Beyond candy-topped, sno-balls come in strawberry cheesecake, mixed berry, and served in a pineapple, alongside other fruity frozen cocktails and bar snacks like crawfish fries, wings, and burgers. Went on a slow day. Wanted a rainbow one but she didn’t have anymore gummies as much I should say. So I got a regular - which I felt was fairly priced. Juicy, tasted good. & then crawfish nachos. The cheese was A1. It was good. 10/10 service.

The Snowballs were so good! We had the OG Strawberry Cheesecake & Gentilly Cake (Awesomeness in a cup). The vibe was all that... And service was quick and friendly.

The owner herself was very down to earth. Concerned with service, drinks were beautiful & strong!! My husband & I enjoyed our lunch! This is an amazing black owned business 🖤💚❤️

I don’t nevvvvvveeeeerrrrrrr do this but I have too. We wanted 30+ mins for our drinks to come out! The food and drinks was over priced!! And how you give your self that much of a gratuity with only 2 people and you only checked on us ONCE!! Then you serve people with plastic plates and utensils. And have the nerve to be high! The drinks wasn’t even strong!! Trying to support black owned businesses!! Never again will I go back!!

I read the bad reviews but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the service I received. Both ladies working were friendly and very welcoming. They barely had any snowball flavors available but the one that was served to me was pretty good. But man the price they charge is outrageous. Two snowballs with a tube shot of vodka in each, combined with a forced 18% gratuity was over $38.00. I always tip 25% or more but I do not like it to be forced on me. I like to be the deciding factor. The place is also rarely open. I live across the street and it's about a 70% chance they will be closed during working hours. I wanted to like this place and I did until I was charged over $19 for a snowball with a tube shot. I almost thought I was on Bourbon St for a second.

My cousin from Oklahoma saw this place on IG and wanted to try it when she came to visit ! Waste of time and money ! The vibe was cool if you like loud music (which we didn’t have a problem with) we waited 45 on chicken quesadilla full Of small shrimp and parsley! My cousins drink was good but literally after two slips it was over for $12! I seen someone go over and ask another table if they were okay ? Did they need anything else ? I’m thinking she’s going to ask us as well! Nope ! She looks right at us and didn’t ask anything at all ! She then takes out her phone to record for instagram and I quickly realized she probably was the owner. So I get her attention and asked her if I could please get my drink I had been waiting for 45 mins! She rudely asks me where’s your drink ?? I said umm I don’t know but I Don’t have it and it’s been almost an hour at this point ! She’s says oh well I don’t know I’m just the owner, I work in the back ! All I’m thinking it wow!! That’s even more reason you should want me to have my drink and food because you are the owner ! Maybe she just wanted to let me know she was the owner ! Good for you ! When I did finally get my cocktail it’s was horrible ! The waitress spilled it all over my bag while pouring it and offered no apologies! I will not be returning needless to say !

Baby I’ve been wanting to try Nolasips since they opened and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! The vibe was amazing and the food was even better. I’m a saucier for all things New Orleans so this place was everything I expected. The snowballs were great without without alcohol and the food was timely. I WILL BE RETURNING!

My honey and I have been wanting to try this place!!! I saw it on TikTok. We love supporting black business. We attempted to go on 11/28/21. We called first to make sure they were open...no answer. Since the Google store hours were 12 p.m. - 11 p.m. and showing "open now", we decided to just pull up. Perhaps they were too busy to answer the phone. No big deal. We arrived around 5:00 p.m. and the door was locked. The cook happened to walk out from the side door. We spoke to him, and he said that they were opening around 6:00 p.m. He also said he would let us in if the bartender was there. We were really hungry, so we ended up going somewhere else. Second attempt on 1/16/22: We called again (3 times) just to make sure they were open this time...still no answer-voicemail. We were determined to try this place so we pulled up again. We arrived at 7:28 p.m. We called once more while parking - no answer. They were open! :) We walked in and the bartender greeted us from behind the bar. She told us to sit anywhere. At least, I think that is what she said. The music was so loud. I couldn't make out what she said exactly. We found a table and sat. It wasn't busy. There was one couple already in there and a group of 5 at the bar. We waited 15 minutes at our table before the bartender walked over. She was nice. She told us that the menu was on Instagram only. She said "I know it's unprofessional, but that's where it is". We didn't have an issue with that really. It was on the story though which meant that it only flashed for a moment. I had to take a screenshot of it in order to read and decide. We ordered: 2 NOLA Islands, Bourbon burger with fries, shrimp quesadilla. The drinks came to the table at 8:17 p.m. They were good. The food arrived at 8:50 p.m. Our first drinks were gone, so we ordered 2 more. We actually had to ask for more drinks. She didn't even ask. We had to eat half our meals without a drink...not even water. The second drinks came in about 15 minutes and a lot stronger. My boyfriend's fries were over done. He told her about it, and they made him another batch. They were better. My quesadilla was good. My boyfriend wasn't impressed with his burger. The bartender came over with the bill. The drinks were $12 each. The price didn't match the size of the drink (see photo). The glasses were about 4 oz. To make matters worse, the bartender added a 13% gratuity. The grand total was $94. I managed 3 seafood restaurants for 5 years. I totally have respect for the industry. We didn't get 13% gratuity service. Unfortunately, the whole experience was bad.

