Nobu İstanbul

"The Istanbul branch of the Nobu restaurant chain is located in the Ritz-Carlton hotel and emphasises the Eastern facets of this cosmopolitan city. You can grab a table either in the bar or the restaurant, both of which are as hip as they are minimalist. The stunning view over the Bosphorus and the city is really something to behold. Modern Japanese and South American influences are blended with great precision. Think, for example, of a creamy carpaccio of octopus with a subtle jalapeño dressing. And what should you have to drink? Be sure to check out the signature cocktails, Turkish wines and sakes." - Michelin Inspector

Of all the dining options at the Ritz Carlton, Nobu was my least favorite. While our server was friendly and professional the rest of the staff seemed cold and indifferent. The seating hostess was abrupt and unwelcoming on our entrance but gave us a warm departure. Food was excellent but the portion sizes were quite small for the prices charged. This is a Michelin restaurant so you pay for that privilege. As is European culture, smoking is allowed in the dining room so smokers are likely to love the place. Non smokers are left to suffer in the unhealthy cigarette fumes. We did not stay for a dessert as the cigarette smoke was too intense and helped ruin the experience. Both of the other restaurants in the Ritz are MUCH better dining experiences. This one is overrated and not worth the cost.

Among all Nobu locations, this was the best. Good views and you can smoke inside. With that being said, this place is still incredibly overhyped. Beef truffle tacos should be off the menu, they were absolutely vile.

It was pricey, but the experience was worth it. From the impeccable service to the exceptional dishes, everything was amazing. The highlight of the night was the Nobu taco with pulled beef and truffle—I could eat that filling by the pound. Truly unforgettable. The sushi was simple but showcased the quality and freshness of the fish. Both skewers, paired with the flavorful and slightly spicy anticucho sauce, were outstanding. Overall, a fantastic dinner.

I can’t relate to the negative comments (not to invalidate them ofcourse) since I really enjoyed my experience. Yes you’re paying for the experience and ofcourse you could get bigger portions elsewhere but the food is still really delicious (the spicy edamame, teriyaki salmon and shrimp chimichurri!!), and a main with an appetiser and dessert felt satisfying enough to me. Service was a 10/10 all around. Views and Ambience were great! If I could I would come back again

Good location, good service, amazing view and atmosphere. Food was very bad. Mushroom soup - water with mushrooms. Somon sushi - somon was ultra thin and looks like it was frozen before, shell crab sushi was fried for some reason and a lot of not understandable ingredients inside, very bad. Not bad cocktails, but you gotta do something with food it was awful. Paid for valet 650 lira for 2 hours, consider this when coming

I had high expectations for Nobu Istanbul, but what I got was a complete disaster. I came here to celebrate my birthday, expecting a special evening, but instead, the staff made sure it was a night to forget – and not in a good way. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The attitude from the staff was cold, dismissive, and outright rude. They barely acknowledged us, took forever to bring our orders, and acted as if we were bothering them by simply existing. Any questions or requests were met with eye rolls and short, uninterested responses. The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. They made us feel so uncomfortable that we almost walked out halfway through the meal. No effort was made to acknowledge my birthday, despite the reservation clearly stating the occasion. Not even a simple “happy birthday” – just pure indifference. As for the food? Overpriced and overrated. Nothing special, and certainly not worth enduring the terrible service. There are plenty of restaurants in Istanbul that serve far better food with exceptional service. Nobu Istanbul? A complete joke. They didn’t just ruin dinner; they ruined what was supposed to be a memorable night. If you want to feel disrespected and leave disappointed, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go somewhere that actually values its guests. 1/10 – only because 0 isn’t an option.

Google
We tried the omakase here, and the chef genuinely strives to create a memorable dining experience with the limited ingredients at his disposal. The tuna and salmon were particularly fresh and flavorful. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, though it caters more to à la carte diners who may not fully appreciate the omakase experience. If you’re seeking a refined sushi experience, this spot is worth a visit, but be aware that the focus is more on casual dining.

Yelp
Had a good time in this Rita Carlton. The location was close to all the major transportation and my room had a great view outside. The security check at the entrance was a bit scary at first. The gym was great. It has all the equipment I need for a full body workout, and the in door swimming pool was awesome. The hotel has several restaurants and cafes including nobu and the quality did not disappoint. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Istanbul.

