NOBU Singapore

I don’t quite understand the hype. Food was good but not exceptional enough to justify the price tag. We came for omakase lunch on a Sunday. One little annoyance at the start was that the dress code explicitly says long pants required for men but the staff didn’t enforce this. Lots of guests came in shorts. I would have definitely worn short pants as well had I known this. Either enforce it or just drop it altogether. The common theme for the food was that it was good but nothing to rave about. Portions are petty small. The steak for example was nicely grilled, rather small and a bit more chewy than I would have hoped. The sushi was good but unmemorable. The highlight and only really memorable part for me personally was the dessert. The Nobu team even gave us a complementary extra dessert since it was our anniversary.

arrived earlier before their opening time and was escorted to their bar for a seat to wait for them to open. Went for lunch, ordered everything in the ala carte menu. Service was excellent. Water refills and green tea without asking the staff to do it. Food was served just like how i want it. Complementary birthday dessert as it was my birthday month. Will definitely be back again.

Came here for my husband's birthday celebration with some friends. The tacos were amazing~ we ordered a variety of them. Apart from the tacos, I would recommend the black cod miso and king crab creamy spicy! Restaurant's service was exceptional. They gave us a complimentary birthday cake in the form of a strawberry ice-cream cake(?) which tasted phenomenal.

Celebrated my birthday and Christmas with my parents here on the 25th of December. We had such a lovely time there! Especially loved the Kelp salad, and the Tuna Sashimi with guacamole and dry miso. Beef toban yaki was tender and juicy, black cod butter lettuce was fresh and delicious as well. Besides the food, we were serenaded with Christmas songs by a team from Maddspace. And Santa gave me a cookie too 💖 Was absolutely spoilt with the birthday treats.❣️ Special thanks to John and team!

It’s a decent place to bring family and friends for a casual or special occasion and celebration, we were here during Christmas and was so fun to have Santa and Carolling team cheering up. We ordered bento, food portion was big and sufficient, sashimi and sushi was fresh , fusion and vegetarian choices available too. The waitress was helpful, and we had enough time to sit and enjoy the ambience. No time limits.

Came to Nobu for their lunch buffet for my father’s early birthday on a weekend. Costing at $150/pax, the buffet includes free flow of their usual mains, small portions of their appetisers and desserts too. The food was great, with the miso cod being a must try dish at Nobu. The other dishes weren’t exceptional, but not terrible too. However, due to the other large groups of people who were brunching too, the noise levels got insanely loud so I dont think the brunch is appropriate for an intimate meal! Service was great and even gave my dad a birthday card so that was cute! Overall, food is great but just wasn’t expecting the bad acoustics. Its a place to try at least once in your life and I would bring people here for a quick casual fancy meal

I have been to Nobu for lunch and dinner a couple of times. Food is delicious Hector is an amazing chef. The team at Nobu Singapore takes care of the customers very well, great level of service from Vivien, John and Ricky. The restaurant makes you feel like it’s your home. I will be back again ! Highly recommend restaurant to visit in Singapore. Nice ambience, food is reasonably priced. Cocktails are delicious

Trying NOBU for the first time thanks to Krisflyer-NOBU offer. Specially curated omakase menu and it didn't disappoint at all. Our original seat was at a table and we requested if they could sit us at the counter, which they kindly accommodated. All the dishes were unique in their own way. Some of them with the sauces that were so good that we were looking for a way to slurp it up. Maybe should have done it with the drink pairing, but alas, that we forgot. A big thank you to Vivien (hope I'm spelling the name right), for surprising us with an additional dessert because you saw us enjoying our meal and wanted us to enjoy your favourite dessert. And yes! It also became our favourite dessert and my favourite dish of the evening.
