15 Best Breweries in Charlotte

"NoDa Brewing Company is one of the original forces in Charlotte's beer scene. Its North Tryon Street location is an ideal gathering spot, with a large, colorful taproom outfitted with local art and ample seating. The exposed brick walls, natural light, and wood-paneled bar give the space an unfussy, approachable feel, regardless of your beer knowledge. Outside you’ll find a spacious, shaded patio area where you can challenge your companions to a game of cornhole." - Lauren Levine

Google
We loved going to NoDa Brewing when we lived in Charlotte-it was one of our favorite spots. The Tin Kitchen food truck was always there serving up consistently delicious food, and the outdoor patio made it the perfect place to hang out with our dogs. Great beer, great vibe, and always a good time! We miss it dearly and look forward to a visit on our next NC trip

This is a beautiful establishment with a wide range of seating options. The venue is large and there is also an outside venue where dogs are welcomed. The drinks are amazing and the staff are super friendly. This is a great place to visit and relax with everyone, even your animal companions. Thank you NoDa Brewing Company for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning and we highly recommend this place.

Google
The Carolina Quencher is absolutely my favorite beer 🍻 Most importantly, we always enjoy spending time here because they go above and beyond to operate a state-of-the-art brewery with special events and food trucks. They are LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 friendly and support the community through meaningful events such as their 5K Run. We really love and highly recommend this adorable brewery.

Google
Great beer selection. Large parking lot. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. I had my first ever raw beer. A beer that was never boiled. They sell cans cans and make crowlers for beer that is not canned.

Google
Attended the vegan fest here this past Sunday and it was a whole vibe! They're still working in the area, so it made it a little difficult to find the entrance , but after that, we had a blast! The brewery is nice. The festival is kid friendly. The food trucks were tasty and the music kept us dancing. If you get a chance, definitely pull up. You won't be dissasppointed. They have some seating, but you can always bring your own.

Great beer selection and definitely dog friendly!

Google
Incredible local brewery! One of the oldest in Charlotte and it really shows cause they know what they're doing. Beautiful location & cozy taproom. Would recommend trying the Captain Peanut Butters Foggy Morning (pictured) it's a peanut butter porter aged for 1 year (!!) In whiskey barrels. It was fantastic.

Google
We visited with our pooch on a Sunday afternoon and immediately got the vibe that NoDa is a popular place. The beer garden was bustling families and their own canines. Since dogs are welcome inside, we decided to grab a table and stay out of the heat. In between other customers, the beer tenders were friendly and chatty which always pleases us. Great stop! Put NoDa on your list.

Yelp
Good beer. Nice indoor and outdoor spaces. You can get multiple pour sizes. What's on tap varies. Dog friendly indoors too for those of you worried about the heat! Friendly atmosphere too! Someone offered my son a cupcake as they were wrapping up a birthday party.

Yelp
Most breweries are great but NoDa is top notch! Hubby and I met his brother and our sister in law here while visiting Charlotte. I loved the outdoor areas as well as the inside seating options. Lots of trendy spots to hang out while enjoying their delicious beer. Perfect for children and furry friends, too! The bartenders were great, fast and friendly. I ordered my usual - a flight! The coco loco porter was excellent as were the banana split white stout and the cheerwine ale. I even tried something a little different, the New England IPA you can't impeach vision. Hubby enjoyed his usual IPAs. I can't wait until next time NoDa!

Yelp
We took the NoDa brewery tour at 4pm on a Saturday, and it was so fun! Started in 2011, we learned that NoDa is the second oldest brewery in Charlotte, behind OMB. Our friendly guide took us around the machinery, describing the brewing process and history of NoDa. He was a super chill, funny guy, and you're welcome to take your beer along with you on the tour, which lasts about 30 min with plenty of opportunities for questions. The group was about 10-15 people and included kids, so it's all very family friendly. With both indoor and outdoor seating, this NoDa location is a super fun place to hang. Dog-friendly, and we also saw some more private spaces rented out for parties. To drink, we started with the Peach Life, a milkshake IPA, and Polo Weather, a Czech amber lager. We really enjoyed both! Later on, we tried the Cheerwine Ale to see what all of the fuss is about. NGL this one kind of tasted like cherry medicine to me, so would not get it again, but I didn't grow up with Cheerwine so am probably not the target demo. That afternoon there was also a food truck and Makers Market on the grounds. We enjoyed chatting with the vendors, and ended up buying a candle and some baked goods. Overall an awesome way to spend a Saturday!