Yelp
Amazing attention to detail! Wonderful staff! I had the pleasure of listening to Horst Schulze (former president of Ritz Carlton) discussing customer service, Ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen! His legacy and teachings is front and center here! Thank you!

Yelp
The Ritz Carlton in Istanbul is truly one of the finest hotels in the Ritz family. The attention to detail and the commitment to exceeding expectations at every turn made my stay truly memorable. I also highly recommend dining at Atolye, the Michelin-rated restaurant located within the Ritz.

Yelp
This is one of my very favorite Ritz Carlton's. It is located right by the beautiful phosphorus river. The service is absolutely excellent and the food is incredible. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is a sense of tranquility here.

Yelp
We had an amazing week here at the Ritz Carlton Istanbul! Front desk check in was quick , informative and welcoming. He pointed up to the concierge to help us book our guided tours , reservations to some great local restaurants. We booked our in hotel spa appointments Turkish bath and facials! One of the services being the Turkish bath (Hamman) is a must do and the facials. The restaurants inside of the Ritz Carlton are delicious whether you're going to Nobu, or one of it's two Michelin Guide-listed restaurants, offering both fine dining and relaxed lounge experiences, the hotel's restaurant and bars feature Bosphorus views! Also some shops within the lobby some for clothing, jewelry , authentic Turkish souvenir shop the owners (husband& wife) are absolute sweethearts! Next to their shop their is a kids club full of a indoor playground and art activities to do! The pool areas are both beautiful indoor pool located next to the Spa , the pools has a certain hours for general people ( adults, kids, family etc) but after a certain hour in the evening it's become adults only! Which I love offers that peace and relaxing time for us adults. My son enjoy both pools especially the outdoor one with the glass clear view of him swimming lol The ritz Carlton Istanbul does offer pickup/ drop off airport transportation inside a beautiful van equipped with water and snacks charging cables all the bells and whistle's! Honestly I wouldn't stay anywhere else but at the Ritz Carlton when in Istanbul.

Yelp
Very beautiful and enchanting. Elegant ritzy style with Turkish decor When you walk through the entrance there is a security walk through and bag check in which is fine. It is a relief to know you are safe. The hotel it so glamorous and the staff was so accommodating. The manager Safar was so personable and helpful with all the information we needed. He also gave us information on what was close by as far as attractions and different amenities our stay. The club lounge was included with the rate which served lunch and dinner menu items. Breakfast was also included but it was a buffet. Had a mixture of Turkish items such as mesemen a scrambled egg and omelette mixture with tomatoes. The service was so good we celebrated a birthday and they gave us a beautiful cake with balloons everywhere. The lounge Aldi supplied breakfast. Lunch and dinner. The food and everything was amazing. Such a beautiful hotel all around with the hammam spa, decor and service. I will be back again

Yelp
The Ritz Carlton Istanbul is a fabulous hotel. The extra security measures are comforting and despite the media attention, I felt safer in Istanbul than most US cities. Like any 5- star hotel the service is second to none. If you drop a tissue there are three people there to pick it up and the overall atmosphere of the Turkish people is to bend over backwards to help anyone. The rooms are impeccably kept and booking a room with access to the concierge floor is a must. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and cocktails all day long. Food is absolutely terrific and the restaurants are fantastic and range from a gourmet Michelin star chef, a terrific French bistro and incredibly, a Nobu restaurant too. Extensive clean gym with a solid mix of equipment (free weights, machines and cardio equip), along with a great spa; big beautiful indoor pool and Turkish baths as well. When we go back, we will likely stay here again...

Yelp
We spent a night here and had an amazing relaxing time before driving to the airport in the morning. Staff was very welcoming and it was an easy check-in process. Our baby girl was also given a teddy bear, so sweet! Our room was clean and spacious with all the right touches and we had a baby crib brought into our room as well. Everything was up to date and the bathroom was beautiful with marble throughout and a nice soaker tub and shower. For dinner we ate at their roof top restaurant which actually had awesome food for a good price and they were so accommodating when I asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice with my dish. I really enjoyed the stir fry chicken and veggies dish and the pizza we got. The pasta dish however wasn't as good and had zero flavor and no sauce so wouldn't recommend getting it. The service was top notch though. The breakfast spread in the morning was fit for a queen with tons of options for anyone including picky eaters. They also take your order for drinks at the table and we got the iced coffee which was fresh and delicious. Service was awesome! The only thing I didn't like was that it's not in a central location where you can walk to restaurants or shops. We came from the Hagia Sophia area and loved the connivence of being able to walk everywhere with the stroller.

