Scandinavia: The New Face of the European Summer Holiday

Visited as part of a guided tour in Alingsås, this bakery served cinnamon or cardamom buns that became my favourite of the fika treats. Experienced in the context of Sweden’s ritualised coffee-and-cake breaks, the stop at Nolbygårds Bakery was an essential, sugary highlight for cake fans. - Diana Jarvis

Fun and friendly coffeehouse with homemade food and bakery. Located in outskirts of Alingsås you will find this bakery. Place your order, sit down and just enjoy time and money well spent.✨🍰

We visited Alingsås because it's famous for being "the fika town". For this reason we decided to visit three different spots during the day. The baked goods were by far the best in this place. We got about 2:30 and the had very limited options, so my advice is getting early to have more options. I highly recommend this lovely spot.

Such a cozy, creatively decorated cafe with delicious baked good and sandwiches. In fact, it’s more than a cafe because you have such an amazing garden outside too. Highly recommend!

Soup was really good, other baked goods looked amazing and kardemomsnurra was delicious. Lovely garden to sit outside and cute interior if the weather doesn't let you sit outside.

Authentic cafe with beautiful garden but I decided not to eat the baked goods. They were all covered in bees and they were also floating around dead in the liquids. Not to mention, the goods were not covered and people were walking around coughing while picking their food which was not covered by anything. Not appetizing during Covid times… They should be individually wrapped or served by staff. However, staff was very friendly.

Very good cafe for lunch. Specialty is soup buffet, sourdough bread and baked deserts from own bakery using ecological ingredients mostly locally produced. Inside the villa sitting places with retro design. Outside there is big garden with tables and activity areas for children

In the famous coffee place town, this one sticks out, with farm atmosphere, nice old things, and good coffee, sandwiches and cookies. Even have a train where you can enjoy your Swedish "fika".
