We have loved Nobu in the past. The resort and service have gone downhill since our last visit. Booked a birthday trip for my wife and booked the birthday package which included a room upgrade. We arrived at 1 pm and did t get in the room until 8 pm with our bags. They offered us champagne as a reconcile but we don’t drink so they took it away and that was it. On her birthday we booked a massage. The room was ice cold and e couldn’t move because it was a couples room. We froze the entire time. Afterward there was no hot water in either locker room and the hot tub was broken. We asked for maid service multiple times before we left the room for the day and returned to not having the fresh room. More apologies but not changing experience. At the end we were offered no reconciliation and when I mentioned our displeasure we met a manager who did take some of our food bill away, although we didn’t get close to our food service minimum anyway on the birthday package. The resort is staffed with junior managers so you can tell they’ve lost trained personnel to other high end resorts. Overall you can do much better for the cost. We won’t be returning

Nobu Los Cabos was truly one of the most stunning places we’ve ever visited. Beyond the breathtaking architecture and the most beautiful hotel design we’ve seen, it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. We felt completely at home thanks to the incredibly attentive and genuinely kind staff.||The highlight of our experience was without a doubt our personal concierge, Yessica. She took care of us with such warmth and dedication, fulfilling every wish before we even had to ask. We will miss her deeply.||The food at every restaurant was world-class – without question, some of the best cuisine we’ve had anywhere in the world. The level of excellence in each kitchen was absolutely remarkable.||If I could, I would move in permanently. It simply felt like home – a true retreat for the soul.

We have been fortunate to have traveled to a lot of luxury destinations for rest and relaxation over the years, but nothing, I repeat, nothing compares to Nobu Los Cabos. This last trip was our second time in just six months (we went in Feb). This trip was a celebration of our 28th wedding anniversary. ||First, it’s the people. Every single person you come in contact with at Nobu Los Cabos (and I mean EVERY person) is consistently kind, authenticity gracious, attentive and warm. Nobu Los Cabos doesn’t feel like mass “trained” customer service. It feels like an ingrained way of life. You’re given a personal concierge at your arrival. This last trip we were lucky enough to get Stephano assigned to us. No one embodies the Nobu Los Cabos ethos better than Stephano. His kindness, responsiveness, availability, and impeccable attention to detail made our stay perfect. He never missed a beat and over-delivered on our expectations for our entire stay!||The second thing is the entire design philosophy and system of this property. From the physical architectural design of all the exterior and interior building structures to the design of the culinary experience throughout the property. Everything is purposeful and thoughtful. It’s Baja desert meets Japanese garden. If you’re someone who appreciates design like me, you’ll love how Nobu Los Cabos is unapologetically like no other global Nobu property—a perfect expression of “less is more” minimalism, simplicity, serenity and calmness. ||We did a deluxe king with a private pool facing the ocean, which makes a huge difference in the experience, as they’re always heated to perfection. Although we do love the two main pool areas (they’re never too crowded), they’re a bit too cold for our taste. A great alternative is hitting up a reservation at the private adult-only infinity pool experience at the Nami restaurant. We also highly recommend the Esencia spa experience.||Lastly, the food, the food, the food. Every meal, across every restaurant option (Nobu, Muna, Ardea, Pacific, Nami, Playa) we’re always consistently on point. The miso cod at Nobu, the short rib at Ardea, the beef filet at Muna and the avocado pizza at Playa were all standouts for us (but honestly, nothing we ordered was off). We’ve already booked our next trip back again!

Beautiful hotel. Karla Z. was our Ambassador for the duration of our stay. She was amazing. If we needed anything from buckets of ice to changing/making reservations for dinner and even setting up transportation to the Marina, she was efficient, accommodating and knowledgeable. She truly made our stay at the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos special and memorable. We could not have asked for a more attentive Ambassador. Thank you Karla for an amazing trip!!||Karla also made sure that all of the restaurants knew about our dietary restrictions (tree nut allergy and gluten allergy). We have NEVER been to a resort, cruise, vacation where the establishment cared so much about food allergies. The replacements for bread, pasta and gluten free soy sauce and Japanese sauces was out of this world. It was literally like eating foods with gluten in them. At the Nobu Restaurant on property, 90% of our dishes came gluten free with gluten free soy sauce and ponzu sauce. The wait staff at Nobu's as well as the other on-property restaurants made sure to describe the dishes for us, and reassured us that the dish was gluten free-for example gluten free croutons in the caesar salad, freshly made gluten free bread at the beginning of the meal, and gluten free pasta to name a few.||A truly amazing vacation.

Hotel was beautiful! Staff were lovely and kind. The gym was very nice. We thought the Nobu restaurant was outstanding and the view of the ocean from there was fantastic. We didn’t think the food at the other restaurants was worth the high prices. It’s a great idea to rent a car so you can go other places. My massage at the spa wasn’t great. We attended the presentation for the “residences” which was our most disappointing experience. We indicated we were ready to leave after 2 hours and they continued to send 2 more sales people over to present new offers. We felt very trapped. I don’t think a luxury hotel should be doing that to it’s guests. We were paying for the hotel and indicated we were ready to return but they wouldn’t listen to us.

We visited Nobu Hotel Los Cabos for our anniversary, expecting a peaceful and luxurious escape — unfortunately, it was anything but.||||Let’s start with the most shocking part:||During check-in, a woman was standing behind us, eavesdropping and taking notes. We later found out she was a salesperson for the Nobu Residences, evaluating whether we were potential buyers. She introduced herself and immediately began asking very personal questions, which made us feel interrogated rather than welcomed to a holiday. She then pitched us a “special offer” — $500 cash and a free breakfast if we attended a presentation about the residences. We said we weren’t interested, but she insisted and called our room early at 8 AM a few days later.||||We reluctantly agreed to go, but were shocked when they handed us a 10-page form asking for personal financial details including base salary and which credit cards we had (surprisingly not the credit score or SSN). We refused to complete the form. She came back a few minutes later pushing the same questions and warned us the session would take “half a day,” despite originally promising just 75 minutes. It felt like a scam, not a genuine offer and was incredibly disappointing to be targeted while on vacation.||||Now about the room:||I had booked one of the hotel’s top-tier rooms (the second best they offer), and explicitly confirmed twice that we wanted privacy. When we entered, the room had a strong musty odor, the furniture felt old, and the curtains were dusty. The room overlooked a pool with 50+ people and a DJ blasting music, which meant zero privacy. This was the complete opposite of what we were promised.||||When I brought this up to reception, I was met with an arrogant response: "This is the room you booked." After negotiating, they offered a double downgrade, which we refused. We accepted a lesser downgrade only because it offered the privacy we originally requested. No refund was offered at first , I had to chase them repeatedly during my holiday to get it. The manager was constantly “unavailable” and I was told she was gone for 10 days. I eventually when I asked to speak to the general manager, the manager was suddenly available but only spoke to us three days later and offered a refund of just $50 per day — a gesture that felt dismissive. ( Never heard from the GE) ||||Service and atmosphere:||Reception staff felt fake and disingenuous, often whispering among themselves, and the energy was uncomfortable. One night, turn-down service woke me up at 10 PM, which is unacceptable at a hotel of this level.||||The restaurant and room service teams, on the other hand, were outstanding. The food across every restaurant was exceptional, and the staff were warm and genuine. Nobu was our favorite — though we had asked for a sunset view and were seated next to a construction area, which took away from the experience.||||Special shoutout to Brian at the gym, who was truly the highlight of our stay. We booked daily workouts and were never disappointed.||||However, beware — everything comes with an “extra” charge, even basic sauces like chimichurri. We joked about how often we heard the phrase “that’s extra.”||||Lastly, the atmosphere was dominated by wannabe Instagram influencers taking constant photoshoots, and loud iPads at breakfast blaring cartoons while parents sat unbothered. It just didn’t feel like a luxury escape.||||Bottom line: I would not recommend Nobu Hotel Los Cabos.||Behind the fancy branding, it felt cheap, aggressive, and inauthentic. The sales tactics were intrusive, the service inconsistent, and the overall experience did not live up to the Nobu name or the price tag.

