The 7 Best Chicken Caesar Wraps In Chicago

"The CCW at Nohea in the West Loop will be presented to you in what is essentially a gift bag. And once you get through the paper, the CCW will unwrap itself. It’s super stuffed and looks perfect for the brief moment it stays intact: There’s lettuce surrounding croutons, surrounding chicken...surrounding shredded cheese in the middle. But since the cold tortilla is not wrapped tightly, it unfurls and you’re left with a better-than-average caesar salad with a side of tortilla. It’s still a good option, but we’d recommend not eating it one-handed while filming that day’s “spontaneous” TikTok musing. " - veda kilaru

Nohea Cafe Review - West Loop - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Nohea Cafe is a small corner shop that’s perfect for coffee or a light bite if you’re in the West Loop. There’s a surprisingly long menu of sandwiches, plus salads and wraps (including a pretty good Caesar wrap). Nohea is only open from 8am until 2pm during the week, but it’s a solid option if you need a quick breakfast or lunch, or want to spend an hour or two getting some reading done on their very quiet little side patio." - Veda Kilaru

Stopped by Nohea Cafe in the West Loop for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Dropped about $15 on their Chicken Caesar Wrap and a coffee. The wrap was packed with flavorful chicken, crisp lettuce, and just the right amount of dressing. The homemade croutons added a nice crunch. The cafe has a cozy, laid-back vibe, perfect for a chill meal. The staff was friendly and got my order out quickly. Definitely a solid spot for a tasty, no-fuss lunch in the neighborhood.

Google
I had heard great things about Nohea’s chicken caesar wrap, but it ended up being just okay. It was a bit heavy on the Caesar dressing, which overpowered the other flavors. That said, I’d still be open to going back and trying something else on the menu.

Google
I am definitely recommending. The wrap was so fresh, crisp, and tasty. I have never had a Cesar wrap with croutons in it which took it over the top.

Google
I had their chicken cesar wrap and blueberry muffin. Both were very good. The wrap had the croutons crumbled up in the middle giving it a nice crunchy center. The muffin was very light in texture and delicious overall

Had the Espresso Macchiato the infamous Caesar Wrap and Truffle Bliss. This place left me speechless, suprised this little unassuming Cafe is putting out expertly crafted wraps and sandwiches. The quality is there, the size is there and most importantly the value is there. Let's get to it.... Espresso Macchiato: The Espresso was sooo smooth, not bitter like so many other coffee joints. The foam was "perfecto" my ancestors would be so proud. The employees give barsita a new meaning. A must have. Caesar Wrap: First impression, "OH YEAH" and as soon as I looked in the middle, I dove in. First few bites were a blur as I was trying to process all this gloriousness. Tons of fresh chicken, plenty of dressing, parmesean, perfect ratio of lettuce and house made croutons! The wrap holds up, 100%, there was lettuce chicken and dressing all the way to the last bite. I'M SAYING IT, the bar has been set here people. Ya know when you bite something and it's sooo damn good that you can only shake your head? Umm yeah, gonna be thinking about this one for awhile. Was full after a half of the wrap, but had to bite the Truffle Bliss! (Yes, I'm sitting in my car on Madison, lol) Truffle Bliss panini: Shhh, this one's not online, only a little sign in store. First impression...WTF?! What is this beautiful sandwich I'm holding? I didn't know panini's were this big, yay!! Thick cut Mortadella piled high, sweet pickles, arugula, truffle cream, cheese. My minds spinning, absolutely delicious. They have a big menu AND breakfast too, what am I gonna order next?!!

Google
Nohea Cafe is a West Loop gem. I grabbed the Italian Stallion sandwich, a hearty cup of tomato basil soup, and a flaky croissant, seriously fresh stuff. Chatted with the mother‑daughter staff who run the place, it just feels like home. Portion sizes are generous, ingredients legit, and that no‑frills, cozy corner‑cafe vibe hits just right.

