The Nobu Empire Goes Where No Other Has

"A luxe, elegant, adults-only escape in one of Europe’s great coastal resort towns. We could go on and on about the design and the detailing but suffice to say they’re the modern luxury state of the art. The cuisine here, naturally, incorporates Andalusian flavors, and it does so under the direction of Eleni Ioanna Manousou, the first female head chef in Nobu’s history." - Mitchell Friedman

Nobu Hotel Marbella (Marbella, Costa del Sol) 5 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Though it feels like one of those overnight success stories, they’ve been laying the groundwork for years. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s restaurants were the advance guard, spreading their distinctive Japanese-Peruvian cuisine all over the globe. And with the ground suitably prepared, the second wave is the Nobu hotels, famously co-owned by the actor Robert De Niro. With the Nobu Hotel Marbella, they’ve established a luxe, elegant, adults-only escape in one of Europe’s great coastal resort towns." - Tablet Hotels

Nobu Hotel Marbella is just incredible, it offers so much variation. Nobu hotel is part of the Puente Romano resort which offers an outstanding choice of culinary experiences, including of course my favourite “Nobu”.|The personal attention is second to none, you are made to feel special and welcomed. The hotels main focus is to ensure you have the best stay possible. I would personally recommend Nobu Hotel over all the hotels in this area (and I have stayed at a few), we have already rebooked for next year and can’t wait to return. |Well done Nobu team 11/10!!

The hotel is a wonderful example of the Nobu brand. The rooms are quite large. We stayed in the main building this trip and the room was big and wonderfully appointed. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I’ve previously stayed in one of the other rooms closer to the pool and much preferred the main building. The staff was also all greet and the Restaurantes downstairs in the main building in the courtyard, are all better than the next.

We had a fantastic stay at Nobu Hotel Marbella. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived. The staff were super professional and friendly, check-in was smooth and we felt well looked after the whole time. Our room was really comfortable, beautifully designed. I have to say, the cleanliness was impeccable, the housekeeping team did an amazing job. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The gardens are so well kept and it has this calm, elegant vibe during the day, but then in the evening it becomes more lively in a really fun. We tried a few of the restaurants on site and they were all excellent, great variety and quality. I went with my partner and we both loved the whole experience. The location is perfect too, super close to the beach and not far from Marbella town, but still tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. If you're looking for a stylish, relaxing getaway with great service and attention to detail, I’d definitely recommend it.

Very interesting - the hotel managed to take down my review. Well in a nutshell, we managed to score an amazing deal on their 3 bedroom suite most expensive and so we booked it for 4 nights. The expectation was it would be an amazing experience for this price. Well, we battled some issues - electricity was down in half of the apartment so we had to call reception. Jacuzzi was dirty apparently they missed maintenance service so we had to wait two days to use it so the service guys could come fix it. Room service walked in without knocking even though do not disturb was on. Construction next door was also very disruptive. Manager issued if I remember correctly 1,000 euro credit for room charges so that was alright, but that didn’t really help us get over all these issues.

The hotel is beautiful and the location amazing. The personnel is super professional and the rooms are great value for money. Unfortunately the hotel has a private members club. Which started as an amazing experience for me ended with a sleepless last night for me as the hotel turns into a night club. I was sure I want to go back but the last night just totally killed that wish for me. The hotel should have a disclaimer for the members club and that they have parties until 4 am in the morning. There was not much that the poor reception guy was able to do, but the hotel has clearly its priorities and I am not sure if its the hotel guest that pay to being able to sleep in their rooms, because that is the minimum requirement that a room needs to meet.

Google
Not a 5 star experience, far from it, plus it’s a ripoff. First night we went there the shower drainage had issues, flooded the bathroom basically. Their guest experience service which you’re supposed to communicate with via WhatsApp was not responsive at critical times, so when you need to request courtesy car pick up or if you have issues finding the driver no assistance was given. |Not to mention the hotel seems old and also frankly not very tasteful. It’s easily a 3 star property elsewhere. The pools were a joke, they are tiny and shabby. ||Only good things are the breakfast and courtesy car service.