What a stunning hotel!! The hospitality was outstanding, the cleanliness was undeniable, and the ambiance was superb! Anyone who approached you was incredibly kind, and even if you did not approach any staff, they still smiled at you, greeted you, and gave you the right away to show how important you are as a guest. The spa was fantastic with numerous amenities to use, the restaurants were all so lovely from the staff, to the freshness of the food and the wonderful flavors, to how well kept everything looked! I felt so relaxed on my three night stay and I am already wanting to go back!! Thank you for such a beautiful stay, Nobu Los Cabos!!!!

Pros: The property was beautiful, clean, and room service was very attentive. Staff was great honestly. Cons: -The food is overpriced for the quality. 5 people in our group were food poisoned and weren’t offered any sort of compensation other than a late check out. We still were charged for the food that got us sick and my roommate is pregnant so we would think at least comping the meal would’ve been offered. -The pools are not heated which is unfortunate because this resort (from what I experienced, read and heard) is always windy and cold. PACK WARM CLOTHES and don’t expect to go lounging or swimming on the beach. -Lots of weddings are hosted here so if you’re looking for a relaxing time, book far away from where they host their parties and receptions. It’s LOUD and they run until after 10-11pm. -All around is under construction so there nothing to do and no where to go unless you travel 30+ mins. So get a rental car or pay the outrageous prices. -They also charged us extra for a room to add a third person which didn’t really make sense because it was the smallest standard room without even a couch. I’ve had better stays at all inclusive resorts nearby for half the price.

Yelp
I love Nobu and this particular location is so remote they have a hotel and a Hard Rock on the same property. It is a solid 40 minute Uber ride from Pedregal so be prepared for an adventure driving through the streets of Cabo. It's less than 8 miles but the roads are pretty rough. If you're staying here, it's a beautiful restaurant so you don't have to worry about anything. It was dark so I couldn't enjoy the ocean view. The hostess seemed sweet and sat us outside. The food is always delicious and my 2 favorite dishes, gluten free Nobu style salmon sashimi and spicy tuna off the crispy rice were perfect. The service was sorely lacking and our waiter couldn't wait to clock out. None of the employees had the cheerful Nobu attitude and that was disappointing. They were just doing their job and still expected a big tip. I probably wouldn't come back unless I stayed at The Nobu Hotel or the Hard Rock which is also on this gorgeous area.

Yelp
The only positive attributes about this place are the delicious food and beauty of the property. Now for my laundry list of complaints. There were so many complaints I may forget some. 1) Check-in issues - Check-in takes far too long. You are assigned a "personal concierge," who is actually everyone else's concierge as well, to take you to your room. It took over 30 minutes for ours to appear and take us to our room. When we arrived at our room, our luggage took another 30 minutes to arrive. All I wanted was a shower after a long day of travel. As other's have pointed out, this place is about an hour from SJD airport but is not a complaint because I knew this going in. 2) Private pool not heated - Our private pool was supposed to be heated but was not heated until our last night at Nobu Los Cabos. Skip the private pool until they resolve this issue. 3) Technology and phone issues - The tablet/remote in our room would not charge. We tried to call the front desk to have them resolve the issue but guess what? The phone in our room would not work. We had to get out of bed, put clothes on, and walk to the front desk for help. The front desk was useless. He called our phone and said it rang so it must work. Wrong! It still didn't work when we got back to our room, but we were so far from the front desk that we didn't want to walk back. The front desk associate promised us IT would come by the next day to resolve the issue. Nope, IT never came to check on the phone or tablet. 4) Room smelled - The room smelled musty and damp, likely because the restrooms do not have fans in them to remove humidity and smells. Think about that if you are staying with a partner and want to do your business without a smell disturbing your partner who is only a few steps away. Either run the AC 24/7 or keep the patio door open all the time to help with the smells. 5) Price gauging and overcharging - They added charges to our bill on at least two occasions. The first was for in-room dining and the last was on our final bill. The first was just an extra entree we didn't order. The last was a random $150 charge for I don't even know what. Everyone checking-out when we checked-out was dissecting their bills, so I assume these charging discrepancies were not isolated incidents. Pay attention to all of your bills at this place. We were excited to attend the NYE party at M Bar only to find out that it was not a free party for guests. Guests had to pay $150 per person to attend the NYE party. We opted to watch fireworks on the beach instead. 6) Terrible service - There is never a shortage of servers and yet service is painfully slow. The most helpful people on the property seemed to be the lifeguards, as I had to leverage them to flag down servers on numerous occasions. 7) Lights in the restroom would turn on and off randomly while in the restroom. This place is not worth the price given the issues we experienced. I highly recommend skipping this property. We have no plans of ever returning.

Yelp
The resort is beautiful, loved the architecture and the Japandi vibe it had going on. Super minimal and gorgeous. Everything was very clean. We stayed in a swim up room and it was lovely. Service was so fast and attentive. Staff were extremely friendly. I'm mainly basing the review on aesthetics and service. Had dinner at the Nobu Restaurant, it was mid, I've also been to a different Nobu and same, food is mid. Food around the resort is nothing crazy, but also not amazing for the price. You don't really have many options unless you want to venture out to town. (You can't order an Uber to pick you up from the hotel, I imagine some security issue-- they can drop you off, though). Go here if you just want to lounge and be low key. The vibes were very couple-y.

Yelp
This place is just coasting off the Nobu name. If you want to pay $650/day (not including tax & fees) to get a a room that stares at a sand dune that is 15 ft higher than your room, this is the place. Well, who doesn't want to argue with desk staff who just shrug when you show them the photos from their site which clearly don't match the actual view from the room. Skip it.

