The quality and consistency are just outstanding. Their miso soup is comforting and flavorful, and the homemade kimchi deserves a special mention — it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste that it’s freshly made. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who appreciates great sushi flavors!

Wow I think this is the best self serve sushi in Seattle. Yes it’s more expensive than FOB but it tasted fresh, flavor combinations were unique and flavorful! I highly recommend and would come back! Everything I ate was great! Nothing was bad! Love the indoor seating they have next to Artly coffee.

I really enjoyed my visit to Nohm! They have a unique concept where you can pick your sushi by weight. Everything is already prepared and beautifully arranged, so you can choose exactly what you want, and then they weigh your plate. It’s a great option if you like trying different types of sushi without having to order full rolls. The quality of the fish is fresh, the flavors are delicious, and the prices are very affordable since you pay only for what you take. It’s perfect for sushi lovers who want variety and flexibility. Nohm is a fantastic sushi spot that focuses on what's most important: incredibly fresh, high-quality fish. We selected a variety of nigiri and every single piece was exceptional. The fish was buttery, perfectly cut, and tasted wonderfully fresh. You can see the quality in the color and texture of the tuna and salmon. The seared salmon nigiri had a beautiful char and a fantastic savory sauce that complemented it perfectly. The rice was also perfectly seasoned and at the right temperature—a detail that true sushi lovers will appreciate. The restaurant has a clean, modern, and calm atmosphere, which makes it a great escape for a high-quality lunch. It's also in a unique spot, sharing a lobby with the Artly robot barista, which adds a cool, futuristic touch to the experience. Highly recommend!

Sushi by the pound options are really great here. I really enjoyed the bowls as well but they are more suited for someone highly paid at places like Amazon. Would definitely get the sushi again!

Had a tasty sushi lunch with a side of miso soup. Fun to choose from all the variety and very nice place to sit and eat after.

Can’t say much for atmosphere as I went right around closing. Felt a little pricey for the amount, but I don’t often get sushi in the area so who knows. Ultimately really enjoyed the food! Would definitely go back

The service was amazing! I entered 30 minutes before closing, and they still served me. I was the only one there, so they were closing up. The lady helping me was one of the most friendly ladies I've ever met. The location was a little conspicuous - it's an eatery inside like a larger hotel-looking building with dark windows so you can't really tell it's a restaurant inside. The menu needs to be scanned to see in detail. I tried the California roll with real crab meat ($13) and the salmon inferno roll ($17) The California roll did have real crab meat, but it was a little hard to notice. There was only a little crab meat, and the flavor is already mild. It's had a little mayo and was not bad with soy sauce and wasabi. It was pretty filling, so it was okay for its price. The salmon roll had wayyyyy too much eel sauce - I couldn't taste the salmon because of how overwhelming the eel sauce was. There was also way too much crunch. I couldn't tell if it was carrot or cucumber, but it was way too crunchy. It had salmon skin, but salmon skin has an easy-to-breakdown crunch whereas the veggie had a durable crunch I didn't like. I think they might have had something else I might like and I maybe just ordered the wrong things. The price for portion was fair. I don't see this place as a 4.8 star restaurant, unfortunately. I really wanted to like it because of how friendly the lady was. Maybe you might have more luck?

It is a great deal for tasty sushi that is very reasonably priced at $19/lb. The rolls with crunch were nice. The fatty tuna was a good deal and tasty. Love the selection and freshness. Nice office building lobby to eat in. Next to a robot coffee place.

