Nobu Review - The Strip - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"Sure, the venue at Caesars Palace could probably have a more creative name than “The Colosseum,” but it’s simple and it makes sense. We feel the same way about dinner at Nobu. Yes, it’s technically a massive international chain, but it serves consistently great, upscale food and the servers are quick but not rushed if you let them know you’ve got tickets to see Mariah Carey or Journey. It’s definitely pricey, but it always feels celebratory and is approximately a two-minute walk from The Colosseum. Nobu’s known for their sushi, but non-sushi dishes, like the creamy spicy crab or the black cod miso, are worth getting too." - Milena DiFiore

We had the omakase at Nobu in Atlantic City, and it was a wonderful dining experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — truly a treat for the senses. The sake we had was also smooth and delicious, pairing perfectly with the meal. While the food is definitely on the pricier side, it’s expected for a fine dining experience like this, and we felt it was worth it. There was a bit of a delay between courses at one point, but the staff addressed it quickly and professionally, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or when you’re in the mood to treat yourself!

Horrible! One of the worst dinning experiences I’ve ever had, especially on my birthday. My server, Miguel, clearly had a problem with serving me. It took 20-25 minutes for drinks to come to my table. Another 30-40 mins for appetizers and entrees to arrive. Not once did Miguel apologize for the long delay. What was interesting is that I observed Miguel giving great customer service to the table to the left and right of me. He constantly checked on their tables, while skipping mine. Their meals and drinks were served in a timely manner. It’s clear to me that Miguel had a problem with serving my table for whatever reason, I can only assume. As someone who works in the service industry and frequents Nobu locations around the world from Tokyo, Japan, to Cape Town, South Africa, I was throughly disappointed in the service I received. This was not the Nobu experience I’m used to. There is no reason why I should receive poor customer service while spending hundreds of dollars. After I paid the bill, I spoke with a Manager named Ray, who was extremely kind and apologized for my experience. Personally, I will never go to Nobu in Atlantic City ever again. No one deserves to be treated with such poor customer service and disrespect, especially on their birthday.

Google
A Good Meal, but Not the Elevated Experience We Expected My family and I are avid sushi and sashimi lovers. We eat it often and seek out restaurants that offer unique cuts and fish beyond the usual tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. While Nobu did have a slightly broader selection—perhaps three or four more exotic options than a typical sushi spot—I was hoping for a more adventurous variety, especially given the restaurant's reputation. The quality of the fish overall was good, but not uniformly excellent. One piece of toro, for example, was tough with noticeable tendons—something I wouldn’t expect at this level. There were also a few service missteps. Our order arrived incorrectly (a roll instead of a hand roll), and two pieces of sushi were missing. To their credit, the staff fixed everything promptly, but errors like that were surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. In terms of value, it’s hard to justify. At our favorite local sushi restaurant, we typically spend around $175 for three people—including three 300ml bottles of junmai daiginjo sake. At Nobu, the cheapest sake (a basic junmai) was $135. It was good, but certainly not memorable. Our total bill came to $700, plus a $140 tip. We had budgeted for a high-end experience, but what we received—while pleasant—didn’t feel significantly elevated from much more affordable places we frequent. Having traveled to Japan twice, we were also hoping for a bit more authenticity and depth in both the cuisine and atmosphere. In summary: good food, competent service, but ultimately not worth the premium. We left satisfied but underwhelmed.

Google
Restaurant is beautiful and food was amazing; however, Nobu Chicago has much better service. I brought my family in for their first ever nobu visit and was planning to look at the menu and order as we went. This is what I did in Chicago and our server was fantastic. However, at Nobu AC, a side dish ended up on my menu for all of 35 seconds while passing the dishes to my family member and the server asked to take the menu and I said can I please hold onto it to order for them and he said “well can you not use the menu as a base plate then”. It was completely off putting. The plate being on the menu was not in the slightest intentional. I understand this may be a management policy; however, the approach made the experience negative and we promptly skipped to dessert and went to the ocean resort to finish dinner instead. We were originally planning to order several more courses, but the experience had already been soiled. I have attached a photo of the dish that was sitting on menu (by the way the pic was taken after so the menu was not damaged)

Delicious food, but what else was to expect. It was our server, Greg, he was so great to us. Very friendly, even through all of our goofy nonsense. All the thumbs up for his service!

A wonderful place to go for a special event, good for couples or even average size groups. Wonderful service and seafood. We enjoyed our meal so much!

