Wonderful food. I'm Armenian, and this is as authentic as it gets. I had the Chicken kabob plate and my Husband had the half chicken and half beef combo plate. You won't leave hungry, the plates are overflowing with food. We took half home. The service is great, friendly staff. I'm just sorry I didn't take a picture, we just dug right in.

This place is amazing, great food great service great price and portion will return for sure.

Excellent food, service, value. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, made to order, and tasted incredible. The spicy chicken wrap was perfect, hand-cut, freshly made seasoned fries, and one of the best Armenian Coffees I've ever had!! Can't wait to go back.

I was really impressed, I think Noah’s ark is one of the best middle eastern restaurants in town!! It was clean, the music was relaxing, the food was good ( it can always be better) but good so far, specially the rice. The salad was refreshing!!! I didn’t like the hummus. If you are looking for a clean family owned middle eastern restaurant, try that spot!!!

This was the Beef Kebab plate from Noah’s Ark Restaurant and Bakery in Fresno! The food was honestly a 10/10 with some juicy beef, yummy rice pilaf, delicious garlic sauce, and good pita bread!!! The interior of this place was cool with the Noah’s Ark mural, and it had a clean vibe! Business was also popping on a Monday afternoon for lunch! I would come again!

Wow. It amazes me how Noah Ark has stayed consistent over all these years from being in a little drive -thru hut to a nice dine-in restaurant and the quality has not wavered. It's an open space and it's quiet. No music and it was dead at the time, which was around 4pm on a Friday. The young waiter was polite and professional. I'm pretty basic with Mediterranean cuisine. Appetizer is always hummus and the entree is always chicken kabab. The chicken pieces were gargantuan but not dry. Flavored and juicy how one would want it. I usually don't care for pilaf but theirs was buttery and flavorful so I dug in on it. Garlic sauce is very strong and powerful - I'm def. More of a subtle sauce gal so it was untouched. Portions were hefty which equated to lots of leftovers. Hummus was great too! The food does take a little while to come out but that's always an indicator that food is being prepared freshly upon order.

I ordered the chicken kebab plate and it was great. The plate comes with salad, pilaf, garlic sauce, and six large pieces of chicken. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Although the service is a little slow, the staff is kind and appreciative. Highly recommend Noah's Ark.

I'm a big fan of chicken kabobs and have had them at many restaurants. I've also eaten at Noah's Ark a lot. Noah's Ark has by far the best chicken kabobs and they are always excellent! The kabobs are large and always perfectly cooked meaning they are always juicy and never dry. They also come with a delicious garlic dipping sauce. If you think I'm exaggerating, give them a try. You won't be disappointed! It's also worth mentioning that the portions are huge and at a very reasonable price.

I love this restaurant!! Every time I come back to the area and want Mediterranean food this is where I want to go!! We had rack of lamb, salad and a combo of chicken and beef kabobs. Everything was fresh and delicious!! We'll be back again no doubt!

Family owned restaurants. The staff is very professional and always go out of their way to great you. Their food is always prepared in a timely manner yet not rushed to give it the utmost flavor.

Our party of six received wonderful, gracious service in the large, well-lit dining room. Even though the room is large, the acoustics were very good. Other tables were far enough apart that there was no overheard conversations which worked well for a group of very talkative women. All of us were highly pleased with our food. Flavors were fresh and portions generous. Not only did I have leftovers of the lamb wrap to take home, but I also ordered another portion to take home for my husband to enjoy. I ordered dessert and Armenian coffee to end my meal. What a treat. I'll be back to have that again. Service was gracious and lovely in this shopping center restaurant. Lots of parking which is good as this is a busy center with lots of options.

Tucked in a strip mall, this unassuming place doesn't seem like much from the outside. But the food is worth trying. It is pretty much no-nonsense Mediterranean food. I went there with my family and we ordered lulu kabob, shish kabob and beef kabob. It was all delicious and well cooked. It wasn't particularly cheap, but the portions were pretty big.

Food was amazing . Fresh and delicious! We used DoorDash to get it at home. There was an item that we ordered that was not available... they called me and we got a great substitution! Tasty!!

Great little Armenian restaurant with a Noah's Ark theme. The decor inside is beautiful, clean, and well thought out. It gives you the feeling of being inside the Ark with wood paneling on the ceiling and walls. We tried the #2 kebab combo with an extra skewer of chicken. The beef kebabs were excellent, seasoned well and came out tender. The rice is a deliciously fluffy buttery basmati style pilaf with garlic sauce, salad, and pita. Our waitress Marietta was very helpful and informed us that they also do family style catering for large parties. Inquire within for more information. Will definitely come back to try the borscht and lamb chops.