Yelp
This hotel was more like a 2 star hotel. Very bad service from the workers and managers but this may be due to the culture. The hotel will just try to sell you to buy their club lounge and pay for upgrades. Very poor experience and I will not return. You are better off booking a cheaper hotel if going to IST. The service will be the same.

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels. I stayed February 2022 as Marriott Platinum elite. I got upgraded to a suite (although I wasn't entitled to one). We got free snacks to welcome us. Amazing, large spa-Hamam area.

Yelp
Everything you expect in a Ritz property! We took a family holiday to Istanbul and decided booked the Ritz for Christmas for a few nights and it did not disappoint!! Since we had my mother and son with us this time around, I requested for some type of special trimmings in the rooms in a holiday theme and they did have that for my mother and our son's room, but somehow missed it for our room (no big deal). Their room was adorned with rose petals and heart shaped balloons, the bed had 2 handwritten cards greeting them, a beautiful holly berry bouquet, a Turkish coffee brewing set, Turkish delight, fruit, etc. The rooms were beautiful with large balconies overlooking Maçka park with a partial Bosphorus view. This would've been a 5 star review if the shower in my mother's room hadn't had a raw sewage smell that even after having been attended to by housekeeping staff on 2 occasions, did not resolve. Please avoid room 205 if you can. We were not offered the chance to change rooms and did not seek it since our room was right nextdoor and we didn't really want to be moved especially since they decorated the room, etc. Luckily there is a hand shower in the bathtub, however the smell is really horrible and is present in the whole restroom. Our room was beautiful and I have to say the Ritz beds and bedding are a DREAM. Such great sleep. Housekeeping staff is wonderful and really spoil you! They love to get to know you and really go the extra mile to make you feel like you're royalty. The hotel itself is very nice, but is quite inconveniently located within a type of major roundabout of sorts.. not really a highway but if you know Istanbul, it would kind of count as one. Vodafone park is right across this major street. The traffic here is horrific (not unlike the rest of Istanbul, but the "roundabout" makes it even worse) so it is difficult to get a taxi from here and walking is possible to places like Nişantaşı and more accessible areas to get a taxi, but as I said, it's kind of like a highway where you may have to cross 4 lanes without a walk sign LOL.. hope you know how to play frogger. If you can manage that, it's only a 15 min walk or so to Nişantaşı. We walked to the Swissôtel in maybe 14 min one night. Restaurants here are so so good! The breakfast here is the best hotel breakfast in Istanbul we've had thus far! Beautiful view of the Bosphorus, wide selection of foods, and real pork bacon, lol. If you've been to Istanbul, you know it's a rare thing to find (understandably of course). One morning, i was looking for kiwi at the fruit station and they didn't have any out, but the lovely server brought me a beautiful heart shaped plate of kiwi, golden berries, lingonberries, etc. If that isn't spectacular service, Idk what is! Vakko Atelier is a French bistro and patisserie and the food here is delicious. The desserts are super cute and the best we've had in Istanbul. Nobu here is great (but sadly not cheaper than any other Nobu lol), we had a perfect Christmas dinner there and it didn't disappoint! They even had holiday themed desserts, lol. Great service, as well. They're located in the hotel, but not connected to the hotel, so you have to call Nobu directly to manage reservations. Really only docked 1 star because of the ghastly sewage smell in room 205 and the super inconvenient location.

Yelp
We stayed at this beautiful hotel in October 2023 for 4 wonderful days. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to see to our needs with special shout outs to Tanner at the reception desk, who even went with us to a couple of electronic stores to locate an adapter. Sierra, concierge, booked all our tours without a hitch and very efficiently . The dining at Octo was superb and we could see why it was Michelin star. The view from the restaurant was spectacular overlooking the Bosphorus with sites of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace. Wow! We went to Ephesus and a boxed breakfast was packed for our day trip-5 boxes of fruit, breads, cheeses, juice. The room was spacious and the beds so comfortable. I could go on but you get the gist. Wonderful hotel and staff!

