Next Orange County Restaurant Will Feature Wagyu Steaks and Crispy Duck | Eater LA

"I noted that Phantom Ales in Anaheim has closed, with its final day of service on August 19; ownership wrote on social media, "Sometimes you turn the page, and it's the last page left to turn," and thanked patrons for making the past 16 years fly by." - Farley Elliott

We produce Comedy Shows at Noble Friday, Saturday, Sundays! Come for the Comedy, stay for the great beer, friendly staff and chill vibes.

Dropped in for Memorial Day. The Funfetti Naughty Sauce (golden milk stout with funfetti cake batter extract) was sooo tasty! Regular Naughty Sauce on nitro was also delicious. Hubby got the Red Ale on nitro twice. There were several vegan food trucks, a DJ, and a car detailer. Such a chill place with wonderful staff, always friendly (and dog friendly!), and they have great beer. 🍻

Google
Great little spot! Walked over after the baseball game — super convenient location. According to the website, they stay open 45 minutes after the final pitch, which worked out perfectly. The bartender was friendly and took the time to help me pick a beer since it was my first time. Ended up going with the white stout — absolutely amazing. And the best part? Beers were only $5 after the game. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Dropped in for a few prior to a hockey game and had a genuinely great time! They had a good variety of styles, and every beer I tried was good. Be sure to give Naughty Sauce a try as it was not at all what I was expecting Also thank you to the friendly locals who hung out and chatted prior to the game.

Google
Great beer! I also like that they allow parking during the game. My Whats Up Buttercup (peanut butter stout) is quite good

Google
Awesome beers on tap also available to go. Small yet cozy dining room. Had games like giant jenga and giant connect 4 which is always fun. Food truck outside till 10 on weekend.

This brewery has consistently produced some the best Southern California beers since opening many years ago. We stay in Laguna Beach when we come to California and never want to leave the beach, but the beers at Noble convince me every time that I need to.

I was recently back after a few years of hiatus. I had a great experience upon my return. The best part of my visit was the staff! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and totally on top of their game. The beer was good as usual, and I have a new favorite. My former fav, the OG Naughty Sauce was dethroned for my weakness, a Bavarian hefe, Children of the Wheat. The brewery has expanded a bit with a communal set of benches outside and a giant music and entertainment space tucked in the back. There is an air hockey table, a lounge with a TV, and some pinball machines. I'm ready to go back already for some fresh draft Children of the Wheat!

Yelp
Noble Ale Works: A True Anaheim Beer Pillar Noble Ale Works is a cornerstone of the Orange County craft beer scene, and they are essential viewing for anyone visiting Anaheim, especially if you're catching a game nearby. This spot consistently delivers world-class, expertly brewed beers in a laid-back, industrial-chic setting. You absolutely have to try their famous Naughty Sauce, a Golden Milk Stout that is surprisingly light in color but rich in flavor, infused with coffee--it's creamy and incredibly unique. If you're an IPA fan, you can't go wrong with anything from their highly-regarded Showers Series or the classic Big Whig IPA; they are hop-forward, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is excellent, with plenty of seating both inside and out. Since they don't have their own kitchen, they frequently host a variety of local food trucks, which keeps the food options fresh and exciting (check their social media for the day's vendor). The staff is super knowledgeable and always happy to guide you through their extensive tap list, which also features great seltzers and lagers for those looking for something lighter. Whether you're a serious beer connoisseur or just looking for a fun spot to grab a pint, Noble Ale Works is a mandatory stop in Orange County.

Yelp
Our first visit to the brewery was on a Saturday early evening. Definitely not too crowded, but some games on the big screens and an awesome lineup on tap. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful as we selected our flight and asked some questions. We love that the Naughty Sauce is a staple with variants of it and other stouts being prevalent on the menu. The highlights were Cinnamon Roast Crunch, Naughty Sauce, and Ligers IPA. Prices were pretty reasonable, but the comfort level of the stools and not well-maintained bathrooms have room for improvement. A little more divey of a brewery than necessary, but solid beers.