Yelp
The bottom line is that this place is way overpriced. There was a leaking faucet and broken TP holder in our room. Service was not attentive. At the pool, many staff members who were servers were just standing around and after no one came to ask if we wanted anything (which we did), I asked one if I could get a menu, and was told to wait for the waiter assigned to my region of the pool. I proceeded to wait another 10 min, and still no one came, but there were 3 servers a mere 20 feet from me. When I asked if I could just get a menu while I waited for whoever was assigned to my area, I was again told to wait. I waited another 10 min, and since I had a 2 year old who was very hungry, I went to the bar to go and get a menu for myself and ordered the food there. I got a mini pizza and poke bowl, and when the outrageous $70 check came with an automatic added gratuity, which was so frustrating because I would not have given any gratuity for the junky service. It looks esthetically nice and it is very quiet. No activities, so although it says family-friendly, it really isn't. I would not go back

Yelp
Enjoyed the zen architecture and how minimalist everything is. It was definitely a quiet and calming stay - which I don't recommend if you are looking for any type of activities at night. The food here isn't bad per se but between $300-500 per meal for 2 people (at their Nobu, Ardea, and even the more casual Nami restaurants), you kinda expect more, especially given it is Mexico. For price comparison, eating at Nobu restaurant here is twice the cost of the one in Palo Alto (and Palo Alto isn't cheap). You'll likely want to eat at the restaurants property because it takes like 20 minutes to get out of the premise with all of the windy roads. All things considered, there are plenty of other excellent options Cabos where you get more value for the money.

Yelp
How do I begin? Great entrance, great bar! Then we get to the table and it's where it all melts down. For background purposes I have been here over 20 X and it's always been great. Tonight might have been a 1 off but when I spoke to manager upon leaving he was completely out of line and unprofessional. Let me start: upon sitting down the waiter came over to take drink orders - All Good. Then we ordered some Sake and drinks and that was all good. Then we went to order and everything went we thought as planned. This was the order: Caesar salad for two, miso soup, sashimi for two people, wagyu 6oz, fish and chips, vegetarian dishes to include avocado/cucumber sushi, and order of Brussels sprouts . All ordered at the same time The food was excellent and my complements to the chef. The food came out as follows Fish and Chips, Miso soup and sashimi, then sushi . Then the Wagyu and steak. 30 min later the ceasars salad came out. We then got the Brussels sprouts after we got the bill and asked why? They then brought a new waiter over and the manager. The waiter attempted to strong arm us and intimidate but it was laughable at best. The GM was completely unprofessional and afterwards I went to talk to him and told him this was probably a one off bad night and we should just move on! I presented my hand to shake his hand and let's move on. He said get out and cursed at me! I said come on, let's move on and he proceeded to berate me and cuter at me and I then got upset and regret saying what I said but it was worth it! I go to Nobu all over from Malibu to Bahamas to Vegas to other places and this is the worst experience ever. This is not because of Valet, reception, food, or bar! This is solely about The strong Arm waiter and the manager. He wasn't reasonable and he was completely out of lie. On every level. I still think this is a great place but just watch out for the Manager and his strong arm who likes to threaten customers Robert

Yelp
I stayed here for a week with my 3 nieces, to celebrate a graduation. Our 2 double queen, pool & ocean view rooms were Japanese elegance & comfort. Each room had a sofa that easily would have slept one more adult too. Bathrooms - double sinks, deep wood soaking tub, double shower heads w/drain in the floor, separate door to enclosed toilet room, toothbrushes, shaving & sewing kits Room - spa robes, slippers, Nespresso, tea kettle & teapot, minibar snacks/drinks/bottles of alcohol, beautiful balcony w/sofas, blackout curtains, tv, landline, ceiling fan, Nobu cookbook The beds, linens & pillows were unbelievably comfortable. We all slept amazingly here. We were given a personal concierge to text w/any questions or requests. Free flowing filtered bottled water was easy to request, as was extra pillows, dining reservations, taxi requests, food or any area recommendations, etc. The gym offers nut & dried fruit snacks & a filtered water dispenser where you can refill the metal Path water bottles that are $10 in the room. The spa has lovely little seedy granola bar snacks. Every afternoon, there was a special yummy sweet (chocolate dipped brownie, macaroon drizzled in chocolate, churro, alfajor, frosted chocolate cupcake) and a savory little bite (cucumber salad, mini empanada) passed around the pool area. We signed up for a morning yoga class, & after applying our spa credit that came with our rooms it was $15/person. Our class was just us 4, & held on a covered, wood deck outside the gym, with lots of air (wind) circulating. Our instructor played music & led us in a gentle flow that she also tailored towards beginner through advanced moves as she observed our various levels. The property is beautiful & so clean. There are 3 pool areas w/cabanas, jacuzzis, & towel/drink/food service. Sun here is very strong but because this side of Cabo is always very windy, the June temperatures never felt very warm (it was high of 90-92 in town) & I also never detected one single mosquito or really any bugs (except for flies, that are attracted to any food). We did feel cold bc of all the wind, but it was still so lovely everywhere. Note that your hair will get messy! We saw 2 beautiful weddings with the ocean as their ceremony background while we were here, w/receptions in a protected outside patio area, so it is a truly gorgeous setting. We are picky food people with high taste, & were all extra impressed w/the service, food quality & variety & presentation, cocktails & mocktails at ALL the restaurants on the resort. Pricey yes but all very well worth it! Note - a 15% service charge is included at all the restaurants. We did consider upgrading to the (first floor) swim-up rooms - those pools connect w/your neighboring swim-up rooms, & are separate yet connect to one of the resort pool areas. I preferred our 4th floor room views though, so I'm glad we didn't choose to upgrade. We did see a few young children & tiny babies, but I would say this is more of an adult resort than a family destination. There were no activities for kids, or kids dining menus that we saw. It is widely understood that you cannot go in the ocean here (as with many other resorts), & just be aware of the constant wind. We heard howling wind all day & night long from inside our room, even with the patio door & heavy blackout curtains closed but our other room was eerily quiet - no wind noises whatsoever! I personally loved the white noise, but everyone is different. This is a wonderful resort to really relax in & I highly recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful resort!!. It's not for teens and children, but if you want a true resort for adults, this is the place. I am incredibly impressed with their attention to details and customer service. There are six restaurants on site, and I've not had a bad meal while there. The food range from Nobu, Mediterranean, Mexican, and seafood. It's far from the maddening crowd and cruise ship ports of other Cabo hotels. In fact, it's inside a guard gated community and there's a long drive to get to it from the main road. You can't swim in the beaches due to very strong wind and undercurrents. But the pools are heated, with attentive food and drink services. It's expensive to go to downtown Cabo from the resort ($44 by taxi because although Uber can drop you off at the resort, they can't pick you up). It's chilly at night here even in the summertime so bring some warm clothes. It's a great resort for adults to relax and recharge. The food is terrific, the service is world class, and the sunsets are gorgeous. The concierge can assist you with planning excursions and activities. I heard in September & October you can see whales off of the shores of the resort. There are pickleball courts too.