I have been going to this restaurant for a while. However, I will be finding a new Mediterranean type restaurant to go to. Every time we go, they are out of Baklava. When we first went, we were told we get a second garlic sauce if we need one at no charge. Well, when we ask for it, they say they are out! The last time we were there, it was 25 min to closing, we were almost finished eating and we asked for some more garlic sauce. They said they were out, again! At 8:00 sharp the owners, the husband and wife walked out and started closing the curtains and turning off the thermostat. We were almost finished, but not quite. They didn't say a word. Not hi, or I hope your meal was good, etc. Closing time is 8:00. Normally that means closed to customers. We figured out, it wasn't that they didn't have garlic sauce, they didn't want to get it out, since they had put it away. They were actually rude. They left their son to close up. They were not friendly at all. We felt like they were put out because we were still there. We got there an hour before closing. We won't be back any time soon, if at all. They are always "out" of items from the menu. Sad. The food is very good. Not only that, when you order to go, you don't get near the food like when you dine in. Not right. Barely any salad and rice. Sad.

Ok so this was my first time coming to this restaurant, now the service was good and the lady that helped me was very polite and greeted me as soon I as I walked in. However I was craving something sweet and got two cheese cake slices and a Turismo The cheese cake was hard and tasted stale so I was very disappointed at that, but the Turismo was good thankfully Hopefully I'll have a better experience next time, don't want to rate food on just that one fault ‍

Probably the best food in all Fresno. I got the beef, chicken, and lamb and it was all cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The server was very attentive, always checking in and providing great service. The tiramisu was great, the chocolate cake is good, and the baklava is great too. The setting is very nice and clean. You really can't ask for more.

Great service and amazing food! My party had made a reservation for all 6 of us to be there at 5 for our Galentine's dinner, and despite having made that reservation, most of us were fashionably late. Regardless of the time we showed up, though, they still seated and served us with the utmost care. There was a single waitress for the restaurant, but it wasn't very busy and it's a small location so it is easier to keep track of customers. The walls and decor of the restaurant are decorated in "Noah's ark" theme, making the inside feel like the interior of an ark with classic ark "windows" as well. It was a nice touch. The drinks are served in a glass goblet or smaller wine glass with stem, not sure the name exactly, but it's cute. The cups held quite a bit of water, but the waitress never met it run empty. The food portions are quite large, and I ended up having to take half my salad to go. The food was so delicious, we all couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. The grilled chicken with the creamy garlic sauce is divine. Top tier combination. The prices are also something to rave about. Everything is priced decently, especially for the portion sizes you get. For dessert, half of us opted for cake while the other half opted for Baklava. I got the Baklava, and it was perfect. Perfect crispness with every bite and packed full of flavor. If you love Mediterranean food or want to try it for the first time, I couldn't recommend Noah's ark restaurant more. It's totally worth the visit!

First off I've eaten at this restaurant over 50 times and every time the food is fabulous portions are large. The meat is tender. It's hard to find anything bad with this place. They've even stepped up the quality of the service the LAMBSHISH was absolutely cooked the perfection and delicious, tender, succulent pieces of meat. The other members of the group order the combination plates. There were so much food on the plates that they had to go containers. The other people ordered the wraps which were over the top. They were so filled that the food was falling out of the bottom. There's nothing bad to say about this place. You won't quality food you want to eat good meat this is the place to come

5 stars for the food. It was SO GOOD. Perfect cooked, all tasted fresh. 5 for the service. The people were so kind and welcoming, even with a wild 2 year old in tow (they brought him crayons and food a little earlier so he was happy). 3 for the space. We we went in, most of the tables were dirty and it was mid summer and they don't have a running AC it seems. They have a mobile unit in the corner. So we were a bit hot. Overall I would go back and recommend because the food was THAT good.

The food was incredible at this awesome hole in the wall! SO yummy and a great price for how much food you're served. What really did it, was the personability of the workers (local and family owned at its finest)! They were so friendly and accommodating with my crazy toddler and turned a night that could have been very stressful into a fun experience for her so us adults could eat in peace. Delicious Beef Lula Noah's Wrap made from kebab shaped patty inside pita bread. Served with delicious white garlic sauce on the side. No ingredients details on menu. So if you don't like something such as bell peppers, ask. Spacious dining room and waiting areas. Animal theme throughout restaurant.