Yelp
Swung by Noble on an Angels game day -- didn't actually go to the game, just hung out and watched it on the TV. Overall, it was a chill time, but the place didn't exactly blow me away. I had the Mexican lager and their West Coast pilsner. Both were decent, but came out a bit warmer than I'd like. Not the worst, but definitely not super crisp or refreshing. I did try a couple of their hard seltzers and those were surprisingly solid -- great flavor and colder than the beer, which was kind of funny. The brewery itself has a laid-back, warehouse vibe, but it looked a little run down. Nothing awful, just could use a little love. Still, the atmosphere was fun -- people were in good spirits, game on the TV, and some yard games going on. Service was friendly, and they had a food truck parked outside, which was a nice bonus since there's no in-house kitchen. All in all, Noble was just okay for me. Not a bad stop if you're in the area or looking to pregame near the stadium, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I hope yall stop by and enjoy the vibes! Enjoy fellow yelpers

Yelp
Thanks Luke for the hospitality and the knowledge of beers. I like that they do pop ups each month . More to come!

Yelp
Next time your in the area and looking for a brewery. Check out Noble Ale brewery. In the warehouse area of Orange/Anaheim. Whenever I'm in town. It's my first and only brewery. Great microbrews and favor selections. They open at 4pm with a food vendor outside. Perfect hangout before a Angel or Duck game. I've been coming here for years. Love this place and recommend highly. Awesome people, nice relaxing area with television showing games. Plus 2 clean bathrooms. Check it out. You won't be sorry.

Yelp
Absolutely love Noble! Their flavors are fantastic and their imagination is incredible. For the sours, seltzers, and ciders drinkers that don't usually enjoy the taste of traditional beers this is the place for you to explore. Very traditional in brewery set up, no in-house food, higher barstool type seating, and located in an industrial type business center area. They do usually have food trucks and have limited hours but you can always stop by and grab cans to go. It is VERY rare and difficult to find these outside of the brewery so I do recommend stopping by to try as stumbling upon their drinks elsewhere is rare.

Yelp
We specifically and here for the Chamorro food pop up but also wanted to try the brewery. Unfortunately they were not open yet. Hopefully next time. However, if Island Smoke Grill is back-CHECK THEM OUT! Bomb good and only there till they sell out. Which they always do.
google avatar

Yelp
Have been here a couple times, and they always have a nice variety of different beer styles (and usually a seltzer if you aren't a beer person). You can also order most beers in 3 sizes. Staff is friendly, and there's a decent amount of space. They often have food trucks, but on our recent visit they didn't show. Not a reflection on Noble, but we had planned to eat there. You can always bring your own food too. We would return if in the area again.

Yelp
Great place to stop before a Ducks game. Pretty good beers and plenty of places to hangout with friends & family

Yelp
OMG how did I not know about this place?!!! I love beer and this is my new favorite brewery. The beers are good and so are the people. It's wing night tonight so at 4 pm we get wings and beer. It's a clean and large space, perfect for Anaheim Ducks fans. I will come here weekly from now on to catch my favorite sports teams(Ducks and Angels) oh and they have comedy night too! Happy Yelping!

Yelp
Went here before the freeway series game to pre game. Plenty of parking, not enough seats. It was busy with dodger and angel fans, so mostly standing room only. Online it states you have to register for free parking, we did and never needed to show proof of this. We purchased our drinks and left one car there while at the game. Came back to it with no problem. Staff was friendly, drinks were great. I had the pineapple seltzer, it was very refreshing on a hot day. The inside is not air conditioned just fyi, we went when it was in the 100's and it was very warm inside. Fun place, and plenty of tvs to watch the game as well. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Always love their quirky beer flavors here. Plenty of seating inside and outside, and the service has always been great. Kid and dog friendly.

Yelp
Beer fit for a king. Our crew stopped by Noble Ale Works prior to hitting up the Angel's game on a Thursday. Unfortunately the Angel's lost badly (0-11, ouch!) but the drinks from Noble Ale Works made the trip worth it. Their brew team is incredible. They offered us a number of tastings from the tap to make sure we were happy with our picks. One of their memorable beers was the funfetti, very dessert-esque. We also tried the Flamingle, a pink strawberry lemonade seltzer. My besties ended up taking home a six pack of this seltzer for a future beach day. You can tell that Noble was made by the coolest nerds around. Several of the beers are themed around Harry Potty, Rick & Morty, etc. The artwork is dope and I'd buy a six-pack for this alone. They typically have additional vendors onsite during peak hours. During our visit there was a jewelry seller and mediterranean food truck. Pro tip: Noble Ale Works offers complimentary parking for games at the Angel's Stadium. It's an easy 10 minute walk and worth saving a few dollars. Great spot to pre or post game! Plus it's not as packed as Golden Road/Karl Strauss.

