Nobu Hotel Marbella

A beautiful spot at the beach and reflect as it is intended the old charm of Marbella inherited from the 60s and70s, beautiful and well-maintained gardens and an excellent choice of restaurants. If you are staying at Nobu Hotel please bear in mind that the hotel hosts several night clubs, the windows are soundproof but in our case the windows on the corridor outside were not closing properly therefore we had quite some entertainment from two sides. Closing time of the clubs is at 2.30 and 4 am so better join the party. If you are traveling with a car there are not many parking spaces, but they offer valet. Cleanliness in the resort and the rooms as good, maintenance in the room was OK, however shower needed some new sealant. Service was OK but you would expect more attention to detail when choosing a hotel of that category. We stayed for 5 days and only got one large bottle of water for the coffee machine; evening turn down brings 2x 0.5l bottles. No water at the pool or beach, cold melon sticks are served at the pool (pool service at Nobu pool the lifeguard and waitress were amazing!!), if you happen to be in the room at 6.30 pm you get an aperitivo serviced which is a nice touch. Laundry service was also excellent. Restaurant recommendation: we enjoyed Lenya very much, amazing service and food, same at the Sea Grill, great views on top. Guillaume at the breakfast also adds to the service excellence. Also, a thank you to you bell staff (his name starts with M) he gave us great tips for our day tours.

Nobu is a dream come true for a relaxed vacation, great food and atmosphere. Located only 10 min drive from the old town.||||We stayed in a Deluxe room facing the ocean with a cozy balcony. The room was clean and spacious. ||||The highlight of our stay was the breakfast staff, they were personal, professional and warm service. Exactly the type of service you crave in a relaxed sun holiday. ||||If I had to mention one negative aspect of staying at Nobu hotel it is the amount of escorts at the resort, especially at night time. When travelling I value genuine atmosphere and Nobu at nighttime isn’t that. There is a looooot of escorts which sets a fake and a bit cheap atmosphere.

The hotel is beautiful and the location amazing. The personnel is super professional and the rooms are great value for money. Unfortunately the hotel has a private members club. Which started as an amazing experience for me ended with a sleepless last night for me as the hotel turns into a night club. I was sure I want to go back but the last night just totally killed that wish for me. The hotel should have a disclaimer for the members club and that they have parties until 4 am in the morning. There was not much that the poor reception guy was able to do, but the hotel has clearly its priorities and I am not sure if its the hotel guest that pay to being able to sleep in their rooms, because that is the minimum requirement that a room needs to meet.

We had a fantastic stay at Nobu Hotel Marbella. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived. The staff were super professional and friendly, check-in was smooth and we felt well looked after the whole time. Our room was really comfortable, beautifully designed. I have to say, the cleanliness was impeccable, the housekeeping team did an amazing job. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The gardens are so well kept and it has this calm, elegant vibe during the day, but then in the evening it becomes more lively in a really fun. We tried a few of the restaurants on site and they were all excellent, great variety and quality. I went with my partner and we both loved the whole experience. The location is perfect too, super close to the beach and not far from Marbella town, but still tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. If you're looking for a stylish, relaxing getaway with great service and attention to detail, I’d definitely recommend it.

The property is beautiful and the area is great but I cannot recommend this hotel because of very poor customer service experience. It’s a long story but in sum, after hotel staff admitted they made several mistakes (recommending a reservation without supplying me critical information, then leaving me stranded in a parking lot for an hour at night while repeatedly promising a phone call that never came, then promising a manager would call me who never did, etc.), the manager I finally chased down had the gall to deny any responsibility for ruining my night and the night of my whole group. That’s not to mention failing to inform me of noisy construction on the small street right outside my room or the ants we found repeatedly in our room. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel given how poorly they care for their customers.

The location and atmosphere at Nobu is amazing. The personnel is super professional. and the rooms are great value for the money. Unfortunately Nobu Marbella has a private members club that turns the hotel into a night club. What started as a beautiful experience ended with a horrible last night for me with no sleep and the poor guy at the reception couldn't do very much for me.

