NOBU Tokyo has a relaxed atmosphere—you don’t need to keep your voice down like in some other Japanese restaurants. We ordered the 18,000 yen set menu: seven courses, generous portions, and everything tasted great. Not many locals around, but for my Chinese + American palate, this was a perfect meal.

Great service from the staff, as we've come to expect from Nobu chains. The dishes were refined and flavorful. The menu is so extensive that choosing is stressful. I recommend reserving your table.

We’ve experienced some consistently great meals at Nobu establishments around the world, and Nobu Tokyo lived true to the high expectations we’d established as a result. The restaurant setting was both intimate and elegant, with clear attention to detail throughout. We were impressed by the breadth of the menu and opted to share multiple appetizers and mains so that we could try as much as possible. Both the food and the service we had was superb and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

My first visit to Nobu Tokyo with high expectations. I have visited one’s if NYC, Oslo, London … and yeah seeing this brand grows from restaurants into hotel chain. The ambiance was super. Although it is a big restaurant, they keep the atmosphere warm and inviting for all the guests. The music was appropriate and we have privacies while being able to have conversation without straining our vocal chords. Everything looked good, well executed, maintained, and well maintain from the moment we came in till we departed. The food was very well presented. The humble gyozas were divine. That stole the show. My sashimi dinner was almost too pretty too eat. The cakes at their shop were so dry and crumbly - not quite up to standard that I couldn’t possibly give that away as gifts after tasting them. The service was impeccable.

Nobu Tokyo offers a refined dining experience with excellent service, elegant ambiance and a strong cocktail menu. Be sure to reserve well in advance, as it’s a popular spot and tables fill up quickly. The food is good, well-plated and beautifully presented, but if you’re going strictly for the food, you might find similar flavors at local restaurants for a fraction of the price. That said, it’s the experience, atmosphere and attention to detail that make Nobu worth it. Watching the chefs work behind the counter, the seamless service and the overall vibe make it a great choice for a special night out. If you enjoy high-end dining with style and substance, Nobu Tokyo is a solid pick. I’m glad I went, definitely recommend.

Wow the food here is inspirational. I have never tasted some of the combinations of ingredients I’ve tasted here. A very very pleasant experience! Must visit in Tokyo

The set menu of 14000 per person is lack lustre. As a frequent patron of Nobu in NYC, the Tokyo chain was an anticlimax. Whilst the wagyu and miso cod fish (mind you for an extra charge) was exceptional, the rest of the courses left much to be desired. I don’t recommend the Tokyo branch

Google
We've been fortunate to visit Nobu restaurants and hotels around the world 🌎 So my wife had booked Nobu Tokyo as a treat during our time there A bench seat viewing the kitchen was fascinating, watching the professional chefs work their magic. A cracking cocktail list: I chose a special Negroni. My wife loves Nobu's sake Of course the food was delicious 😋 The restaurant filled up and a large table was pretty noisy. But we had a great time here. Highly recommended

Yelp
When you are tired of lines, dirty places, poor service and using Google Translate to understand the menus--NOBU of Toyko to the rescue! They saved us one of our nights in Tokyo. Service here is unparalleled excellent. We had Salmon-one of the few fishes that night that was fresh. We had baked and sushi Salmon. The Sushi Salmon was okay but not as good as the fish market sushi. The Baked Salmon was very good. The House Salad was excellent with house dressing--the best. You will have to ask your waiter what fishes are fresh because most are not--there are only a few that are native local. Most of the dinners were Caucasian--the only Japanese were the staff. It was the only place on our Japan trip that did not have mainly Asian customers. Food quality was a 4 of 5 overall, Service a 5 so 4.5=5 on the Yelp scale this time. Plus they saved us--we were tired of translating Japanese menus by this point. Next door is a 7-Eleven if you need it. Upscale neighborhood. Pleasant atmosphere. About $50 US a person with no alcohol.

Yelp
We came here as part of a group tour and the menu had been preselected. Our Bento boxes were an amazing presentation of sashimi, sushi, grilled cabbage , pork, miso soup and spring roll. Ambiance is welcoming. It's a medium sized dining area with a view into the kitchen. Service was warm and welcoming. Our menu was fish oriented and I was very happy with the quality and quantity. Dessert was a lemon sorbet. Delicious!

Yelp
My recent dinner at the Nobu Tokyo was an exquisite experience. The Sautéed Shrimp and Scallop Dinner with Wasabi Pepper Sauce was a culinary masterpiece. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the wasabi pepper sauce was bursting with robust flavors. The combination of the robust wasabi pepper sauce and juicy shrimp and scallops was fabulous. The ambiance at Nobu Tokyo was upscale yet inviting and the service was excellent and very attentive. If you're looking for a decadent dish, the Sautéed Shrimp and Scallop Dinner at Nobu Tokyo is a must-try.

Yelp
Holy moly this was such a special dinner. They made the birthday celebration soooo special. And the food!! Get anything and everything that says miso in the name or description bc it will blow your mind. Our server was so great. They had a purse basket and the timing of the dishes was perfect room. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My hotel was in walking distance to this location so I decided to check it out for dinner and I'm so glad I did. I chose the first tier omakase option since I wasn't too hungry and it's priced at 13000 yen. I had the nicest chef! He was super friendly and it was nice to have a conversation about our cultural backgrounds in regards to food. He has been a sushi chef for 10 years from Taiwan. Despite being one for 10 years, he is still considered to be quite young in the sushi industry. Each plate of this course was absolutely delicious. My favorite was definitely the salmon dish. Highly recommend if you're in the Roppongi area.