Yelp
Ahhh, the Ritz-Carlton... You have gained a new loyal guest. Went to Istanbul for my Trip of a Lifetime 2.0 and was lucky enough to stay at the Ritz. This place is impeccable. Check-in was easy and swift, and in the winter, they have Sahlep (google it - absolutely incredible) to warm you up. The concierge, Pelin, is amazing, and I miss her dearly. Traveling alone, I knew I would be taken care of at the Ritz. The porters were all kind and spoke English well. Pelin, too! We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times, which was great and affordable! I was in a king-size room, and since the trip was my birthday celebration to myself, I walked into my room that was decorated with heart balloons, a bottle of champagne, and a CHOCOLATE CAKE. The cake: DELECTABLE. AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL. PERFECT. It was so good, I may have eaten the whole thing in one sitting. I couldn't stop. Anyway, the room had robes, slippers, spacious, and a beautiful partial view of the Bosphorous and the football stadium. From check-in to check-out, my stay here was perfect. I had been put next to a family with a crying child at night, and I was moved (and upgraded) immediately. What I really appreciated was whenever I needed to go somewhere, the porters would call the taxi and make sure the taxi driver would take me to where I was going; one porter even told the guy if he didn't get me to my destination safely and for the price quoted, he would report him (taxi drivers in Istanbul can be suspect). Pro tip: if you visit Istanbul, please learn some Turkish. I love the Ritz, and I cannot wait to return to this property specifically. They were so kind and wonderful; I know it is their job, but they went above and beyond. Teşekkür ederim!

Yelp
We just stayed at the ritz Carlton from April 30 to May 3 and I can't say enough good things about it. It was situated up on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and you could easily get to the main part of town either by walking or getting a taxi pretty easily. The service was impeccable from the concierge to the wait staff to the front desk. I was especially impressed with the spa located in the basement. It was equipped with the most beautiful pool, a beautiful and clean spa, a hot dry sauna and a steam sauna and a particularly luxurious hammam where we were pampered and felt so taken care of. Eka and okta took care of us, they were both from Bali and I highly recommend them. You will leave your stress in the Tx room I guarantee it. They had a palates reformer and a lot of exercise equipment as well. My only complaint is that I really wanted to buy the shea butter they finished the massage with and they were sold out. It would be nice to know what they used so I could perhaps find it. We left at 4:30 in the morning and they came to get our bags punctually and made the entire process so easy. Istanbul has 18 million people and the traffic is nasty but i have to say that the grand bizarre and spice market is energizing and everywhere you look there is so much beauty, history, and the mosques; it was hard to leave. I would easily go back.

Yelp
I stayed in the partial view Bosphorus room. I really enjoyed my stay. I read that the hotel had renovations a few years ago. I loved the updated decor and style of my hotel room. Modern but with Turkish influences. The blue mosiac tiles panel above the bed looks fabulous. My room's view wasn't beautiful but not bad because I had partial view of the Bosphorus and the Vodaphone football stadium. The bathroom is spacious and looked modern but with Turkish influence, much like the rest of the room. I wish the sink had double sinks but not a deal breaker for me. The bath tub was cute and after sanitizing it, I enjoyed my baths in it. I visited the indoor pool in the spa area and the pool is great. There were also plenty of lounge chairs and towels. The employees in the spa area were always friendly and welcoming. The sauna rooms are closed due to COVID but the spa still offers massage and hamam services. I visited the outdoor inifnity pool on level 2/open air terrace. The infinity pool was open during my visit but the water was too cold for me to get in. The open air terrace is a very cute area with lounge chairs, views of the Bosphorus and Vodaphone stadium and I saw a fitness area there too. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were friendly but I didn't feel they were as personable. But they are often busy. I had Afternoon Tea at the Atlier lounge. It was a great experience and the price is a deal compared to other cities I've had tea time at. The sandwiches, desserts and pasteries were presented beautifully. I ordered green tea. I was very full after my tea time. The younger male waiter wasn't super friendly but the older male waiter was very friendly, conversational and took several photos for me. I would definitely return to Ritz Carlton Istanbul in the future.