Yelp
NoDa Coco Loco: NoDa Brewing was founded in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Although I've become less of a beer guy since my college days, I have a hard time passing up trying certain craft beers (especially if they're free). Last summer when I attended a wedding in North Carolina our Airbnb had one of these stocked in the fridge. I couldn't bring myself to drink a porter in the sweltering NC heat, so I brought it back to WI to sip this winter. It's an American Porter that pours a deep mahogany color and has aromas of chocolate and roasted malts. It is supposed to have a taste that has a subtle bitterness from the chocolate but is balanced out by the sweet organic toasted coconut. Personally, I tasted mostly a heavy dark chocolate, but I don't have the most refined palate when it comes to beers. For those with more sophisticated tastes, it must be a good porter as Coco Loco was the recipient of the 2012 Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal and the 2021 U.S. Open Beer Championship Bronze Medal. For me this was just okay, but I think porter lovers will really enjoy it, so I'll say it's Doughboy approved. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Yelp
NoDa is an amazing place and you should definitely go check it out. Bring your dog and a water bowl, and drink your face off. Good beer and great folks. The ambience is fantastic and your dog is welcome inside.

Yelp
NoDa has numerous IPA's on tap and they are excellent. If you haven't been there, put it first on your list.

Yelp
I have loved NoDa Brewing Co. for a very long time (they're one of Charlotte's OG breweries, after all!), but I developed a whole new level of love for them after hosting a friend's engagement party there last weekend. First of all, they do not have a rental fee for their small private room and the row of 10-12 tables outside of it. I repeat - COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. I was blown away to learn this (especially after seeing other local breweries charging up to $500/hour for private events). NoDa does this as a way to give back to the Charlotte community, which is just all around awesome. The space was perfect for our event - the private room at the back is small (but it worked great for us - we put all the food and gifts in there), and it was fun/probably more COVID-safe to have the seating out in the open with the rest of the brewery anyway. Appreciate how they let you bring in outside food too, and of course their beer selection is exceptional! But above all else, I have to give a huge shoutout to Ashley, NoDa's Taproom and Events Manager, for being so wonderful to work with. She was easy to communicate with, provided answers to all of our questions and even helped us secure drink tickets for our guests (which she found out about one day in advance). She was super friendly and courteous as well - really great at her job! Truly hard to think of any way the experience could have been better - I almost didn't want to give this "best-kept secret" of the Charlotte event market away by writing this review, but this amazing brewery deserves all the great feedback and publicity there is. Keep being rockstars, NoDa - your community appreciates you!

Yelp
Great venue with a huge outdoor area with plenty of places to sit. The indoor space is also huge and lively. The bartenders were all great and personable. The beer list abundant and the lager is the best I've had. If I lived in the area, I would be there often!

Yelp
NoDa Brewing is a chill brewery that isn't quite in NoDa proper, but it's close enough (between NoDa and Sugar Creek). The day I went, they were having a pop up market so it's great they provide a space to local vendors to sell their wares. All of their staff were friendly and helpful so that is a plus to me. I appreciate when staff make great suggestions and participate in conversations. I also appreciated that they carried a seltzer and a wine option for those who prefer light drinking when spending time with friends. Overall, it's a casual, friendly place that I'd go to again when I want a little peace and a brew or a seltzer.

Yelp
Forgot to review this place when I was in NC in May! My friend and I chose to visit here as we saw on their website they offer free tours. We arrived right as it was starting and our tour guide was awesome. I can't quite remember his name, maybe Chuck? Don't hold me to that. He had a ton of knowledge to share and was a great guide. Afterward we got flights and enjoyed them on the patio. Not every beer tickled my fancy but I was still glad to have tried them. Will definitely stop by if I find myself in Charlotte again!

Yelp
Untapped has their current draft menu and no password is required for their free wifi. Can't really add anything that hasn't been said other than, due to covid, they are attempting to do everything hands free which means they ask you if you want a tip added to your credit card and if so, how much? It definitely makes paying awkward, but it wasn't a huge deal as I nearly always tip. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, wifi is strong and free just like 'Merica, lots of free parking in a dedicated lot. No in house grub, but they bring in food trucks. Kids seem to be welcomed here and they are dog friendly outside as well. Plenty of cans can be purchase for the take home. They do flights and some pints can be had for only 5 bucks!!! If only all breweries were like this. This is one of my top 3 breweries at which to hang out and just chill. Music is always mellow and spacing is good. Good vibes here, with good homemade beers. Try Cocoloco coconut porter and the Radio Haze NE style IPA. Good lovin'!