This is one of my favorite must pick up food when I'm working in Fresno. The chicken meatball soup is so fresh, hint of lemon and reminds me of home when I'm on the road. I also order the beef lulu plate with rice and salad. The tiramisu is the best part of my meal. They don't make it everyday so you'll have to call first. The gal who works at the counter is so sweet. I love this family owned and run restaurant. Clean restaurant, clean restroom, great customer service, delicious & fresh food! Definitely recommend and will return!

So if you have not tried this place you are seriously missing out. Had the chicken wrap. Came with a garlic sauce that was mouth watering. Also had combo number 2. Was enough yummy food to feed both of us and take home lunch for tomorrow. Service was impeccable. On top of everything the entire meal. Have a new local favorite for Mediterranean cuisine.

Amazing food, the chicken plate is amazing, the rice is fluffy and the people are super nice, the price is not too bad, and it is a very relaxing place!

Second visit on 7/2/24: I have to say the person making the food today did it without love. Maybe he didn't want to be at work as it appears he might have been in his workout clothes or pajamas. My lettuce was very wilted the few pieces I saw. I hope I didn't eat any bad lettuce. The customer service is still very good from the waitress.

We stumbled upon this place on a work visit to Fresno. We enjoyed our lunch. I tried the lentil soup which tasted very homemade. We tried the steak and chicken dish with the rice and Armenian salad. The dishes are appropriately priced since you're getting a lot of food, big portions. Service was good. I would recommend this spot for good Mediterranean food.

Went in on a Thurs morning specifically for pastries and was told they had not made any that day. Went in another day and all they had was cheesecake, baklava, and (I think!) tiramisu. I tried the baklava, which seemed average to me, though I'm not an expert. Can't comment on the food, as I didn't try it. Felt slightly disappointed that they didn't have more pastry selection as I'd heard it recommended as a good place for pastries.

I absolutely adore this place and I'm happy we decided to come here for dinner! It's in a shopping center I don't frequent often BUT I will come back just for Noah's Ark. The woman who served us was so authentically friendly and lovely, she answered all of our questions and made our experience that much better. We ordered the Armenian salad, Noah's choice 2, and the beef shawarma plate. Everything was delicious and so filling. We ended up taking some of our plates to go because the portions were plentiful. We also got some desserts to bring home as well which were also yummy. Inside the restaurant is very pleasant for evening time--the music is calm and not too packed. I enjoyed looking at all the decor. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the lights on the cameras kept coming on and off above us but not that big of a deal.

Food, service, atmosphere, it's all great. Highly recommended. Yelp wants me to say more but I think I already said it all.

I enjoyed a great lunch here with my friends. Food and service are both excellent. Look forward to coming again.

Noah's is a great place to stop for that Mediterranean fix. Reasonable in price, very good food, family atmosphere, and friendly service.

We came here for our weekly date night this week after wanting to try out Noah's for a while. We walked in and were transformed from a random strip mall into a warm and comforting family environment. The menu immediately sounded wonderful and we chose the falafel side, I had the salmon plate, and my husband had the Noah #2 (which was a combo of lamb, chicken, and beef). The falafel was fantastic- not too dry and very flavorful. The salmon plate was fantastic. You had a huge serving of tasty salmon, rice, and salad. I was not a huge fan of the salad dressing but that was not my priority. The rice was pretty good, I think for me I would have liked the option of choosing bulgar rather than it being a pricy side (about 9 dollars for a bowl). My husband enjoyed his meal and it was a lot of food- both of us definitely had left overs. Overall Noah's was a great experience and the food was tasty. We will definitely be back!

Noah's Ark is a gem of a Mediterranean restaurant! It has to be one of the best kept secrets in Fresno. The food is that good and reasonably priced. The restaurant is only open Mon-Thurs and closes at 7:30pm. If you like Mediterranean food and haven't already tried this place -- make it a point of having lunch or dinner at the restaurant soon. You will not be disappointed!

Everyone that I bring here falls in love with the food. It takes forever to get food here and I find that it's totally worth it. I leave full but not like after eating a greasy burger. It's on the healthier side. Service can be friendly. The food appears rather simple and yet it's so good. The chicken here is incredible.

We visited Noah's Ark Restaurant with a group of 11 and had a great lunch. Mediterranean food isn't my favorite, but I was blown away by how delicious the food was. The service was friendly and helpful. The wait time for the food was a little long, but was well worth the wait.