2.3/5 Decided to give Nohm a try since I was in the area trying to kill time. I came in about 45 minutes before they closed. Similar to FOB they do sushi by the pound. Service - non existent lol. Wasn't greeted when I walked in. Was told that because I had 2 pieces of unagi that the 2nd piece would be $5 (makes zero sense) but then said since they were closing she'd let me go. Then gave attitude while ringing me up. Just wasn't pleasent. On top of that it's about $4 more per pound then my typical spot. Atmosphere - walk into a sushi buffet line with the register at the end, not much to say about it. Food - Was not fresh. Now anyone who's been to a sushi by the pound spot knows that the sushi is layed out buffet style. When dealing with seafood I figure they would discard anything that's been sitting too long. Not the case. All the sushi with avacado was brown like it had sat out for hours. I tried one just to be sure I wasn't judging a book by its cover. Bad. All the nigiri was room temp and besides the unagi, had a bad texture to it. The rolls were still ok and I did enjoy them, but it's obvious everything had been sitting awhile. Normally I wouldn't judge because I did come in during the final hour but it's sushi, it shouldn't be served if it's way passed it's freshness. I see other people give it great reviews, and I'm sure everything would have been much better if it was fresh, but it wasn't.

Better than FOB? Went here the day after seeing a review on TikTok from an influencer and it was very different. It was advertised 3-5pm happy hour as 20% off. When I got there, only 10% off. The selection was incredibly sparse. I wish I took a picture. However, every piece I had was good. Some were extra good, in particular, the tuna ones. Service was pretty bare bones, no problems. Atmosphere was relaxed and appeared clean. Had a tough time with parking. The streets along there have no parking 3-6, making happy hour hard to get to. :( I'll say, though it's more pricey than FOB, I think their quality and selection outweighs the options at FOB.

3.5 stars. It's ok. This is basically just conveyor belt sushi, without the conveyor belt. Or buffet sushi, but paid per pound. Limited menu, fully self serve. Fish is ok quality; not offensive, but not that great either. They are able to mask this somewhat by mostly selling extremely dressed up rolls. It's Amazontown prices for strip mall sushi quality. Overall it's an ok deal for lunch if you're only slightly hungry, but if you're a normal amount hungry or more, you'll be paying $30-40.

I wanted to try Nohm after hearing about its to-go sushi experience. Unfortunately, their sushi to-go is only offered in the afternoon on weekdays. It's really hard to find that information; I think it's listed on one sign outside the restaurant. I ended up getting a bowl which was just fine. The salmon quality was okay but I wasn't a huge fan of the toppings; it felt weird to me that there were tomatoes in the bowl. The ingredients of the bowl also aren't listed anywhere on the menu! The service was great and fast but I don't think I'd come back.

Came here an hour before closing on a Friday hoping they'd have their "by the pound" selection. They didn't and that was my fault for not checking. They only serve that until 3 pm That's fine. I decided to still order something since I'd walked over already. I ended up ordering a chirashi since that's usually a good metric to determine freshness and value at a sushi spot. Got this disappointment for $35!!!! (With a 15% tip). Decent variety but fish was a little too warm and some slices were definitely fishy. Quantity is lacking. You're better off headed to Minato to get a good chirashi. Rice was probably the star of the show. Employees were nice but this place is mediocre at best. Honestly just skip out on this place and go to a sit-down sushi spot to get more bang for your buck

New option for sushi in SLU! Nohm offers sushi by-the-pound, similar to the well known FOB Sushi Bar in Belltown. So my review will primarily compare this place to FOB. At initial impression, there were less options for nigiri than FOB. This was fine for me since I mainly like to eat the special rolls, but my boyfriend was disappointed that there wasn't any scallop or squid, etc. My main complaint is that the sushi didn't feel as fresh as FOB, as if the sushi was sitting out for some time without being rotated out. The rice was dry and not sticky. You are limited to only one chutoro nigiri piece (each additional piece costs extra). The restaurant shares a dining area with Artly, so you can enjoy a coffee, matcha, or boba made by a robot to complement your meal. :) This spot is closer to where I live and definitely satisfies the sushi craving. But I would probably opt for FOB next time.

Stopped by with a friend for a quick lunch. I like the ambience inside--it's a quiet, shared space with 2 or so other restaurants (including a robo-coffee shop). The attendant was nice and service was quick. The sushi itself was definitely all right, but it did remind me of grocery store or gas station sushi--the rice was a bit dry (perhaps as a result of being left out on their buffet trays), so it wasn't quite to my liking. I wouldn't be interested in going back in the future, as I think this characteristic is a bit internet in the "sushi buffet" business model

FRESH sushi and beautifully crafted! I went around 1pm this afternoon and no line! They have tables and the robot coffee shop, Artly right next to it. It's sushi by the pound so it's $18.99 per lb. I ended up pay $15 for the 0.8 oz it was haha. Definitely a good spot!