Yelp
Absolutely adored the hotel, but I would stay away from the food and personally I did not enjoy the Nobu lobby. The good: Service: Stellar - immediately upon stepping on their hotel grounds, you are greeted by their friendly staff and welcomed with a wet towel to wipe off any sweat & offered a very delicious and refreshing matcha lemonade to quench your thirst - My concierge at NOBU assisted with coordinating getting us to and from restaurants, events, and even drove us in a golf cart upon request. Stephano always tried to do whatever he could to assist and I never heard "no" throughout our week long stay. We got his direct number to text him no matter if it was after dinner or during the day, and we never had to wait more than 20mins for a reply back to the text. The grounds: Beautiful and zen - concept is minimalist Japanese/Scandinavian style - one con if waking a lot is a problem (but is a pro if you want peace & quiet) is that everything is so far from each other. Be prepared to walk a lot to get to the Nobu restaurant and/or their newly opened Muna restaurant and/or the spa. - unfortunately the Lobby has no air conditioning and being open air concept, we were sweltering from the hot summer humidity The bad: All of their food is overpriced and under delivered - it is just not up to par if you are a true foodie and having no air conditioning in any restaurant just made the experience (& smells) worse. It's very telling when it's not the food's aroma hitting my nose but rather the staff's BO (not their fault, I really don't think it is fair to make them to work in such horrendous heat with no A/C all day long). If you go to the restaurants, your safest bet actually not the cooked food but rather the sushi. Just don't make our mistake of ordering cooked seafood- the $90 lobster we ordered was frozen and lacking in taste. The total experience: A really great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Let me tell you, it was a great experience. It is pricey and not an all inclusive, but you get what you pay for in terms of accommodations, the spa, & service. The next time I come back, I'll reserve my stomach real estate for some actually delectable food somewhere else. I gotta say I am absolutely impressed with their service, they are the definition of what it means to provide excellent service and how to make customers feel valued and catered to.

Yelp
We arrived at between 3 and 4pm. Check in process took over 2 hours. They kept telling me "5 more minutes 5 more minutes" We were told we'd get a phone call when we were allowed to go to our room -because they have to walk you there -you can't go alone. No phone call. After 90 min and $200USD for lunch at Playa Bar ($30 hotdog is not worth it) we went back to the front desk to ask if we could please go to our room. We were told "5 more minutes" Not our bags, but our friend's bags took 45 minutes to show up, after their 2.5hour check in process. Our bathroom sink leaked all over the floor the first time I used it. I let them know, but it was never addressed. We prefer not to have the AC on all the time, but when we turned it off the room smelled musty and moldy. We had upgraded to a room with a private pool. It smelled like manure, to which we were told, "that's not our fault, it's the wind and the property next door" in a way he's right I suppose. Even though we had our own private view of a dirt mound (photo included) we couldn't bare the stench out there. The lighting in the room was terrible. Worse was the power/voltage in the plugs. They were mostly broken. the one that worked took over 8hours to charge a phone. Noe and Jose were pleasant , housekeeping was top notch. But service was crap. How did this place earn 5stars? We decided to fly home early because it was so awful. We were told we would not be refunded for the extra night, but staying was still not worth it. Both front desk supervisors were so full of BS when talking to me. One of them, (A. Gomez I believe is his name ) wouldn't even LOOK ME IN THE EYE! He had his head down during each conversation. The other supervisor Jorge was so disrespectful to me. Told me to "stop speaking ma'am I am talking" Our friends had the same issues in addition to some of their own , but in their case it was the husband to complain. We all agreed he was treated with much more respect and attention. All the 5 star reviews for this place are fake. Especially on the other popular hotel review platform. See for yourself. Devil In The D.

Yelp
It's a long trip to get here and a fairly long taxi ride to the hotel. Most people have had a long day by the time they get here. Sadly the reception is seriously 'D' grade, especially for a 5 star hotel. We waited inline for 40 minutes to check in, possibly 5-6 couples in front of us. Tons of staff no one doing a thing or seeming to care. Finally checked in. We were told a concierge would take us to our room. We waited another 45 minutes for the same people that were looking at their phones to decide to take us to our room. Which we could have easily located if we'd had a key. The concierge was useless, and rude, once in the room we waited another 45 minutes for our bags. So basically 2.5 hours from arriving in lobby to in room so we could take a shower from travel, change clothes and see the beach. When we got to the beach we met a couple who had the same result. The place was not busy, plenty of staff and they absolutely don't give a darn about service. Sad bc the place is beautiful and absolutely incredibly expensive, like it makes Monaco look like a bargain. Muffins are $10. A cheap bottle of wine is $100. Bottom line is, staff doesn't give a darn and it's super expensive. If you are going to spend thousands for a weekend away, expect 5 star service and want to be pampered. Don't do it here.

Yelp
The Hotel ambiance is a very Zen like tropical vibe of Japanese minimalism, mixed with Mexican flair. You cannot stay here on the cheap, that should be given with a name like Nobu. The Great: Muna Restaurant is by far one of the best experiences of my life. the Food is AMAZING, I cannot stress this enough. the Best Hummus I have ever had in the world... and I've had a lot. It's not just that, but you feel so appreciated the entire time. It's a newer restaurant in their residences tower, and I am so happy I found this place. I ate here EVERY single day while or when in Cabo. I can not get enough. The service is Michelin quality, and everyone is friendly. Wines are overpriced, but it is Mexico. The Good: the resort has multiple pools, each with their own vibe and feel. Plenty of food options, and great room service if that's your thing. the design and feel of the resort has clearly been thought out to the finest detail and executed perfectly. They are also always doing maintenance - good and bad - but great to see they keep it looking pristine. The Not so Good: The pricing and upselling of rooms is excessive. also don't get baited into free resort credit to sit in a meeting to buy a residence. They will find a way out of it - frustrating and complete waste of time. The location is down a very long and horrible 2 lane dirt road. You feel like you're going to be dumped in the middle of nowhere, then all of a sudden you are there. It sits right next to the Hard Rock, so that made me feel safer, but overall it's very FAR from the downtown Cabo action. The Bad: if you go in the rainy season, you will likely smell mold in your room... I once had to move rooms 3 times to get a decent one during that time. Did I mention the price? It's pricey. Not Las Ventanas expensive, but close, and not quite on the same level. Their basic rooms are very basic, so you almost need a suite. Just like Japan, the hotels rooms are small, and that's the same here for the basic room. If you need the action of downtown cabo, you will be wishing you stayed not so far away. If you want a zen like retreat away from the bustle, this is it. If you fly into the main airport, be prepared for an hour + drive. If you fly to the new private airport, it's much closer. Perhaps you visit first, and try Muna. :)

Fair R.