Yelp
I truly enjoy this brewery and their great beers/ seltzers.. when they decide to stay open. My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday on a Thursday on a NON-GAME day. Their website said they would have a food vendor selling wings and the brewery would be open until 10pm. My friends all arrived shortly after 6pm, when we inquired on the food vendor, we were told they cancelled. Bummer.. so we placed some food delivery orders and waited for them to arrive. To our surprise, close to 7pm the only employee working started walking around saying it was "last call." We were very confused, since we had been there less than an hour, were waiting for our food to arrive, and they were supposed to close at 10?? The employee said it was too slow and they couldn't justify staying open. He said he was instructed by the owner to close the place down. My friend jokingly asked how much we have to spend to keep it open.. to which he replied $1,000. Ummm.. ok. So we could not leave as we were waiting for food delivery, he said we could hang out at the picnic tables in the parking lot.. thanks? Lol. We made the best of it, and while we hung out and ate our food other customers drove up and were also disappointed to find out this brewery was closed way before their scheduled time. Needless to say, it left a sour taste in my mouth. I guess the best time to go to Noble Ale Works is before/after a game at Honda Center or Angels stadium, unless you want to risk ending your night early because they don't have enough customers.

Yelp
Came into Noble Ale Works before an Angels game and we absolutely loved it! Such a fun brewery with the best vibes, plenty of space, and a great selection of beers! We had way too much fun here and didn't even realize the baseball game had started while we were still hanging out there with our beers. This location is also awesome in that it's just a short walk to the game from here. The brewery also has both an inside and outside space, and lets you try the beer before you commit to a full size. Loved this place and can't wait to come back to try other beers.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying, Candice (hopefully I spelled that right) is SO AWESOME!!!!!! This place is nothing short of amazing. I have to say, we were recommended this by a friend who brought one of their seltzers and we were so impressed we had to check it out. We were more than impressed. The selection they have is not only impressive, it's creative, funny, and down right tasty. Candice was helping us and held our hands as we figured out what we wanted to buy because the options were a plenty and all good! Lol. They have food venders that come in and we are pumped to come and try them, but this place.... Is stupid good and if you're an angels fan (I'm a dodgers lol) then YOU CAN PARK FREE HERE and walk to the game. Overalll, 100% you need to go here

Yelp
Somewhat of a secret spot if your I'm the know, then you would know what's here. Located in the very industrial section of Anaheim sits this Brewery/tasting room that guarantees a good time and friendly service. Most importantly the place is dog friendly. My pup was welcomed with open arms and was able to sit right below me. If your hungry there is no kitchen but there are a few food trucks waiting outside. I normally visit Saturday nights when they have car shows happening. On these nights they often have local venues selling their products. The beer is good. There are multiple options on tap served ice cold.. They can tap it into tiny cups or larger ones. They also offer beer packs to go. Obviously already canned. Pretty cool dpot.

Yelp
We came here before a concert last Saturday and had a great experience. We really enjoyed their selection of beer and seltzers. The food vendor setup outside was also fantastic! Not a ton of seating options but still a great place to hangout.
google avatar

Lawrence D.

Yelp
One of the top breweries in OC. Great place to hang out after an Angels game. Also tons of parking unlike the other local breweries. They have a great selection and seem to take a ton of risks in their beer. I get so bored of your lager and IPA only breweries.

Yelp
Cool ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. The beers are very well done with a nice variety on tap. The staff is very helpful in answering questions about the beers.

Yelp
Our go to spot before any Ducks game. I'm not the biggest fan of their beers, but they have a stout called Man's Milk that really impressed me and will continue getting that as long as it's on draft. Service is very friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to choose, but the line before Ducks game is a struggle. I think they need to limit people sampling all the beers or do something because it is rough. Either way, we'll continue to stop by before games and grab a decently priced beer!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Not sure what happen to this brewery. They lost themselves in the world of breweries. Staff were less than enthusiastic at the bar. They had some sort of "comedy" night inside the brewery. It was nothing than a bunch of people smoking weed and it smelt like a dirty crap hole. Gotta say, avoid this brewery and head to one that has an identity. Terrible!
google avatar

Gisele S.

