The best vegan chicken burger I have ever had. The Nashville hot was so good, I just had to get a second one. 🫣 I had the OG Burger the other day and it was great as well, and the wings are delicious as well!

Google
The name says it! Nom Burgers are pretty darn good. My non-vegan daughter tried the OG Asada Tots and she was amazed. They tasted delicious! The portions & the prices are great. We have to come back soon.

I’ve been here countless times and have never been disappointed. From their brunch burgers to the Nashville Hot to the Honkey Tonk— you cannot go wrong with what you order. Don’t forget the tots! There is always good music playing and colorful murals by local artists to look at adding to the fun atmosphere. Also, a restroom is located in the building next door. I highly recommend Nom Burgers whether you’re vegan curious or vegan. There’s no lack in taste 👅

Google
Amazing food! The vegan wings were sooo good! The fella taking our order was really nice and friendly. He answered any questions we had and was just all around a fun person to chat with. Their vegan ranch was hands down the best ranch I've ever had, vegan or otherwise. Really enjoyed our lunch there.

Google
Amazing vegan food! Had the nuggets and the qebbq wings and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back!

Google
The Philly steak and sweet potatoes were good, but pricy! But if you want to support food truck people, I’d say why not? Everything is vegan btw.

Daniel

Google
the nashville hot chicken was very tasty! it was on the expensive side but after eating it i can understand why. the Tamale was more reasonably priced. I was pleased with the speed of service.

Google
Vegan NOM Burgers is our favorite vegan restaurant/food truck out of any vegan restaurant we’ve been to in the United States. And we’ve been to almost all of them coast to coast! Their chicken wings are out of this world delicious! Hands-down, the Best!!! And I love their Wednesday Special for $1.50 a wing, such a great deal! ❤️ All the employees are super sweet there! But Connor is our favorite! And he makes the best wings! Thanks Connor! ❤️

Yelp
I went here with my vegan and non vegan friend and we went crazy with ordering!! We tried two different flavors of vegan chicken wings. Including the Korean barbecue and flaming hot Cheetos. We also got the Asada fries. The vegan chicken wings were so impressive even my non-vegan friend was surprised! They come with a little skewer inside to be the 'bone' and the exterior of the wing is crispy just like a real one would be. I'm not sure what they use to make it crispy like that, but it tastes like it could be crispy chicken skin! Both wings were good, however I personally felt that the barbecue Korean ones were better. The flaming hot Cheeto wings were too spicy for me and I did not feel like they tasted like the original flaming hot Cheetos. Nonetheless, theywe're still good. Asada fries were also very tasty. They were sprinkled with meat, cheese, jalapeños, and pico de gallo. My non vegan friend couldn't stop eating it! All in all, we will definitely be visiting this place again because there are so many great options and they all taste so good !!

Yelp
Was craving burgers but didn't want to feel heavy, so we decided for vegan burgers. They were so delicious and hit the spot! We ordered the OG burger with 1 patty and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, with a side of tots we shared. I was impressed on how the flavors came together on the impossible burger. Loved the veggies that came on it and tots to finish it off. If you're looking for a vegan option, I'd definitely recommend this food truck! Right next door are vegan options too. All around cool spot to hang and bring your family and friends.

Yelp
Food: 8.5/10, Ambience: 10/10, Service: 10/10 Nom Burgers is located in a Vegan Food Park, which is a win within itself. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was very good. The loaded tots were also good but very very saucy so if that isn't your thing, consider asking for less sauce or getting something else. Overall, still a very good experience!

Yelp
Omg! This place is amazing! So we were in Austin doing some shopping and did a little search on Yelp for a bite to eat. This place popped up and thought we'd give it a try! I'm so glad we stopped in. We ordered an OG burger, fries, and asada tots. Everything was amazing! There wasn't a single bite we didn't enjoy. Definitely a place worth stopping at. It did take about 20 minutes to get our food but it was worth the wait. I found my new favorite spot when o come to Austin. Thanks Yelp for another wonderful suggestion.

Yelp
I can't speak to the service or the location - a friend picked up burgers from here while we were having a late-night work party. We had a few folks in the group with food allergies and preferences and this seemed to give us a good way to ensure that we weren't getting things that would be an issue for someone in the group. I'm not vegan, nor am I a vegetarian and this was an excellent burger experience - the bacon was the giveaway, someone else mentioned too nutty and too smoky and I agree on both counts. However, pulling the bacon off made my jalapeño-laden burger go from good to excellent. If you're looking for a solid crowd-pleasing option with a group of folks who need different things, this is a good option. If you just want a good vegan burger, I would imagine this is pretty good. If you just want a burger and you're in the right place at the right time, give this one a shot - don't let the vegan qualities scare you away. You might want to skip the bacon, though.