Yelp
Update: they did interviews and the housekeeping lady confessed that she did steal the money. They are returning the money stolen. Got money stolen from my room by housekeeping at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul. They're telling me I have to pay for the nights I stayed with points (I booked 5 nights on purpose, not less because you get better value with the 5th night free), they won't reimburse anything, and security/manager kept saying they would come to room soon but ended up an hour late. Manager initially told me I can pay for one night and leave (I've been here less than 24 hours) but then later changed it to me needing to pay for 2 days because I checked in yesterday 11:30pm or so. At one point the front desk guy said they're literally in the elevator but it took another several calls and 20 more mins after that before they showed up. I was exhausted and dirty and waiting to shower and I just kept waiting and waiting. Basically I scheduled a cleaning, left my room this afternoon, I had 2850 Turkish lira and wallet in my left pocket with my mask and airpods in the right pocket. I know I had this because I took out 1500 twice for a total of 3000 just a few hours before, spent exactly 30 on lunch (was 25 and 5 tip) and 120 on nearby palace museum entry (only a few hours passed during this incident and I can recall exactly what I did, no other stuff was purchased or paid for, and I'm 100% certain on this) I come back and my shorts are folded... money, airpods, and mask have moved to the left pocket (I never put my mask in same pocket as money because it's not sanitary and I also always keep airpods on right side with my phone). Because of this I knew something was wrong, and I immediately counted the money. I noticed it was short 300. During the investigation apparently they found that the cleaning lady had called into security because she dropped the pants on the floor and security came in and they verified the amount of money together to be 2550. To me that makes it really really strange and even more likely that she stole. I now have confirmation that they were touching the money in the contents of my pocket so I wasn't just imagining things. And now I'm not sure if the security guard was in on it as well. Now I have to stay here tonight because I am being forced to pay for it. I don't feel comfortable at all and they're not doing anything of substance to help. I've been here for less than 24 hours and they insist on charging me for 2 nights. I'll be paying 35k points a night instead of 28k. They just keep saying they don't have evidence so can't blame the lady who will continue to keep going to peoples rooms after this incident.

Nick S.

Yelp
Very nice staff . Courteous and professional. Clean and hygienic facility. Good location by the touristic restaurants and hangouts . Walking distance from everything a tourist needs . Rooms are well equipped with your needs taken care of by responsive team . Another thing , the hotel smells beautiful!

Yelp
A deal on the Ritz that includes access to the club floor and lounge? Yes please. Don't know how my wife got the deal she did. But, I never complain about luxury treatment. In typical Ritz fashion they were on our luggage when the cabbie popped the trunk and had it waiting in our room once we were done going through our orientation with the club level concierge. You read that right, our floor had a dedicated concierge who gave us the lay of the land and explained hours and offerings of the lounge and got us set up with directions and reservations for dinner and a turkish bath. Our room was wonderfully elegant, exactly what we've come to expect from the Ritz. Marble bathroom with all kinds of products and some very cool tiling around the tub. We were upgraded to a room with a Bosphorus view that looked down to the riverside mosque. Comfy bed that we slept like babies in. The room had everything we needed and they left slippers and chocolates for us during evening turndown service. The lounge was really the kicker here. Again it had spectacular river views. A dining area was off to one side and a full bar and lounge area on the other. Food varied depending on the time of the day. They had prepared hot items and a chef to cook eggs during breakfast. We started every day with breakfast and typically returned for cocktails or snacks in the evening before we set out for dinner. All of the food I had was very good and we loved the desserts and Nespresso station at nighttime. Service was stellar as always. Front desk concierge was very helpful in not only pointing out the nearest tram stop (Kalabas) and explaining how to use and charge up the Istanbulkart. But, she even had one on hand for us to get us going. Which we left at checkout with a balance to pay it forward. We took the tram all over town and this was a great location. You can walk uphill to Taksim Square or downhill to the river or tram. Valets were great and able to assist us in telling directions to cabbie. That's a very nice perk for us. When we realized what we could have spent on breakfast, snacks and drinks that we had in the lounge during our stay it became clear that we got quite the deal. A luxury hotel at a discount is a nice treat. Thank you Ritz Carlton, we'll see you again.

Yelp
The hotel is located on the "new" side of the city, and very close to Taksim Square. ATMOSPHERE: The lobby is modern and contemporary. It's not a big footprint so everything is close by. I didn't see any lobby bar or restaurant. CHECK IN: Ahmed checked us in. He was very professional & welcoming. We had several issues with our room keys not being able to access the club & room floors. ROOM: We were in 1417 which has a view of the city heading up towards the square. There were 2 twin beds pushed together, which were firm yet comfortable, as were the pillows. All the usual amenities were there. Plug adapters are available through the hotel. BATHROOM: The all white marble bathroom has only a single basin with all the amenities, glass shower, soaking tub & toilet with bidet. WIFI: Free. CLUB: It's located on the 13th floor with views of the new stadium being built next door, river, and "old" city. They offered nice selections as well as an egg station for breakfast. The beverage refrigerator should be set colder since everyone in Europe is skimpy on ice. SERVICE: Most reception staff were professional. Club & valet/bell staff were great. CHECK OUT: Everything went smoothly. TIP: Take a cab to & from the airport rather than a private car. Fares were around $30 USD one way. OVERALL: Nice hotel in an area with similarly priced competitors.