Google
South of the border wrap and Chicken Caesar Wrap was amazing, and I’m not a wrap guy, I’m a burger person. But after seeing it on tik tok as being the best Caesar Wrap in the city, had to try it and it did not disappoint

Google
Amazing food and service!! Loved my chicken Caesar wrap. It was huge so will cover two meals! It is slightly claustrophobic to sit and dine in but that’s my only critique. 100% will be back again

Yelp
Nohea Cafe is great!!! I had it catered for a lunch at work and ordered the basil pasta salad and wrap trays! The food was delivered 30 minutes early and they also forgot to bring the pasta salad. I was refunded the $30 delivery fee and they brought back the pasta salad in a timely manner so they made up for it! The wrap trays had a variety of wraps on it and all of them looked delicious. I had the roasted veggie & thought it was great. The pasta salad was super creamy and was HUGE! We ordered the large size and even with a lunch with 40 people, we had some leftovers. I would definitely order from here again, there were lots of things I wanted to try!

Yelp
Cute space, I ordered in person and it was ready in 30 seconds. Friendly staff! I went it to try the viral chicken caesar wrap. The wrap is huge! And the lettuce, chicken, and sauce ratio was great. The only thing was I wasn't getting a Caesar taste, I was getting a mayo taste. I like mayo so it was fine, but I do think if it was a really good Caesar dressing this would be amazing!

Yelp
As a big fan of chicken Caesar wraps, I had to try the one from Nohea Cafe that's been going viral and it did not disappoint! I ordered it for lunch while working from home since they close at 2 PM, and it arrived in about 30 minutes. I also grabbed the pasta salad for just $4, and it was the perfect side to round out the meal. The wrap itself was amazing. It was huge, perfectly balanced, not too dry, and packed with just the right amount of Parmesan, chicken, lettuce, and dressing. Every bite was delicious, and at just $13, you really can't beat the value for a high-quality chicken Caesar wrap. If you're a Caesar wrap lover, this one absolutely lives up to the hype. Easily one of the best I've had in the city so far!

Yelp
Chicken Caesar wrap for pickup. It was good, but definitely not the best in Chicago. I would say you could probably skip this if you are doing a tour of Chicken Caesar wraps. If you like your wrap with more dressing, definitely don't forget to ask for some on the side. Employees are always nice and the food is always fresh and high quality. Can't speak to the inside of the joint other than the pickup but it is clean and welcoming for people to come enjoy a coffee and lunch and perhaps even get some work done.

Yelp
The free smells at Jimmy John's don't have ish on the free smells at Nohea! The décor is nice but the smells is what comes to mind when thinking of ambience. The service is straight forward and served with kindness. I recommend ordering ahead for those that are time conscious. As for the food, it lived up to the hype and exceeded expectations. I got the Chicken Cesar wrap and my wife got a south of the border wrap. The chicken cesar was fresh and light; yet, filling. The crunchy texture of the croutons contrasted the soft juiciness of the chicken and fresh crisp of the lettuce. I didn't get pictures of the south of the border wrap but it was equally delicious. I highly recommend treating yourself to the Nohea Cafe sometime soon.

Yelp
I went here on a rainy Tuesday for the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap. Everyone talks about this place as having the best CCSW. As a long time lover of salad sammies I had to try. Overall very thick, stuffed with chicken, shredded parm cheese, and lettuce I was overly impressed. This place may actually have the best CCSW in the city of Chicago. The dressing was blended well into the lettuce and the chicken, the parm was protected on its own layer. If you have the time, go! I also got a coffee, had a hazelnut flavor seemingly and it was good. The hours are difficult it's truly a lunch place as it closes at 2pm. The staff were polite, the wrap came out within 5 minutes. You can sit inside, it's small and it's all high top tables, but it's not stuffy. Kid friendly

Yelp
I tried the Ceaser wrap once and was HOOKED. I've been back various times now and it's my fav quick lunch in the neighborhoods. The wrap comes with fried chicken, lettuce, parm and ceaser dressing. What makes it extra special is they get home made croutons and crush them up and put them in the wrap. I'm not only are they tasty, they add such a nice crunch. Staff is always super nice. They crank these out fast! Never waited more than a few mins. You can order ahead on their website or just walk in. The potato salad is also really tasty! I've had it as a side, and goes well with the wrap.