Yelp
Probably Cheaper to just go to Japan. Check in: Lengthy & unnecessary. Food: The best part of the experience. Prepare your budget for things like a $29.00 hot dog. Beach/Ocean: May as well be nonexistent Service/Transportation : They are doing you a favor to have you overpay in US dollars. Summary: Left a day early while still being charged, which really sums it up.

Yelp
I'm lowering my 3 star review to 2 Not only was it totally expensive (food delicious, but still poor value)... my son got stuck in the bathroom stall and couldn't get out!!! Also, the busboy poured water into my daughter's half full wine. He then got her another glass, poured out of our bottle! (As they would not open a new one) To compensate, they gave us 4 tiny pours of some champagne for dessert

Yelp
This is a bit of a very specific review based on interactions with the staff. I go to a 5 star hotel and you push a timeshare pitch to me? And not casually, but agressively so, with every chance you get? I expected more from a 5 star place, but apparently not. This is extremely disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at Nobu Los Cabos for our Honeymoon! What a relaxing, beautiful property full of kind and attentive staff. Everybody we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. We have to give a shoutout to Stephano, our local ambassador! He took great care of us our entire stay at Nobu, texting us good morning, making reservations for us, answering our questions, etc. He really goes the extra mile for his clients. We very much appreciated the treats and wooden animals he left in our room. It's little details like these that make a stay special. Our room was spacious and the entire property was extremely clean. Although it is open concept in nature, there were not bugs or flies everywhere, which was so nice! We were comfortable spending time and eating outdoors because the bugs were not bothering us one bit. The housekeeping staff is great and we noticed they checked on our room not once but twice in a day. That is so hard to find these days as many hotels will not clean daily anymore unless you ask. All the servers, hosts, and bussers at every restaurant were lovely. Very attentive and we loved how they cared about the details, like double checking about food allergies. If you have an allergy you can travel here safely because the staff is so caring and they all communicate notes well. Many times at the restaurants they checked with us first before we even said anything regarding the allergies. Truly, Nobu is the best hotel we have stayed at. We can't wait to return. The cost is absolutely worth the value, amenities, and incredible service you will get here. It feels impossible to go back to the average hotel after experiencing this. Thank you to everyone at Nobu for a great Honeymoon!

Yelp
We honestly had a fantastic time at Nobu Los Cabos. Grounds were amazing, not crowded, relaxing, food and drinks were great, and we loved our room. Now for the unfortunate part... Upon our departure, we had transportation pre-scheduled. The bell desk told us to wait in the lobby and that they will come get us when our car arrived. At departure time, the bellmen came to the lobby to retrieve us, introduced us to the driver, and put our bags in the car. Sadly, we found out halfway through our drive that the bell desk put our bags and family in the wrong car. We had to pay an additional $135 out of pocket in order to not risk missing our flight, as our correct driver had already left the Nobu hotel at that point. I don't know how the bell desk put us in the wrong car considering there are two checkpoints leading into the hotel. We kindly asked that were simply reimbursed the $135 for the bell desks mistake, as putting us in the wrong vehicle is a mistake we wouldn't expect a luxury hotel such as Nobu would make, especially considering we had our young 6 year old daughter with us. After a multitude of follow-ups with no response, a manger finally got back to us. He said he would like to pay us in good faith, but needed to complete an investigation into what happened. After weeks of following up with no response, the manager finally got back to us again and blamed the driver and would only give us a room credit for another stay. This is not acceptable, as it doesn't make sense for us to spend another $5000 for a small room credit. A $135 reimbursement is pennies for a global brand of hotels, so the hard stance here makes no sense. We will no longer take our friends, families, or partners to any AIC hotel locations.

Yelp
Overrated but if you would like someone secluded with overpriced sushi then this is your place. Maybe better for a place in middle of back dirt roads to get to and if you're wanting to be away from Marina life and close to other things. Nice place but rooms at other places impressed more. I could get a suite at any casino or hard rock and it would be better. As much as I think of some high profilers I don't need to stay at a place like this just to say I went where they were. ‍

Yelp
I booked a short stay here for my birthday as I love nobu restaraunts. When I first arrived staff was amazing and this place is truly breathtaking. Checking in was quick and easy. I paid the $5 fee with cash and was not given a receipt which at the end they tried to charge me again for. Some things just weren't clearly explained as far as asking to put your card on file $500 for incidentals. Turned out that included food but food doesnt seem like an incidental. This only was a problem because I opted to do the free breakfast and learn about the residencies and I recieved a $200 food and beverage credit but you need to put the $500 card down to use it so make sure you do that. My room was so clean and absolutely minimal but gorgeous. I had a view of the pools. The housekeeping come by twice a day and they tidy up and clean really nice. You also get your own personal ambassador which mines was Ignacio who you can text and ask about questions or accommodations. I also had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for me in my room. One of my favorite things is the Nobu beach bag it was cute and came in handy. The pools here are breathtaking and there is so much to explore. They also have game areas as well. You can book accommodation through them as well. I truly believe they try to make your stay as amazing and easy as possible.

Yelp
The property is beautiful and the pools are nice and clean. However we had many issues here. The service wasn't good considering the amount of money you pay to stay here. There are often many people standing around not willing to help. We had to find someone and flag them down each time. They share all the tips so they aren't motivated to work. Halfway through our stay the remote and phone stopped working so we had to walk to the front desk if we needed something. There was someone's old hair stuck to the side of our sink from a previous stay. The manager said he would send someone to fix the tv but never did. You're just a number to them. We also had a random $150 charge on our bill when we were checking out that said "SPA FCA" but we never used the spa so they quickly took it off, maybe hoping we wouldn't notice. Everything on site is ridiculously overpriced even a bottle of water is $20. I highly suggest going to the grocery store on your way there and bringing lots of water, alcohol and snacks. Also getting out of town was $45 for the ride (uber can't come to pick you up they have to call someone else) and about 30 min away. The beach is gorgeous but you can't get in the water due to strong currents. The restaurants on site were delicious but expect to spend $$$. We will not stay here again.

Yelp
Long overdue review! Idk why I didn't leave one sooner. I came here a couple years ago for my mom's 40th birthday and it was honestly an unforgettable experience! The staff treated us really well. We were assigned our own butler during our stay. Everything here was super zen vibes and very quiet. We went in December. The food was SO delicious!! I still crave it til this day and can't wait to be back! (See photos!) Of course everything is on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth a visit at least once in your life :)

Yelp
Wow! This beautiful magical resort was amazing. The scenery, ambiance, service and the food was out of this world. We stayed in a suite and it was luxurious and spacious with our own huge patio that opens up and have this spectacular view of the ocean. We got to see the whales everyday. It was so tranquil and relaxing. Every restaurant we tried was over the top. Worth the money spent. If you're looking for a high end resort, you found it.