We celebrated my mother’s 62nd birthday at Nobu’s Atlantic City location prior to a comedy show. Our reservation was booked for 5:45, and the show was scheduled for 8PM. The ambiance is modern and upscale, similar to other Nobu locations, but with smaller seating capacity. The ceiling to floor windows create a beautiful view of the Jersey shore. However, on a busy night with limited space, the overcrowding diminished its elegance. Nevertheless, the kitchen remained consistent and every dish far exceeded expectations. The stars of the show were the Branzino and the Eggplant with Miso. The Branzino fell right off the bone and melted into your mouth. Emanuel was attentive, professional, and well versed with the menu. His warm demeanor and keen attention to detail set the tone for what we anticipated being a seamless fine dining experience. However, to no avail of his own service was sluggish throughout the evening. Management was extremely apologetic and informed us of a delay in the kitchen. In attempt to rectify our less than ideal dining experience, we were given a complimentary birthday dessert platter, though it arrived 30 minutes after dinner. We didn’t leave the restaurant until 8:30 PM and consequently feel as though we paid for dessert with our time. All things considered, we enjoyed our celebration and will return—provided we have no commitments afterward.

Yelp
I have to admit, I was initially skeptical about dining here since it's located in a casino in Atlantic City, which doesn't have as many upscale fine dining spots compared to D.C. However, NOBU completely exceeded my expectations! First, be aware that you'll need to walk through Caesars to find the restaurant. When making our reservation, I noted that it was for our anniversary, and upon checking in, everyone at the front area greeted us with "Happy Anniversary," which was a thoughtful touch. While they didn't do anything special at the table or for dessert, the warm anniversary wishes continued even as we were leaving, which added a nice personal touch to our experience. We were initially seated in a busier area, but I noticed some more intimate tables nearby. I asked to be moved, and the staff accommodated us without any hesitation. I wish I could remember our waitress's name because she was incredible! She took the time to walk us through the menu, listened to my flavor preferences, and even suggested dishes I would like more based on what I told her. She was absolutely spot-on with every recommendation. We ordered quite a bit, and by the time the lobster arrived, we were pretty full, but I'm so glad we tried it, it was delicious even later when we couldn't finish it all. The drinks were crafted to perfection as well. Honestly, I regretted going somewhere else to eat on our second night. That meal cost more and didn't even come close to the service or quality we experienced at NOBU. If you're ever in Atlantic City and looking for a fine dining experience, NOBU is a must!

Yelp
Visited for the second time last night and another outstanding and fun meal! Is it expensive? Yes! Is it a unique experience? Yes! Is the food outstanding? Yes! The servers here have been excellent and very, very helpful explaining all their dishes and recommending options from a large menu. My wife is not a sushi eater but eats everything here because it's so scrumptious! Yup, I used that word here. Small plates and flavors abound and we loved it all! Drinks were also great and well priced! $12 for a Nobu Old Fashioned! After dinner we were paying $10 for a Miller Lite at the Toga Bar and $17 for a rum and coke. Won't go back there! Very clean restaurant with diligent service and open kitchen and sushi peeps. Wear your best "night out" attire and enjoy the excellent food you are about to enjoy!

Yelp
I was so excited to take my in laws to Nobu during our trip to Atlantic City but the quality for the price ($1000 before tip for 6 people) was disappointing. The Miso items were too salty and the toro was so tough/sinew-y. It did not melt in our mouths. My mother in law ended up spitting it out because of how chewy it was. The salmon in the salmon avocado was mushed. The only good fishes we had were the uni, salmon belly and scallop. The service and ambiance were great! We brought our baby and they gave us a table to accommodate my stroller/car seat. My whole experience was mid and probably would not come back.

Yelp
Happy Hour at the bar aka Tanoshi Hour. Isn't on the alternate side of the bar from the television. The lighting was low to create a relaxing environment. The bartenders greeted me with a smile and were engaging.i am not a fan of the bar stool. I ordered three bites , honey truffle baby corn, spicy tuna roll and crispy rice with spicy tuna. I was pleased with my choices. The missing component was dessert.