Yelp
What a hidden gem this is! I found out about it on Reddit whilst doing research on parking for a comedy show at the Honda Convention Center - buy a beer or two, park in a safe spot for free, and enjoy a nice little walk over to the venue. I arrived with about 90 minutes before the show and found a cozy little spot in the corner to enjoy my beer. I don't normally like beer, but I was surprised at how tasty my Motueka Showers was. The brewery was busy as people were pre-partying for the Angel's game and the comedy show. It was busy, but in a fun, lively way and got me pumped for the show! The walk to the Honda Convention Center was ~15 minutes and there were others walking over, so I just followed them. There are a few very busy streets to cross, but the City of Anaheim had plenty of officers out directing traffic and ensuring pedestrians were taken care of. The post-show walk back was a bit hectic, there were a lot of people leaving two huge venues, but there were lots of traffic controllers and stop-walk attendants. I felt very safe walking back to my car at night! My car was safe and sound when I returned, and Noble Ale Works was still pretty lively. Leaving the area wasn't fun - tons of traffic, so be ready for that. I will definitely return to Noble Ale Works if I go to another show in the area!
google avatar

Marleen M.

Yelp
The Lucky Charm stout was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they were out of the main beers we wanted to try. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I appreciate your comment and wanted to give you another chance. Did you win an award for an IPA? I'm really sorry that my pallet is not the right fit for your WC IPAs. They just don't have the same overall cleanness and quality as a Docent, RiiP or Everywhere. Maybe it's the water, maybe the hops. I ask a lot of questions when I go to breweries because I do feel like I want to make sure I'm asking for the right things. I asked your beer tenders if certain hops were in some beers. They didn't know. I know the hops I do not care for. So I wouldn't judge a brewery on a beer made with a hop that I do not like. I also think your staff is lacking in caring, they don't know what's in the beer, they don't ask questions or give suggestions but they know if I don't tip. It's just not the vibe I'm looking for. That my personal review even circling back for the second time when it was dead and not baseball season.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and really wanted to try a Noble again. Be careful and call ahead. They don't keep their Yelp up to date. I'm positing my pic of their times taken yesterday, Saturday July 6th. I got there and it was closed. Now this wouldn't piss me off if I hadn't wasted the money on an Uber ride to get there. Met a nice brewery or maybe the owner there. He was semi apologetic. Totally not interested in helping though he was taking someone inside for a tour or something. I guess he got the hint since they just updated their times on site. So glad I could help. Just really annoying. I left and went to The Bruery. Check out that review

Yelp
Love this place. Beers are AMAZING! First got to try them at the OC Soccer and Brews and their booth was poppin. Owner is so friendly and the bartenders are awesome! Will be back soon!

Yelp
Good beer options, about 35 seats instead and a few table options outside. Food truck with bahn mi was decent. Loads of parking, and great sports coverage with a big projector in the main room. Also snagged happy hour prices on a Sunday afternoon!
google avatar

Kristiana P.

Yelp
A hidden brewery gem. Beer was solid. Service was very friendly from both the brewery and food truck. Food truck served fresh hot dogs and burgers. They have some TVs for sports viewing A good local brewery with indoor/outdoor seating. Casual, laid back It wasn't too crowded when we went.

Yelp
It's great that Noble Ale invites Vegan vendors on Tuesdays. This is my first time since I'm normally working. My lady friend and I enjoyed a Caii burrito, tamales with rice and beans and nachos. All the food was delicious. I don't drink anymore but when I did this is perfect food to munch on while enjoying some cold ones

Yelp
[During COVID-19 pandemic review for takeout only] I was introduced to Noble Ale Works by my co-worker who is also my friend and he hyped it up so I had to try it while I was in SoCal to confirm the hype. :) I ordered an abundance of beer on the Noble Ale Works website so that I could go to the brewery and pick it up. Ordering online was seamless. The website is straightforward and the details were accurate. The payment system was also easy to use. When I went to pick it up, however, my order was not ready. Online it stated my order would be ready on the specific date and set time I selected. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I got there, I went in the brewery and there was only one person working. He was preoccupied with his current tasks at hand and didn't even acknowledge or greet me. This made my initial impression a little disappointing. However, I stood in line and patiently waited. 15 minutes later, I was asked what I wanted and I let the gentleman know that I was here to pick up my online order. He looked it up on his tablet and asked me to wait 15 minutes. I waited for almost an hour before I got my order. Apparently my order was not ready and he was trying to fill all the crowlers one by one on his own. It was frustrating, but there was nothing I could do but wait. I got an apology prior to leaving and that was it. The beer was great as my friend ranted and raved about. I would give them 5 stars, but the service wasn't up to par. They may need to consider having two people work during a weekend shift or manage their online orders better. I would highly recommend the Naughty Sauce! This is a milk stout, but don't let the word stout deter you. It's not very bitter. It almost tastes like an alcoholic milk tea. :) In addition, when you pour the beer out, it's a light color and it just aesthetically confuses you because you're expecting a dark color for a stout. Note: If you buy the Naughty Sauce gift pack, it doesn't come with a box or nice bag... all items were separate and put into a grocery bag. I also tried the Captain Roast Crunch, but the cinnamon flavor profile was too forward and overwhelming making it very hard to enjoy. I got the Dankivore hazy IPA, Hazor Ramon hazy double IPA, and a variety of fruity hard seltzers!