Yelp
Beautiful property in a gated community of Los Cabos. It is a bit of a drive from the airport so plan accordingly. Once you arrive you are in paradise. If you are looking to go into town often this might not be the resort for you. This property is great for adults and those who are looking for a bit of luxury. It is not all inclusive and meals can get pricey but the food is delish. The hotel focuses on simple, clean and minimal vibe. Plus the Nobu restaurant is right on property to enjoy during your stay. Have a great trip!

Yelp
This place is exactly what you'd expect from Nobu. If you enjoy the following then you'll love it here at Nobu. If you want to be charged an arm and leg for food and drinks, come here. If you want to be forced to use mafia Taxi service instead of Uber, come here. If you want zero planned activities, come here. If you want to be hit up multiple times for timeshares, again, come here. If you want high winds 24 hours a day then please you must come here. I know I will never come back here again.

Yelp
5 % Nobu was a wonderful experience, the food was all recommended & hand picked by our server, we tried about 10 different things, we enjoyed everything about the restaurant.

Yelp
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! TO start off with, Irwing the hotel check in receptionist was by far the rudest employee on the premises. He Kept charging my card without explaining, when I asked for a supervisor, he ignored me. Never received explanation and am left in the dark. The room smells like moisture or mold. I would not recommend staying here at all. STAY AWAY!

Yelp
1. This location is incredibly inconvenient. 2. They are VERY MISLEADING with respect to available seating. No reservations available online but upon arrival the restaurant was 1/2 empty 3. My wife and I have both been dealing with very unsettled stomachs ever since we left 2 days ago. 4. This was my 4th time to a Nobu, but my experience here was terrible compared to other locations. 5. You're almost made to feel by staff/security as if you are lucky to be here but it was unquestionably the worst dining experience of our entire trip to Cabo.

Yelp
10/10 If I ever go back to Cabo, which I will, this will be the only place that I stay. The location is very secluded, which is great for safety. Every inch of this luxury resort is a photo opportunity. & from the moment you arrive they call you by your first name. I don't know how they all remember everyone, but they do! The resort is so perfect that you never really have to leave. I enjoyed breakfast/brunch at Malibu Farms, lunch/dinner at Pacific, and dinner at Nobu. All meals were 10/10! The drinks were nice as well. I had a tequila/mezcal flight at the pool with guac and chips! They also have a drink called an espresso mojito and IT IS delicious. I was obsessed with the flavor. I ordered one every day that I was there. I was so sad that I couldn't find the drink anywhere in the states. I asked at several different Nobu locations, including Malibu and Georgetown. I also requested the drink at Malibu Farms in Malibu and in Miami with no luck. I love coffee so this was like an espresso martini times ten! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Cabo.

Yelp
This is my 4th stay at Nobu Los Cabos and this will be my last stay here. My experience at this Nobu has caused me to never return to a Nobu Hotel or restaurant ever again. TLDR: from the moment you walk into this hotel you will be sold on anything and everything until the moment you leave. From being sold a timeshare AT CHECK-IN to $50 hamburgers (see menu) to having to pay minimums to be able to sit by certain pools. If you don't enjoy that on a vacation as I don't, do not come here. I came to this Nobu in January 2020 on its soft launch and had an amazing experience that caused me to come back 3 more times. On my 4th stay, I even brought my entire family with me on what was supposed to be a relaxing thanksgiving holiday. My latest experience was anything but and I'm embarrassed that I made the recommendation for us all to come here. It all starts before you even get to your room. I spent hours traveling to Cabo and was so excited to immediately get to my room, change into my swimsuit, and get the last few hours of daylight. As I gave my information at check in, I was told that my room wasn't quite ready yet (it was 4pm, well past check in time) and was ushered with what seemed to be a hotel concierge to get a tour of the hotel. Instead of a tour, this ended up being a hard sell to a Nobu timeshare where the sales rep would not back off even with several times saying a strong no. It took me having to get aggressively upset to finally convince them to take me to my room. What a terrible way to start a trip. When I was finally able to make it down to the pool, I then realized that they've raised their prices on food by 3x what it used to be. Want a hamburger? $50. Want a burrito? $50. You're not getting out of a meal for two with a drink for a couple hundred dollars. There is now a mandatory gratuity as well which has caused service people to not provide that level of service you travel to Mexico for. Forgotten sides and requests were several throughout my time here. Don't expect them to be going above and beyond on anything let alone at the expected level of Nobu service. Wondering why I continued eating at Nobu even though the ridiculous prices? It's because they have a monopoly on the area. There are no other food options within 45 minutes of this property. There are also no Ubers allowed so you basically are limited to their overpriced shuttle service. Think I can take advantage of all their pool amenities since you're a guest? Think again. I tried to visit their infinity pool (which I always previously had access to) and was promptly told that I cannot stay there unless I hit a minimum amount - keep in mind I had a tab of probably over $1,000 open at their other pool. So. Rude. The next day I tried their other pool by the bridges - there are 11 of us here across 4 rooms. After we sat down I was told I was taking up too many chairs (we had 8 chairs across 11 people) so less than the amount of people staying here. Insanity. So. Rude. I was once the person who was buying $500 Nobu gift cards for my mom for her birthday. I recommended my cousin get married there (he did). I was considering getting married here. I don't know what's happened but I'm done with Nobu and I recommend you never step foot in a restaurant or property either.

Yelp
This was my 4th time in Cabo San Lucas/ Los Cabos and had been wanting to stay at the famous Nobu resort. Loved it! Loved how everyone welcomed you and said ," Welcome Home". I wish this was my home! Very clean, quiet and tranquil place. When you arrive, they take your luggage to get it cleaned and sanitized! Every staff member would say hello and made you feel at home. Rooms: The rooms have very nice subtle Japanese inspired touches and very modern and yet simplistic. My favorite thing was the bathtub! Food: We had room service, Playa Bar, and ate at the very delicious namesake Nobu! Sure, it's not "cheap" and you are far from downtown restaurants, but, you are paying for quality! There is also a nice steakhouse which I did not get to try. I also did not want to waste time just to save some money by heading back and forth to downtown Cabo or Squid Row. Service: Everyone was very nice and friendly. I'm very happy with how well everyone was trained here and high level of customer service. Glad that I was able to make it to Nobu and stayed there. Hope to return to stay here again!

Yelp
I attended a beautiful wedding and stayed at Nobu for three nights. Didn't like my bed or the pillows even after I asked for a firm ones. Didn't appreciate booking two rooms for my family but each room was on the complete opposite side of the resort. I was then told the reason was that I upgraded a room to ocean view! They should have told me since I called three times to make sure my family's room is nearby. I think it is definitely overpriced. The amount of giant flies everywhere was bad.

