The Best Pizza in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Nola Mia started as a bakery, gelato shop, and rare bagel destination, but it continues to blossom and add more offerings. There are NY-style thin crust pies as well chewier Grandma pies, and thick Sicilian-style. Some options are available to pick up by the slice in-store or order whole pies or custom pizza online here." - Eater Staff

"Homemade gelato flavors abound at Nola Mia, a family-owned shop on St. Claude Avenue, with regular offerings like mascarpone, stracciatella (chocolate chip), and tiramisu, as well as specials like strawberry cheesecake, wild fruit, and hazelnut. Rich and bright Italian ice flavors like cherry and watermelon are the perfect consistency, and with sorbets, milkshakes, and other Italian desserts like tiramisu and cannoli. The Best Restaurants and Bars in New Orleans’s Marigny Neighborhood | Eater New Orleans

"This family-owned cafe on St. Claude Avenue opened a few years back, bringing an array of homemade gelato, Italian ice, paninis, pizza, and NY bagels to the neighborhood. Nola Mia Blesses the Marigny With New York Bagels and Gelato - Eater New Orleans

"A new family-owned cafe on St. Claude Avenue brings the much-admired New York bagel to the Marigny, a local rarity that one of the owners personally transports from New York City, in addition to homemade gelato, Italian ice, paninis and more. Raffaele Iorio, his wife Roseann, and his daughter Rosaria opened Nola Mia Gelato Cafe last month, taking over what used to be a vintage music store and venue next to the Allways Lounge and steps from other late-night music destinations Hi-Ho Lounge and Siberia. The family serves a handful of brightly-colored Italian ices, 18 flavors of gelato, and pressed paninis with fillings like mozzarella and tomato, chicken cutlets, and prosciutto, as well as the bagels - while supplies last." - Clair Lorell

Google
The food was delicious, amazing lunch deal- two slices of pizza for 7.95. The restaurant is very clean, and the location is fairly in town. The most amazing part however was the service, we experienced nothing but patience and kindness. My friend wasn’t feeling well and he made her a tea. He is an amazing host, kind person, and his food is amazing

Google
ALWAYS hits the spot. Every single item we try here never disappoints. From slices to desserts. The pizza bottoms are always crispy and the crust and sauce flavor, divine! Puts Pizza Delicious slices to shame. Come here if you’re even thinking about it at all. You will absolutely not be disappointed. Great service, food, and vibe is always right to sit inside or out. No complaints.

Google
I found both pizza & ice cream, sorry, gelato to be very good! Pizza had a hard crust. Easy to pick up and fold without the point getting curved. Ingredients were good and overall flavorsome. I started with 1 slice of Premierie and even if wasn't planning to eat that much that convinced me to have a second slice, this one with chicken and some cheese that seemed ricotta. The gelato was tasty and the 2 scoops generous.

Google
From our first Nola Mia Gelato Cafe delivery order, I think we've finally found the closest thing to New York style pizza in the Bywater and beyond. New to the neighborhood, my spouse and I moved to NOLA in 2003, after about a decade in Manhattan – where there's a mom and pop pizza store on every corner. We had two on our block. Ever since, we've sought out those large and wide slices with the thin, crispy, foldable crusts we crave. We keep going back to the Margherita pizza. The only Nola Mia pizza we've tried so far that we don't care for is their Italian sausage – first with ricotta, and more recently on the Supreme pizza (by accident) – both times it was gamey tasting. We had to remove it.

AMAZING FOOD AT AMAZING PRICE. The slice of Sicilian and blood orange gelato was to die for

My second time in a week. My eggplant Parm last week was better than this week. Both of the paninis we ordered. were soggy on the inside. For me makes it impossible to enjoy as I don't like soggy stuff. The chicken on our chicken Parm was overcooked, dry, and had a mild scorched taste like it was shallow fried in a pan and the bits of the breading were beginning to burn. It was cooked way too long to be so thin. Had mango peach Italian soda again, that was good. Had a Greek salad with chicken last week. It was very good the chicken was fresh flavorful and juicy. My Eggplant Parm sandwich last week was very good too. I posted some older photos (June 27, 2021) of my first visit. That time my pizza was overcooked so it took me close to two years to try them again and I am across the street hungry every Sunday night. I am going to try the Pizza one more time and do an update. Hopefully, it's better than the first time. I need a go-to place to eat when I am in the area.