Yelp
Truly one of the hidden gems in Anaheim. This place deserves more press. All of the employees are extremely chill, which for me, is always a very important part of a dining/drinking experience. But the beer here is awesome!! 1) they have certain beers that are favorites that they pretty much always have. 2) they are always trying out new beers, which is another thing that I love. I wish I had more to say, but when a spot is as on point as this one...there isn't much else. It's managed well, and the beer is great, it's like an experience or it can also be like a local "pub." Both of those are good things!!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
My friends and I brew hopped before we went to angels stadium for the dodgers freeway series. What a disappointment noble ale...you used to be top notch king of ipa's in orange county..my friends and I were excited to come here because we haven't been to Anaheim for years.. My friends got an IPA and they were disappointed. I even tried their beers, they had no body...it was very sad to see this brewery beers decline..... I hope they will rebound...

Yelp
Came here with some friends who mentioned there was a vegan pop-up happening during the week. 4 stands were there the day we went and so we tried all of them. This review isn't about the food since it's not technically associated with Noble Ale Works. The vibe of the place is pretty laid-back industrial. Definitely a true brewery in that sense and very low key/casual. But it also had kind of a grimy feel to it too, like being unkept and unclean. Maybe the sticky table and dirty toilets gave off that impression. We all tried a few rounds of beers including their popular Naughty Sauce which was definitely not my thing. One of buddies did really enjoy it though but the rest of us were kind of unimpressed. Overall, it was an average experience in my opinion. There are just so many breweries now in OC so I might give this another try later down the line.
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
I have only tried about one or two other Anaheim breweries but both of those experiences were amazing and now I can add Noble Ale Works to that list! I had two of their beers. The Noble Haze was a double IPA that I really liked a lot! It had a good fruitiness to it and an herbal aspect on my tongue which I love! I do love herbal flavors to beer and feel like I don't come across them enough... Speaking of not coming across something enough... that moves me on to the other beer we had. The Naughty Sauce. A white stout which I feel like is a pretty rare find. I do love white stouts if I can get a hold of them because they are a nice change of pace and always taste do good! And if you have read enough of my reviews you know how much I like my complexity of flavors! This white stout has highlights of pecan pie, cinnamon and cookie dough. It makes for a sweet beer but I felt like it wasn't heavy handed either. Excellent beer from this brewery and well worth checking out!

Yelp
Always love coming here before an event. This place definitely gets busy and packed but the wait is never too long. They have a strange of selections to choose from.

Yelp
Awesome place to stop for some great beer. Lots of different food trucks and the like rotate through so there's almost always a different food to try.

Yelp
I first discovered Noble several years ago, but when I recently visited, I noticed some issues that impacted our experience. First off, I love their beer. And honestly, the beer is what is keeping this place going. We went before the Angel game this past week in the middle of a heatwave--a frequent occurance thanks to Climate Change. The brewery was out of seats within its cooler interior, so we were stuck sitting outside. In the direct sun. On a day that reached nearly triple digits. More about our visit: -The single restroom for both men and women was gross and unclean. Who is maintaining that? -The picnic tables are rickety and weather-worn. When someone sits down, our drinks nearly spilled because the wood is so warped. -In general, there's not a lot of seating options for groups. When the management was asked why there was no shade, they said the canopy was "broken by some guests." We all have the weather app on our phones. If you know it's going to be a scorcher, go down the street to Walmart or Big 5 and get an EZ up. Problem solved. The beer is what got this place 3 stars. But beer can only go so far if you're dripping with sweat and nearly getting heat stroke. Beer won't taste as good if you're wondering whether you caught a disease because you had to use the restroom. My advice to Noble: put some effort in cleaning up the place. Invest in more EZ ups at the very least. Or better yet, build a pergola outside. Make this a place people want to gather and spend some time (and $$). Perhaps, install some misters if you can afford it. Take care of your picnic tables (and give them a coat of sealent and stain them to make sure they last longer). People don't just visit a brewery for the drinks. They visit for the experience as a whole. And as a business, you need to make sure that experience is a positive one.