Yasmeen P.

Yelp
worst vegan burger I've ever had! I wanted to like this place so bad because of the good reviews but the burger was soggy and felt like the patty wasn't cooked all the way. When we got there the man and the window had a bad attitude and seemed like he didn't want to be there. I love vegan food but this was just not it save your money!!

Yelp
I'm obsessed with their brunch burger! It's probably my favorite vegan burger in Austin right now. Ive been going here for years and they always have great service. Highly recommend!

Joey P.

Yelp
This place is really fun. We had the loaded tots with the burger, cheese, jalapenos. It was amazing. Even though it was an appetizer, that was a great representation of what the other food may taste like. Great place to go and hang out. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.

Linda M.

Yelp
Nom Burgers has generous portions of delicious comfort food - veganized! - for a fair price. I had both the cauliflower buffalo wings and the wings with lemon, pepper garlic. I can't wait to have more!! I'll be recommending this place to all my connections - vegan or otherwise - so I can have these dishes again and try everything else on the menu. Thank you, Nom Burgers, for making the world a better place! Good luck and Best wishes!

Maeve D.

Yelp
Went to Nom Burgers and got the best vegan and gluten free breakfast sandwich! Never have I gotten a gluten free burger/sandwich that was bigger than my partners non-gluten free one until today! He also said if no one said anything he wouldn't have realized it was not beef!

Jason H.

Yelp
Hod the double og burger and it was absolutely amazing. I'm not a vegan, but it was still one of the best burgers I've had in long time the sweet potato fries were also really good. They are super friendly and prices aren't too bad either.

Yelp
Best vegan burger I've ever had! I can't say how much I enjoyed my experience. They are located in a small vegan food truck park with super chill vibes. I ordered their standard burger but substituted the regular bun for their pretzel bun....game changer!! Fries were nice a crisp as well. Really no complaints about this spot. PS: Free parking on the backside of the park.

Yelp
Two words: FRIED PICKLES! Seriously, go get some. Friendly dude, tasty vegan junk food. Bonus: they were playing Bjork on the speakers in the outdoor seating area. So if I could give this review 6 stars, I would.
google avatar

Jhirmeciah M.

Yelp
They service was phenomenal. The food tastes just like chicken. The was hot and good. It was outside seating. Very laid-back place.

Yelp
Wow!!! I came here for the first time in May 2021 and I have thought about these Asada fries almost too much. The amount of times I have recommended this place to people in that time frame is astronomical. Parking in East Austin is a pain but anything is worth it for this place. This is a go to if you have anyone in the group with food allergies or prefrences. I brought my Nashville friends here and even they cannot stop thinking about it! This is a must try, I alwayyysss crave this food and I always am so satisfied.
google avatar

Yelp
ERIC RECOMMENDED HIS SPECIAL CREATION TO ME FOR MY FIRST TIME EATING @ THE NOM ANNNDD IT WAS EVERYTHING I NEEDED! I wanted something super filling but "light" as far as dank vegan junk food goes, annnd the grilled chikn club w bakon lettuce tomato and house aioli on some Italian bread was perfect! I recommend the Eric Special for those who looking for something on the more fresh side of the menu! Thank you Eric

Meg U.

Yelp
I thought the burger was splay. I was super excited about the Nashville and having a strong saucy flavor but it was dry. The bun and the crunch is good but as a whole there are plenty of other vegan burgers I recommend around town. there was no ranch flavor in the Nashville; fries were good.

Yelp
HEY WHAT, how does this place only have 14 reviews so far?! I know it's vegan but come on - a burger is a burger! I ordered the OG Cheeseburger and being lactose intolerant, I usually have to prepare for it beforehand but not this time. I wish I took a photo of the burger because it came beautifully prepared, I guess I couldn't wait long enough before I stuffed it in my face. I've never had an impossible meat burger so this was new for me. I could definitely differentiate that the texture of the protein was slightly different from it's beefy counterpart but that doesn't mean it lacked flavor. Besides that, everything else on the burger tasted just as good! OH, and the fries here are cooked so perfectly, best shoestring fries I've had in a while. If you want to satisfy your burger craving but at the same time want to be healthier, I'd recommend Nom Burgers, 5/5. I'd choose this place over some other Austin burger establishments, easy.

John T.

