Great food and presentation! We went in randomly and were very happy with our food. The fish was fresh and the tempura and katsu were fried just right. The staff was kind to us so we had a good time. Compared to Portland prices, this is good quality sushi with affordable price! I'll be bringing my family back for more items on their menu.

This service was incredible, and the sushi was amazing. They have some really unique roles. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. Everything was also beautifully plated, which would be a great date night location. They can be very busy during lunch, so I did make sure to get reservations, and the table was ready as soon as I got there.

Overall: 4.5/5.0 ________________________________________ *Food: 1. Agedashi Tofu & Kirimochi - Light batter on tofu and kirimochi, but enough to soak up the tempura sauce. - Kirimochi and tofu were both soft and chewy with a crispy exterior. - 10/10 2. Lobster Kara Age - Just what you would expect from Kara Age, crispy and juicy. Not too oily, not too much batter. - Yuzu mayo covers the oiliness of the fried lobster. Citrus sauce is not overwhelming. - 10/10 3. Sushi & Sashimi Combo (Sushi) - Excellent quality sashimi grade fish. No fishy aftertaste, rice was not overly sweet or salty and not overcooked. Fish slice size was larger and thicker compared to other restaurants. - 10/10 4. Sushi & Sashimi Combo (Sashimi) - Excellent quality sashimi grade fish. Hamachi was extra fatty and had amazing texture. Akami was not fishy at all, texture was great. - White fish on the side with yuzu sauce was a little fishy. Could improve, but overall an amazing dish with thick cut sashimi. Definitely satisfied expectations. - 8.5/10 5. Otoro Tuna Sashimi - Market price; reasonable price for the thick cut and quality. - Melts in your mouth, no fishy aftertaste. - Ordered after checking the fish quality from the sushi & sashimi combo. I had high expectations and the expectations were met. Great slices of fish. 10/10 ________________________________________ *Service: - Reservation was 6:30pm, but due to traffic, I arrived 15 minutes late. I had called in beforehand, which they kindly let us in despite the delay. Once seated and ordered at 7:00pm, pre-dinner sides, miso soup, and water were provided. Appetizers came out 10 minutes later, sashimi and sushi came out 10 minutes after the appetizers. Despite full seating, food came out fast, and of course with excellent plating and quality. Servers came around frequently to check on any needs. Overall, friendly servers, food quality is great. ________________________________________ * Atmosphere: - Overall very much satisfied. For the price of the items, quality and quantity was assured and tasted great. Restaurant was clean and quiet despite the full seating. Again, friendly servers and excellent food quality as well as fast serving time. Portland never really had great sushi/sashimi, but I definitely recommend coming here at least once, as the items I have ordered tasted great. Many liquor choices(wine, beer, sake, cocktails, etc.) and good choice of desserts as well. Would recommend if you dislike fish due to its fishiness since the sashimi and sushi here have no unpleasant aftertaste.

I came to NOA for lunch for the first time. It is located in the market place of Murrayhill, on the left side of Safeway. There are plenty of free parking lots. The interior of the store has a simple and modern feel. The staff at the restaurant are pleasant and the service is good. The lunch menu is on the last page and is only available for the weekday. I recommend the lunch specials menu for lunch because it's affordable and you can eat it a la carte. The bento box comes with salad, rice, miso soup, tempura, pickles, and more. In addition, I could choose two main dishes, so I chose three nigiri (additional $6) and tonkatsu. As shown in the photo, I couldn't finish the lunch box, but I was satisfied. I would like to recommend sushi here because the quality of the nigiri was good.

Such a precious add to the neighborhood! Food is always fresh and plating is lovely. The staff is awesome and works hard to make sure you are taken care of. Everything we’ve ordered tasted amazing. Highly recommended!

We stopped in for a late lunch and had the place to ourselves. The restaurant was clean, in a great location, and the service was quick and friendly. The food was outstanding. One of the best bento boxes I’ve had so far. The house sake was enjoyable, and the edamame was served hot and full of flavor. Prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back! If you’re in the Murray Hill area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Google
I visited this place for lunch and had an amazing experience. The bento lunch specials were really great. I especially appreciated that they had spicy tuna roll as an option at no extra charge. Many places include a California roll and charge extra to swap it out, so this was great to see. The tonkatsu was great as well, crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. I do have to say, the portions were a bit on the small side, wish it was a bit larger. The tempura was crisp and perfectly fried, and the bento also came with two pieces of gyoza, miso soup, and rice, making it a well-rounded meal. Service was prompt and friendly, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Glad we were able to find a really nice lunch spot. I’ll definitely be coming back more often and look forward to trying their sushi and rolls next time!

