Nola's Bar & Lounge

I’ve heard about Nola’s from many people since it opened. It was Ocean’s version of Borgata’s Gypsy Bar. The problem is it wasn’t as good. But that doesn’t matter anymore since Borgata decided to close the best live music bar in Atlantic City. My daughter and her BF took us to Nola’s. It was a great night. Good drinks, nice atmosphere, great music with a good dance floor. I guess one of the things that made Gypsy better was half the venue wasn’t reserve areas like Nola’s. Groups could reserve an area and it would be roped off but if no one reserved it then it was open to everyone. On this night all of the reserved areas were empty until the second band when two groups came in to take up most of one side of the reserved area. Gypsy has lots of high top tables which are great for dance venues. We still stay at Borgata but go to other casinos each night to whichever has the best live music and dancing that night. The more we go to Oceans the more we talk about switching from Borgata to Oceans. We can’t have Gold level status at two casinos so we have to pick. Nola’s might finally get us to switch casinos.

Had a fun time. Great for live music and drinks. Stick to the basics though...... specialty menu drinks were unbalanced and not made well on multiple occasions. May just be a training issue.....still fun.

Nola has great music but it always falls short of being packed. Not like the other Bars on the strip. Weekends are most definitely a nicer and bigger crowd which def fills the bar up . 40's and above club you get it! It's just very convenient since it's located on the casino floor you don't have to leave the property.

Very spacious and nice ambiance. Great drinks. There was a great band to listen to while enjoying your cocktail 🍹.

We were served pretty quick, drinks tasted great. The prices are what’s expected from a bar that’s inside of a casino. Seemed like a slow night but we made the best of the short time we spent here.

Avoid this place at all costs if you’re not trying to get robbed by the bartenders. They add extra drinks to your tab, intentionally don’t give you the receipt, and charge you for even more than you list on the bill. I never write reviews so this is how much I want give you a heads up before they do the same to you. AVOID!!!!! Lose your money playing black jack instead. Especially watch out for the blonde middle aged bartender. Ocean management do something to create better experiences for your customers. I’m sure I’m not the first and definitely not the last that will get robbed by your employees.

Just happened to walk in this place after leaving the club for a bachelorette and this place was BY FAR much more fun than the club! The cover band was amazing, playing hit songs that we could dance to, the drinks were delicious, bartenders very quick and friendly. Absolutely loved it. Can't wait to go again for their 2000s party!

Unfortunately, Thursday night. Over priced drinks and terrible DJ and music.

I Was there this past Friday I had an Espresso Martini I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had! Thanks Jorge for making a great drink! And the band was excellent! Great play list!

Stopped in before a show at the casino. The old fashioned here with bulleit rye had just the right notes. More please.

My first time visiting Atlantic City and I ended up coming here for two consecutive nights! The live band was so much fun! Drinks are good and the vibes were better. Crowd was more mature but everyone was having a good time!

Stopped by for about an hr to check it out, seemed like it was clean and In order. Had a cool modern vibe to it, we sat in the vip area which is kind of small but overall the bar itself is on the small side. They have a stage for live bands to play, they did have a band playing that night which was fun but I could have done without all the nysc and backstreet boys music. I got 1 drink that was really weak, I like my drinks strong and even after requesting it be made that way I couldn't really taste the alcohol. Over all I liked the time I was there and I would stop by if you're in Ocean resorts.

PROS: The place has live music of all kinds of genres and the staff is very nice. No cover charge and the drinks prices are reasonable CONS: There isn't that many people and the place is smaller than the other nightclubs around. OVERALL: Nice place, but there's an older crowd of 40+ year olds. So if you're looking for a younger vibe i wouldn't come here but if you want the older crowd than this place is good for you

I highly recommend this lounge and Hotel. The vibes here were unmatched. We partied until closing

Nice bar that had good live music. Had a diverse crowd from young to old would say mostly was late 30s-50sh with sprinkles of younger and older. Bar tenders were mostly attentive and had some happy hour drink specials that were $10. Espresso martini was good. Beyond that I had usual bar drinks

THE WORST SUPERBOWL EXPERIENCE EVER! For a $400 table minimum for 8 people I expected more. The food options were cold, dry chicken fingers, chips and bland guacamole, cold hot dogs, dry italian subs and dry turkey wraps. Why? Because none of the food was made on site. The drinks were weak. Waited over 40 minutes for ONE drink. The seating in the booths didnt face the screens. The tv in my apartment is bigger than the screens in the venue minus the one projection screen. The sound system was horrible. A complete rip off. Shouldve bought drinks at the bar and watched the game from there.
