Noku Phuket (Chalong, Phuket Area) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Increasingly, it takes something special to stand out among Phuket’s crop of luxury boutique hotels. Part of what sets Noku Phuket quite literally apart from the competition is its inland setting, on a hilltop overlooking Chalong Bay, near the island’s southern extremity. It gives up direct beach access for a unique elevated infinity pool, as well as a number of private pools attached to the larger units. And for many guests — think of Ubud in Bali — the forest is a fine substitute for a view of the sea." - Tablet Hotels

4 Phuket resorts where your private paradise awaits - SilverKris

"Perched on a hill in south Phuket about a 20-minute drive from Phuket Town, this boutique resort blends seclusion with easy access to local attractions through its complimentary shuttle service. Its 91 villas and lofts use soft, earthy tones and natural textures; Hill Villas deliver sweeping views over Chalong Bay, while Tree Villas hide private pools amid lush vegetation for maximum privacy. Guests can relax at a picturesque pool deck and terrace bar, enjoy a small but focused restaurant serving well-executed Thai classics (notably a Thai-style omelette with crab meat and Panang curry), and unwind at a newly opened spa featuring an infrared red room and steam sauna, with staff available to arrange outings such as a visit to a nearby distillery." - Michelle JN Lim

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful stay I had at your hotel. I was truly impressed with the exceptional service and the genuine warmth of your staff. The villa was beautiful with a stunning view, and the pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was good, and the room service was excellent. I must also commend the reception and front desk staff for their outstanding hospitality. Specially Ms. Natty. Your hotel is perfect for families, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Thank you again for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to visiting you again soon.

It was a great stay at Noku hotel. The facility is very luxurious, room is always clean, you will not see a single insect despite having our room in the middle of a jungle. It’s all green around you and the terrace view with infinity pool is beyond amazing. The breakfast is international and suitable for almost all cultures. The staff are very very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is peaceful you will never hear a motor or a car sound. This is very important when choosing a hotel in Thailand, because some other areas are very busy and noisy all day. Also you can easily request bolt ride and within maximum 5 minutes it will reach the hotel. Highly recommended hotel. A must to stay in when you are in Phuket.

An excellent secluded and peaceful resort. We felt very welcomed and looked after during our stay. The gardens and architecture were beautiful. Our room including our private outdoor space was spacious, clean and enjoyable to relax in. The restaurant served good quality, fresh and healthy food.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary. When we arrived, we found a cockroach in our bathroom. Housekeeping didn’t take action until we followed up a second time – not exactly what you’d expect from a hotel that presents itself as premium. Worse, however, was the loud music coming from a nearby villa – not just once, but over the course of three to four days. We called reception twice with no result. Eventually, we went down to the front desk ourselves to address the issue in person. That seemed to trigger a short-lived response – the music quieted down for about 15 minutes, before returning just as loud as before. It felt like our concerns weren’t being taken seriously at all. What was especially disappointing: not once were we able to speak to a manager directly. When we went to the front desk, again – no manager. We were left only with the very kind reception staff, who clearly tried their best, but were ultimately powerless to resolve the issue. Even after a business partner of ours called the hotel directly and tried to escalate the matter in Thai, they requested we come up to reception to discuss the matter, but when we did we were once again only spoken to by a reception staff who seemed to know minimal information. Once again, no manager. No real apology. No actual plan. It is very disappointing that after four formal contacts about the issue - not once did we see a manager. This is hard to fathom in 2025 at a hotel that claims to be 5 stars. Unfortunately, the only solution offered was to move us the next day to a lower room category – while keeping the same rate we were already paying for our higher-category room. That offer felt more like a formality than a real attempt to help. It’s also worth mentioning that the disruptive music was coming from guests in the villa opposite – and while every hotel welcomes a mix of cultures and backgrounds, one might hope for some basic mutual respect when it comes to noise levels. All in all, while the hotel looks the part, it didn’t deliver in terms of service or guest experience. It’s unfortunate – we had high expectations.

Rooms: the rooms were actually quite amazing, from the shower, to the bath, to the actual room itself was absolutely amazing! The unique aspect is that you are connected to nature in such an intimate way that the experience is surreal! Throughout the day, all we could hear was the peaceful sound of insects, frogs and we felt as if were in the middle of a rain forest, the villas and rooms require a buggy as it’s all spread throughout a large compound nestled amongst greenery, ponds and pools! The only couple of things we weren’t happy with was the bed, it was stiffer than we were used to and we did end up with back pain but this might not be the case for everyone, so definitely experience it first. The rooms have connecting rooms and depending on what type of person is in the other room, it was get obnoxiously loud and there is no privacy! This is not advices on the website on Booking.com so be aware! It is a bit of a lottery system whether you get lucky enough to not have a rough neighbour. We had a partially bad evening/night with loud music being played next door and it was literally next door 🚪 Facilities: plenty of pools, a somewhat decent gym, yoga room etc were all available as usual for a hotel/resort such as this, definitely not resort style as our usual stay at the Marriott, but unique in its own way, only 1 restaurant but the food is delicious. Daily from 4-5pm they offer afternoon tea and snacks and absolutely delicious drinks and food is always on offer, we loved this! The hotel also offers free shuttle services to Old Town, Central Phuket and the beach, the times for these shuttles can be slightly inconvenient but the availability is definitely a plus!! Location: located in Chalong, the location itself is beautiful with full city views and a glimpse of the Bay Area, on a clear day it’s magnificent! Taxis can be slightly hard though as it is out of the way for everything, Grab will be your friend, just be ready to spend on it. Service: absolutely amazing people everywhere we go, they are so proud to be Thai and are accommodating with everyone, Thailand is always one of our regular destinations and Noku service just builds on this amazing sentiment! An amazing experience we would be keen to repeat, definitely a worthwhile option for accommodation in this area!

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff gave us such a warm and thoughtful welcome—it really made us feel special. The amenities were excellent, and the location offered beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The resort is set on a hill, which can make walking around a bit tough, but they’ve thought of everything to make it easier. Golf carts are always available to take you to and from your room, and we never had to wait long for one. They also offer a convenient shuttle service to town, which made exploring the area super easy and stress-free.Between the stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and attentive service, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. Highly recommend!

We had a pleasant stay here for 3 nights and 4 days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They are ready to serve you 24/7, and i mean 24/7. Their baggies are available 24 hours to send you to and from the lobby. The main thing that made our trip so convenient was their staff, very attentive and ready to help you with anything. And also anything in the mini fridge is free of charge! They refill it once everyday. The only problem was that the hotel was located on a pretty high hill and no where near a beach, although they have shuttle bus schedules for certain areas, it was a bit difficult to schedule a return. If you’re just here to rewind and make use of hotel facilities, I totally recommend Noku.

room was relatively really clean and hardly any bugs despite being in the mountains, we got some stained towels once but the hotel staff changed them immediately for us after calling inlocation wise is actually better than staying in the heart of one popular location, its essentially 20-40 mins away from all the main areas, so honestly u can go to a different place each day rather than being stuck in one location. the service was fantastic, the reception staff are quick to respond and pick up calls, the cleaning staff are quick to bring new items to the room and very thorough, there are tuktuks 24/7 and they arrive very very quickly to pick u up from your room and take u to ur room from the lobby, idk what some other reviewers are saying because they were super fast and available during my staythe amenities in the room are all free which is great, wish their hair dryer was a bit more powerful, and also had a slight problem with the power shutting on and off every now and then, the aircon setting is also set to quite a cold temperatureotherwise i think this was a great stay, rooms are beautiful, bathroom was beautiful, its very private and secluded