Yelp
So far Noda Brewing has been one of the better breweries that I have been to since moving to Charlotte. The parking lot is a little small so it can be a pain to get a space but the taproom is big with plenty of seating. There is also a large outdoor area. There are food trucks and events that go on so check their social media to see what's up. I found the employees to be nice and the beer to be excellent. I love getting tasters so that I can try multiple things. So far my favorites have been all the Gose's that I've tried, the pumpkin beer, and the Oktoberfest.

Yelp
Love this brewery. Great selection of brews. Great food trucks. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Yelp
Soooo...there are actually two NoDa Brewery locations in CLT. One is the OG location that is now the barrel room and is definitely worth a visit for their experimental, barrel-aged, and sour-leaning stuffs. This location, however, is the bigger version that serves all their usual (and not so usual) suspects. They also have food trucks, so you can bites with your pints! The art inside and out here is just fantastic and the space is great! I snagged a seat at the bar and the staff was so gracious, friendly, and attentive. My bartenders were fabulous, made great recs, and let me sample before I did a flight and then a couple of subsequent pints. The beer selection is pretty vast, so I def recommend sampling, doing a flight before taking a pint plunge if it's your first intro to their full lineup. Everything on the beer menu is solid w/some definite standouts. I was really happy to see some barrel-aged and high gravity stuff on my visit! That being said, this should definitely be on your hitlist if you a beer nerd and visiting the Queen City or if your a local and just haven't done yourself the favor.

Yelp
Almost didn't go by NoDa but I'm so glad I did as it is now one of my new fave breweries. It's on the outskirts of downtown Charlotte and super easy to get to. First driving up to it you'd probably think it's a random warehouse, but head on down the side and to the back to see the patio/yard and entrance to get in. The patio/yard is huge and super dog-friendly, with plenty of tables and chairs and even a covered patio for events. The inside is also big with plenty of seating and two bars. So many great beers to choose from and the staff is super knowledgeable with the menu. I was surprised to find a guava beer on the menu; I didn't have that this time so I'll be sure to try it next time! My favorite beer is the NoDajito which is similar to a Hefeweizen and is made with mint... it was extremely refreshing and I loved the mint finish after a sip. I can't wait to return to tour the brewery, eat some yummy food and try more beers, and to attend a fun outdoor event when they make a come-back.

Yelp
Popped in here quickly yesterday to try a flight ($8 flight includes 4 brews) and catch the last bit of the Panthers game. It was a beautiful day so they had an equal distribution of people between the outdoor area and the indoor--I opted for the indoor space because that's where the TV's are (although kudos to team for piping out the game audio to the outdoor area too). Of the four brews that I tried, the Radio Haze was probably my favorite--I will likely return at some point to have a full pint when my friends from out of town come to visit! Special shout-out to the gentleman out front who gave a spiel about how the brewery is operating now in the 'new normal'--it was light and informative. interesting observation--the brewery doesn't take cash for your tabs, so be prepared with some plastic!

Yelp
We wanted to visit a brewing on Friday night and we decided to visit NoDa Brewing. The brewing was a cool brewing with many different options. From the options available we ordered Oktoberfest, Lager Days and Pinto Noir. We took our drinks and went outside to enjoy. It was a cool atmosphere with different people enjoying their drinks. Amazing place with different options according to your taste.

Yelp
Updating my review from 4-star to 5-star, due to the amazing customer service and customer satisfaction from NoDa! My original review was based upon limited food truck availability. However, there will now be multiple options and variety going forward. Pleasing customers and providing quality, genuine concern is definitely a major part of NoDa! Visiting soon!!

Yelp
NoDa has fabulous beers, a nice tap room and an outdoor beer garden. Their beers have won several medals in major competitions. Coco Loco won a silver medal at the GABF(Great American Beer Festival), NoDaJito won a gold medal at the GABF and Hop, Drop n Roll won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup. Don't fret if these don't float your boat, however. They typically have 25 beers to choose from! They have a food truck (Tin Kitchen) every day they are open. They often have special events such as "you drink we donate ", bands, trivia, the Charlotte Symphony and others. The owners care about their employees and get involved in charitable causes. What's not to like? Great beer with a good conscience! NoDa is definitely a can't miss brewery if you were visiting Charlotte or if live here! Cheers!

Yelp
One of the better breweries around. Great selection of craft beers at a decent price point. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. There is even a pavilion you can use. Normally a food truck on site which is very nice. They are serious with their COVID-19 enforcement. There is a person at the front door enforcing mask use and instructing you about table usage. They even got on to us for walking between tables without a mask. Oh, and for phase 3, you have to stay at a table. No walking around.