Yelp
The good: the service was good and they were attentive to if we needed more water + anything else. I especially liked their miso soup. We went on valentine's day and there was a line of people waiting for them to open at 5PM so although me and my pantna were underwhelmed, it looks like others seem to really like this place! The bad: I wouldn't say bad, just not impressed, especially for the price The Korean fried chicken looked amazing but I was extremely underwhelmed by the taste. I was hoping that it'd be better as left overs but I still experienced the same bland taste as when it was fresh. Despite being called sweet and spicy, the sauce lacked much of the spice that I was hoping for. Also, I wasn't a fan of how closely the two person tables were. I know the location is small but I felt no privacy as it felt like other customers sitting next to us were apart of our party wanting to get to know us + asking about the dishes we ordered, which isn't a problem but just a less intimate experience as I'd initially hoped for. The gyoza and the california rolls were great I won't give up on this place just yet!

Yelp
4.5 Simple decor and interior that is clean. Greeted and seated with a menu and cool wooden specials menu. Weekday lunch bento special for $18 is a steal so this was ordered (two sets) and the Murrayhill roll. It wasn't listed, all rolls come with 8pc unless stated differently. We got a trio of side dishes- edamame, mashed potato with peas, and konjac jelly. The Murrayhill roll was fresh and a nice start to our meal although we could not taste the spice from the spicy albacore. Our lunch bentos were brought out soon after and right away noticed the variety of tempura and quite a few more pieces. The spicy tuna also didn't have any spice to it. With time we noticed that the katsu breading was slowly falling off (kind of crumbly like), though still crispy and good. The salad was flavorful with the dressing and a large portion too. The nigiri was worth the extra charge- beautiful slices of fish, texture of rice and ratio of the fish to rice was perfect. The salmon teriyaki was also flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything was filling as we ended up having leftovers. The staff were great! Consistently checking in, giving recommendations, great service! Beautiful presentation and attention to detail when plating items. What a great gem in Beaverton!

Yelp
4.5 stars Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It was pretty packed for a Saturday lunch. It's very light and bright inside. We were promptly taken care of. We ordered the miso clam soup, west coast roll, the toro sampler, and the lobster karaage. We were served the roll and toro sampler first. The sushi was so fresh! Very great quality. The soup and lobster karaage came out after. I would have preferred my apps before the entree, but once I tried the apps, I had no complaints. Lots of chunks of seafood in the soup. The lobster was tasty, savory, and decently sized. The place is pretty pricey but the quality is fresh.

Yelp
We drove here on a Monday afternoon. They opened at 1130 and we arrived at noon. Shortly after we were seated it started to get very busy and a line formed. The staff were very friendly and attentive despite being very busy. We ordered the lobster karaage, spicy salmon on fried rice, hamachico roll, Tokyo roll, Denver roll and scallop and tuna nagiri. The rice had a hint of sweetness that I really enjoyed. All and all this is definitely worth experiencing.

Yelp
So I wish there was a reason for me to give my visit to NOA Sushi 2 or 3 stars. Something that was good about the visit, but sadly there isn't. Truthfully if zero stars was an option i would take that. This evening I went to Planet Fitness. I was in gym clothes and i decided that i wanted to try NOA before my workout, so I kept it light. I didn't want to be sweaty when I went to the restaurant. I did some light weights a little on the elliptical machine, did the full body spa experience, and did the massage chair. I left and drove up to the restaurant I entered at 8:25, was seated. The young woman gave me a quick overview of the menu at my request and i decided what I wanted quickly. I chose an albacore roll and the "Wow" Roll. I had already taken a few pics for this review, and was expecting to take pictures of the rolls as well. I ordered just before 8:30. I knew the restaurant closed at 9:30 and they seated me, so i thought I was good. I sat for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes...during this time multiple tables paid and left. The restaurant wasn't full when i arrived. I heard tables saying "Thank you so much, it was delicious." and "No change please, you can keep it." I was sitting patiently at my table with my little helping of wasabi and ginger to the side, scrolling through Reddit and ESPN.com waiting for my order. I wanted to get someone's attention but I didn't. It appeared as people were confused. After more than 35 minutes the young lady came back to my table. She said "I am sorry, we had a few orders in front of yours." I was flabbergasted. If someone would have come to the table and said that 15 or 20 minutes earlier. That could have been believed. If they accidentally lost my order, they should have admitted it, sucked it up and asked me what my order was. Instead I was upset before even getting any sushi. I apologized to the young lady, she was polite and nice and it most likely wasn't her fault. I however didn't feel like waiting any longer as they hadn't even started preparing my rolls. I got up and left. This experience confuses me. Was it because I was in gym clothes? If so they should have notified me of the dress code at the door. Was it because I was by myself and not with a larger group that would guarantee a large tip? I have no idea. You know why? Because nobody COMMUNICATED with me. I had better service at the Lake Oswego yesterday. I am highly disappointed with my (lack of) experience this evening @ NOA Sushi. Hopefully management will look into this and make sure it doesn't happen again. I am not planning on making a return visit.

