gnocchi was terrible, I read one of the reviews here raving about it so I think maybe we just got it done wrong by mistake this time. The gnocchi itself was overcooked almost like eating the consistency of mushy playdoo.
