Duck Breast (Medium Rare) is one of my Favorite Dishes on a menu. Paired with a Balsamic Reduction Sauce of any kind will certainly brighten up any dish. Compliments to the Chef & Cooks for a Wonderful Pleasurable Palate Culinary Treats. Together with the Hanger Steak, a Red Wine Reduction paired with Goat Cheese certainly brought the $$$ to the table. And those Scallops were by far the Softest Most Luxuriously melt in your mouth scallops i've ever had, as I am never a fan of the grits often found in Scallops. The Chef & Cooks, favorably have my 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. And, Thank You to Ms. Katee, for bringing your Warm Personality & Hospitality to our table, we can only hope to have you on another visit to Mobile.

This restaurant will exceed anyone’s expectations! The service, the atmosphere, the FOOD is incredible. There is a quiet, quaint vibe, but is also lively and fun. The servers are experts in any questions you have. We had the scallops and chicken karaage, fall salads, filets and the ginger donut for dessert. Every course of our meal was amazing. It was clear that every flavor and texture on the plate had so much thought behind it. This restaurant is a gem in Mobile so if you’re in the area or live here, make sure you go!

My husband and I visited Noja for the first time on June 3rd. The hostess (sorry I didn't catch her name) and ate waiter Zach were awesome. Zach really knew the menu and gave his honest opinion. The food was excellent! We can't wait until we vacation here again.

Google
First time here, but had multiple people give rave reviews. Very nice experience! 3 course meal. Fatboy forgot to take pics of the appetizer and salad, but all was good. We had the scallops and chicken for the apps. Both very good. The mains were the veal chops and panko halibut. We got the chocolate torte for dessert too with ice cream. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch, but bring your checkbook. Also I would def make a reservation. Come check them out!!

Do yourself a fLavor, book a reservation and don't miss this gem! Ambiance is wonderful, original building built in 1840 and there are several nods to keeping it's history including many layers of exposed brick paint in the lady's room. My server, Michah, was incredibly knowledgeable, fast and professional service, and a pleasure to converse with. The food was outstanding, my only complaint is I wish I wasn't traveling so I could've taken my left overs home! Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The hallomi cheese in the fall salad and the white truffle oil drizzle on the Noja potatoes put it over the top! Highly recommend and if I'm ever traveling through that way again I will definitely stop here for dinner.

Google
This was our 3rd or 4th visit and once again it continued to impress! Everything about this dining experience is perfection. From the moment Taylor greeted us to the decadence of the crème brûlée this was a feast for the senses! I would highly encourage everyone to go for a memorable evening! Our server Mark was wonderfully attentive and an excellent conversationalist. This was one of our best dining experience ever! We had the lamb chops and the hanger steak, both cooked to perfection. The Noja potatoes are divine, and all other sides are superb! Thank you Noja for helping make our 18th Anniversary wonderful!

Google
In Mobile for business, was recommended at a meeting. If you want to treat yourself, make it a point to go here. The three course menu thing makes it more expensive than what you will otherwise find in the area but was well worth it. Everything was excellent. Did the scallops (nice buttery), spinach salad (tasty) and the duck (the sauce kills). I cleaned my plate. Place is quite cozy in a historic district kinda way.

Google
Food was good. Service was better. The food I thought was a little over priced for the amount I received and the flavor. It was still very good so I would recommend this place but just understand that it's 5 out of 10 stars for me. The salad was minimal. The appetizers may be better than the entrees!

Yelp
Noja Restaurant - 4.2/5 Seared Scallop: Perfectly Made, Grits were creamy and paired well with the pesto and rustic tomato sauce. Caesar Salad: DELICIOUS! I love the freshly prepared dressing and the ingredients paired well. Lamb Chops Entree: Lamb was overcooked and bland, fingerling potatoes were bland, baba ghanoush was bland. Asparagus was prepared perfectly. I really wanted to love this dish. However, the lack of seasoning prevented it.The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The ambience was cozy, rustic and relaxing.