Yelp
This brewery, it is amazing! My bestie and I got here right as they opened and I am very impressed. I'm impressed with the atmosphere on the inside, the beers on tap, the outside patio, the service and the food truck outside called "Tin Kitchen." I really like that it is pet and kid friendly. The smells alone from the pork belly tacos are enough to smother you in excitement. My bestie took one bite and said she wanted the flavors in her mouth to stay forever. She also had the buffalo cauliflower taco and said it was really spicy but still very good and her order of the chana masala taco was "different but really good." My entire experience here has been so good! Our bartender's name was Ana and she was very friendly and pleasant to be around. She had a very good knowledge of the beers on tap and was very helpful. I just can't say enough about this place.

Nikki H.

Yelp
The beer/cider/wine was very mediocre. We came specially for the Thursday music trivia which said online it was from 6-8.30. We got there at 7.30 and the trivia was just ending. It was my birthday and trivia was a key part of the night which unfortunately was falsely advertised. The outside was cute but there was no games other than disc golf which you have to bring you're own discs to play. 2 beers was $19, recommend going somewhere cheaper for a better experience!

Yelp
Good selection of craft beers and friendly atmosphere. We came on a Saturday night during a charlotte futball game. My husband got a flight of beers and he enjoyed each one. He like the Weiz Not the best. I got the kombucha, which had ginger as its main flavor. I'm interested to try their nitro cold brew next time we visit!

Yelp
I'm so happy I made it here. My clients told me this was the place. It was great. I left a long entry earlier

Yelp
We walked from the train station and boy it seemed like a long walk particularly because of the heat however it was worth it. First, it is a good sized place. They have a lovely outdoor area where you can play cornhole or just sit and drink. We sat over at a smaller bar inside and one of the bartenders nicely went over all their beers with us and was very friendly and recommended some other places for us to try since we were visiting the area. I had a Ramble on Red which was a nice mellow red ale. My husband, on the bartender's recommendation, ordered their season Mojito Beer. Oh my goodness, light, refreshing and limey. So, of course my second beer was the Mojito. The third......... guess...... Definitely check the place out. In full disclosure, we took a Lyft back as it is a bit of a hike from the Noda station.

Yelp
Always a great time coming to this brewery. They have very friendly staff, a very chill environment, dog friendly and ample seating-indoor and out. They do not have a kitchen, but they do typically have a food truck available outside. They have some great beers on tap, one of my favorites is the Margarita Gose, which is seasonal (late spring typically). Definitely more of a family friendly environment than other breweries that I have been to.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
If you are not from the area, NoDa stands for North Davidson Road where this brewery originated. The brews are fantastic! We really like Citramicrom (IPA-Imperial), Forager Farmhouse Ale-Saison), and Gordgeous (Pumpkin Ale still available, yay!) Really cool art work and vibe in the taproom and mural outside.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
This place is always a stop when we go out. Even if it is for one drink! I even threw my husbands birthday party here. Love the amount of taps that are offered and the seasonals are amazing. Tonight I had the very berry. It was so delicious. It had uints of cherry,Blueberry, and BlackBerry. They have added more games and covered areas outside. They also have tin kitchen food truck most days. Making this a one stop shop after work!
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
NoDa was our first and last stop on our brewery tour in Charlotte--Do Not pass up this brewery!! It's not often that you find a a great line up of IPAs at one establishment that are all so good! Octomus Prime, Hop Drop and Roll, Radio Haze, and Sticky When Wet were all excellent. NoDa has one of the most engaging brewery staffs we've ever encountered. Jamar, Will, Mindy, and Wes went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and they can talk beer! Customer service at its best!! NoDa is now on our list of favorite breweries in the country. We'll be back!
google avatar

Jess R.

Yelp
I'm expecting, so I could only smell the beer and drink kombucha. But the atmosphere is is great. Our girlfriend hAd her daughters first birthday here and it was perfect for entertaining adults and children alike. I definitely plan to come back and encompass beer into my experience. The staff was really nice and helpful able to answer any questions you may have.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
A popular spot with a good selection of beers. We enjoyed the Czech Pilsner and Hopcakes which is one of their seasonal most popular beers. We stood at the bar. While there, it almost sounded like a broken record from the people ordering Hopcakes over and over again. It's a big brewery with places to sit inside and outside. Everyone was inside because of the weather. Also, a food truck was there. We didn't order anything. But is good to have if that hunger feeling strikes. Enjoy!

