What a sad disappointment..! We went there hoping to find a fine fish restaurant. It looks good, the decor is mid-century, fine and elegant enough, but the food is sadly not up to par. This is what happened tonight: I ordered the Trout and my wife ordered the Grouper. We also ordered an Italian Pinot Grigio. The results: The waiter (who was very polite and pleasant) brings the bottle of wine. When I see it, it’s pink! Rosé! I hate Rosé and the last time I checked, Pinot Grigio from Italy is always a white wine!!! What the heck? So I had to return it and get an Oregon State Pinot Grigio. This one was actually very good and yes, white.
Then, the fish arrives! Immediately, my sensitive nose detected a foul smell... Even the waiter noticed but, instead of taking the food back and telling us it’s not right, he quietly tells the head waitress or manager, and they both skip away from the table. We are left there with these two plates of fish. I could not figure out what the smell was. Finally, I tasted my wife’s Grouper and, alas, that was it! Rotten, spoiled fish is what we got served..!!! No way?! Yes. We had to call the waiter and return the fish. We were told we would get a new Grouper plate and not to worry. After a certain wait time, the new Grouper fish plate arrives. We are finally going to have dinner..! 👎🏻 Nope. This new one was undercooked! What do you mean that a fish restaurant serves rotten and undercooked fish? 🐠 🐟 🎣We had to also return this plate. At this point, all we wanted to do is leave. The head waitress or manager came to apologize and to tell us we were not going to get charged. Ok. We didn’t. However we went there to have a nice dinner. We didn’t have a nice dinner. It sucked! Our Friday night plans were spoiled, just like their fish. Another restaurant off our list! At this rate, we will soon never leave home to eat out!