Yelp
Probably one of the best restaurants in AC. Staff is friendly. Food is....it's Nobu, of course the food is good! We had a really nice experience here. If you are not familiar with Nobu, many of the plates are small, sharing plates. The tacos are a favorite. Small, bite sized, but packed with flavor. Our favorite dish was the King Crab Amazu Ponzu. Wow, is it flavorful. I also enjoyed the Black Cod with Miso. For drinks I liked the Matsuhisa Martini - refreshing. Next time I'm in AC I'll come back. Food tips: King Crab Amazu Ponzu Drink Tips: Matsuhisa Martini

Yelp
Absolutely great option for AC where I would say, in general, you are not going to find anything that makes you longing to come back for. That's probably the only reason why it isn't a five-star experience from my point of view. Is it expensive? With memories of the Nobu long ago in NYC (in two different locations long before the likes of Yelp) I would say it wasn't that bad. In translation, yes, pricey, as bad as I remember it being in NYC years ago, not even close. Service was very attentive and the food was not only great but also somewhat unique. The MISO SOUP WITH TOFU is different than what seems to be the norm elsewhere. Something as simple as the EDAMAME was great. NOBU TACOS are a great dish too. Yes, I will be back next time I am in town.

Yelp
This is the best Nobu have been to. The view is amazing & food is consistently amazing. Spicy tuna roll is a MUST. If you haven't tried the miso cod yet, you have to. Nothing about the service stood out to me but they were friendly! I try to go back anytime I'm in town.

Yelp
If you are in AC and budget is no issue, I would say Nobu is absolutely worth a try! It is a renown establishment and would highly recommend trying to get a reservation if you plan on coming here. Dress is smart casual for sure. I DID NOT have the omakase set. This was a dinner with several dishes ordered. I will say it has some hits and some misses. Misses to me are easily the Maki, You are NOT getting a lot of value out of them considering the price. It is standard quantity, and quality is definitely above average but for the price it just is not worth it. Rock Shrimp was crispy and the sauce is tasty. If you really are craving it, it is not a bad choice. Standout for sure is the Black Cod with Miso, that is se magnifique! BEST cod I ever had in my life and that is why it is at least four. Definitely get that for sure and the meat, you can't go wrong with it. Place is very clean and you have an ocean view if you are lucky. Service is straightforward but it can get busy. In my book, a definite try for AC goers. The place is also a great date night!

Yelp
Located inside Ceasers hotel & casino. I just came in and sat by the bar for drinks, While waiting for my friends to arrive. The bartender was very friendly. I ordered smoking aces cocktail it was $17. I would have to come back for dinner n try the amazing good.

Yelp
Had a very enjoyable meal here. Good views, friendly staff. Sushi is very good but very expensive. I've had better at lower by prices but Atlantic City is expensive so I wasn't surprised.
google avatar

Yelp
Phenomenal! Truly have zero bad comments - the food was as good as expected. The white tuna with jalapeños was some of the best I've ever had, along with the wagyu skirt steak. Even simple dishes like the shishito peppers and edamame choclo were elevated and prepared so well. The service was top notch - we ordered a bunch of food and the waiter told us he'd wait to put our sushi in because he had a feeling we'd be very full, and he was right! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The inside decor is pretty standard and trendy.

Yelp
Food the food was great a little pricey, but it's expected to be because it's down the shore. The rooms are beautiful. The view is awesome and the service is outstanding ! I'm on the 43rd floor and the view is breathtaking

Yelp
I have been to Nobu on a number of occasions in other cities such as Las Vegas and San Diego. However, I had never been to Nobu in Atlantic City until this trip. This Nobu is located in Caesars, which is in the center of the Boardwalk. Nobu is located on the same floor as the lobby of the Caesars check-in and the entrance is located among a variety of slot machines. We were seated away from the main dining room, despite having a reservation, and seated in a side room that had a nice view of the ocean. However, we were only a party of two, so I understood seating us at a table of two that was a bit separated from the main dining room. I started off by splitting the field green salad, which the waitress told us was big enough for two people. It definitely was. The dressing had a a kick to it, but it went well with the fresh greens. We also had the edamame chochlo - a nice topping of spices that gave it some spice and flavor. I really liked it! For dinner, I had a variety of pieces of sushi including salmon avocado, tuna and snow crab. They were all really delicious. The fish and crab was fresh, easily chewable and flavorful. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to us the whole night! Altogether, this is a great Nobu restaurant in Atlantic City. You cannot go wrong with going here!

Foo L.

