Where to celebrate New Year's Eve in Singapore - SilverKris

"An award-winning fine-dining restaurant presenting a lavish six-course New Year’s Eve omakase ($485) that showcases exceptionally fresh seafood such as sea urchin paired with caviar, yuba and wasabi soy, plus a Singapore-style seafood ceviche and Peruvian–Japanese–inspired courses from executive sushi chef Tim Otomo and head chef Hideki Maeda. Mains include scallop and foie gras in vanilla miso alongside Josper oven-grilled A5 Japanese Wagyu dressed in truffle sauce with shaved fresh truffles, and the meal concludes with a decadent kagami mochi with orange–lime compote, petit fours and a glass of Champagne to toast the new year." - Dinesh Ajith

this is our first time at Nobu and more than the food, we were really impressed with the service there! shout out to thompson who answered all our questions really patiently and recommended good menu items for us first timers 🥳🙏 the servers were really attentive to clear our plates too once we are done/ once they see that it needs replacing. drinks: 1) the sake was quite nice but nothing crazy for the price. food: 1) the signature dish: black miso cod is AMAZING as everyone says ☺️ the cod was super soft and flavourful, it was sweet and savoury at the same time. 2) we tried the singapore ceviche too and it was great but nothing too different from other ceviche. 3) we had the yellowtail jalapeño as the appetiser and the flavours are as good as how you would imagine it to be. 4) the tuna roll was SUPER GOOD in my opinion as they served up high quality cuts of tuna and the rice was super unique. dessert: 1) nobu cheesecake: as a cheesecake lover, this is super good! i find the gelato to be super interesting and refreshing. if you like cheesecake factory you are going to love this one ☝️ 2) [SPECIAL] anniversary cake: my bf and i were celebrating our anniversary and Nobu was so thoughtful to bring out an off-the-menu chocolate pumpkin cake for us and it was SUPERB. still thinking of it till today 👀 yea it was really good 😊 maybe we ordered the wrong sake or sake isn’t just our thing, but we would recommend skipping on it 😅 black miso cod is a must!

I loved the amazing lunch Bento box which also comes with an honest price. Food is plentiful and refined as usual at Nobu. Sitting at the counter you can enjoy a fantastic view on the preparation of the artistic plates by the talented chefs.

Nobu Singapore delivers an exquisite dining experience that blends refined Japanese precision with bold Peruvian flavors. Nestled within the Four Seasons Hotel, the ambiance is sleek yet welcoming, complete with an outdoor Japanese garden that adds a serene touch. Signature dishes like the Miso Black Cod and Yellowtail Jalapeño live up to the global Nobu reputation, while the attentive service elevates the overall experience. A must-visit for anyone seeking a luxurious yet soulful meal in the heart of the city.

Second time here after a year. We enjoyed the first time more. The scallop was overcooked (would recommend a nice short sear instead) and the chicken was dry. The cod is still delicious, as is the rock shrimp and the small selection of savoury buffet dishes. The dessert buffet had an insect landing on various items, and the service was slower — we had empty dishes taking up space on the table throughout the meal. Given that the price has increased since our last visit while the standard has dropped, that’s disappointing.

The food decent. The sashimi, sushi, and ceviche was much better than the cooked food. The cooked food was either too spicy (which is odd as we didn’t order any spicy food) or burnt. Compared its price point, I would say it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t be back anytime soon.

I had an incredible dining experience at Nobu Singapore today, where the food and service truly stood out. The grilled shrimp skewers with vibrant sauces were perfectly cooked, and the yellowtail with jalapeños was a fresh, zesty highlight. Even the simple salad was elevated with a light, flavorful dressing. The portion sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied without feeling overwhelmed. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive—staff were there when needed but never hovered, striking a perfect balance. The timing of the food service was spot-on, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was sophisticated yet relaxed, with a warm, inviting ambiance. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