Yelp
This was such a cool experience. We've been to the owner's other biz so we knew we had to support this one as well. Seems like the rest of the city had the same idea because opening day was popping. I love that for her. The always colorful and bright vibe her places give off is unmatched. They have music playing and the decor really fits. I love the extra-ness of the toppings for the snoballs and of course the alcohol additions. Say what you want but the color change cups and utensils had me and the kids excited. The location was very well thought out because right across the street you have the consistently busy Morrow's. If you really know the city you know there is tons of "parking". Oh yea, our order... the wife and I shared a wedding cake with green apple crown while one kid had a bubblegum and the other I forgot. They make the syrup (if that's what they're called) in house so it was dope to see them whip it up while people were waiting for their orders. No such thing as being out of a flavor. We didn't order any food but I'll update on that if we ever do. Check it out if you have time and if you don't, make time. This is a Black woman owned business. Help her continue to be great.

Yelp
Thanks y'all Nolasips I had a blast picking out my flavor (Strawberry Lemonade and then topping Cotton Candy then throw on the spirits I chose Top Shelf Vodka). I can't believe they had D'usse with the cognac shortage. The turkey burger sliders were rolling and the honey heat wings were delicious. Wednesdays are $1 wing Wednesdays. I had to give 4 stars because it was a little hot in there. It's hot in New Orleans in the summer.

Yelp
I absolutely loved it here. The music was a bit loud but that's a personal problem so just a heads up. The owner made us special mac and cheese because we couldn't have the crawfish. The snowballs are good! The lamb chops are to die for. It's a great vibe. Great food. It's just hard to catch her actually open.

Yelp
We got to enjoy a Yelp Elite event here and had a blast! This is an up-and-coming bar and karaoke joint (usually on Wednesdays). It's got a fun colorful look inside and outside with a gorgeous mural on the walls inside. Casual atmosphere. It's a smaller bar, so getting up there to sing might not be so intimidating! As part of the perks as a Yelp Elite, we got to try their signature crawfish nachos, Philly-cheesesteak sliders, adult Capri-Suns, and a boozy/virgin snoball. The food tasted great! Well-cooked and perfectly seasoned. Perfect bar food. I had non-alcoholic options for both the Capri-Sun and the snoball, but I thoroughly enjoyed both! The food was good here, so we decided to order a chicken quesadilla ($13) too. We were hungry and it was JUST the thing we needed to satisfy us! It was delicious and pretty big! Cut into 4 pieces, each one was about the size of your hand. They didn't skimp on the chicken or cheese and it was fantastically cooked. Fair portion and reasonably priced.

Yelp
Great vibes & drinks. Menu is really diverse. Next time I'd like to try the brunch. Staff is friendly and prices are fair for portion size. This place is open pretty late on the weekends as well.

Yelp
The snow balls were good, but the place didn't have enough lighting. We wanted to order food but we just couldn't stay, the place had flies everywhere and it was kinda of dark. It was somewhat disappointing, since me and my family planned on eating there, we just took the snowballs and left after sitting there for about 5 minutes.

Yelp
Another NOLA recommendation. Too bad I wasn't too thrilled. Apparently Sno drinks is a "thing" in New Orleans; unfortunately it resembles a slushy or a drink from BBQ's (if you're from NY, you know what I'm talking about) with the shot flute in it. The concept is very cute and the cup it comes in is cute as well. They serve food here as well, not sure how good it is though because I did not order food.
google avatar

Faye M.