Yelp
A Charlotte staple. NoDa Brewing has been around forever, and it's easy to see why. I hadn't been in quite some time, so we decided to head on back for old times sake with friends a couple of weekends ago. We instantly all looked at each other like, "Why don't we come here more often?!" The new taproom is great. It was a cold day, so it was a bit crowded. They have tons of outdoor space, even some covered outdoor space, but it was too cold to use it at the time we were there. I've been when it's warmer, and the outside space is great. It really more than doubles their space. We were just surprised at how many beers they actually have on tap. So many styles! And for crying out loud, A $3 PINT?! I died an went to heaven because that no longer exists in Charlotte. Even a $4 or $5 dollar pint no longer exists. Thank you for not price gauging us like everyone else! I also loved how they are using their side bar as an IPA bar. So many different types of IPAs. IPA lovers rejoice! They also now have their new, spiked seltzer, Brizo. We were excited to try it, but we were ultimately disappointed. We really couldn't taste the advertised flavors. Too bland. But, I'm a beer lover anyways, so this isn't really my thing. NoDa, thank you for being you and remaining true to your original vision, while also being able to grow and change with our growing and changing city. We had forgotten about you for a sec, but we are now back and will be back many times.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming here, it's a hike for us but we try to come often. Great beers & other options for non-beer lovers. Such as kombucha and now a new spritzer. My husband loves the IPAs and they have quite the selection. They have board games & a very large outdoor area that usually has a game of corn hole or some other yard game. Usually a food truck frequently is here. Usually a Great atmosphere. I only say this with a disclaimer because once we came and someone had their young child's birthday.. yes at the brewery! I guess even the young ones need a drinking party, hahah!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolute gem and a great place to spend the afternoon. Beer as always is fabulous and the staff is great. Took the first brewery tour today since Covid and it was amazing. Talk about a great informative tour that makes me more loyal than ever to this great brewery! No better way to pass the time with some corn hole and some great beer!! Food truck too was a real nice bonus! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
NoDa brewery is definitely one of my favorite breweries in Charlotte. They have such a huge selection of deferent styles of beers. My favorite beer is the coco loco porter that has great chocolate and coconut notes that really make it an outstanding beer. One of the things that I enjoy about this brewery is that they bring interesting combinations and flavors to create delicious beer. Also this location is very kid and family friendly. I really enjoy coming here with my wife and daughter or even with my buddies or coworkers after work. Also don't forget to check out the huge patio and Tin Kitchen for a quick bite to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited Noda Brewery for a birthday get together/celebration. What a great space! Once we were inside we had tables blocked off for our party and ordered drinks at the bar. Not being too familiar with their taps, the bar staff was extreme accommodating, offering tastings and descriptions of each of the beers. And, yes, I found a perfect one. The staff was attentive and friendly, the place is very cool, with a clean and trendy vibe and the outside patio would be perfect on a great day for a beer!
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Don't bother! You can't get a taste of a beer before you buy. Their excuse is the mask mandate. I call BS cuz every other brewery I went to today let me have a small taste before I bought. And the staff here is totally inconsistent with their mask enforcement. One person was asked to put their mask on and others were not. Not cool! I won't be back. What a disappointment. If I could give have given no stars, I would have.
google avatar

Len R.

Yelp
No Duh! It's NoDa! Hop Drop is an extremely popular beer. It isn't my favorite because it tastes like resin. That's ok though, there are dozens of other great beers coming from NoDa. Simply put, if you're looking for a seasonal beer or something unique, NoDa must be on your list of breweries to sample. The Charlotte location has a food truck and outdoor games. Really cool place.
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
If you haven't tried Radio Haze it's a must. Very good brew and they sell it at local Harris Teeter. Please go try it you won't be disappointed

Yelp
The staff are phenomenal at NoDa Brewing. We arrived around 9:20pm on a Saturday night and they allowed my husband and my friend to try several samples (especially my friend, she couldn't make up her mind). I quickly opted for the Oktoberfest because I love it and I was excited to see it on tap. I'm hoping it sticks around for a while longer so I can continue to enjoy it. My husband got the Roaring Rye Pale Ale to bring home because the four packs of cans are on sale for $5, truly a steal. The pint draughts of the Rye Pale Ale are on sale for $2, a steal as well, but not my preferred style of beer. The music playing was basically a high school throwback playlist and I loved every minute of it. The environment is laid back and I can't wait to come back and hang out for a few hours. There is a fire pit outside and there are several board games near the entrance. Such a fun, laid back location. Come here for a relaxing day with good beer and you won't regret it.