Yelp
Surprise date night to one of our favorite restaurants. We had not been to NoJa since '13, so it was neat to experience it again for the first time. The menu has changed a lot, but almost everything we ordered was great. I started with the cucumber martini with vodka, and he had an Old Fashioned with Maker's Mark. We had bread with butter until our apps arrived: Brussels sprouts salad and Karaage chicken. Both were fantastic! I had the Caesar salad and ordered it without red onion, but this was ignored. The salad tasted of red onion which was very disappointing for me. I tried picking around where they placed the onion, but it had ruined the entire salad. I should've ordered the soup of the day to avoid this, lesson learned. I had the filet with NoJa potatoes; he had the filet with fingerling potatoes. Both were sooo delicious and cooked to the medium-rare temperature requested. Brenna was our server, and while she was great it was very hard to hear her. The ambiance and noise of the restaurant coupled with a customer behind us that was loud on his own, we missed details about the menu or simply politely nodded when she stopped by/said something. Not a fault of hers per se, but it wasn't a very quiet setting for dinner. Despite the hiccups, we'll come back again-- gotta try the soup and the fish prepared by the chef!

Yelp
Food was sooo delicious, especially the Brussels Sprouts and the Noja Potatoes. Service was great - our waiter was friendly and fun and made great recommendations for everyone at the table. We had a pretty early reservation (5:30) and it was pretty quiet, but we were pleasantly surprised to see how it livened up around 6-6:30. It was loud enough for our table of 4 to have fun conversation and know that everyone around us was doing the same.

Yelp
Fine dining is a stretch, if you've traveled at all. I've had better food at the haberdasher, and fancy Royal Scam and Le Moyne's over this restaurant. Service was fantastic, our waitress was a gem. It was so loud I couldn't even converse with my husband without elevating my voice obnoxiously. Food was mid, drinks were good. Celebrated our anniversary here, and wish we would have gone elsewhere.
google avatar

Cynthia W.

Yelp
I ran into two gentleman that wanted food with flavor. They said the food in Mobile is bland. I can attest to this, unfortunately. Luckily, I walked in to NoJa with an empty stomach and practically licked my plates clean! I had the three course meal -- scallops, the spinach salad, and the hanger steak. I was preoccupied and starving that I forgot to photograph the main dish but it was exceptional; cooked perfectly to temp. I didn't have a reservation but sat at the bar and the lovely bartender was fantastic. The bread and butter was wonderful, I had two helpings. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I only wish I had another party with me so I could've tasted additional items off their menu! Enjoy!!

Yelp
We booked a reservation about thirty minutes ahead of the visit. We were going to the theater for a comedy show and it was really close by. Decor was exposed brick, small restaurant but elegant. We were seated immediately. Our waitress (Micha) came and took our drink order. I had the soup of the day which was a spinach curry soup with peanuts. It was delicious. Christina had the scallops that were also amazing. We both had salads and I ordered the line catch of the day which was a Red Fish with squash and eggplant vegetables that was as good if not better than the fish. And the fish was great! Highly recommend. It's a touch pricey but worth the money and a great date night restaurant.

Yelp
Everything was so perfectly melt-in-your-mouth fresh! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Very nice setup inside. The bread and butter combination was fantastic. The chicken karaage and the short rib arancini were the stuff of dreams. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Very romantic dinner for our anniversary! Everyone was sure to tell us happy anniversary and it was so meaningful. Our server was fantastic. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Lisa Fisher B.

Yelp
We had our first dinner at Noja celebrating our anniversary and I totally recommend it! Excellent ambiance! The staff was very pleasant and made sure you had what you wanted. We had the seared scallops, Brussel bowl, pan crusted mahi and the line catch Chef's choice which was blackened redfish. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only negative thing I can say is the brussels were a bit salty for me, but it was all heavenly!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food Excellent drinks and Excellent service. We spent our anniversary dinner their and it really topped all expectations. The ambiance was very quiet and romantic.

Yelp
What an amazing experience in an unexpected place! There have only been good things to say about Noja and my experience didn't disappoint! Every dish is bursting with flavor and unique additions that enhance the dish. The tomato sauce and grits with pesto complimented the scallops perfectly (I only wish there were more than 2!) With every course the anticipation grows to taste the next. The Noja potatoes are a must try (what an excellent combination of sweet and savory) and I loved the green beans. I felt the Brussels were a bit too salty for my palette, but you can't go wrong with the Hanger Steak or Lamb Chops! It was perfect for a date night and was an amazing experience!

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
Love this restaurant ! I wish they would give their recipes for their Brussels and the way they prepare their salmon is divine. My go to when visiting in business trips
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
The service was top notch! My first visit was after getting engaged and the staff was so kind and made sure our evening was amazing. The food was out of this world. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return for another delicious meal!
google avatar

Brandi F.

