It can be difficult to get into some of the more renowned sushi bars in Tokyo. They usually have limited seating and reservations are booked months in advance. Nobu Tokyo, though, is spacious, reservations are fairly easy to get, and the sushi (and other menu options) are fantastic. The first time my husband took me there, he mentioned that his parents like O-toro tuna the best. At 1600Y for a piece, yes one, I was unsure if I wanted to add that to our tab. Oh my. Now each time I go, I order two to start and usually add another. It's just that good. The salmon, which is much cheaper, is amazing as well, but nothing will beat the O-toro (unless maybe I luck out and end up getting into one of those renowned sushi bars with 6 seats). The menu is quite big, so aside from the sushi and sashimi, you will spend a good deal of time trying to decide what to get. There is so much to choose from... wagyu, fish dishes, crab and lobsters, pastas, sliders... There are many pages to flip through. Final thought on the menu: please consider trying one of Nobu's signature sake. My husband doesn't like sake, but this was so smooth that we ordered an additional serving. Best sake I've had. Ever.
Service is amazing. English speaking staff and English menu. Awesome food. You can't go wrong in choosing Nobu Tokyo.