Yelp
Oooohkay! I've had a buddy tell me multiple times to get myself to Noble, it only took me almost a year and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! First of all I specifically went on the recommendation of my friend and because they dropped a Pickle Gose that I Could Not miss out on. They were also having a Friday the 13th Tattoo pop up on site which was super frickin cool! The artist, Lauren [ lj.ink on Instagram ] was the perfect artist for an event like that. She was patient, chill, funny and professional! I grabbed a business card and a new little dagger and some frrresshhh hopps for some friday the 13th inky ink **Service: Beyond Rad! Steph helped me each time and it was a pleasure talking flavor profiles and craft beer with someone so friendly!! **Beer: Well, I started with a pint of Ricks Pickle Punch and ended up leaving with two 4-Packs to take home after having a second glass. It was the perfect balance of dill, crisp and super crushable! I REALLY hope they have it for next years river season. I also tried an Imperial Red and it was absolutely delicious! **Atmosphere: Totally what I'd expect from a rad ass brewery that cares about their craft - definitely see it being a regular chill spot. Clearly you can tell I loved the place! Definitely looking forward to our next visit! CHEERS & STAY RAD NOBLE!!

Yelp
Ok I normally never leave reviews but damn they weren't exaggerating. The female cashier was so rude and gave the most attitude for absolutely no reason lol. Like actually the worst service I've ever had. I don't need you to make any casual convo but could you just not respond to me like I punched your elderly grandmother in the throat. Sidenote: I didn't like the naughty sauce tbh so I'd try the 4oz before getting a larger

We visited on a quiet and misty June gloomy day. The outside seating wasn't appealing, due to the weather. We had our pup and asked if we could sit inside and they were happy to accommodate. The beers we tried were all exceptional. The IPA's really stood out for me though. Very clean and fresh. Stephanie and Christine were amazing and fun. We had a great time at Noble and look forward to returning when the weather is warmer.

Yelp
Still a great brewery but don't play the games in the new arcade section. The token machine gave me multiple coins that none of the machines would take and there is no place to get a refund.

Yelp
Place is super cool vibes. Chill. They have a lot of IPAs on tape which is a good change. Luckily they have food outside as well.

Yelp
Light and friendly atmosphere, great staff, very flavorful in-house selection! Perfect to visit before Ducks and Angels games.

Yelp
Can't say this is any different than other breweries...The beer Is good; the names are something your frat bro would come up with (some sexual innuendos, or something along those lines), there's some food truck type food outside, and sports are on the TV. So let's distinguish this from the many other breweries...bathroom situation is limited---don't bring a particular girl as there is only one to share with everyone and it's tagged up. Don't expect high quality sports viewing with a big screen projected in an over-lit room. It's like watching Skina-Max in the 80's and seeing a boob every once in a while if you don't prescribe--leaves much to desire. Prices of the beers are OC, even at happy hour times. The beer is standard; it's good, but not so good, I would make an extra drive to have these particular ones on draft.

Yelp
Despite the three stars, I'm a huge fan of Noble Ale Works. I'm rooting for these guys to turn it around! The mighty have just fallen so far. On a recent trek out to their location to pickup some of the coveted Naughty Sauce, I couldn't believe what they sold me. Just green pepper off flavor for days. My palate is not that sophisticated, so if I'm picking it up, it's really bad! How could any brewery sell this? The batch was infected or something and they had apparently no quality control whatsoever to catch it before it was canned and sold out the door to customers. I love the staff here and they have a ton of clout and pedigree with the history of craft brewing in OC. Truly some of my favorite all time beers came from the folks at Noble Ale Works. They need to get back to basics and making great and creative brews.

Yelp
Noble Ale's been on our list for quite some time now. It's a small joint located deep in business parks near the Angel's stadium. The brewery was quite small and packed. Beers were good, there were some hazy IPAs that we liked and will be returning to try! Side note: Dogs are not allowed. We didn't know (there were mix answers on the Yelp Q&A)...Wish they expanded and have a small patio for dogs.