Yelp
I woke up thinking about the steak I had last night. You get a three course meal for $65. There is a $10 up charge for certain proteins. I suggest making a reservation if you want a table in this cozy spot. If not, make your way to the bar! This might be the only place I'll order my steak rare. It was so flavorful and a delight to the senses. The pork belly appetizer melted in my mouth. The sweet and salty flavor from this dish set the standard for the rest of the evening. The service is what you'd expect at this price point--perfect. Treat yourself one night and dine here!
google avatar

Asha S.

Yelp
The staff were nice and friendly. I had to push reservations back and they were quickly accommodating which was nice. Very quaint and inviting dining space and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. The food was excellent! We tried what was suggested and definitely will be back!

Andrea B.

Yelp
This is easily a five star place but here's why we decided on four. The spinach salad was dripping in sauce which was so rich and salty drowned the delicate flavors of everything else in it. The hangar steak was tender and perfectly cooked but was one dimensional, lacking in flavor and without seasoning. The goat cheese topping was great but would have been better if the steak was seasoned. On the positive side, it's an open space that's romantic and attractive without being loud because they limit the tables. The staff was fantastic as well as the cocktails, scallops, and the pork cheeks were excellent! We had a great time but for a final check before tip of $175 for two people, a few changes would have been needed to get five stars. Still absolutely worth the visit!

Yelp
Counting down the seconds for the next visit. This beautiful open kitchen restaurant is tucked in the heart of downtown Mobile boasts a well stocked bar, great guest service, nice wood decor, a good online website and elevated dishes. We started off with the "Shrimp and Scallops" and "Chicken Karage," both plated beautifully and were delicious, worth savoring. Shrimp and Scallops - We found the shrimp a bit undercooked, they say they make them MR, I'll try them MW next time, we eat sashimi and Nigiri so it's not an issue, so the texture was. The parmesan Grits paires with the port cream sauce is/was unctuous and velvety. Chicken Karage - The sesame sticky rice and chicken were good, could be a bit crisper on the rice though. The chicken was crispy, hot and seasoned just right. The sauce on the plate was so so good! Second was the Buratta Salad, I added crostinis with mine for the Buratta, the star of this salad for me were the cherry tomatoes, these were so sweet and umami filled (no sugar added). For our entrées we had the Dry Aged Sous Vide Pork Chop and the Duck Breast. Dry Aged Sous Vide Pork Chop - Lovely sear, perfect medium, seasonings balanced (flavor affinities here were garlic, ginger and the 25% sweet potato in the Noja potatoes), this owa's so very good. Duck Breast - Juicy medium, looked great and tasted the same. This is paired with a peach balsamic reduction, the reduction seems to be made with white balsamic vin due to the réductions bright orange color. There were fresh peaches in the dish, felt like a last minute addition, this part of the dish was not elevated. Our server Katie and guest relations representative Christine were very good hosts and elevated our experience with excellent guest service. Thank you both, ladies! P.S. The anniversary Dessert was surprising

Yelp
Delicious 3 course gourmet meal!!!! Absolute favorite restaurant in Mobile! Delicious!

Yelp
Had the scallops, spinach salad, hanger steak, and ginger donut w/ popcorn ice cream for dessert. Phenomenal. I can't wait to go back.

Bill H.

Yelp
Always very good, but don't forget to bring plenty of cash as the prices are on the high side. This is gourmet, dining, and well worth the price. Use it for special occasions if your budget is tight, but be sure to go and enjoy the specialties they create for you.

Yelp
Great food. Noja is recommended for anyone. Service was great and food was absolutely delicious. Hidden gem for sure !

Yelp
This place was a big surprise for my wife's birthday. Requires reservations, But we were able to order from the bar. Excellent food. So much we were able to split our meal. Fine dining to the core. Enjoyed this place.

Yelp
Went for dinner to celebrate my birthday this year. This was by far one of the best meals me and my husband have had. Such a unique, seasonal menu, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere. A perfect place for any occasion. Could eat here weekly!