Always a warm and kind welcome. Even before you get there receiving kind messages about your stay. Staff very friendly. Always making sure your stay becomes magical. The place to have a guaranteed beautiful and memorable holiday.

Aside from a modern gym and a location near some restaurants in the Puente Romano area, Nobu Marbella offers very little that justifies its exorbitant rates. There’s no world-class service, no peace and quiet, and certainly none of the attention to detail you’d expect from a true five-star experience. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Marbella, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This property may carry a big name, but it dramatically falls short in execution. • The beach loungers need to be completely replaced — as you’d expect in any proper five-star hotel. • At El Chiringuito, guests are expected to pay an extra €100 for a sunbed — and they were fully booked on the day we actually wanted to reserve one. • The pool areas are in serious need of renovation as well. There’s no decent pool service, everything is overpriced — a kids’ meal costs €24, including just one drink. • Overall, neither the guests nor the staff seem to be in a good mood. There are no good vibes at all — you constantly feel ripped off. The value for money is extremely poor, even in the restaurants. If you don’t make a reservation days in advance, the only option left is to eat at 6:00 PM, or the next day, or pay extra to sit in a different area — as was explained to us yesterday when trying to dine at Nobu. We were able to change rooms on the second day, but I was initially placed — with my four-year-old son — in a room directly next to the restaurants, with unbearable noise. I’ve travelled all over the world, and the standard of a true luxury hotel should be completely different. You will leave thoroughly disappointed.

Yelp
Hotel Nobu is an absolute dream! Situated adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and alongside "The Golden Mile", the ritziest part of Marbella, lies this stunning, Andalusian style hotel, that aims to please. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay here, and you will too. The lushly manicured grounds are maintained exceptionally well. In fact, they were just adding a fresh coat of stark white paint to the dwellings while I was visiting, which was beautifully accented by cobalt blue wall pottery, containing bright pink flowers. The majestic swans that swim in the man-made stream help make this an even more romantic getaway than it already is. I was seriously living vicariously through those two. Now where was my dream date when I needed him most?! The rooms are every bit as spectacular as the glitzy pictures on their website will lead you to believe. The decor is contemporary meets boho chic and the color palette consists of relaxing, neutral tones. The Deluxe & Junior Suite rooms were both spacious and well appointed. Nobu Hotel goes the extra mile with Natura Bissé toiletries. Anything you could possibly need or want is provided... slippers, combs, bath salts, makeup remover, you name it. There's even night cream for your face, which was quite luxurious. The breakfast buffet was heavenly! Bring your appetite as they do not disappoint. This isn't your typical hotel buffet, it's a major cut above the rest. Pretty much any breakfast food that your heart desires is served and all of it is excellent. Six Senses Spa is close by too, in case you're in need of some pampering. I had an amazing, ninety minute massage with the argan oil upgrade. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatment, as well as the amenities. Every evening, turndown service brought me something special to nibble on and offered me complimentary water bottles. The staff truly made me feel like a princess here. Tip for the ladies: pack an extra pair of flats to carry with you in your purse so you don't slip on the cobblestone bridge in your heels (especially after a few cocktails at Nobu, lol). See photo I posted of the Roman Bridge. This is in no means a complaint whatsoever. That bridge is so picturesque and it's from first century A.D. so it's certainly not going anywhere! I mention it only so that those reading this can plan accordingly. Nobu Hotel Marbella is as good as it gets! You can order Nobu sushi from room service. Need I say more? I will always have fond memories of my stay here (special shoutout to GM John Thomson for taking such good care of me). I hope to return for another visit in the near future, next time I'd like to stay during the summer months. I'm convinced this is the nicest hotel in all of Marbella! Highly recommend.