Yelp
Such a great spot! The chicken Caesar wrap is so wonderful and tasty! Also a great portion. Very fresh. The staff is very helpful. This is more of a grab and go than a sit and stay. However if you'd like to stay they have seating available. Very cozy and quaint. Also have great soup options!

Isabella F.

Yelp
Take my word and order the chicken cesar wrap. Every bite has the perfect amount of dressing, chicken, and croutons. Also got an iced vanilla latte here for the heck of it and I was pleasantly surprised! This is definitely a new favorite spot.

Yelp
This chicken wrap is amazing 10/10 Super cute café very clean and very nice people I will definitely be back

Yelp
This Chicken Caesar wrap lived up to the hype! Good pricing and very filling. Loved how they give extra dressing on the side, it was so good! The service here is great too! Everyone I talked to was so nice

Yelp
You already know why I ordered from here. The chicken Caesar wrap!!!! Fireeeeeee, so so good. I did a doordash order so wasn't able to go in and see the space or get a feel of the service. But from what I tasted, it honestly doesn't matter. I'm still thinking about that wrap. Highly recommend for real!!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything is perfect besides them not being open on the weekends. You can't have the best chicken Caesar wrap in Chicago and have funky hours plus not be open on the weekends. It's criminal. Please reconsider!!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Sweet cafe in the neighborhood! There are many, great options for sandwiches. There are also some great options for drinks, including coffee and juices. There is a good amount of seating inside and it's a very cute cafe. The staff is wonderful and quick with service! I enjoyed my California turkey sandwich and the turkey portion was very generous!

Yelp
Delicious food, delightful staff, wifi, cute little spot To work quietly or have a nice meal. Yum!

Yelp
As I was heading to Mary Bartleme Park, I spotted this coffee shop and cafe. It was getting to be around lunch time, and this was good timing because they have a pretty nice sandwich menu. Nohea Cafe is a small place that's only open at breakfast and lunch, and closed weekends. By that information, it's obviously geared toward downtown employees. The cafe though is good for anyone who happens to be here. Being kind of hungover and not fully awake, I certainly needed a boost. I came in and got a coffee. They have a pretty basic coffee menu. It's $2.75 for a cup. More impressive are the salads and sandwiches. Good amount of these and they start to serve these pretty early. The one I got was the Mediterranean Veggie. It's about $10 for a pretty big sandwich. This came with cucumbers, feta, which I left off, greens, hummus, olives, tomatoes, and vegetables. It was vegan by leaving off feta. This has a good amount of toppings and was a good price for the big portion. Gets busy. It's a small place so it gets crowded easily. They have basic breakfast stuff but at lunch there's Mediterranean salads and sandwiches.

Yelp
Found this place on tiktok and went to try their chicken cesar wrap. It was definitely worth the hype! A quick lunch and the restaurant was very cute, you could sit either inside or out in the patio and enjoy your wrap. The staff was very friendly and left a table outside for us to finish eating even though they were closing soon.

Yelp
Food was ready on time, wrapped well, with my extra dressing, napkins in cute bag. However, a little light on chicken for $13. Was it the best CC wrap ever had, no, but tasty. I picked up off their site, had service charge where noticed Grubhub/Yelp does not.

Yelp
Ordered from here a few times through work and I love the Easy Briezzzy panini & sometimes I add turkey! The Chicken Caprese is also good too. I need to try the Chicken Caesar wrap still

Morgan M.

Yelp
I love their wraps and smoothies. I do wish they brought back the buffalo chicken wrap though, but great place overall!