Yelp
A truly amazing experience I've been to many Nobu's this is definitely the best. It has a much more comprehensive menu than the Nobu's in the states, and the cocktail menu is very unique. If you make it to Tokyo, I would definitely put this on your itinerary.

Yelp
Visiting Nobu Tokyo was an experience in itself! We went two times during our visit to Japan. Both times the Omakase dinner experience was incredible. The selection made by Chef Nobu and Chef Ryo from the NY Nobu where amazing and delicious. It will always be a memorable experience for my family as both Chefs came to our table to welcome us and greet us. We look forward to going to Nobu Miami and Nobu NY.

Yelp
It can be difficult to get into some of the more renowned sushi bars in Tokyo. They usually have limited seating and reservations are booked months in advance. Nobu Tokyo, though, is spacious, reservations are fairly easy to get, and the sushi (and other menu options) are fantastic. The first time my husband took me there, he mentioned that his parents like O-toro tuna the best. At 1600Y for a piece, yes one, I was unsure if I wanted to add that to our tab. Oh my. Now each time I go, I order two to start and usually add another. It's just that good. The salmon, which is much cheaper, is amazing as well, but nothing will beat the O-toro (unless maybe I luck out and end up getting into one of those renowned sushi bars with 6 seats). The menu is quite big, so aside from the sushi and sashimi, you will spend a good deal of time trying to decide what to get. There is so much to choose from... wagyu, fish dishes, crab and lobsters, pastas, sliders... There are many pages to flip through. Final thought on the menu: please consider trying one of Nobu's signature sake. My husband doesn't like sake, but this was so smooth that we ordered an additional serving. Best sake I've had. Ever. Service is amazing. English speaking staff and English menu. Awesome food. You can't go wrong in choosing Nobu Tokyo.

Yelp
Probably the most beautiful of all the Nobu Restaurants. We went for his 9th Anniversary, and it was really great to see him in Tokyo. Unlike Nobu Malibu (which is for poseurs and suckers), this place knows how to do it.

Yelp
Nobu at its finest. The yummy continues across the nation. Happy to see a Nobu where I travel. Food consistent amazing. Service very good. Prices well what can I say, It's Nobu. You get what you pay for.

Yelp
Nobu was in town, so I was lucky to get reservations. Service was excellent. Decor was dark but elegant and spacious. We got the special menu which started with crab tacos, and proceeded to have fugu, scallops with caviar, a generous portion of lobster, I can't remember it all, but will post pictures of most of it. We each got a different dessert, one with yuzu and one with strawberries and cream, both delicious! Nobu came by several times to check on us. The special menu ended up being $380 for two after a couple of drinks.

Yelp
I love Nobu world wide and rare Nobu in London Berkeley Sq and Nobu Malibu amongst my top restaurants wold wide. Old Nobu Tokyo was also wonderful - I ate there once next to Cindy Crawford and President Clinton and met Chef Nobu himself. The new Nobu Tokyo is just not all that. A lot of the cooked dishes are somehow too oily. All the same menu as elsewhere but just not as good - and the atmosphere is hotel - conference center... not what it was.

Yelp
no locals. no dinner menu on website. all tourists. half empty restaurant at 7:30 pm. do not waste your time and money at this very mediocre (sh*t) restaurant. the fish they serve you are not fresh. they are frozen products! the tuna had bloody spots and was extremely fibrous for a single piece of nigiri that costs $16 usd a piece. (look at pics) the sushi rice which is the key ingredient to any nigiri. it fell apart easily. the meal cost $235 usd. i felt like i would have been better off going to a local conveyor belt sushi restaurant and paying for myself and 8 other strangers with my money.. yes all caps. because that is how angry i feel. they put wasabi inside the uni. wtf.

Yelp
Great food and they made a surprise birthday dessert for my husband, took a pic of us and printed it out before we left. Also our server literally run out to help us get Uber.

Yelp
Not impressed, expensive and not very tasty, I had better sushi in Shibuya, miso soup not tasty, I did like the pepper crusted sea bass and passion martini but that's about it, they get 3 stars because customer service was good otherwise would be 1 star.

Yelp
I can't really say anything but perfection. Yes it's expensive but it's worth it! The food and total experience of feeling luxury in every way.

Yelp
Fusion Japanese is not everyone's favorite. But THIS IS IT! Perfect balance of traditional Japanese Cusine with international vision!

Yelp
Wow. The sashimi tacos were out of this world. Try them all! The rest of the food was also amazing.

Yelp
No one serves like the Japanese. They are The masters in hospitality. Nobu Tokyo is a perfect example of a typical Japanese atmosphere. Everything with no exceptions was outstanding; the food, the sake, the service provided by Yu, and the ambiance. Yu walked us outside and couldn't thank us enough for dinning with them. A pleasant experience.

Yelp
Sleek contemporary room easy walking distance from ANA and US Embassy. Excellent service. Interesting menu well executed.