Nice pizza spot in the bi water. Quick and easy to get to during events, lunch, or even for a party. Good quality pizza with tons of items on the menu. You won't be dissapointed and the staff are so nice ☺️

Google
We stopped by NOLA Mia right when they opened, before watching the Acro Cats at the Cabaret next door. It was a cute place, local art for sale on the walls. The service was friendly and fast. We got a total of three slices, garlic knots and two drinks for about $22. The slices were huge and flavorful as were the garlic knots. We didn't try the gelato because we didn't want to be totally miserable during the show BUT it looked REALLY good. I would definitely recommend checking out NOLA Mia's if you're in the area - they have sandwiches and salads as well - the menu has a lot of options!

Yelp
Sooooo good, authentic, delicious, affordable. It was awesome to hear about the origin of some of these recipes from his family members in Italy. New York style pizzas.

Yelp
Once we arrived next door realized we were famished. I ran over here to see what was available to eat. Honestly the establishment doesn't look like much. We ended up coming back 2 x with in 3 hours, will say each time, waited on promptly & very friendly staff. Casual establishment nothing fancy in an off the beat location. I am a firm believer that location doesn't matter, if the food is awesome. Omg! The pizza here is the best, made me realize what I have been missing. Pizza is not exaggerated wet or dry, sauce is just perfect, goodness the crust light, toasted & amazing! You definitely want to give this pizza a chance!

Yelp
This lil cafe saved me several times on my recent trip to New Orleans. I was staying in an Airbnb next door, and after spending the days out having' a good ol' time, I would come back late, feeling thirsty and hungry/snacky. There isn't anything else offering quick, tasty bites in the neighborhood. I refueled on this cafe's sorbet, waters, and pizzas. All were very yummy and reasonably priced.

Genevieve D.

Yelp
First of all, I don't know what happened to this place or if it's a new owner, but we got a pizza the other night that was literally wet and burnt at the same time. Open the box it looks great but try to lift a slice and it just fell apart. Even a New York style pizza could be folded. This pizza wouldn't even hold up and then the bottom tasted burnt. DoorDash gave me my money back, but when I went to talk to the owner and brought them the pizza he complained and said it wasn't even burnt. I'm like dude i've lived in Chicago and New York and I think I know a thing or two about pizza being Italian and this was just crap. He offered to give me another pizza. I suggested a Sicilian style. Well... That was the most massive hunk of bread and cheese, and the sauce was so plain and boring that the whole thing was just absolutely disgusting. I couldn't eat it. I threw it away. Never go back there again. Ever they blew it.

Yelp
Owner was very nice. Shop is cute and quaint however the pizza was bland. I wanted to really love it.

Yelp
While visiting NOLA, we decided last minute to go to a burlesque show which happened to be next door to this pizza/gelato place. The door man at the show told us they didn't serve food, but we could get take out next door at Nola Mia and bring it in during the show to enjoy. So, we did! The chicken parm was tasty, as was the Greek Salad. The employees here are very friendly and accommodating. They bagged everything to go, including napkins and utensils, and told us to enjoy the show next door. Excellent menu, tasty gelatos, and friendly workers.

Yelp
NOLA Mia Gelato Cafe is a great new addition to the New Orleans pizza and gelato scene. They offer some large slices of pizza at good prices along with offering large servings of delicious gelato. Their prices aren't quite a good deal as New York's pint of beer and a slice of pizza for $5 but they are still a good deal especially these days of price increases all around due to the pandemic troubles. This is smaller space but it has quickly gotten quite popular as word has spread. They also offer coffee, sandwiches, bagels and pastries so Angelo Brocato's has a little competition now. Overall this is a good spot to grab some affordable food and the pizza seems to make the New Yorkers and other Yankees happy (so now they can compare, contrast and fight about the pizza here with the pizza at Pizza Delicious to continue their pizza wars and quest to transform New Orleans, LA into L.A. California). I will just side with the long time local Sicilians in the area that want to keep NOLA more Sicilian myself as you don't want to cross a Sicilian :) My video review of NOLA Mia Gelato Cafe is here: https://youtu.be/HHqxqlgZd9E

Yelp
When you enter this cute cafe it's like stepping into another world, it has the cutest vibes I love their cafe and their pizza wowowow amazing! They were so kind as well!