Unfortunately we did not the wonderful experience that we had hoped to have at Nobu Marbella. They have an exceptional location and very friendly staff however we do not feel we were treated with the attention we deserved. ||||We were given room 171 and it was a spacious, comfortable room but it has zero sound proofing. Every little noise nearby could be heard. After not being able to fall asleep until very late due to a banging noise above us, at 7 am following our first night, we were awaken by carts moving bottles for about 20-30 minutes. We sent a message via WhatsApp to let front desk know. They didn’t respond until 40 minutes later and even then dismissed our complaints saying there was nothing happening around our room. (See copy of texts - time stamp in EST).||||On our second morning, we were again woken up very early with similar clanging of bottles and then construction noises. This time we recorded the noise and sent it to front desk via WhatsApp. This time they did acknowledge there was some construction near us and it was discontinued but only after a long while. ||||Upon check out we were finally given a slight apology and acknowledgment of the problem. Quite frankly we should have been offered a refund for the terrible disruption. Perhaps someone from management should spend a night in that room and experience the noise. ||||In addition to this, after a long day of site seeing we returned to the room at 3 pm to find that housekeeping had yet to clean the room. We had to call for the service. That should not be the case in a five star hotel. ||||In good faith, we sent an email to management two weeks ago to give them another chance to rectify the situation but unfortunately did not hear back.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we had to say goodbye, every employee was amazing. We felt so special and pampered. ||The property was beautiful and exceptional clean.||The food was amazing and there were many choices to pick from. I had the fruit plate each morning and the fruit was ripe and flavorful.||We will be back!

Hotel Nobu is an absolute dream! Situated adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and alongside "The Golden Mile", the ritziest part of Marbella, lies this stunning, Andalusian style hotel, that aims to please. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay here, and you will too. The lushly manicured grounds are maintained exceptionally well. In fact, they were just adding a fresh coat of stark white paint to the dwellings while I was visiting, which was beautifully accented by cobalt blue wall pottery, containing bright pink flowers. The majestic swans that swim in the man-made stream help make this an even more romantic getaway than it already is. I was seriously living vicariously through those two. Now where was my dream date when I needed him most?! The rooms are every bit as spectacular as the glitzy pictures on their website will lead you to believe. The decor is contemporary meets boho chic and the color palette consists of relaxing, neutral tones. The Deluxe & Junior Suite rooms were both spacious and well appointed. Nobu Hotel goes the extra mile with Natura Bissé toiletries. Anything you could possibly need or want is provided... slippers, combs, bath salts, makeup remover, you name it. There's even night cream for your face, which was quite luxurious. The breakfast buffet was heavenly! Bring your appetite as they do not disappoint. This isn't your typical hotel buffet, it's a major cut above the rest. Pretty much any breakfast food that your heart desires is served and all of it is excellent. Six Senses Spa is close by too, in case you're in need of some pampering. I had an amazing, ninety minute massage with the argan oil upgrade. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatment, as well as the amenities. Every evening, turndown service brought me something special to nibble on and offered me complimentary water bottles. The staff truly made me feel like a princess here. Tip for the ladies: pack an extra pair of flats to carry with you in your purse so you don't slip on the cobblestone bridge in your heels (especially after a few cocktails at Nobu, lol). See photo I posted of the Roman Bridge. This is in no means a complaint whatsoever. That bridge is so picturesque and it's from first century A.D. so it's certainly not going anywhere! I mention it only so that those reading this can plan accordingly. Nobu Hotel Marbella is as good as it gets! You can order Nobu sushi from room service. Need I say more? I will always have fond memories of my stay here (special shoutout to GM John Thomson for taking such good care of me). I hope to return for another visit in the near future, next time I'd like to stay during the summer months. I'm convinced this is the nicest hotel in all of Marbella! Highly recommend.