Yelp
After grabbing some quick cash at the roulette table by staying away from Duke of Double Streets and sticking to some Rumple and dozens I was ready for some grub. Nobu was in my sights. "Foo! Long time my friend!" "Ah, yes, too long but I here now!" "Yes you are Mr. Foo, table or bar?" "Bar for Foo!" So, up on the stool I sat and I felt so chic. "What's your bev baby?" "Foo wants a margarita and a beer!" The margarita was delish and Foo wanted some food so I ordered sushi, lobster tempura and the tacos, oh Foo loves the baby tacos! "Foo, you know the tacos have your name on them?" "No, it is really?" But when tacos came I saw no name of Foo on them. Just little crunchies of mouth watering awesomeness. "Foo loves Nobu so much and the tacos are so good, but they don't have no name Foo on them!" "Oh Foo, you are so funny, we at Nobu love you and we always welcome you here!" "You make Foo cry but I will leave bigger stacks of grat because these damn tacos are fire!"
google avatar

Pierre' S.

Yelp
Service was amazing and price for Happy Hour worth it. Every drink was balanced and delicious. Yellowtail was fresh but for HH pricing could be cheaper and edamame was salty. If you're at Caesar's in AC do yourself a favor and stop in. I tried to come two years ago and they were closed so I'm happy I revisited on a day they were open.
google avatar

Yelp
We tried the $150 pp option where they would bring out about 5 dishes according to your "pallet" . The server will discuss with the chef what would be the best for you and bring it out. Although in no way do I believe this really happens, the experience was fun and the server brought out things I probably wouldn't have ordered myself. Although I wouldn't do that option again, I do not regret the experience . I tried the lychee martini but it was too sweet for me ;)

Great experience with top level service. Killer beach view from most tables, food is top notch. Definitely a memorable dining experience. 100% recommend.

Yelp
We came here for my God Son's birthday. We were so excited that there's a Nobu on this side. We wish it was closer to Philly!! When we arrived, we asked to be seated in a good seat and told by the hostess that there weren't any bad seats. Ummmmn We had a crappy table! We were seated right in the area where the wait staff came out from the kitchen. Thee worst seat to have! We tried to get our seat moved, but the hostess said there weren't any seats available. We stayed and tried to enjoy it the best we could. Atmosphere: low lighting and pretty loud. Service: Our server's name was Sean, and he was pretty good. Drinks: 1. Mango Passion, it was good. If you don't like sweet, skip this drink 2. Don Juilo margaritas A. Leche margarita B. Spicy margarita and boyyyy was it spicy! I sipped it, and I think it burned my tonsils! Food: 1. Edamame Choclo, and they were deelicious!! 3. Baby corn: omg!!! Tasty!!! Sweet treat! 4. King Crab taco: subtle taste but enjoyable. Overpriced and very small 5. Lobster taco: same as the king Crab. 6. Nori caviar taco: delightful!! 7. 3 pc Oysters: tender and good! 8. Shiitake Salad with lemon dressing: The mushrooms needed to marinade in the lemon dressing. I had to take it home and marinate them. I enjoyed them!! 9. Crispy rice, 1 with tuna and 1 with avocado and omg!! Wonderful!! We wanted more! 10. Brussel sprouts: I thought they were ok, but others enjoyed. 11. Grilled salmon: it was good and cooked just right. 12. Salmon skin roll: blah!! 14. Yellowtail roll, Toro, and salmon rolls. Wow! In your mouth!!!! 15. Sea bass: so so. We've had better. Dessert: we brought a cake in. There's a $5 cutting fee for each person at the table. Overall, we enjoyed our food and would go back. Suggestion: When making reservations on the open table, be sure to specify where you'd like to sit and NOT sit. The window seats fill up quickly, we were told. I hope you enjoy. Let me know.

Yelp
Our party of 10 received amazing food and service at Nobu last Saturday evening! I made a reservation ahead of time to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday (a credit card is necessary to hold a reservation for a large group). We were seated in a comfortable booth/table with a nice view of the ocean. Excellent! We decided to partake in the Chef's Tasting for the table. We are adventurous, and we don't have any food allergies (the best kind of people to dine with)! The dishes were served family-style, which made it easy for us to sample everything. They considered the size of our group, and the serving sizes were as such. Each dish was better than the next - the flavors and textures married well. Our favorites were the Yellowtail Jalapeño, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Rock Shrimp Tempura with Creamy Spicy Sauce, King Crab Tempura Amazu Ponzu, Lobster Tempura Amazu Ponzu (Half Lobster), and the Nobu Tuna Tacos. Our server was funny and efficient. She ensured our drinks were full and our party was satisfied. We needed to leave ahead of our sushi course, as we had tickets to see The Hook and we needed to get downstairs in time (GO SEE THIS SHOW!). Nobu was kind enough to pack up our sushi rolls and held onto them for us until after the show. This was a great late-night treat, as we all headed back to our boat and chowed down on the delicious rolls. It was such a great evening and I cannot recommend Nobu enough. The team really helped to make my husband's birthday super special. Oh, and their Lychee Martini? The best I've ever had.