Yelp
Five all the way. I usually get my food to go when I come with Nick. But he is at work so I decided to sit and eat. Interesting people run in and out. You can order by the slice and eat the pizza on the run. Freshly made an so good. Cheaper than all the fast food places around. They also have a great lunch special I also tried their meat lasagna for $11.95. Freshly made and the pasta is like none I have tasted before. So light and fluffy. The staff is friendly and appreciative of your business. You gotta try them
google avatar

Camille G.

Yelp
Loved their big delicious pizza slices! Went back after eating to place another order because it was that good! The sauce is uniquely sweet because I believe they use honey, but it brought out a flavor that complimented well with the dough and acidity of the sauce. The ambiance of the restaurant felt authentic, and the staff were sweet. I also had their gelato, which was very delicious!

Vanessa Z.

Yelp
Round two: ordered chicken parm and meatball sandwiches but they were meh, kinda dry and flavorless. Also ordered Italian sodas but didn't end up getting them bc they were out of cream.

Yelp
One of the Marigny/Bywater gems that you hate to publicize because then you'll have to wait an hour to eat.....BUT the gelato was some of the best I've had in the city. Do not SLEEP on the mascarpone and fig gelato. It is utterly perfection. The espresso and the pistachio gelato was also really delicious. My kids devoured the blood orange gelato. Now it's on the pricier side- $4 for one scoop;one flavor small and $8 for a large and two flavors. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and empty. A great time to take the kids. Plenty of street parking and cool art inside and out.

Yelp
Disappointing gelato. It had a very gritty texture and little flavor. Not worth the price.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Nice family and great food. Try the gelato it is delicious.

Yelp
First off, the menu is huge, and all of it is good, but some items are amazing: The eggplant they make, for their sandwiches and pasta, is the most tender, flavorful eggplant I've had anywhere. I get something with eggplant every time and I'm always blissed out. For sweets, I'm a big fan of their red velvet cake and their blackberry gelato. Rich, complex flavors. If you find that stuff is too sweet at a lot of places in NOLA, try the sweets here. It's a cramped space, and there's not a lot of people working at any given time, but everyone's attitude is great. The owner is a particularly warm person. HOT TIP: Nola Mia is best fresh! All of it, from the pizza to the Gelato, is a solid A+ when it's fresh and maybe a C when it's been sitting for a while. So, don't buy slices that have been sitting, get a fresh pie! Get that gelato at lunch instead of at close and it will blow your mind.

Yelp
A really really chilled spot. I ordered The Cesar's grill chicken salad and it was good. I also ordered this damn icecream that included fig and it was sooo good I had to give a star for the Marscapone Nd fig Gelato!! Was delicious ... I had a delicious time overall!

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE! 1st owner and pizza maker is from Queens NY! We finally found sicilian pizza and grandma style pizza!!! The way I know both of those styles! Absolutely delicious! His sauce is light and fresh! Not greasy. Regular pizza is good and so are his calzones!! His gelato is fabulous and flavors you don't find often!!!! Absolutely check this place out and order the Sicilian and thank me later!
google avatar

Genevieve F.

Yelp
A friend of mine ordered pizza from here and it's good. He got the margherita pizza because I'm pescatarian, which is so sweet. It had a medium thick crust and a gray sauce. I was definitely impressed with this pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
By far the worst. The pizza was cold my first experience of eating in was far more better then Togo., Pre cooked canned mushrooms no sauce no chees you can see Thru the pizza. EPIC FAIL! Never again!

Yelp
absolutely delicious pizza! Try the mediterranean pizza; terrific vegetarian. Ordered at 9 pm and delivered by 9:45 pm through doordash.

Yelp
Great pizza! Excellent vegan options. The vegan cheese is fantastic. I've also had a sandwich here and it was great. I think this is the best vegan pizza in New Orleans.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has been on my radar since it opened being blocks from where I live and FINALLY checked it out. Phoned in an order for pickup for a full pizza (although they do offer slices which could be the way to go). The pizza was just ok, toppings were on the skimpy side besides the full cloves of garlic which I didn't expect as they weren't on the menu for the spinach artichoke pizza and overwhelmed the pizza and not in a good way. Pizza is about a 3 star IMO. As for the the gelato, we got a few cups to go and unfortunately both tasted freezer burned and didn't melt in your mouth the way a gold gelato should with crystallized freezer burn (honestly the gelato was bad). The best I can do is a 2.5 star. Wish I could go higher as they offer some vegetarian and vegan options which I appreciate but they need to do better.
google avatar

Chy M.