Yelp
Overall: - 5/5 vibes - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Food - 5/5 Options Appetizers: - Duck Foie Gras: Good flavor, my first time trying foie gras, i must not be used to it... but to me it tasted like eating 100% duck fat with no meat. If you've ever cooked ground beef before, and taken the beef out, and there was grease and fat leftover - it tasted like it was the grease and fat. - Pork Cheeks: unnecessarily sweet, but fall off the bone tender, large portion in comparison to the other appetizer, i was content after eating this - Scallops and Shrimp: scallops were amazing, it was like eating a cloud, and the sauce wasn't too heavy Salads: - Had the House salad (forgot what it's called) - with the beets, goat cheese, nuts, and apples, very delicious and refreshing Entrees: - Hangar steak: Wasn't any ruth chris, but was pretty tasty. Tender and seasoned okay. - Lamb chops: too fatty, but the number of chops made up for it. Great flavor. I asked for medium but it was cooked medium well... so it was more tough than I would have liked. - Swordfish: A little tough and tasted like it wasn't too fresh. That was also my first time trying swordfish so maybe it's supposed to be tough? It had a distinct taste. Didn't have a "wow" factor though. Sides: - Noja potatoes - thought it would be amazing because of the truffles, but it was semi-okay sweet mashed potato - Fingerling potatoes- i actually liked these better than the noja, slightly crispy and seasoned perfectly - Chefs vegetables - 100% carrots, i would've liked some sort of variety - at least add 1 more veggie

Yelp
Excellent food. Recommend the hanger steak and the chicken appetizer. My wife had the seared scallops which she claimed was the best scallops she has ever had. Would recommend 10/10 and will be back.

Yelp
We live in New Orleans and eat at all the top restaurants, both there and around the world. We were in Mobile for one night and sat at the bar. We ordered the scallops and pan seared Queen Snapper with mushroom risotto. Both were EXCELLENT. Perfectly cooked with a great crusty sear. Sauces A+. Fresh and refined flavors (as opposed to relying on salt and butter). The design/font on the menu gives off a less than high end impression, and there are no fancy cocktail names. Don't let that fool you - at least what we ordered was superb, including the torte and ginger donut for dessert. Bartender Allison gave us great service. Vibe/atmosphere was perfect.
google avatar

Rebecca I.

Yelp
Fabulous! I love NoJa's pivot to a fixed price menu. Between the appetizer, salad, and very generous entrée, you will not leave hungry, and the quality of the options is exceptional. The staff is attentive and intimately familiar with the menu. The craft cocktails and wine list are imminently suitable to the menu and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is cozy without being crowded - definitely make a reservation. We'll be back!

Blue D.

Yelp
My scallops had an ammonia taste, found out a week later... that's a sign that the scallops have gone bad. For the price I paid, you would think it would have been fresher.
google avatar

Holly H.

Yelp
Never disappointed! The food is always fresh. The service is always spectacular! The best day to go is Wednesday night. Light foot traffic and not too busy. Always parking!
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service was top notch!! Noja potatoes and the Hanger steak is a must! We pretty much ordered everything and would do it again!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat! Atmosphere is always inviting food is always on point and the staff is one of the friendliest in the Great State of Alabama. If more than 2 of you going make sure you get a reservation a couple days in advance if not sit at the bar and get some personal service. The menu changes with the season and I have not been disappointed yet!

Yelp
We stopped by on a Tuesday without a reservation. Not expecting to go there, we were definitely not dressed for fine dining. We were told there were not any tables available and were sat at the bar, despite there being three 2-tops available for the next two hours until we left. Was this on purpose, as we were dressed like we just hit up some frozen margaritas and spilled half on our shirts? Probably, but who's to know for sure. Despite landing at the bar, Alison, the bartender, was the MVP for the evening. She mixed us the best cocktails we've ever had: an Old Fashioned and a "please make me something fruity and not super sweet," which ended up being an elderberry, blueberry and lemon cocktail of some sort, which was *chef's kiss.* Alison gave us a ton of fabulous tips and recommendations and overall was fabulous. We love you, Alison. My partner and I split the 3-course meal: the scallops, the tomato and burrata salad, and the veal chop, as well a pork belly appetizer. Overall, a 4.5 out of 5. Delicious, but missed the mark in a couple important areas. The pork belly could have been just a touch crispier but overall, the pork belly was great. The salt, acid, and sweetness combo was excellent. The scallops were tasty, flavorful, and seared perfectly, but overall they were hella salty. The tomato and burrata salad was extremely delicious but there were very few tomatoes (especially for being in the name), a very small serving of cheese, and the balsamic was really, really strong. The veal chop was a bit tough but cooked perfectly. The sides- crispy fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts- were cooked to perfection. Possibly even the best we've ever had. Overall, a very good meal and fairly priced!