Yelp
Wow, this was an unexpected treat for a small cafe on the corner. The food was so delicious that I returned to work to write this review. I was craving a panini, and this small cafe popped up in my searches, so I grabbed my friend, and off we went. For a small restaurant, they pack big flavors in their bites. I ordered the Easy Briezzzy, and my friend called the Tommy Cubana. We also ordered two gingerbread lattes. Now, where to start. My Easy Briezzzy was all comfort flavors wrapped into one panini (which packed a lot of punch for happy taste buds). I did steal a bite from my friend's sandwich. It was still steaming when he got it, and that bite was great. I am not a fan of mustard in any capacity, but I did not even taste it. The gingerbread lattes were superb, for the fact that they were not overly sweet. The cafe was not super busy, but we arrived at the tail end of the lunch hour, and the cafe closed at 2pm. When we arrived, most of the customers in the establishment were grabbing their take-out orders. We will revisit this cafe again to try more delicious menu items.

Emily S.

Yelp
Multiple hairs found in my order, and was requested to "come back" to show staff before I got a refund. Luckily they accepted my pictures instead. Staff was defensive and unapologetic when I called.

Kabir K.

Yelp
Great place ... a little over priced but what isn't these days... good food and great people
google avatar

Mitch M.

Yelp
My fiancés company catered this place for lunch one day and told me it was very good. It's been about 2 months since then and I think I've ordered from here 5 times. Probably the best chicken cesear wrap I've had in Chicago. Their southwest wrap, the smokehouse turkey, and their chicken salad are all excellent options as well. Perfect sandwich shop in the city.
google avatar

Jim C.

Yelp
The food here is incredible. They take care into preparing your food. I love their wraps. They also have one of the best Tuna salads in Chicago. The portions are a little small for the price, and I have friends complain about that too. The flavor is there though.
google avatar

Kristine H.

Yelp
The staff is really nice and they are quick which is why I gave 2 stars. I tried this place twice for coffee and sandwiches and didn't enjoy. I didn't like the taste of the coffee and the sandwiches were mostly bread. Didn't seem like fresh bread at that. There are many other places close by that I feel are better.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little cafe in West Loop that I like to check out from time to time when I dont feel like putting any hearty breakfast together during the week. I've had the Breakfast Croissant sandwich with cheese, eggs and ham as well as the breakfast burrito and both are very delicious. They close at 2pm so you can get in there and grab something for lunch such as a salad or sandwich. The Reuben panini and Rueben sandwich were both very good. The staff seems very nice...I had a brief interaction with what seemed to be the owner or manager and she was cool. I wish they were open on Saturdays or Sundays but I totally understand that everyone needs days off.

Christina M.

Yelp
Didn't send the extra dressing but the food was delicious! I'll continue to order from there.
google avatar

Jason X.

Yelp
Shame on me for not reading the other reviews but they're right - solid paninis but this place gets busy during lunch so you should order ahead to avoid the lines. A simple sandwich needs to be really tasty to justify the 15 minutes I spent waiting
google avatar

Nick K.

Yelp
I do love this spot. However, they close so often, including weekends, today (Monday), that it becomes so unreliable. I can't count the amount of times I've come and they are closed - too bad.
google avatar

Meagan D.

Yelp
Ordered "The Ricky" for lunch today. It's tasty but a little dry without a condiment. I asked for mayo that was an additional charge (slightly annoying when the sandwich is already $11.50 with no side). I just hoped the avocado Aïoli would be fine but it's not really an aioli just mashed avocado. Glad the bacon was cooked!

Erin F.

Yelp
I just tried stopping by to order a sandwich to go, and was surprised to find the door locked. One of the employees opened the door and informed me that even though they are open until 2:00pm, they stop taking orders at 1:52pm (note that she picked this arbitrary time after quickly looking at the time on her phone). I looked at my phone and it was 1:53pm - I apologized for arriving towards the end of their business hours and asked if they'd be willing to accommodate my order. She very rudely said "no, sorry" and then shut the door in my face. I just purchased a new condo down the street from here and thought it would be a nice neighborhood place where I could grab a sandwich. Now I'll never know, because I will NEVER go back there after today.