Yelp
This sushi place is awesome. The vibes, service and decor is great. As you enter the place they welcome you and greet you with a smile. I went there with my friend since he is frequent and suggested that the food quality and freshness is great We ordered a lobster Karage, and I had this for the first time since I have had chicken Karage before but this was out of this world. The boys g lobster chunks were fried to perfection, and came with a creamy sauce. It was heavenly. One thing you have to try in this place that is OTORO, fatty tuna nigiri. It actually melted on the toinge. The quality of it was out of this world. We also indulged into a wild roll which was awesome. Overall the food is awesome and if you are an avid sushi fan the you must visit this place. The prices are little higher but again the quality of ingredients make everything better. I totally recommend this place.

Yelp
Cute and dainty place to visit on a sushi date! Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Food was delicious! Fish was very fresh and went well with the additional toppings provided. - Chirashi bowl has a very generous portion with a variety of fish. - Lunch bento tempura was a hidden winner, the batter was so light and crispy. Very nice and delicate! - Ramen was perfectly rich and noodles were cooked very well. - Salmon Poke was fresh and light. - Lobster Karrage was also a winner!! Loved the sauces that complimented the bites. Overall great quality and you get your moneys worth!!

Yelp
Environment: It's a new place and it was nice, clean, and it had nice lighting. Staff: very friendly and patient as they waited for the rest of our party to come. Food: the food was fresh and all but for me, compared with other Japanese restaurants nearby, this was $$$! Also, the rice was falling apart, they were not sticking together. I was surprised my tiny little west coast roll was $18! The menu was def. more on the expensive side. Could it be because that plaza's rent is more? I would go to another Japanese restaurant and eat the same kinds of rolls for $4-5 less.

Yelp
Great fresh sushi. They are a wonderful selection of sashimi, not only the basic like most sushi restaurant.

Yelp
Lovely staff, very welcoming and attentive. Deliciously fresh sashimi. Lobster karrage and the cod roe udon are both less common items that were amazing.

Yelp
The food and service at NOA is simply amazing! Tonight was my third time here and everything we have tried is so good that I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Today we tried a couple of appetizers and the golden roll and double crunch roll. I highly recommend both rolls. Don't pass up dessert. We tried the tiramisu and sorbet. Let me just restate how wonderful the service is. They take the time to describe the dishes and how they are prepared. It makes for a truly great experience.

Yelp
This spot has been open for 9 weeks and I had to try it! The restaurant was very quiet (volume-wise) and also not super busy, so it was a great dining experience. The staff were SO friendly and very attentive. All our food came out quickly and was delicious. We got three rolls: rainbow, west coast, and Murrayhill. All the fish was really fresh and high quality, and the flavors worked really well together. My favorite of the three was the Murrayhill roll - I loved the combination of the spicy albacore inside with the salmon, scallions, and ponzu sauce on top. The prices were reasonable for what we got, and we're planning to come back soon!

Yelp
From the outside it looks like the newest strip mall sushi restaurant, but the food and service are so much more. It's a small restaurant, but they do take reservations so that might be a good idea on the weekend. The servers are super friendly and happy to answer questions, so I had a sake recommendation for something sweet, but not too sweet. She brought me the Yuzu sake in a wine glass and omg, so good! It's fresh and crisp with the taste of lemon and orange, I might go back just for this! After you place your order they bring you a cute little dinner starter, ours had a pickled cucumber, a sweet piece of pumpkin and a few edamame just perfect to snack on while you wait for dinner. This is when it started to feel like we were at a date night spot instead of just a strip mall restaurant. In fact, most of the diners were dressed nicely although you can for sure just come in casual too. I think if they lowered the lights just a little after 7 pm it would be a perfect intimate date spot. The food comes out as it's ready, so the tuna sashimi came out first and I was blown away by the presentation! It arrived on a bed of ice with flowers, so beautiful, gives you the feeling you are someplace special. Next up was the Kobe beef appetizer which arrived warm, it was so tender and the sauce was amazing. Last was the sweet and spicy fried chicken that came with a bowl of miso soup and a bowl of rice. While the chicken is really more sweet than spicy it was some of the most tender chicken I have had in a long time! So much so that we had to ask our server to tell the kitchen, so yummy. The cost for dinner was about $70 which is a little high for our regular weeknight dinner, but a way better bargain than most date night restaurants. They have such a large menu I can't wait to come back and try some more items.