Yelp
Long-Winded Long-Distance Review Time: Noja (Mobile, AL) I have been in a slump lately with writing reviews. I lost my passion for food and the flavor to eat. I figured I needed to take a little road trip to hopefully excite my palate and jump start my devotion to write again. Does Noja and Chef Trey have what it takes to bring me back to life? This restaurant kept popping up on my Facebook feed, so I decided to do a little research. All of the photos I saw of the food looked amazing, so I had to book reservations. Welcome to an elegant brick vintage décor restaurant. This is an amazing place just to enjoy an upscale meal or celebrate a birthday or anniversary. The service is beyond phenomenal here. All of the staff is southern style friendly and will wait on you hand and foot. Please forgive me once again, I can not remember the young lady who took care of us, but she was amazing. She made perfect suggestions for each course, but in all honesty, we were a party of 3; so we were going to try EVERTYHING!!! I was so excited to get started, my mouth was watering and I was starting to perspire. Our choice of cocktails tonight were the strong and powerful Old Fashioned, delicious French Martini, and wonderful Blueberry Lemon Drop. I will start by saying, before we get into our courses, this place has brought a culinary explosion to Mobile. Chef Trey has brought simplistic farm to table food and created phenomenal fundamental dishes. Every bite was perfectly seasoned and presented extraordinary flavor combinations to this elegant dining establishment. No stone was left unturned by Chef Trey's line tonight! To begin, we tried this buttery Seared Duck Foie Gras, which was accompanied by a strawberry puree and a crispy crostini. The restaurant also provides you with their fresh baked baguette, which we used for the foie gras also. But the baguette is served with this beautifully whipped deliciously creative honey basil butter. The smooth creamy bacon Cauliflower Soup was delectable. And this is by far the best Braised Pork Belly I have ever had in my life that absolutely melted in your mouth, and was served along side this fresh corn watermelon salad. The Shrimp and Scallops were amazing on top of creamy parmesan grits with a light port wine cream sauce. I don't think I have ever had a salad this amazing with the most fresh and clean produce. We tried all three of the salad options and not one of them disappointed. The Summer Salad had the sweetest watermelon and strawberries, and was topped with a wonderful slightly sweet and acidic strawberry dressing. The Spinach Salad had bacon, shallots, and blue cheese, and had the best bacon vinaigrette I have ever tried. The Burrata Salad was a smooth creamy delight, especially paired with these baby heirloom tomatoes. I didn't think tonight's food could surprise me anymore, until the entrées came out. Beautiful, delicious, simplistic dishes, and perfected with skillful kitchen technique! The Lamb Chops were cooked a perfect medium rare, seasoned perfectly, and extremely tender; and was paired with a beautiful slightly sweet port wine reduction. The Dry Aged Sous Vide Pork Chop was massive, extremely moist, and went wonderfully with a delicious ginger sweet garlic pan a jus. The pan seared fresh Panko Crusted Halibut was light and flakey and beyond exceptional. For our sides we decided to try all they had, which were probably some of the best potatoes ever. Tonight, the entrees could be served with the combination of mashed potato and sweet potato infused with truffle oil, which was a beautiful flavor explosion. Or you could get the best par boiled, extra crispy skinned, deep fried potatoes with coarse sea salt. Then you could choose from the amazing char roasted brussel sprouts or the deliciously garlic tender asparagus. Still room for dessert? You bet there was, because I took home to-go boxes. I refused to leave here without trying something, since all of the other courses were so exceptional. The Flourless Chocolate Torte was moist and served with the most amazing coffee caramel sauce, and was sprinkled with a little sea salt to heighten the flavor. It has been so long since I have had a perfect Crème Brule and thank you to the patisserie tonight for blessing me with this quintessential tempered dessert. The crispy sugar coating, warm outer layer of crème with a cool center, and perfectly creamy custard texture was flawless. Overall Review: 210% worth every penny and the hour drive to enjoy this restaurant...I can not wait to come back and try what is on the menu next...This restaurant is now in my top 5, since Troubadour has closed its doors. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this drive and satisfy your palate!!! It was an absolute pleasure to dine here tonight!!!

Yelp
Love the food and setting at NoJa! Went for my husbands birthday with family and friends - fabulous evening all around.

Yelp
Great place and the food was excellent!! We only had appetizers but they were delicious and scallops I had were very tender.

Yelp
I (literally) don't know what's taken me so long to dine here, but I'm so glad Open Table (and my search for the hubby's birthday dinner reservation) prompted me to pull the trigger! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were impressed. Promptly seated, cocktails were spot on, bread service was nice (love the -- tomato w/ a perfect hint of honey-- butter), and the apps were divine. The hubs' pork belly was a real star! My shrimp bisque was great also. Paulina was an awesome server and gave great recommendations. For our entrees, I went with the salmon and hubs got the Kansas City Strip. BOTH were amazing. Temperatures were perfect, the flavors were poppin', and Kevin (on proteins) deserves a friggin' medal! I have NEVER had the perfect crisp on salmon that I had tonight! (Never. My eyes watered a little!) We were too stuffed for dessert, but trust me-- we'll be back! This dinner was one for the books! SALUD!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great service, good food and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back! Would prefer a non-fixed menu but still really good!