Yelp
Nobu is an experience. Our reservation was honored on time. The staff is friendly & professional. The drinks are tasty and the dishes are delectable. Be prepared to order a few dishes if you're after that full feeling. Hope to come back for another special occasion.

Yelp
4 stars is too high and 3 stars is too low. Overall, most of the food was very good. I would skip the tacos - we had the wagyu taco and the caviar taco the wagyu tasted like skirt steak drowned in bbq sauce and the caviar taco was overpowered by guacamole Everything else was great, especially the black miso cod I would skip desserts Nobu is supposed to be upscale but the way people were dressed, made it feel like we were eating in a local diner The staff was very good but we did have one server who had dirty hands and tried to grab the lime slice to squeeze over our food but i stopped him before he could grab it
google avatar

Yelp
We had an excellent experience at this Nobu location last week. Our waitress guided us through the menu and provided thoughtful recommendations. They were able to prepare a delicious mocktail which is always a plus for me! I enjoyed the teriyaki steak and my husband enjoyed sushi. Ambiance can't be beat... beautiful ocean front seating.

Yelp
Love the food, service and atmosphere! Lobster tempura and any one of the tacos are a must! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Came based on reputation and left riffing the famous Peggy Lee lament "Is That All There Is?" The sushi was very good but not otherworldly spectacular as the price point both suggests and demands. Look it's Atlantic City so these gourmand, celebrity chef outposts have more customers than they know what to do with. Service was pleasant and extremely swift giving them a turned table in 60 minutes or less according to my sundial. Bottom line, you're paying for the "privilege" of being there... and gone in a New York Minute. Three unimpressed stars. Unfortunately, That's All There Is.

Sasha P.

Yelp
WOW. We just had the most amazing meal at NOBU in Atlantic City! The last two nights we had a night cap and some sashimi, but tonight we sat down for dinner at the Sushi Bar. Our Sushi Chef, Josh, was a delight and made the experience even more special! The hostess was even kind enough to take our photo with the right lighting. The bar staff was awesome too! Highly recommend the Toro Caviar and lobster ceviche

Yelp
On this trip to Nobu, I went for the TANOSHI HOUR happy hour. It is Wed - Sun from 5pm to 6pm. During this hour, they have discounted drinks and sushi in the bar area only. It's a beautiful bar area with comfy chairs. The bartenders were very friendly and helped me pick out which Sake I would like the best. The avocado rolls were very tasty. And the sake complemented the rolls perfectly. Definitely will go back to try other menu items in the future.

Yelp
Oral symphony!! A magical experience with each plate. Plated as they are ready, fresh and bright not order conscious. Brilliant thanks Chef! David Bello really shined an exemplary mixologist. Totally ruined my whole Yellowtail Jalepeno experince Waygo actually gave me an emotional moment so silky

Yelp
Alex and I usually sit at the bar but we found a small open booth in the bar area DJ was just starting a set Great upbeat vibe Great staff Rachel was a delight and even made a couple suggestions which didn't disappoint and Service as expected We had a lychee martini and small bottle of saki And then the delightful dishes started although not served in this order I am putting our favorites first although very hard to decide as all dishes were truly delicious Lobster tempura beautifully plated over a ponzu broth Toro Tartar with caviar Crispy rice with spicy tuna Wagu taco and king crab taco Scallop special served with sweet and spicy sauce The best part of every plate was the server that delivered them to our table accompanied by his suggestions on how to eat each of them Can't wait to go back Forgot to mention glass of house red which was bold and delish I'm sorry we dug into a few without taking pics