Yelp
I'm always on the hunt for a neighborhood favorite restaurant and I've found it at Noa Sushi. It has only been open two weeks but I found it to serve fresh, flavorful and really unique sushi rolls. The design aesthetic and vibe is also modern and minimalist, with great servers that always are checking in. We ordered the Kobe Beef Nagimaki, Hamichico, Wow Roll and Crispy Rice. The flames on the wow roll made for a really cool presentation and I found it to carry the smokiness flavor throughout. The hamachico was the table favorite, 10 out of 10. While the crispy rice was good, it was just a tad overdone but the flavor was nice. Both my son and daughter gave it a thumbs up. He event went the next day for lunch to try the bento and ramen which he also gave a thumbs up. I'm excited to try more at Noa-so happy it's 3 min drive away!

Yelp
I ordered 3 nigiri which they were unable to provide after 25 minutes. I had to leave. They were a little busy but still disappointing. Each Nigiri is $9. You be the judge.

cc l.

Yelp
The otoro nigiri was delicious but price which noted on the menu as "market price" was way more pricey than anticipated, it came out to be $24 for two pieces. Expect to wait for a while for the food to come out, especially when it's busy.

Jason F.

Yelp
Folks complaining about price simply must not eat at the good Beaverton sushi places right now. ln this area I've eaten at all of them and this is cheaper by a few bucks with it's comps but on par with quality and in the same price zone. This is not an embedded 20 year place nor a conveyor place. This place has great service and ambieance which I read and didn't think much of but its like the music helps the staff pace themselves and control their attitudes. It's pleasant and easy and that is distinct here. The nigiri were all exceptions - they source well, the portions are appropriate, and it's hit with the right subtle enhancements. Rolls are solid but there too many spicy ones is probably my only complaint. Go here and enjoy for sure.

Yelp
Tried this new sushi place that opened up and I was pleasantly surprised!! It's a bit pricier, but worth it. The salmon roll was amazing, big pieces of salmon and high quality! They have a creamy udon that is so delicious. I also got the tonkotsu ramen, it was amazing and not too heavy. Service was great as well! Will definitely be coming back here. The vibe is also very cute inside!

Yelp

Yelp
Delicious spot for Japanese food in the suburbs! We dined for lunch and opted for the bento. Everything we had was fresh and very tasty. Generous portions and a complimentary appetizer to start. The restaurant was very clean, modern and bright. Service was prompt, friendly and warm. Great vegetarian options (we tried the vegetable gyoza, veggie rolls, inari and tofu teriyaki) which we truly appreciated. Just discovered this place and already looking forward to our next meal!

Bari B.

Yelp
Fabulous sushi & food and "Connor", our server is always wonderful! This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Portland!!!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Best quality sushi in town! Sashimi selections and quality was top notch. Sashimi and rolls were both fresh and had unique toppings/seasonings that paired so well with each type of fish. Pork katsu was very tender and crispy, and the cod just melts in your mouth! Everything was excellent! The restaurant has an overall clean and warm ambiance, and servers were quick and friendly.

Yelp
New in Beaverton! This place has really good quality fish that makes you want to return. The space is also beautiful and the service is exceptional as the staff truly cares about your dining experience. I'd recommend Noa and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Food was delicious and artistically presented. This is a higher class sushi restaurant in the suburbs. the quality of the fish was excellent. The chef took pride in his presentation. a lot of rolls to choose from. i'm not giving it 5 stars because the crispy rice on the spicy salmon was over fried making it hard and dense. The other strange thing is the lighting. I cannot recall eating under such bright lights at a restaurant. I think dimming the lights will make it a more intimate experience. the restaurant was nicely decorated. The service was attentive with multiple servers always checking up on us.

Tram N.