I went here on a Monday afternoon (around 1 pm). There was no other customers when I went, but you can tell from the sushi bar that there were definitely people who came to the place during lunchtime. This is a new sushi by the pound place ($18.99 per pound) that also serves kaisendon and other menu items. I only had the sushi bar so I can't judge the latter. I felt like there was a good variety and the pieces I had were really good. The chi toro nigiri pieces were yummy and I was glad they had them.

$18.99 premium sushi by the pound -Bara-chirashi Don $28 -Kaisen Don $45 -Salmon Poke Bowl $23 -Tuna Don $23 Nohm just had their grand opening on the 2nd of January and are located in downtown Seattle. They have premium sushi by the pound and a number of specialty bowls! Open from 11am-5pm for sushi by the pound but open till 7pm for menu items! They rotate their rolls/nigiri selection daily. Today, they had chu toro nigiri which is a steal for only $18.99 a pound!! We had the chance to try multiple specialty bowls my favorite was the salmon poke bowl! (I loveee salmon ) After, you can get a cup of coffee made by a robot from Artly right next door!

This is another sushi by the pound spot (that also serves other things too) similar to FOB Sushi in Belltown. This one is much pricier but the quality is slightly better. They have its quirks like you can only get 1 nigiri otherwise you will have to pay $5 per piece extra, like that's a bit ridiculous. Even the more upscale sushi spots won't charge such a hefty amount, and the nigiri is good but not that outstanding. The sushi here is fairly fresh and the rolls have a good amount of meat and not too heavy on the rice. The aesthetics of the rolls are pretty good too. I also enjoyed the seating area here since it is clean and also has Artly, a coffee shop, in the same building, so you can hit multiple cravings at once. I have to deduct a few stars for quite significant nickel and diming which is a dealbreaker. They weigh the sushi - 0.95 lbs INCLUDING the container (the other place zeroes out after the container is placed on the scale - the container itself is like 0.05-0.1 lbs from what I noticed from the other place. On top of that, they added the lid for 0.03lbs extra before they bothered ringing me up and I had to pay that additional weight of nothing. That comes to up to $3 more than I would want to pay, since if you're charging $18.99 per pound before tax already, why would you squeeze in extra few bucks when I can go to the other place for a sizable discount? If they advertise sushi by the pound, I shouldn't be responsible for paying for the container too. This is the only place I am aware (out of a few I've been) that the customer pays the empty weight of the container, which is a decent chunk of the cost. While I liked the sushi here a little more, it's hard for me to come back due to this practice. It's quite a bummer since this place is much closer to where I am than the other spot, but I guess I will make the journey there until they make things right.

Nohm does one thing well: convenience. If you are in a rush and want ok sushi, this is a good place. In terms of quality and taste, Nohm is comparable to your average AYCE place. Which is actually good considering the sushi is sitting out buffet style. Expect the most standard options: lots of salmon and spicy tuna. The most interesting thing I got was a squid nigiri. It costs $20/lb and 1 lb was roughly 10 pieces for me.

This was a cool serve-yourself sushi bar. The area is very clean and neat. Sushi quality was really good and we're from Hawaii, so we eat good fish. They're always making fresh rolls and nigiri right behind the main counter. The staff are very friendly!

This is in the same lobby area as the artly robots so I'm excited to try it now that it's open! I loved that they had multiple inari filling options first of all. My sushi was good and the wasabi tasted very fresh and was quite strong. It was well packaged too which was nice for our short commute home to eat. They stop doing the sushi buffet by the pound at 5pm so if that's what you're aiming for, make sure to come early. I'll definitely be back to try that as I enjoyed my rolls! The servers were very sweet and friendly and it's got plenty of little tables where you can sit by the window if you'd like to dine in.