Yelp
We've anticipated the opening of Nobu here in AC for a long time so our expectations were pretty high. While overall there was nothing explicitly bad about our experience, I can't say we found it all that memorable either -- especially compared directly with other very high end sushi experiences. The interior decor is elegant but fairly simple (hard to see why it took quite so long to open) and the soundtrack a bit loud (think "In the Air Tonight" but...ruined with techno beats). Service was friendly but also felt pretty rushed (once it was clear we weren't ordering any more food, it felt like we were being rushed out -- and there were plenty of empty tables). Overall, food was good but not the level of great we'd expect for a)the exorbitant prices (which yes, we knew to expect at Nobu) or b) the restaurant's reputation. Miso black cod was of course the standout -- great flavor, well cooked, a nice portion of fish. Nigiri fish quality was...fine? But had way too much wasabi on it. Baked crab roll, often a standout at similar places, was a bit of a disappointment (especially for $27 for one). Tempura rock shrimp were juicy and non greasy but low on flavor. Glad we tried this new addition to the AC dining scene but for the money, can't say we were overly impressed.

Sari Marissa G.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal and precisely what you would expect and desire from Nobu!! Their signature yellowtail with jalapeno is a must. The sticky rice with spicy tuna is a fun DIY. If you must order edamame, try the charred ones with Peruvian corn! The mini tacos are the perfect bite (must order two). We went with lobster and king crab, and I cannot imagine it getting better than that. The baby artichoke salad with truffle was insane, and if you're thinking, why waste time on that? I did too, and I was wrong. The black cod is another cannot miss. The butter lettuce is the way to go! The shrimp with spicy creamy is a dish we are all familiar with, but still worth ordering. Even the dressed greens underneath are stellar. For dessert, the soba cha brown is unreal if you're a chocolate fan!! Going with their made-for-Nobu sake is what I would start with. The "Devil Killer" was dry and perfect. Don't forget it's bad luck to pour for yourself! Their lychee martini is their most popular, so I highly recommend heading there for the ladies! Service from Alice was impeccable. It was nice to meet the general managers greeting everyone into the space for the first nights. Ressies via Open Table were easy, and they actually read what you write in the notes section, so don't hesitate to let them know any perennate info. You can stop in for drinks at the bar or lounge and order any plates, even full meals, there, so if you are in the area last minute and don't have reservations, definitely try that! It's vibey and lovely, and yes, there's a TV for game-watching. We sat in the "sunroom," which overlooked the boardwalk and ocean. We were able to catch a beautiful sunset. Minor complaints: candles on each table would be so lovely (they have them in the lounge), and don't expect a Malibu crowd or celeb watching. You're definitely going to get tees and jeans and people stumbling off the casino floor using comps, but I say dress the part anyway and make it an occasion!! It was an incredible meal, an awesome date night, and such a special experience celebrating 41. I can't wait to go back! So happy to have Nobu close by!

Yelp
Ruined my friends birthday! We waited so long between our snacks and yellowtail that we got hangry waiting for our hot dishes! It was approximately 50 minutes after they cleared our first dishes that the rest of the food came out. Our server never checked on us in between. I think he forgot about us and never fired our last 3 dishes. Lots of people that came after us were around us getting served their food much more quickly. The food runners were very lovely though. We were still hungry at the end but we didn't want to wait another hour for more food or dessert so we decided to finish here. Kinda crappy for spending a few hundred dollars. (Well over $300 between the drinks at the bar while we waited, then the food and drink at our table). Delicious but entire experience ruined by service. Update, since I wrote the above while waiting for my check. They eventually were very apologetic and sent out 2 desserts on the house. It was nice but I definitely went to Wawa later since it was the only place serving food by the time we got out. And also a larger table (4-5 people) behind us got seated well after us, ate fully, and left before we did.

Yelp
Can never go wrong with nobu. Came here after trying to get a reservation at Izakaya and they were all booked up. We got a spot the day of on Christmas Day at Nobu for 6 people which was really great. The waiters were all so attentive and really made us feel special. The only problem was that they had a shortage of sake and only had one bottle available but luckily for us it was one of the 2 options that we were intending to order. We ordered a bunch of the classics and tried a few new items such as the special boneless short ribs, baby corn, and artichoke salad. All were excellent as of course were the crispy rice and sushi rolls. Surprisingly enough the vegetable roll was one of my favorites. They add a shiso leaf inside which gives it such a refreshing taste to a normal veg roll. Really really delicious. We ended up with a 600 something dollar bill and were so shocked by that we all thought it would've been at least 900$ minimum. Definitely will be back as we enjoyed every second!