Yelp
It started out great, we got the creamy udon and takoyaki, and both were 5/5. I was so excited because everything was going so well. There was a mix up in the back so our sushi took a very long time to come out. I'm not sure what the other reviews are saying.. but this place does not have good sushi for the price that they charged. The rice is absolutely terrible. It falls apart and was not like high quality sushi rice. You know the place is good or not based on the rice and of course the freshness of the fish, but Im truly disappointed in both and will not be returning. I also wanted to mention that when they brought out the sushi (spider roll) it was cold... this was advertised as fried soft shell crab. See picture of reference. And it seems like it was not made fresh. Our waiter was nice and apologized for the delay which is why this is a 2 star and not one. But it's absurd that we were one of 4 tables and our food was out super late in comparison to 4 other tables that come in after us. This place has a lot to work on, and it starts with their quality of rice. You cannot charge $9 for a two pieces of nigiri and the rice tasted like old microwave rice. If you want appetizers or stuff that is cooked in the kitchen, pretty much anything besides sushi. Maybe you'll like it.

K E.

Yelp
My daughter and I enjoyed our first experience with NOA. The restaurant is clean and smells fresh (not fishy). All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There were two servers and we wanted for nothing. The servers would watch each other's tables to ensure that all the patrons had what they needed. We tried the mushroom karaage and it was delicious. We are big fans of king oyster mushrooms so it was a nice treat. We tried various rolls and each one was delicious and more beautifully presented than the last. My daughter kept taking pictures of them because they were so pretty. Sushi is all about the rice, more than the fish. A lot of sushi restaurants serve overly seasoned and sweeter rice. My family prefers the sushi rice that NOA serves, which is lightly seasoned and not gummy. It held together fine but would fall apart if you spent too much time handling it. Each grain was seasoned and not stuck together in clumps with only part of the rice being seasoned. It was early evening when we went so I'm not sure how the restaurant operates when it is busy and full. We did not have any issues. But they have only been open for two months so I suspect there might be growing pains as they go along. Our family plans to continue to dine here. When we were walking out, the entire staff thanked us, including the woman folding napkins. We felt they really appreciated our business.

Yelp
Delicious! Wasn't sure whether a sushi place opening in a random strip mall near Safeway would be any good. However, it's just incredible. Fresh fish, good variety of both sushi and other Japanese items, thoughtful food presentation, and very friendly service. We've been 3 times since they opened and each time was incredible. I recommend making reservations - the one time we didn't make a reservation we had to wait for a table (I drive by frequently and it seems unpredictable. Sometimes it's packed, even as early as 6:00 pm). Highly recommend!

Laura H.

Yelp
Great sushi spot. Kobe roll was excellent. Enjoyed the double crunch role but would probably opt for something with more fresh fish next time. Great service, friendly and attentive. Will be back.
google avatar

Lan T.

Yelp
Loved it here- service was quick and welcoming. All 3 dishes we got were delicious and plated nicely. The West Coast roll was a highlight as the sauce was pleasantly sweet- which is not usual in spicy mayo. I'll definitely be coming here again!

Esther K.

Yelp
NOA sushi just opened up, and I was very impressed. The vibes were bright and clean, with small detail that felt personalized (for ex: the plates and dishware were very beautiful and felt crafted to the experience!). The sushi felt VERY quality and was well portioned. Each meal felt like it was made with quality ingredients and was very good. I also loved that they had a little appetizer to begin your meal, it felt like a course meal. This is the new go-to sushi spot!! What we ordered: -Tuna salad: loved the dressing on this, tasted a little korean spicy but really fresh -Salmon roll (forgot the name, its a speciality one): this was so good and had scallops inside! So good with the spicy mayo on the side. -Shrimp tempura roll: 5 piece, but don't be mistaken. There is actually 4 shrimp tempuras inside one of these huge rolls. This paired well with the udon. -Udon: had a rich, deep mushroom-like taste. Broth was actually really good and I love getting an udon to eat with my sushi, I need that broth in between each bite. -Bento box: this is HUGE and a great bang for your buck. A little taste of everything. We got chicken katsu + california roll.

Yelp
Great food and great service from This brand new restaurant. So nice to have a new neighborhood sushi restaurant!

Mark P.

Yelp
My wife and I went in for dinner recently and were very impressed with the menu and the service. The sushi and rolls we got were of excellent quality, with bonus points for presentation. Lobster Karaage was also excellent as was the brûlée dessert. What a treat to unexpectedly experience a quality meal when so many places seem to be phoning it in and/or cutting corners. Additional kudos for attentive service. As far as price goes, I thought NOA is actually undercharging for the quality they are putting out. Don't think people realize what it takes in terms of time, cost of goods, and other overhead to provide consistent quality. In this context NOA is a bargain. We will certainly be back!
google avatar

Lynn N.