Yelp
These people are so rude. I booked my room there and they emailed me to upsell me bigger rooms. As a person that stays in Marriott properties all over the world, I have never seen anything like that. They lost me.

Yelp
What can you say? It's the Ritz! It is amazing. Good food. Amazing view of the stadium and river. Corner rooms are the best. Turkish bath is perfect & highly recommended. Indoor pool is beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Best part is the flower/art shop inside the Ritz. The owner is so amazing. Beautiful arrangements were delivered to our room before checkin. I wish we couldve brought it back with us. He is also very helpful if you want guidance. Roof top bar is spectacular- Quiet during the day to work but just enough action at night. Decebt food, view & drinks in the vip lounge

Yelp
Bad bad service, asked for feather free room, called them from NY to make sure it will happen. Feather pillows were still there, on top did not change sheets. I am still waiting for this to be resolved over 40 min. There are better hotels you can stay at for the same money, don't bother with this one.

Yelp
I recently spent four nights at the Ritz Carlton Istanbul. My experience with the hotel was good for the most part, but it's the small details that count with a company that prides itself with customer service. First off, once you arrive at the hotel, you're required to go through TSA-like security. Although it sounds odd, I'm glad the property does this. I definitely felt safer as a result. Check-in was efficient. I booked two rooms at least four months ago and requested rooms on non-smoking floors, which the site confirmed was guaranteed. Unfortunately, the hotel issued us adjoining rooms on a smoking floor, which would have been disastrous for my sister and me. Luckily, the gentleman at the front desk was able to accommodate us. Our rooms were not ready yet, so we ventured up to the club level lounge where there were two lounge areas and some extra sitting room. The club level concierges, who both were friendly, greeted us. After a few minutes our rooms were ready. The rooms were fairly large for European standards. The decor was nothing too elaborate - think a step above a JW. For the most part, the place was super clean, but there were a couple of random hairs in the shower and the bathtub - not a huge deal but this shouldn't be happening at a RC. Not surprisingly, the bed was too plush and very uncomfortable for my taste. This is a preference thing due to my decrepit body, and I never expect to get a good night's sleep a great night of sleep at most hotels. I found service to be really inconsistent in the hotel. Some of the guys working the front desk were absolutely clueless. The concierges on the club level were hit or miss - either kind of cold to super friendly. If you do have club level access, which by no means is an exclusive thing (100 euros extra for a double occupancy room), see Rashif, one of the concierges. He's a super nice guy and knows all the best places to hit in the city, whether it is something high end to the best kokorec stand. One huge plus with this property is the spa, pool and gym. Outside of Four Seasons properties in the states with contracts with Equinox clubs that are attached, the gym at the RC was one of the best hotel gyms I've been to. They had more than enough cardio equipment and just about anything you can ask for weights and machine wise. Even cooler was that there was a Pilates reformer! The pool area is absolutely beautiful and a very relaxing place to lounge or even sleep. I'm not a fan of spa treatments, so I cannot comment on the quality of the spa, but the employees were super friendly. All in all, this was a great stay at the RC. I was pleased with the majority of the stay, but at a property like this, the little things do matter - something that was lacking at times at this RC.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel with perfect service smack dab in the middle of istanbul. We took a room with a bosphorous view so we were in Europe looking out over Asia. One evening as we cam home from a late night of dinner and dancing there was a piano set up in the lobby with people from all over the world singing songs and a guest was playing the piano. It was magical! The spa is spectacular.

Typical Ritz Carlton service - and by typical I mean outstanding. They were not able to accomodate me one night in the middle of a multi week stay in istanbul, (what can I say, I booked late). They made arrangements to make everything as seamless as possible. I had to do minimal packing to change rooms - I let them transfer my laundry, dry cleaning, hanging clothes, and bags to storage. Upon check in 1 night later, everything was all set and they welcomed me with my room all ready to go. The lounge is absolutely worth it. It makes the large hotel and large city seem so much more like home. Beautiful views too!

Yelp
Probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The highlight: the service from the hotel staff; honestly superior quality for those looking for an unforgetable stay in istambul.