Yelp
Staff is super friendly! The pizza slice was absolutely delicious They didn't have exactly what I needed on the menu they do not have starch free, or keto options They made me a custom Toppenish that came up to all of nine dollars that consisted of a fresh grill, chicken breast, fresh mozzarella with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, and onions. It was absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Lacey D.

Yelp
I had heard so much about the food at Nola Mia, I was excited to try it for lunch. My husband and I shared: a slice of pep pizza, a slice of supreme pizza, the capish sandwich, and then we each got gelato. Everything was good. My favorite thing was the pepperoni pizza- the crust was so light and crispy. The chocolate gelato is also really good!
google avatar

Dino M.

Yelp
Honestly the best pizza in the city. But the woman answering the phone is so rude. Literally wouldn't let me speak and then hung up on me. I was so not prepared for that. I had placed an order on GrubHub that was cancelled so I reordered the same items through door dash. I was simply calling them to let them know that it was for the same person and that they didn't need to remake anything and waste food for no reason. But this lady literally hung up on me. She should not be answering their phone or talking to customers in any capacity as she lacks any sort of communication skills or etiquette. The guy that answered earlier was very nice and helpful. In the future if she answers the phone when I call to order I will simply hangup and order from somewhere else.

Yelp
I pass this place almost every day as part of my commute. When I saw the large ice cream cone outside, I realized I had to stop one day to try it. One downside though is the neighborhood, which is borderline not-good, so I wasn't going to go after work in the dark. I finally made it for lunch on a weekend. Along with gelato they have pizza, paninis, coffee, and Italian soda. I got the pastrami panini and then some gelato. The sandwich came with chips, which were probably Lays chips, but I'm not docking them for that because I don't expect homemade chips at this sort of place. One thing I noticed is that there was only one person working - presumably the owner - while I was there. He'd probably benefit from getting a bell for the counter. Anyway, the panini was good, and the I got dessert. I had marcapone and stracciatella gelato, which were good. The stracciatella was vanilla with chocolate flakes, and the marcapone was... not-quite-vanilla. Hard to describe. It's inevitable that locals will want to know how this place compares to Angelo Brocato's. That's unfair, as this place is less than a year old, has less patronage, less money, and less staff. I can't even just compare gelato because I only get the fruit ices at Brocato's. I will make a return trip to try the ices and then update my review.

S C.

Yelp
If you're looking for an authentic slice of New York-style pizza in the heart of New Orleans, look no further than Nola Mia. This pizzeria serves up some of the most delicious and authentic pies I've had outside of the Big Apple, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were super friendly as well
google avatar

Spencer S.

Yelp
Nice variety of gelatos and my wife sampled the banana pudding milkshake. I opted for the peanut butter gelato which had streaks of strawberry jam running throughout. Atmosphere was nice, inviting and surprising clean considering we came towards the end of the day. I liked how the tables had little center pieces as well. Only complaints we had were that there were no cups for the complimentary water and the milkshake was perhaps ice-based and so there were chunks of unground ice here and there.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza I have had in a while, love the owners and their style. NYC pizza at its finest

Yelp
This pizza is the BOMB. I am from the Northeast Rhode Island/Pennsylvania I have been searching for pizza by the slice for years. Pizza I grew up with that you fold in half and eat. This crust is PERFECT the sauce is PERFECT the cheese the doneness of the crust. If you are from the Northeast and have been jonesing for sliced pizza look no further. Eating here today made me so happy and I will be back We also had a small gelato one scoop of cherry and one scoop of lemon --YUM

Vegan C.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. I even made a post on my vegan page about it. My gluten free crust was cooked perfectly but the vegan home made cheese was scarce, they missed the tomatoes AND got canned shrooms (yuck). Needs a more progressive vegan menu and things like kombucha in their fridge. Would not get that vegan pizza again but don't see other VG GF choices. Oh well. Staff was friendly ...talked about how the last place he worked in Portland had "all those options" that we don't. Why don't nola business owners especially in the Bywater do better????
google avatar

Erika O.

