Noble Pie was recommended by a friend of mine who claimed the pizzas were the best in town. Without a doubt, I had to go and try it out. My cousins and I opted for takeout, and although we struggled a bit to find the restaurant, once we located the sign in the alley, we entered into a dimly lit space with moody decor and an open kitchen.
We opted for half/half of two flavours, Sweet Cheesus and Saucy Mama, and a small size of the Brooklyn White. The pizza is all freshly made in-house, and although it comes at a slightly heftier price ($37 and $24), it is completely worth it for the freshness and quality. The server alerted us that the pizzas would take approximately 25 minutes to make, which made sense considering everything being made from scratch.
Well, the wait was worth it. These pizzas tasted divine, especially with the extra side of Mike's hot honey. The Brooklyn White was my favourite especially because of the olive oil base and garlic combined with cheese and caramelized onions was so hard to resist. However, the Sweet Cheesus was also a close second with the hot honey paired together to make a perfect sweet and savoury flavour profile.
I would definitely make a return for this place!