Yelp
Had a double cheese burger from here today and some fries. You guys need to stop putting so much salt on your burgers and your fries. It was a lot of salt on the fries and Burger today. It wasn't a good meal for me tonight. I don't know if you guys got new cooks it wasn't having me rave about your burgers tonight

Yelp
Nom burger is a must visit. The staff is friendly, respectful and accepting. The portion sizes are large and à la carte. If you order any burger with fries you wont feel disappointed or hungry for a while. Nom has a lot of additional toppings you can add if thats your thing. They can get really busy so order/plan ahead when coming here. However, if you order at the truck you wont have to wait long. They very efficient and fast. I have eaten here several times and brought friends here. I would recommend Nom burger to everyone. There are benched and table for seating. There are covered and uncovered areas for eating.

Yelp
What the actual fork. Why aren't people falling all over themselves to hype up Nom Burgers? Are they cursed to live in the shadow of the original Vegan Nom taco truck, or are we just trying to keep it a secret? Well, the cat's out of the bag (because who keeps a cat in a bag, for real) because these are the best burgers in town. Be it beefy or birdie, each meatless filling comes flanked by thick, soft pretzel buns. These sandwiches are fully stacked, spot-on vegan versions of all your comfort food cravings. Juicy, messy, and just the right kind of greasy, no reluctant omnivore could call this rabbit food. They encourage friendship (or gluttony) with their everyday 2 for $20 deal. That's two burgers and two sides of fries for a double sawbuck. Plus, you've be wise to enjoy your meal in the comfortable outdoor dining space because beer is FREE, all day! So, who wants to be my date next time? I can't keep eating meals for two by myself over here.

Yelp
Parking: there's big lot behind the food trucks. I've never had to worry about parking. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich - this is PHENOMENAL. The "chicken" is incredibly crispy, good firmness to the texture, and the sauces compliment the chicken well. I would say this is better than Project Pollo's chicken sandwich. Best place to get a vegan fried chicken sandwich!
google avatar

Tina N.

Yelp
In n Out lovers unite here for the delicious vegan version, I argue better! Grab an OG or Double OG cheeseburger (both are equally satisfying so it depends how hungry you are). The ratio of cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle is pretty spot on. On to the star of the show, their chicken! The Nashville Fried Chicken has a delicious and mild crispy outer layer and super moist meaty interior. Hands down best vegan chicken in Austin!

Yelp
I ordered a cheese burger and sweet potato fries, and a root beer. This is a vegan/vegetarian by the way. Burger was juicy, the cheese was melted, just a really delicious burger from a food truck. Sweet potato fries where cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dipping sauce was really good too. Defiantly worth the extra money for upgrade from regular fries. The root beer was "Frosties" which I've never had before. It was kind of flat and had a syrup kind of taste to it. Not bad, not great either. I think next time I'll go in the bar and order a drink. With that said. The food truck is parked in The Grackle's parking lot. So you can get drinks from the bar and eat outside. There are picnic tables outside with umbrellas and ashtrays, and I did see a few dog water dishes. So if it's sunny, your covered by an umbrella, if you're a smoker, please use the ashtrays, and if you are bringing your fur baby, there is water for them. Everyone in the spectrum is covered. The Parking lot is small, and of course this is down town 6th street so there is street parking if you can find it. Good luck. But maybe a half a block away there is a small parking garage. Laz Parking. It's $3.00 for 30 minutes. I was there for an hour so it was $6.00 for parking. Overall, the few times that I do dine out, I'd come back here again.

Ellen G.

Yelp
I was excited to try one of their burgers after all the flowering reviews. Imagine my surprise when I bit into a dry overly soy flavored burger. The vegan "bacon" had a bit of a nutty texture and too smokey after taste-not good. It's a hard pass for me folks. P Terry's does a better vegan burger for $5.00.
google avatar

Emma P.

Yelp
Tater tots were delicious!!! The Nashville Hot Chicken was good- not that spicy though.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
The best vegan burger I've had!! The nom sauce is SO good and I'm usually not a huge fan of burger sauces! You have to get the fried pickles, a half order was HUGE!
google avatar

Lara Renee M.

Yelp
Omg! So delicious! Impossible party with a pretzel bun are off the charts. The sweet potato fries are delicious as well.
google avatar

Kristan S.

Yelp
Our first time trying Nom Burgers. I was pleasantly surprised that in addition to being vegan, they are nut free as well. My partner and I aren't vegan, but finding vegan food that he can eat is difficult given his nut allergy. I got the cheeseburger and he got the Nashville chicken sandwich. They were out of breading, so he got it grilled and not fried. I was so impressed with the flavor and texture. It was really good and there was no odd aftertaste. I would have been fooled if someone told me it was a regular burger. The pretzel bun is an added bonus. Also you can get a free beer with your order! Sadly it was dark, so I didn't take a photo, but it looked amazing too. Minus 1 star for: - about 30 min wait for our food even though there were only 3 couples in the food park - pretzel buns were a bit burnt - were out of breading for fried chicken Will definitely come back and look forward to trying other menu items!
google avatar

Cameron N.