Yelp
Sweet baby Jesus, get their pizza! It's OUTSTANDING! We usually only go for the gelato, but tonight we picked up some pizza based off a rec from our neighbor who was a safe social distance away, and it HIT THE SPOT!!! Arrivaderci.. I'm Uruguayan so I can kinda say that..

Yelp
The gelato here brought me right back to my trip to Rome many years ago. I ran into this cute cafe to avoid the sudden, torrential rain and despite the wetness outside it felt like the sun was shining inside this super cute place. If you've got to wait out the rain, why not eat gelato? I knew I had to get a scoop of the the Hazelnut, and ended up with Caramel and Passion Fruit as well. The three flavors went really well with each other. The Hazelnut gelato took me immediately back to a hot, Roman plaza in the summertime. It was delicious! The Passion Fruit wasn't tart like I thought it might be, very fruity, but not overly tropical in taste. I didn't think the Caramel was going to be anything special, but I was so wrong. You must try it! Little bits of chewy, slightly salty caramel pieces were dappled in the gelato! A dream combination. The shop is super cute, covered in pastel painted picture frames. All the colors go together to create a unique feeling, Italian cafe. The Italian owner was there and was extremely friendly. It's all very simple, but also very well executed.

Yelp
Got a slice of supreme, was told I could get a slice of this other pizza that lacked onions and peppers but was otherwise "the same", it was not the same. Floppy. Friend got a veggie pizza slice and was also displeased. I tossed the remainder of my slice. The gelato is ok.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a gem. I moved to the city and neighborhood recently and have been on a desperate hunt for edible pizza. This place has coffee, pastries, bagels, paninis, a wide assortment of gelato, and ... Pizza! The owner is from New York and understands the need for legitimate pizza. New Orleans is a desert when it comes to respectable pizza. Though this pizza does fall into the NY slice category that's prevalent here, the slices are tastier. They're very thin, a bit greasy but not over the top, and crispy crust on the edge. Slices are 2 for $5. They only have cheese and pepperoni, but they added delicious peppers and onions to mine. There is no other good pizza in Marigny that you can just pick up like this. It's right next to Roberts if you want salad with your pizza. I will go back to try the paninis and gelato.
google avatar

Sascha B.

Yelp
Excellent, authentic, delicious! This place is the real deal, folks. Owner is from Naples (and is super friendly) and imports all the good stuff straight from Italy. And the bagels are legit NY bagels. Sampled a couple of sandwiches (a special I'd seen on Facebook - prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, olive oil and Rosemary on an everything bagel - and the Tuscan - grilled chicken, red pepper, mozzarella on French), a bagel straight up with butter, the sfogliatelle, cannoli (cream made in house!), and gelato (frutti di bosca, chocolate, mango, and blood orange sorbet), and it was all outstanding! Go now, you won't regret it!
google avatar

Cortnay B.

Yelp
Found a hair in my gelato. Gelato that tasted freezer burned. Seriously gross and disappointing.
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
The pizza here is some of the best in the city. Though the crust is a little too soft for my liking the toppings and cheese are superb. The slices could be a bit larger but overall its on par with some of the best pizza in Nola. The Pepperoni is a bit too oily so stay away the rest is delicious.
google avatar

Sean F.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas I've found in the New Orleans area. I'm originally from the northeast, and I was recently lawyered about two new places: Nola Mia, and Zee's. I did a blind taste test to see which one I preferred, and it was Nola Mia. Looking forward to returning and trying the Grandma and Sicilian.
google avatar

Kory P.

Yelp
If you haven't ordered a Sicilian Pizza you are totally missing out. This is my second this week :) My friend let me try a slice a few weeks ago at his place and I've been hooked since then! Seriously guys this is THE PIZZA you've been waiting for.

Yelp
A new gelato place in a neighborhood that could use one, walkable from St. Roch Market among other places. The gelato selection is very much fruit and nut flavors trending towards the traditional Italian; none of the crazier trendy flavors that one sees, and notably no mint. Nonetheless I found intriguing things to try. What they described as chocolate Nutella frankly tasted like it had more hazelnut in it than actual Nutella. The cherry flavor was strong and sweet and definitely one of the fruitier gelatos I've had. Oddly, the consistency of these two flavors was different; I think that the ones towards the open back of the display were much closer to melting than the ones in front, which were very cold. A thick waffle piece finished things off. I have a favorite gelato place in New Orleans and this hasn't replaced it, but the neighborhood here has plenty of food and not a ton of dessert and I think this place may do alright.
google avatar

Misha L.