Yelp
It's a gorgeous location but very secluded making it pricey to go into town and the stores they have here are extremely expensive. Just for a bikini TOP was $222 US dollars and I repeat it was just for half of the bikini. The staff were absolutely GREAT. We also bought the residency deal and got two complimentary massages and I swear if I wasn't paying I would ask for a refund, the cheapest massage they have is $279 and it was terrible. The food is great and worth it, I enjoyed my experience but I wouldn't want to come again for the prices of this place.

Yelp
It was a great 3 night stay, quiet, great service with excellent pools and eateries. Booked a junior suite with the view facing the golf course above the spa pools and it was really nice, spacious. I loved the tub, shower, and sitting areas, including the terrace. Pros: - Friendly great service where they ask you around the resort anything they can help you with. Give them your Last name and room number for no hassle. - my friends who had the swim up pool, very convenient for pool lovers and it even connects and loops; it's called either the pacific pool or sunset pool. Sunset may be the infinity pool. - the guest services/ butlers always offer to grab you anything you need, bottled water, towels, they even had a kettle and microwave set up in our room. -if you're at the pool in the afternoons they sometimes pass out tiny bites like banana bread, and the first night turn down they left a coconut brown butter cookie. - convenient covid testing onsite. Cons: - can't go near the beach for safety reasons, they make you sign a waiver. - resort is far from central downtown and marina area, so taxi cabs are required to take into town and it's about a 30-45 minute ride depending on traffic. Also Ubers aren't accessible inside Diamanté / nobu resort town. - pricey menus, everything from In room dining to cafe, to quick service restaurants. Depending on what you order meals can be $15-45 a person. If you eat at nobu/ardea expect to spend about $80-200 a person depending on what you order. - because I was spotted to be in a relationship (couples/family type) they try and invite you to a selling presentation with a $300 dining credit voucher for your time, but they don't say how long it is. They did ask me if I had plans before and plans after which I didn't like. If there's no transparency ultimately I lose interest so I did not attend. As a DVC member I really believe that products sell themselves, and as much as nobu los Cabos is really nice, I wouldn't come back. Seeing it once was amazing, but for the price I'd like to explore other resorts in Cabo.

Yelp
My fiancée and I planned this trip to celebrate her birthday and our engagement. Instead of a carefree and relaxing week, we were constantly disturbed by housekeeping at 9 pm. The "5-star" room had paper-thin walls. You could hear our neighbor's conversations and when they used the bathroom. Outside our balcony and bathroom smelled like sewage. I booked a private dinner to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and she ended up very ill with food poisoning. We scheduled a whale watch for the following day, and the concierge did not have any understanding that she could not go on a boat while sick and charged us for the whale watch. They misled us to believe that it would be taken care of and "we had nothing to worry about," but they never did anything and figured we would forget about the charge. My fiancée was treated at the emergency room in the United States this morning. She was ultimately diagnosed with food poisoning and infected with E coli from their hotel kitchen. Nobu overpromised and underdelivered. Nobu charges premium prices and delivers sub-par food. The food was bland and everything was insanely overpriced. If you want a tough streak, raw food, unclean vegetables, and a musty room Nobu is for you. The hotel now is not taking the blame and lying to us again, that we visited downtown and to check with the other establishments. We never left the hotel because my fiancée was ill with food poisoning.

Yelp
This visit was for January 2021 when travel was slightly restricted. We spent one night at Nobu. If you're unfamiliar with Cabo, this is in a relatively new area also near the hard rock hotel and sat way deep from the main road. It's perhaps 15 or 20 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas so you either need to utilize hotel transportation or rent a car or a cab to get here and off property. We were warmly welcomed at the gate which set up our arrival into the main hotel entrance area. Check in with swift and private and we were escorted to our room. After a brief orientation we settled in and went to the pool. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained. It's very tranquil and serene with Japanese detailing throughout. At the time of our visit they were few guests so it was much less crowded than the level of business now. We opted for several drinks and appetizers at the pool and all of it was delicious. You can walk out to the beach area but the beach is not swimmable so so your research. We had a room with a balcony which we enjoyed. I prefer it to the rooms with the pool entry or private pools. At the time of our visit some food and beverage outlets had limited hours or were not open at all. The location did have room service which we had our second day and was outstanding. We dined at Nobu against my better judgment. If your timing there because you want to say you've been there that's one thing but overall I think the experience is overhyped and over priced. The food and service were just subpar at Nobu. We would definitely return. I would suggest at least two nights here but probably no more than several days. When you arrive, you probably don't really want to leave the resort due to its proximity which is fine, they do have really good food and beverage outlets and it's quiet and relaxing. For me, around day three I would be stir crazy.

Yelp
Wonderful resort. Private , secure and staff very friendly. Just what we wanted. Beware there is no beach swimming . We knew and did not care as I live on an island. However if you want to swim in the ocean this is a black beach

Yelp
Hotel was great, our bartender Aldo was great by the swim up pool. The staff was awesome and the hotel was a nice relaxing vibe to get away with. The views were awesome and the restaurants were all great. Our only issue was with one spa worker that was very rude to my wife during her spa time. Other than that the hotel was great.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous setting. The service here is incredible, from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff, they really treated us well. The hotel is beautiful at every turn. Lots of well done art and architecture. The room was spacious and well appointed, we really liked the shower / tub enclosure. The wood soaking tub was amazing. We had tasty food and drinks throughout the trip; pool side, at the restaurants and in-room, all of it excellent. The hot / cold stone massage was unique to say the least. Excellent spa. All that said it can be rather windy out here along the pacific. We thought maybe it was just the days we were there but got the feeling from the staff that it can be windy often. In June we were actually cold around the pool and almost no one was in the pool. The room was cool as well and the wind was audibly blowing through the room (but being from a windy area we are used to that). The soaker tub was where we went to warm up.

Yelp
We held our wedding at the Nobu and are so glad we did. They maintained the highest standards for their staff and ensured all the food was perfectly made. ON TOP of that our concierge, Mauricio (Mau) was beyond our expectations! We got married and had a lot of things going on including multiple room changes, the need for special requests like pressing, waters, vendor support, and more. Mau handled each one excellently and with so much kindness. We previously had Able as our concierge and he was also excellent. We are continuously impressed by the Nobu. Our fave restaurants are the Ardea (#1 favorite) and Playa Bar (#2, try the Wagyu Hot Dog.). In fact we brought our crew to the Ardea after the wedding and loved the DJ and bottle service there. The manager Rene went above and beyond to make our night special. Finally our events planner Nina (Maria Alessandrina) was an ideal partner. She was responsive and went the extra mile to ensure we were happy throughout. We feel very happy to have chosen the Nobu (and Nina) for our big weekend. We've now stayed at the Nobu 4 times and will be back. Thank you for being an incredible hotel for our friends and family and perfect wedding venue.