Yelp
I've been exploring Austin for my favorite vegan food trucks and Nom Burger is up there! I got the wings which were super flavorful. The fries were fairly meh... kinda like In and Out fries. The tots were the better choice to go!
google avatar

Carly M.

Yelp
A sister truck to Vegan Nom, this place is RAD! Had the Nashville Hot Chicken burger and it was so good after my first bite I couldn't stop to shoot a pic... the sauce could have been a bit hotter (personal preference) but DAMN were the flavors on point- and the "chicken" was super crispy! The pickles were placed in the center of the delicious bun and POPPED the flavor off again just as your buds get comfy with the taste. MmmMM! Paired with their crispy tots and a lemonade and it was juuuust right after a long day! Super kind folks working in the truck too, thanks crew.

Max H.

Yelp
Got the double OG cheeseburger and it was delicious. Wouldn't have guessed it was vegan if I didn't know any better. Tots and fried pickles were also pretty good

Gregory B.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible burger. Perfectly cooked with fresh veggies and an awesome pretzel bun.
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
I'm so glad they have a Yelp page up now. This spin off of Vegan Nom is so delicious. I always get the OG Cheeseburger with avocado added because I'm a good millennial. They also have tater tots (and fries, fried pickles, and the other standard burger joint fare), and I love the tots because tots are amazing! I brought some vegan friends (we send out a high frequency sound wave so we can find one another since no one else wants to be our friend) here when they were in town, and they loved it, too. They said the brisket was good, but you could tell it wasn't the real deal. Otherwise, though, you would never guess that you were eating vegan food. They use Impossible burgers, and I think that plays a big role. When my parents eventually visit me in Texas, I'll get them burgers from here and I'll let you know if they could tell there was difference.
google avatar

Baneen N.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time last night and LOVED the burgers! I got the Birdie Sanders VFC, and my husband got the OG cheeseburger. Both were delicious! Usually, I'm wary of the texture of vegan chicken, but this one was good! Not too mushy, sort of had the texture of chicken. The fries were good too: thin, a good mix of crispy and soft. The only thing we didn't love were the queso asada tots. There wasn't enough queso, and you couldn't really taste the chipotle sauce. Online, the menu originally said fries, which seems like a better medium for this dish. With the tots, the tots would break apart, and you couldn't really get topping + tot in the same bite.
google avatar

Cliff J.

Yelp
The food is absolutely disgusting. Uber eats didn't mention this is all vegan so that was an unwelcome surprise. Tried it and literally threw it all out. Burger... wings... ugh... awful. Couldn't even stomach this processed junk.
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
OG cheeseburger with the works is delicious. Love their fries too. Just ate the birdie sanders chicken burger tonight. Now that is something you must try! It was huge. Very tasty and filling. Perfect amount of everything in it. I love their pretzel buns too.. really made my day. Thanks for the great food people.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing burger. Nice little Food truck in east Austin. Flavorful and unique, veggie style. Will be here more often in the future.
google avatar

Sunny T.

Yelp
I tried this place with my friends in January and I highly recommend it! The food was great the service was great, and from what I could tell all safety protocols were followed.

Yelp
the staff is amazing i always look forward to seeing them. the food is pretty good. however that price point is honestly what drives me away sadly. i cannot justify a $9-$10 burger PLUS having to tip. how ab pay your workers a living wage so we don't have to tip AND buy your expensive food.

Rocky F.

Yelp
Food is good, somewhat overpriced. But the other day I went with my girlfriend, and a maskless cashier with dreds was making her feel particularly uncomfortable. We noticed him hitting on other girls as they were in line, though they didn't seem to mind that much. My girlfriend was extremely uncomfortable however with the hungry eyes he was giving her. Enough to make her question if she even wanted to come back. We usually love this place, but the addition of this guy to the staff is making us hesitant to keep giving them our money. Just please tell your employees to not be so forward and flirty with everyone that comes to the stand

Judge R.

Yelp
We've had a good nom burger experience but this was a bad one. They had nothing we wanted, and when we got two burgers they did have, they was lackluster and cold. Completely different from the first time we had nom burger.

Max K.

Yelp
Amazing hot "chicken" and their burgers are incredible. The pretzel bun seals the deal!

Robert R.

Yelp
When we asked we were told that the food was not spicy. However, when it was served it had hot sauce slathered all over the bun. Consequently we did not enjoy the meal at all.