Yelp
This quaint ice cream/sandwich shop was sooooo good. I love sweets and so it was natural for me to try this. The gelato is made fresh daily by the owner. He spoke with us and told us he does everything and loves to change it up so he will rotate flavors like people change clothes. Although I found a flavor I am in love with I look forward to coming back again to try something different and the highly recommended Cuban sandwich. As for gelato I opted for the caramel and butterscotch pecan in a vanilla cone. The gelato was smooth and tasted exactly like the flavors i asked for. The cone was by far the best ice cream cone I had and it was so fresh. The cones even come with a little waffle chip on top. He got the s'mores shake. It tasted just like a smore but a little bit more graham cracker pieces in it that he would have liked. It was super clean. The owner and his staff were so friendly and helpful. I tried a few different gelatos, ice, and sorbets. If you like sweets definitely come on down here.

Yelp
As October is Italian American Heritage Month, I will dedicate my reviews this month to the local Italian American businesses that make New Orleans so great and enrich her culture. Nola Mia Gelato Cafe is the best NY style pizza we have in town, hands down. I was a devotee during their food truck days, and adored their salad with the most delicious house made dressing. Come for the pizza, stay for the gelato. Luckily, they sell by the slice-did I mention two slices of cheese or pepperoni for only 5$! One quibble-the mushrooms on my veggie slice were canned. No thank you!
google avatar

Idreamov B.

Yelp
Ordered a calzone it was...Okay. it had been sitting there and they grab it and reheat it. Ummm not my favorite. How about you make it fresh, we weren't in a rush. The gelato was mediocre as well. Maybe we went on an off day but it was bland flavors, cotton candy , chocolate all sub par. The prices are WAY to high. A small calzone $7. Small gelato?? $4.50!!

Yelp
Let me tell you, my husband and I are fussy when it comes to pizza. We have been to Italy 5 times and they do pizza right, it's all about the dough. Here you won't be leaving any crust on your plate. We've tried all the pizza's and there all wonderful, thin crust with the right balance for toppings and sauce. The gelato is the perfect and made fresh in house by non other than a Italian that knows pizza and gelato not a want a be that thinks they know pizza and gelato. The gelato flavors are constantly changing because he's always experimenting with flavors. On a recent visit which was yesterday I had the chocolate sorbet for the second time in as many days and it is out of this world (if your a chocolate lover) dark and rich and not sweet. Also had the strawberry, vanilla, cherry NY cheesecake and Praline gelato the Cherry Cheesecake was my fav as the cherry's were just alittle tart so it again was not overly sweet. You really should pop into this little hole in the wall for a slice on the go and a gelato. There are only afew seats so it's not really a eat in kinda place but that's okay it ads to the charm.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We had a thin and thick crust pizza and gelato. Cute place and super friendly staff. I

Yelp
Been hearing lots of buzz about this joint and finally decided to check it out with my wife. Pizza is, of course, my favorite food so this was a no-brainer. I liked the pepperoni slices a lot, but it's not anything groundbreaking. The real benefit I see here is the price - $5 for two NY-style slices is pretty ridiculous. Wife got the chicken parm panini, which was fine, but definitely cold so that was a bummer for a made-to-order sandwich. Will be back for the Sicilian pie and gelato.

Yelp
This place can easily be missed if your not paying attention. Place looks small on the outside but it's long inside. Very colorful outside and inside! Pizza came out pretty quick, we didn't have to wait too long. We ordered 4 different pizzas. Pepperoni (can't go wrong) was nice and hot! The red peppers and sausage and the "lasagna" pizza we're pretty much the same- only difference is the lasagna had lumps of rocotta cheese- taste wise was exactly the same. The margherita had a good amount of tomato and basil Leaves! And for dessert got a cup of lemon ice- it was very very light, can barely taste the lemon. You can tell it was some tart but that's it. Like the fact this place does pizza by the slice! Overall the pizza was good! Nothing special special.

Yelp
NOLA mia!!! Advertised as NY pizza and fitting the description. I got excited from the get, when I saw the older Italian looking gentlemen serving me my slice. I got a pain cheese, bc that's how one truly evaluates how hood da slice is. Finally I place to get slice of NY in the big easy. I'll be back, and 5 bucks for 2 slices, come on meng!!