Came here for lunch and overall it was just alright. A lot of the sushi has too much sauce or other things inside the roll. For example, one of the pieces I could only taste sour cream and nothing else. Overall felt like things tasted relatively similar without anything that stood out. It wasn't busy at all when I went and I was in and out pretty quickly.

The sushi quality is very good. The rice is fresh and has the right texture, which is hard to nail for mass produced sushi. The fish is fresh and the flavors overall are suitable for a work lunch if you're in the offices nearby (nothing super oniony or garlicky). I enjoyed the shared space with Artly and the coffee robots.

Great quick takeout sushi joint! Similar to FOB but without the controversy - sushi is good, the nigiri's are my favorite! The sushi isn't going to blow your mind, but it's just about as good as you can get for the price point! It's in a little food court type space with the robot coffee and some other joints.

Mediocre sushi, limited options and a bit pricey for what it is. Honestly I would go to the people down the street. Where the pieces of fish is much thicker and quality is better. Got a negitoro roll, very fishy. Spicy tuna has no flavor. The high light was the rice, it wasn't too sticky and had good texture. Ratio of fish: rice was so off. There are definitely better options out there.

If you've been to FOB Sushi, this place does sushi by the pound at $18.99/lb as of March 2025. The sushi was okay - the sauces and added toppings take away from the amount of fish you get. I'm a no cream cheese and no imitation crab in my sushi type of person but a lot of the options seemed to steer towards this. Rice / fish also didn't feel as fresh as I was hoping although when I went they were in the process of making and replenishing the bar. The lobby the restaurant is in is spacious though - I came with a pretty big group on a Saturday and we were able to sit together at a large table.

I love that I can just grab as much sushi as I want and put it on my tray. You pay by weight of the sushi. If you come in before they're close to closing, you'll have a variety to choose from. Otherwise they will just have a premade trays with sushi inside that is the last of their selection for the day that wasn't picked for a discount. I always picked too much but it's just easy to take home since you already have it to go tray. The lobby is usually quiet. Great place for fresh sushi to go. One of my favorite sushi spots before I hit a green tea café literally around the corner.

I love the convenience, the choices, and flavor. I usually only have about 30 minutes so this place hits the spot to get my sushi and rolls fix without having to sit down and order off of a menu. And the quality isn't sacrificed at all for that convenience. The staff was constantly moving around changing out sushi and you would be amazed at how many pieces comes out to 1 pound. I've always been under. This place will definitely be a stop multiple times!

I have been here 4 times in the last month and each visit has been amazing. The sushi is always fresh and tastes amazing. If you want sushi by the pound you will find the best selection around lunch time. They have a wide range of selection and they are always refilling sushi. If you go after 5pm it's better to order a menu item. I ordered the Kaisendon which had a ton of different fish from shrimp, scallops, octopus, tuna, albacore, and others. Workers very friendly and everything is kept clean. A must visit spot if you love sushi.

Came here for a quick lunch. No pics taken, but the sushi was good and well priced. The coffee bar was also next door, so it's a good place to grab lunch and just chill.

I knew I had to try it as soon as I found out a new sushi bar is open. We were very pleased with the quality. There was chu Toro nigiri and the sushi bowls were great. Tip - go earlier for a bigger selection at the bar. My bf liked the rice quality as well. Would definitely go again!

A great spot for sushi with fresh ingredients and attentive preparation. The fish toppings were generous and the rice had just the right seasoning. The cozy atmosphere made the meal even nicer -- highly recommended!

I was in and out with a lunch no time. The food was not authentic Japanese ( more like American rolls and some nigiri)but I was craving sushi and I was satisfied with quality and price. The service was excellent and the place as pretty clean. I would definitely do another togos and recommend to others.

I love this place! You pick out individual pieces of sushi then pay for it by weight, so I got to try everything. The sushi was great- very fresh and I enjoyed every roll. Located next to a cute little coffee shop, nice ambiance.