Yelp
Very low key atmosphere with lighting and good drinks! They can booze up anything, you just may have to order an extra shot! Tried the snowballs and juice pouches and it was fun! Wings were great. Karaoke had everyone coming out of their shells. Fun place, just a bit small and there wasn't enough alcohol in the drinks. Bartenders were great

Yelp
My sister and I traveled two hours to visit this establishment after following them on Instagram & were very disappointed., upon entering we were not greeted and being new patrons we were unaware as to the procedure to place an order., after waiting a few mins to be served we went to the bar and were told we could get the menu from Instagram and come back to the bar to order, where as another group of people who came in after us were waited on at their table., very poor customer service.!, we waited two hours on food that was not seasoned and overpriced.! 18% gratuity and no one even spoke to us.?? We will NOT be visiting this place ever again.!!!

Yelp
Man this place is sooo good. food is great, drinks are spectacular!! and the music is a vibe if you're looking for a good turn up bar/restaurant!!

Yelp
Im over here dry mouth been here 30mintues paid $15 and no drink yet like i dont get it Wanted to try this new spot. When we walked in the scenery is pretty cool (selfie worthy if your into that) we ordered our food and drinks around 8:55. We sat down. I had to remind the cashier that my friend and I ordered drinks. She goes to fix my drink but is interrupted by good conversation from her friends. I got my drink at 9:27pm. As for my friend, she told her she was coming back to make it and the cashier disappeared. It's 9:37 and my friend still has no drink at this point we are asking for our food to go. I asked for condiments on my "Who Dat hot sausage " i only got one. Was never offer and others , I had to ask again....and she walked away (a different cashier) and hasn't been back since. It has potential but definitely needs improvement.

Yelp
I just love absolutely everything about this place. If you follow the owner on Instagram you got to see her build this place from the ground up. All her DIY decorations on the chairs and the lights and the walls give it such a cool, funky vibe. From the second you walk in, they have the music playing and the employees behind the counter slingin snowballs are dancing. It's just such a fun place. You might be waiting in line for a little while because it's not super fast, understandably because designer snowballs are a craft and what you're served at the end is definitely a work of art. You can mix however many flavors you want and anyone over 21 gets a free shot of alcohol in a little plastic bottle turned upside down in the top of their snowball!! Plus they have so many topping options and you get this nice color changing Nola Sips cup! And of course the highlight for me was the photo-op she's crafted (see pic of me and my friend in the box with streamer background). It's just such a colorful, happy, delicious place and I will definitely be returning many times.

Rhonda G.

Yelp
Who can go wrong with adult snowballs!? The menu was a little short, but it was most likely due to the business they had this earlier this weekend. The atmosphere is festive, and the burger was good. Ask for Bradley cuz he's the bomb!

Melissa M.

Yelp
Over priced for what it is. Not very good ice for a snowball. $75 for 2 snowballs nachos a burger and a bottle of water. I got charged $6 for a water listed as a medium snowball. Smh... Also 18% gratuity automatically added on. They got my money that time but I won't be back to do it again.

Jo M.

Yelp
I heard about this paces from a friend it was hard to catch her open the few days we were in town, but when we finally got to catch her it was a good vibe the food was amazing I had the lamp chops and mashed potatoes the owner greeted us and had great conversation I only gave 4 stars due to the 18% gratuity it leaves no room to give your own tip in my opinion.... But I would definitely recommend if you're in town

Cherie D.

Yelp
Aaayyyyyee!!! NOLA SIPS Snobar is a whole vibe! From the decor, the music and best of all the drinks!! I love drinks and I love snowballs even more so what better way to have my way than to be here?!?!!

Annie B.

Yelp
Literally we were the first people at the place over charge service was the worst the server was very inattentive it wasn't busy at all, smh I gave y'all a try food good bur service horrible!!!!!!

A M.

Yelp
It was busy the evening I went to the establishment, however, I did find a parking spot on the corner by the restraunt, which was lucky for how busy it gets in the city.. the nachos was very good and I met with the owner that night and she was very nice & helpful when it came to getting us taking care of.

Ayanna G.

Yelp
Food took way too long ! We arrived at 6:30 pm food didn't come out until 9pm on the bright side we had a nice server and great drink and hookah !
