On Saturday, December 20th, at approximately 12:45pm, my friend and I visited Noe's Cafe for our first brunch experience. My friend ordered chicken and waffles, while I chose a breakfast crepe and a side of bacon; both orders were placed at the same time and on the same ticket, and we enjoyed the pleasant outdoor seating. My friend's meal arrived first, beautifully presented with a generous waffle, fried chicken strips, and crispy bacon. However, as we waited for my order, time dragged on, and I encouraged her to start eating to avoid her food getting cold. Finally, nearly ten minutes later, my breakfast crepe arrived, but it was lackluster and falling apart, with nothing holding the ingredients together. It was disappointing, and I barely touched it despite spending $40 on the meal. Also, it became clear that the bacon on my friend's plate was the side order that was intended for me. After she had already taken bites, I informed the waiter, a young Hispanic-looking male, and asked for my bacon. To my dismay, he reacted with visible disgust, arguing that I had already received it. His attitude suggested that he expected me to eat from another person’s plate, which was baffling. When he said he would need to consult the manager over a simple mistake, it felt super excessive. After waiting for at least another thirty minutes without resolution, I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. Ultimately, my experience at Noe's Cafe was marred by poor service, a lackluster meal, and a pronounced absence of professionalism. This disappointing visit has convinced me I won't be returning.