Yelp
Awesome spot to grab a beer! The brewery has a lot of different varieties that are sure to please everyone. They also have a variety of rotating seasonal beers you can try as well. The staff here were very nice and explained each beer to me in detail to help me decide which one I wanted. The atmosphere was super chill and I loved the outdoor patio area. It had the most adorable string lights hung up and lot of seating. When I visited there was also a food truck on site so we could enjoy yummy tacos with our beers. Overall this is a really solid place.

Yelp
So... 100% full disclosure... I haven't been to NoDa Brewing since it was located, well... IN NoDa... Needless to say, it's been a minute! Firstly, I'd like to apologize for not being 100% sure of the bartender's name who took care of me, but I think his name was Mark... tall, dark hair, beard/mustache-ish facial hair, nice smile... but I digress... the point is, he was extremely friendly and helpful! I went up and said I wanted a dark porter style beer, but didn't know whether to go with the Coco Loco (a tried and true NoDa Brewing staple), the Premium Roast, one other dark option (the name is escaping me), or the new release: Mac Simum Effort?? (Ok, yeah, it had some clever spelling that I'm totally butchering here, but it's Maximum Effort... think Deadpool and carry on with life, ok... It was a brewery, and I cannot be faulted for not remembering EVERYTHING)... Anywho... the helpful bartender, whom I'll just continue to refer to as Mark, brought me side by side tastings of Coco Loco and Maximum Effort... and I had to go with the chocolaty/macadamia nut goodness of the 9.3% new release, Maximum Effort... holy cow, what a scrumptious beer! In the early days of NoDa brewery (when 'super hoppy' was all the rage) I really didn't love their offerings... these days it seems they've got an option for every single palate from sours to pale ales to porters and on down the line. I really enjoyed the new space... I loved the energy of the staff... and I love how many people were there enjoying local beer and good times with friends.... Thanks a bunch, NoDa! I'll come back around!

Yelp
If you haven't been to the 2nd oldest brewery in CLT you're doing yourself a huge disservice. NoDa Brewing has some of the best beers around, from their year-round favorites to the seasonal hits. From Hop Drop N' Roll to Nodajito, it's hard to beat this Charlotte staple. Started in 2011, and still going strong, this CLT Classic has a lineup and brewery that needs to be seen to be truly appreciated. With wonderful spaces inside and out, there is a place to fit any mood. This brewery doesn't pull any punches when it comes to great beers. They have outstanding year-round favorites that can be found all around Charlotte, and seasonal hits that get better every year. Stop in and grab a pint, start a conversation, and enjoy the best of what NoDa has to offer. If you show up on the right days you can snag some one the best tacos in the city for the Tin Kitchen food truck. Be sure to stop in for a tour of the facility while you're at it too!

Yelp
Had an awesome time on the back patio! Gotta love places with outdoor spaces and lots of room. Cool events & good beer too! First time I visited they had Girl Scout cookie pairings! Amazing.

Yelp
Flights are $8 for four 5-ounce pours. The bar tenders were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in selecting beers we would enjoy for our flights. I went very fruity, and loved the lime, kiwi and cherry varieties. The cucumber was a huge miss for me, but the purpose of the flight is to try out new things so I wasn't upset. BF enjoyed his flight, but couldn't stop comparing them to a place he absolutely loved in Dallas. He kept saying NoDa was good, but not great. The Tin, a food truck, is located right outside the patio and offers $1.50 sides (chips & salsa, pork & beans, etc) and $3.00 tacos, which were delicious. I was getting hangry, so I greatly appreciated The Tin :) A solid experience in Charlotte overall, even though I wouldn't call this brewery my first pick.

Yelp
I like the feeling of this place; I inadvertently went on run club night, so it was packed. They could use more covered outdoor seating, but it was nice & cool inside the warehouse. This is the "old location", so I'm anxious to visit the new one on Tryon. Great beers and nice folks. I really enjoyed the saison, jam session and the regular IPA. A tasting of four was $7, I think, which isn't bad.

Yelp
Conveniently located rather close to the train station where we dropped off my brother, we stopped into NoDa last week for a flight. We tried the Getting Caught in the Grain, Sweet Tater Fluff, Muffin Top, and Breast Intentions. While they were all good, the Muffin Top and ...Grain were the standouts for me. This is a great brewery with a comfortable atmosphere. I loved greeting the dogs outside and need to go back to try more of their samplings!