Yelp
Went for a quick trip to AC. Decided to try Nobu. ( our favorite AC restaurant Buddakan had sadly closed during Covid). I had the Black Miso Cod and Baby Artichoke salad which were both delicious. Hubby had the Shrimp and Lobster in Spicy Lemon Sauce. He enjoyed the dish however was disappointed that at $55 it was literally 3 shrimp and 2 bites of lobster. All in all a nice dinner.

Yelp
We were staying at Caesar's for a birthday get away and decided to celebrate at Nobu. We made reservations on open table and at the time it only had open seating for the bar area. When making reservations be aware if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance you will be charged $25 per person. Upon arriving for our reservation at 830 pm it wasn't busy at all so they sat us in the dining around where there is a view of the ocean. It was night time so there wasn't much to see. We brought a bottle of champagne with us knowing there would be a corking fee but we did not expect it to be $50 so we opted not to open the champagne but they were nice enough to still set it on ice for us so we could enjoy it later. We ordered a spicy tuna roll, miso soup, and the grilled salmon. All of the food was delicious. I know miso soup is so simple but this was the best miso soup I've ever had the broth was so rich and packed with flavor. The salmon we ordered was cooked perfectly and we ordered both sauces on the side and put both on the salmon. All in all we had a great time and may even try the one in Malibu CA when we get back home.

Yelp
Everything we ate was so good and I forgot to take pictures. The ambiance was great but the music was a tad loud. Joel was our server and he was very attentive and provided great service. We had the miso soup, baby corn, miso eggplant, shrimp tempura, garlic shrimp and donuts for dessert. I'd recommend everything we ordered. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

Yelp
07.12.2023 Wednesday. Reservation table for 2 @8:45pm Great and friendly service. I didn't like my Beef Toban Yaki sauce. It have light smell of something and a sour taste to it. The would recommend the menu to describe the sauce or ingredients of the hot dishes. The Seafood Soup taste as Thai Tom yum soup. No comment on the sashimi and hand roll as I did not try. Overall I don't see what the vibe of this brand NOBU as is not any better of most unbranded Japanese restaurant out there.

Yelp
What can I say except everything was amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartenders made sure I was taken care of. I had the happy hour menu with Brussel Sprouts and of course had to have sushi. I can see why Nobu has its reputation. I also liked the restaurant decor.

Yelp
Wow, this was such a wonderful and pleasant surprise! We didn't realize that Nobu was open for mothers day for a special brunch tasting menu, but boy are we glad! The family style tasting menu came out quickly and all at once, looking aesthetically pleasing and Instagram-worthy! Everything was extremely tasty, where the flavors danced from mildly spicy, citrusy, salty, charred and sweet! The staff were so sweet, where when I accidentally knocked down our mimosa, they helped us clean it up and also replaced our drink! They replaced our dishes and utensils promptly and were so warm and friendly! Definitely 5* service, where multiple staff came and served us throughout our whole dining experience. The soft shell crab Benedict and chirashi was our definite favorite, with the crab and sashimi being so incredibly fresh! Highly recommend trying them out for they always do their best to serve their diners and provide the best service possible, will definitely come back for their regular menu next time! Thank you Alexandria, Adrian, and the sweet waitress who was kind enough to help us wipe our accidental spillage; your service is reflective of what exemplary service looks like! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Yelp
I can't recommend this restaurant enough as everything from the vibe and service to ofc the food was amazing. Our server's name was Pimwee and we will request her every time going forward as she was super friendly and incredible at her job, def an integral part in ensuring that our dining experience was top notch! While my husband and I are both vegan, Pimwee literally went thru the entire menu and let us know the tweaks that the kitchen could make in order to veganize the dishes. She was awesome! And while the food is pricey, it's worth every penny. From the crispy rice avo bites to the cauliflower with dill sauce, each plate was better than the last. 10/10! *Only advice is to have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu

Yelp
Extremely expensive. Dinner for 4 with 2 bottles of wine was over $900. WAY overpriced!

Yelp
Wow, can it be just one word review? You get what you pay for, still too short? In summary . . . I read the review and was a bit concerned about the service but our waiter was very informative and helpful. So glad we went because the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered and shared tapas sizes 2-hot, 2- cold, 2-salmon roe sushi, 2-uni sushi, mini donuts (4 in one order) and carpaccio (just for me) and this was just right amount of food for us. They recommend ordering 3-hot and 3-cold then order sushi, but you are in charge and order whatever you want! Recommend? Guess