Yelp
FANTASTIC sushi! Everything tasted so delicious and fresh. So happy a good quality sushi place opened here! Service was amazing, everyone was friendly and attentive. Prices are more on the higher end, but it's so worth it. My favorite was actually an appetizer, their kaki-age or tempura fried veggies. It was extremely light and refreshing, it didn't taste greasy at all.

Yelp
Great service. Good quality. However very overpriced. Will probably never come back. Not worth the cost. There are many other places to go that would be more economical for the same quality. Really disappointing since it's so close to my house. If they lowered their prices I would be a regular.

Yelp
Firstly I can sincerely say that this was the best sushi experiences I have ever had. On the flavor side, the fish tasted fresh and the ingredients tasted top notch in each roll I had. The menu was diverse enough to include new flavors and speciality rolls that tasted delicious (my personal favorite was the West Coast Roll) while still staying true to familiar classics that you come to expect like the California roll. I challenged myself to try new rolls I haven't had before and while not everything I had was my favorite, I didn't have one roll that I thought wasn't at least good. The service was great as well, all the staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our table. Whenever I never needed to wait long to order something or get a refill on my drink. Lastly, the ambience was superb as well. Even the though the decor was more on the minimalistic side, there plenty of paintings and little details that made the place feel alive. Not to mention the plating which matched the energy of the surroundings perfectly. You can definitely tell they put a lot of thought into making the restaurant feel elevated yet comfortable Overall, while Noa Sushi is on the more expensive side I feel confident that I got what I payed for and more. I will definitely be returning here again shortly!

Yelp
Friendly service, delicious rolls, clean interior. Will be back to try more off of their extensive menu :) so glad to have another good sushi spot in Beaverton.

Yelp
The price of the sushi was way over what it should be given the size of the rolls they serve. The fish they use is pretty good though.

Yelp
We tried NOA Sushi for the first time earlier this week and it was great! First impression was the place is extremely clean and the service was welcoming. We were waited on right away and our food came quickly. The server, Daisy, was very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty, nicely portioned and priced reasonably! We would definitely go back again and would recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

Yelp
Great service and good sushi, enjoy the nice ambiance or take an order to go and walk down to the local Taphouse.

Yelp
Brand New!! Been waiting for a sit down, non sushi track restaurant, to come to the area... NOA did not disappoint. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Staff and sushi chefs were attentive and gracious. Highly recommend

Yelp
I think if I could give a more accurate rating it's be more like 4.6 ,but I'm gonna round up! Clean, but casual environment. The staff was super nice and attentive, food came out pretty fast and was platted beautifully. I think the chefs really have a way with flavors. Yuzu mayo with karrage and the mentaiko udon were wonderful. Unfortunately, I don't feel like the fish shined. I got a sashimi set as well and while the slices of sashimi were thick, the fish seemed to lack flavor. They added a bit of garnish for each one and it did feel like maybe that was their way of making up for it. Personally, I wouldn't go here for just the fish. I think their rolls and other specials like the udon will be the best experience for anyone looking to try the place out!

Yelp
Fantastic. I'm so sad we are moving a bit further away, because I'd love to eat here every day. The fish was so fresh, rolls, nigiri, and sake were on POINT. Service was great. Staff went out of their way to make this a lovely experience. A gem.

Yelp
Just opened on Monday! So excited for a sit down table service sushi restaurant to come into Murrayhill. The decor and ambiance inside is so peaceful. Subtle artwork on the walls & minimalistic design. Has a sushi bar as well as plenty of table seating. The staff were very friendly and courteous. It was busy for a Saturday night but being it was their first weekend in business they weren't sure what to expect. We didn't feel ignored or like we weren't getting good service. We had the sushi and sashimi combo platter and it did not disappoint. The fish was so fresh and tasty and just melted in your mouth. The shishito peppers were amazing, I could make a meal just out of those. Oregon Coast roll was so flavorful. The owners treated us to a dessert of matcha crème brûlée and it just finished off the meal perfectly. Sometimes matcha can have an overpowering earthy flavor but this was so subtle and paired well with the caramelized sugar on top. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Obsessed with this new sushi restaurant near my house! I've already been a handful of times and it only opened recently. The lunch special is awesome, with plenty of food and all delicious! Ingredients are fresh and food is made to order! My husband tried the ramen and was impressed! Service was lovely too! We are so happy this place landed in our neighborhood.