Yelp
This cafe doesn't disappoint. I'm slowly trying everything on the menu. Hearty portions and it's always fresh.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
I work right around the corner from Nohea and have ordered from here a handful of times. It's a small little cafe right on Madison and I do mean small. It can get extremely crowded and hectic during lunch so there may be a ton of people waiting in a small, crowded space. I tend to order online and pick up to avoid this mess. The food is good but portions are a bit small. Overpriced in my opinion but it's a nice spot to pick up food for a quick lunch. Not my go-to for lunch but I will return nonetheless. Staff is very friendly and welcoming!
google avatar

Kate W.

Yelp
This breakfast sandwich is perfection! I had the croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon. The egg was fluffy, the croissant has the outside crisp with buttery layers, it was a wonderful treat. No real sides but the sandwich was enough. Only open during the week but if you find them open run don't walk!
google avatar

Yelp
I just ordered 2 sandwiches. A grilled cheese and the sriracha chicken sandwich. The grilled cheese was good and served with marinara sauce which I've never had together before. I was missing the usual pickle that I get with grilled cheese, but the sauce was a nice touch. The creaminess of the soft cheese was appreciated. Now, the other sandwich. ..the ONLY reason I ordered it was for the sriracha mayo. I asked if that was the only thing spicy on it and the girl said also the peppers. ..which there weren't any. I asked for the sriracha mayo on the side so I can determine how spicy I want it. THEY GAVE ME PLAIN MAYO! I am from the suburbs and am rarely out in the city, I am cat sitting down the street and up 61 stairs. I was not about to walk all the way back over there, but man am I disappointed. I had to grab hot sauce from my friends fridge. I'm sure it's not the same. I should have ordered something else, cause I wanted something that I can't get near me. Ended up being a plain chicken sandwich anyways.

Yelp
Found this place while I was staying at a friend's place close by, and totally loved it! The cafe is super quaint and the decor is adorable. They have some great antiques and tables to get work done. The staff were super friendly as well. For breakfast, I got the breakfast panini (eggs, sausage, and cheese) and the portions were huge. Could definitely split it with someone if you're not super hungry. It was very savory and a great start to my day. The cappuccino was quite delicious as well. If I lived near here, I would totally come here all the time!
google avatar

Yelp
Imagine tender chunks of chicken sprinkled with red onions & cilantro that is then coated with smoked gouda cheese and a light & tasty barbeque sauce. Shelter it in a grilled flour tortilla, split it in halves and you've just described the BBQ Chicken Melt at Nohea Cafe. I ordered it in a neat box lunch format which included chips and a chocolate chip cookie. This was lunch 2 days ago and to say it was delicious and satisfying is an understatement. I have a feeling this will be one of my favorite places for lunch. Update: a coffee crave yesterday. I ordered something called the Black n' White Mocha. Let's just say I'm glad I chose the large size. It's so good, and was handed to me with warmth and a smile I could see despite our mask wearing.

Malika G.

Yelp
Check this place! Best sandwiches tasty, fresh and delicious. The place is so nice and clean, good customer service. Just love it. If you love sandwiches like I do, you should definitely try it I always ask for extra dressing)

Yelp
*POW* I have fallen in love...and his name is Twisted Ham!! Who knew pretzel rolls could be so good? I sure didn't. The Twisted Ham sandwich was simply amazing (well worth the $8). ~Mixed Greens, Avocado, Tomato, Swiss & Dijon Mustard on a Pretzel Roll~ I don't remember the last time I was so impressed by a sandwich. The meat was so FRESH, the buns so soft and the avocado tied it all nicely together. They offer a good variety of beverages besides the normal soda selection. I went with the grape juice pouch. It says on the back: "He who throws mud only loses ground - Fat Albert" How profound! If I hadn't been so full, I would have ordered a slice of the lemon pie I sampled. The people working there were nice and friendly. The cafe is super clean and has free Wi-Fi. Instructions: -Walk on in and order at the counter. -Turn around and pick out your choice of beverage from the fridge. -Pay for your food. -Pick a seat and wait for your order to be delivered. -Enjoy! Yelp
I met one of my longest-held friends here for breakfast this morning, walking from the Gold Coast and back to enjoy summer while it lasts. The coffee and breakfast panini were delicious and the lady behind the counter could not have been nicer or more professional, coming out to serve us our sandwiches. I look forward to coming back here and highly recommend this spot. #SUPPORTLOCALBUSINESS