Yelp
Do NOT eat here! And definitely don't order the omakase. I'm giving it two stars because the wait staff was very kind and the restaurant was in one of the most beautiful spots I've eaten at. However, the food was terrible. And I'm not picky at all. I felt quite sick after the 7th course. Some of the food was just plain inedible. The gazpacho tasted like canned tomato. The sea urchin and foie gras made me gag. The wagyu felt and tasted like rubber. The fish is not fresh at all. Even liberal use of truffle and yuzu couldn't save this dinner. I've had omakase at Nobu at Malibu and paid half the price of the one at Cabo, and was infinitely happier at Malibu and just repulsed at the one at Cabo. Honestly, I've been way happier at casual $5 sushi places than this vastly overpriced and overrated Nobu. Including photos below. At least everything was beautifully plated, the only palatable part of the food.

Yelp
4.5 stars. I stayed here by myself in July 2020 for 4 nights and couldn't have imagined how (almost) perfect it was. Given the numerous covid restrictions, this Cabo trip actually turned out to be the best Cabo trip I've taken, as both the airport a d hotel were nearly empty. The hotel is already boutiquey and only has 200 rooms. Couple that with a reduced capacity of 30%, I almost never encountered anyone in the hallways, and even had the smaller pool near my room to myself for most of my stay. It made me feel completely safe and secure. The hotel is super new and looks and smells like it! I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the smaller pool. The room was simple but elegant (keeping to the usual Nobu look), and quite spacious. Location is pretty isolated from town or other hotels, which was perfect for my stay as I was there to relax and self-realize, not to go out and party (and with covid, there really wasn't anywhere to go for that). Beach access was also phenomenal and I can't see it ever being obnoxiously crowded, even when we go back to normal times. I paid a great rate given the circumstances. Service was also really friendly and accommodating. What made me tack off a half point though is what was missing. I think for a hotel of this caliber, staff should be more inquisitive and go above and beyond. For example, many ultra high end resorts will take time to get to know you and your stay. They usually might surprise you with a little gift or activity based on why you visited the property. In my case, I was going through two personal life events and it would have been nice to have gotten acknowledgment or a little something to cheer me up. Additionally, given that only 30% of the rooms were occupied, I feel like the hotel could have upgraded all guests to better rooms to show them appreciation for patronizing the hotel during a difficult time. It really wouldn't have cost the hotel all that much (if any at all) since those are fixed costs, and any show of appreciation to guests would go a long way in terms of customer loyalty. In spite of those little issues, I still think this was an amazing resort that I would definitely go back to, especially if there were incentives given by the hotel.

Yelp
The roads to get here may be daunting, (actually not so bad even in a storm) but the food and service is beyond worth it! I have eaten at the Nobu Palo Alto, Nobu Malibu, Nobu XYZ and this Nobu wins the prize. The tuna sashimi with truffle (smoked under a dome) was AMAZING. So fresh. Excellent portions. The fish was in the ocean earlier today-so fresh! The ribeye was cooked to perfection. A PERFECT MARTINI. Best in class service (ask for Raul) Such a fabulous dinner.

Yelp
Definitely one of the fanciest hotel we've stayed at with the best service, friendliest staff, and amazing amenities. The staff was very attentive and welcoming at all times. It's far away from the hustle and bustle of Los Cabos, so it takes a little extra drive time to get there, but being away from everything is so much more serene. The entire place is beautiful with pools everywhere, clean modern design, calm greenery perfectly placed, easy access to the beach (not swimmable though), great sound deadening inside the rooms, excellent in-room amenities, etc. We enjoyed food by the pool, in our room, and at three of the restaurants. We had an amazing visit. It's also the most we've spent on our rooms, but it was money well spent.

Yelp
Loved staying at nobu. Super close to the beach. Great staff members. Valentin was so pleasant to work with. Valet staff is great. Huge rooms and huge bathroom. Nice to have the option to have a room that leads right into one of the pools. No major issues other than it takes a while for stash like house keeping or room service to answer the phone. Takes 5-10 minutes to get to a main road. Guess that's the flaw when you build a hotel right on the beach.

Yelp
This was my first time at Nobu and I just had sushi. It was okay. I would have to come back and try real food, but the drinks were really good. The service was great, it was kind of cold so they sat us by the fire and gave us blankets as well.

Yelp
Review for ARDEA only: HORRIBLE. DO NOT COME HERE. Worst meal of my life with my family. We were disgusted, ridiculed, and deceived. Terrible food here compared to nobu quality food. We arrived and waited to be seated after making reservations for 7:15 pm. The place was packed and the room was super smokey? I get it for a steakhouse but maybe ventilate a bit more? The horror started when were assigned out two waiters. One was ELIOENAI CRUZ (see receipt). He was the most outright rudest server I have ever had. It took forever until we were able to order. As my dad asked to try the cowboy steak AND the shrimp to share with my mom he had the audacity to roll his eyes and say "it was too much." Mind you we are paying for the food and he was a waiter who didn't own the food so it wasn't any of his business judging how little or how much we order. HE HAS SUCH A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. HE WAS MEAN AND MADE US ANGRY AND ARGUED WITH US ALL NIGHT LONG. An eternity later our food comes all wrong. All steaks ordered medium rare were WELL DONE CHARRED GROSS ROCKS that were OVERSALTED OVERPEPPERED AND BURNT! WORST DOG MEAT I've ever had. I was baffled I thought we were at a nobu. The chef on October 28, 2021 was horrible. Not to mention the pork was dry, the salmon was dry. They gave us two things of mash potatoes when we didn't order one, and then they charged us for it! When we ordered dessert we asked for the ice cream with one scoop of melon sorbet and one scoop of watermelon, my boyfriend and I got the same. AN HOUR OF WAITING LATER, the waiter ELIOENAI CRUZ came back with 7 dishes of ice cream. We said no we wanted one dish with two flavors. ELIOENAI took offense and told us we were the ones that misunderstood when clearly it was his fault. We argued with him at the table and he rolled his eyes at us more and went to get the manager. What kind of server blames the patron for their own mistake. We had eaten two days prior at Ardea and received one scoop of one flavor and another scoop of another flavor. When the bill came we were baffled. WE WERE CHARGED 40 dollars for mineral water when all we got was TAP WATER!! They charged us for 7 bowls of ice cream. They charged us for sides we never ordered and lamb that we did not receive. DONT COME HERE DONT COME TO ELIONEAI CRUZ! WORST MEAL OF OUR LIVES SO DISSAPOINTED AND CHEATER TERRIBLE FOOD WORST SERVICE EVER SEEN. WHO ROLLS THEIR EYES AT CUSTOMERS AND BLAMES THEM FOR THEIR SCREW UPS AND CHARGES THEM FOR IT. Management better do something because I am telling all my friends and family to NEVER COME HERE