Jenna R.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful! My husband got the pork belly as an appetizer then steak, and I ordered the scallops then duck. This was definitely an experience we'll remember. Perfect

Yelp
Food was excellent! Nice ambience too. Service was great as well. They were very helpful with my gluten intolerance as well. Overall we were very pleased with Noja.

Yelp
Great experience at NOJA as always! They consistently offer great service and food! The ambience is wonderful! I have been here many times and have never been disappointed.

Yelp
Server top notch. Food all wonderful. Portions very nice. I took most of my entree home! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Visited my bf who was working in Mobile, the food was absolutely amazing, the scallops were soft and delicious and my sous vide steak was cooked to absolute perfection . We had a very friendly bartender who quickly met our needs and whipped us up some yummy cocktails. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Larry D.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Would rate it a 10.

James N.

Yelp
Great meal experience. Came here for a work dinner. Three courses for $65 is decent in todays despicably inflated economy. The shrimp and scallops and grits appetizer was delightful. Full of flavor and the shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. The grits were creamy and delicious, and I usually don't like grits but these were fantastic. I got the spinach salad and it came with tons of bacon and dressing. The dressing might've been a little on the heavy side because it was almost too flavorful, but nonetheless good. I probably could've been full after having just these two items - I wish it was available a La carte instead of pre fixe. I got the hangar steak for the main entree and it was good, but definitely not as good as the appetizer or salad. The Brussel sprouts were delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was good. Overall, I would come back next time I'm in Mobile but I do wish I could've ordered things a la carte. I have a pretty big appetite and I was stuffed, for a non-obese woman or a man that isn't very hungry, it would probably be too much food.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food and the service are always top notch. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Yelp
Enjoyed my birthday dinner here last night. I was very excited about this restaurant after reading so many excellent Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed! First off, the restaurant ambiance is very cozy, warm, romantic. It's small and intimate. The service was excellent. The dinner consisted of a 3 course Prix Fix type menus where you pick an appetizer, salad and entree for $65. Food was very delicious, but quite rich. This is NOT the place to go if you are trying to watch your figure or be health conscious. I had the butternut squash soup (Devine! ), fall salad (good not amazing) and lamb (delicious, huge and perfectly done). My boyfriend had shrimp, scallops and grits (excellent), same salad, and Salmon (very good). Side veggies of mashed potatoes (good), fingerling potatoes (very good), Brussels sprouts (too salty, not crisp enough) and squash/carrots (too mushy, too much fat and salt). We ordered ginger donut with popcorn ice cream, as the waiter said it was the top seller. It was interesting, tasty, but not mind blowing. Not something I'd order again.

Mary N.

Yelp
Ate here about a week ago with some friends. I've been wanting to try this place out because I heard so many good reviews. The atmosphere is a bit classy but very relaxing. We had a 2 year old with us, but luckily she was well behaved and the staff was very sweet to her. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. We got to enjoy the Foie gras, crab fritters, lamb chop plate, duck plate and the panko crusted bass. All was cooked very well, medium. The lamb needed more seasoning but was still fantastic to eat. The noja potatoes are a must as a side. It is very different side combo. It kinda looks like grits but are fantastic.

Yelp
Excellent. There's a $65 prix fixe menu including appetiser, salad and entree. Paulina was our server and she was the perfect mix of friendly but not hovering. She was there to refill a drink and the courses came out with perfect, almost too quick timing. We started with the scallops and the chicken karaage. Both were excellent. The burrata and spinach salads also both held up well, with the burrata being perfectly creamy and not overwhelmed with the balsamic drizzle. The spinach salad is slightly heavy on the bacon. For entrees, the panko crusted fish was nice, a little under salted, but with the brussel sprouts it melded well. The noja potatoes are interesting. A mix of sweet and white potatoes. Hanger steak was perfectly cooked and tender. We finished with the ginger doughnut. Interesting but not something I would get again. The ginger doughnut leaned more toward savory than sweet. I can now say that I have tried popcorn ice cream.

Yelp
Great food, delightful atmosphere, and an incredibly friendly, helpful server who was very real about guiding us to choose foods. NoJa? More like YesJa for me.