Yelp
I work down the block from Nohea. It's DELICIOUS... I wish they were open longer because I want them to be open while I work nights. They would make a killing if they stayed open late at night because there is nothing good to eat around there late at night. I miss them! Food is delicious and the service is the best! Thanks girls!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to order lunch from in West Loop. They have a great selection of sandwiches and salads and their ingredients are always fresh. Their bri sandwich with turkey added is top notch.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting Noah. Nice corner spot for coffee and lunch. Today I ordered "The Stan" which is a turkey and cheese sandwich with avocado and baby greens lettuce on a pretzel bun. With a Pasta salad as a side with a small coffee.Total price was $13.25 "The Stan" was very delicious club sandwich to sum it up. Simple but flavorful and portioned well. My pasta salad was interesting as well. The pasta salad featured black beans, corn and tomatoes. I was happy with my order and will be visiting again.

Yelp
Came here for lunch when I was supposed to be going back to work..oops.. Nohea is a cute little sandwich shop, although the creepy dolls up front threw me off. I ordered the Mike and Mike and grabbed a bag of chips, which they had a decent selection of. I got a cup of water for free, which was in a cute dispenser-mason jar-type thing, and had lemons in it to make it even better! My sandwich was overall pretty good. The bacon was a little crispy for my liking, but the panini was cooked just right and had a lot of meat on it. The sandwich on its own was definitely enough to fill me up. They also had a wide selection of gluten free snacks and gluten free bread as well, which worked out well for my friend with an allergy to it. Overall this is a cute little cafe that could easily be passed over, but is worth popping your head in for a visit!

Yelp
This little gem is absolutely adorable. From the main lobby/dining area right down to the bathroom. There are so many artistic pieces and sculptures on display that make this Cafe unique and a stand alone. It feels very quaint and the ambiance is inviting. The turkey club sandwich was delish...can't wait to return!

Yelp
I work right next door so this is my go to place for coffee and sandwiches, pastries. Anything I need to grab quickly for lunch as I only have an hour. Their sandwiches are delicious, they use board head meat and fresh veggies. Portion size is nice and the staff is very friendly! The buffalo chicken wrap and the turkey sandwich with avocado is my fav. I have tried everything from their paninis to salads to soup, they do not disappoint! I believe they are a bit overpriced that would be my only concern. Their food is great but i am always a little discouraged when I go to pay. Not to the point where I don't return tho! I wish their were more gourmet sandwich shops around the area. I think they would do really well and Nohea seems to also as it is usually always busy. They do catering as well which I'm sure is fabulous! You can also buy their deli meat to take home which is great as many places don't carry boars Head.

Yelp
Upon my arrival to Nohea Cafe I was greeted by the friendly staff and a delectable aroma. I took some time reading the menu available since it was my first time there. I decided on getting the Chorizo breakfast bowl but without meat because I'm mostly plant based/vegetarian. I asked the staff member if they could hold the meat and just give me extra of everything else such as the beans, chips, avocado and salsa. My order did not take more than ten minutes to make. As I waited I admired the decor. I don't usually do this but I was able to peek through and see the kitchen staff making my meal. I noticed one of the chefs grabbing a block of cheese and I asked the staff member who took my order if there was supposed to be cheese on my order she said yes, I asked her to hold the cheese since I'm mostly plant based and can not consume cheese. I looked back at the menu and told the staff member that cheese wasn't listed to be on my the chorizo bowl otherwise I would have asked no cheese from the start. I didn't notice until I left the establishment that there was no salsa on my meal and that didn't help since it already lacked flavor. The avocado and egg were good but the beans seemed to of just come straight out of the can and I had a little less than a handful of chips. I also checked in to the establishment on Yelp and with this I was able to redeem a chai tea latte with almond milk and it was delicious. I would definitely try this establishment again.