This place is delicious! Ive tried the chicken wrap & chicken kebab plate. Both entrees are so flavorful. I love the portions they give, one plate can feed 2 people. The chicken is always tender and juicy. Great service with Great food is what you'll get here. I've been a customer for quite some time and never been disappointed. Check this place out if your craving mediterranean food :)

In my experience eastern places are very hard to find, but this one is a hidden gem that is worth the trip! The food was amazing quality, made from scratch. The service was great and I liked the cultural ambience of the place. They were a bit understaffed when I went, and food of this type of cuisine typically takes a while to cook so be prepared to wait a while before your food gets to you. However, it is most definitely worth the wait! Food is also reasonably priced as well. If you've never tried Slavic/armenian food this is definitely a great place to try it out!

Hidden gem in Fresno. Fantastic fresh food, we had steak and chicken Noah's Choice #1 and the meat were tender and well seasoned. Rice and salad were very good as well. Topped it off with Opera cake-delicious! The young lady that served us was very sweet and polite- highly recommended

Finally had the opportunity to try Noah's Ark with a couple of buddies. Had the beef kabob plate and it was delicious. The meat was surprisingly tender and the pilaf was tasty. The chicken kabob was also really good. The only downside was the food took a while to come out despite the fact that the restaurant was at half capacity. The waitress was amazing and funny. Probably on my list of go-to places especially since it's so close to the university.

I had the Noah's Choice #1. It had both chicken and beef. Both of which were delicious!!! The beef was tender and not over cooked. The chicken was not dry. And they were both seasoned great. My dining guest had the lamb kabob. She said it was very tender and flavorful. We also ordered falafel. I would say it's some of the best I've had. They were out of hummus so she brought us a little babaganoush. I have never had it before. And it to was delicious. Everything was very good. It did take awhile for our food to come out but they were a little busy and there was only one girl waitressing. And she was doing an excellent job. They didn't really have any desserts. I asked her about it. She said they are in the process of getting a new baker. The girl that helped us was sooo nice and very helpful. I look forward to going back!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My wife and I love this restaurant. Definitely one if not our favorite in Fresno. My wife always orders the rack of lamb and it never disappoints her. So tender and juicy. My son loves the chicken kabobs with french fries. The chicken pieces are very large and very tender and juicy considering its breast meat. As for me, whenever its available, i get the baby back ribs with the grilled veg. And the garlic sauce that comes with each dish goes well with all the dishes I have mentioned. My wife always orders the lentil soup, too. We have never had a disappointing meal here. The serving size is normally big enough for me to have a second meal at home. And they have great desserts, too. As for the place itself, its huge. Plenty of room if you want a family gathering. They accommodate private parties. They always treat us with respect and we always leave very satisfied. We wish you all have the same experience soon.

What a gem buried in the back of a sad strip mall. And the pastries! Wow oh wow, just beautiful. We'd already eaten mediocre Chinese food before we spotted the place (out of towners). As we walked in, expecting maybe a bakery that served sandwiches, I was so surprised at what I saw! A lovely atmosphere and decor, and delicious food on the plates of the patrons. So sorry we hadn't seen this first, we bellied up to the pastry display. I had the opera cake and my friend the tiramisu cake, they were both fantastic! They also had a beautiful wine selection behind the pastries. I can't wait till I'm back in Fresno, I'm going there for lunch!

Dry oily falafels. Strange inauthentic gyro. Flavorless tahini. Confused menu, borscht served besides tabbouleh and kebab. Camera shining brightly in my face every 30 seconds, did not offered souvenirs photos with the check, which was by the way excessive. Not to mention conflicting prices stated. Only one employee hosting and serving the entire floor alone. Definitely didn't remind me of my childhood holidays spend in the Mediterranean. Will not be returning.

Forgot how tasty this place is! Really liking the beef gyro wrap, better when fresh and not as takeout where it has to sit in my car! There's a bit of a wait for food but the taste makes up for it everything is so balanced and fresh tasting and the meat is perfectly tender and seasoned, even the garlic sauce isn't overpowering. The family operating this place is also really kind.

Ani B. was fantastic, she was really busy managing several tables, but was attentive and engaging. The food was a 4-5, but her personality was a 10. We would definitely recommend.

Our 1st time hear today.....what nice surprise delicious food, super nice waitress, nice interior aka warm & inviting. Side dishes are bountiful. We will definitely be back
