Sean Brock Is Building a World Class Team at Nashville Flagship Restaurant Audrey | Eater Nashville

"I learned that Jason White spent two and a half years on the research, development and fermentation team at Noma (the world-renowned two-Michelin-star restaurant run by René Redzepi), working in the Noma 2.0 lab on the culinary direction of five seasonal menus and bringing that lab-based approach to his role at Audrey." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Hidden gem. Whenever I’m up in the is area, stopping at Noma is a priority. Carol and Bill are amazing artists and craftspeople. My friends and I always show off our newest Carol clothes to each other because we love her stuff so much. If you go into the store for the first time, take a minute to look at everything… Carol’s artistic style with her clothes may take a minute to understand but once you really see it for what it is, you can’t stop seeing it as amazing art.

This was the best shop ever! Got our daughter the best piece of clothing (hand dyed) ever!!!! The shop owner was super kind and helped us find something neat within our price range to remember our trip by! Even though we didn’t spend a lot he still treated us with such kindness! A must stop if you are passing by

Yelp
I am not entirely sure how long this store has been in Gualala, but my husband's family has been going to Gualala for 45+ years, as soon as this store opened, my Mother-in-Law started her collection of clothing! When my husband brought me there 13 years ago, I too fell in love. The mix of unique clothing and insanely beautiful glassware/art pieces - just awesome. We have 4 beautiful bowls with are works of art (upcycled materials no less)! The clothing is unique boutique style and she might not have a ton of sizes at any given time, but most of the clothing has a very flowy feel, so you can check out sizes as she does have a dressing room! Carole is truly wonderful and so helpful - she gift wrapped our most recent purchases with the most lovely bows and care, we feel so lucky they are still there and look forward to our next visits! There's a lovely selection of jewelry, scarves, lots of different bowls and platters and cups - bring your Christmas shopping list for unique, incredibly beautiful works of art that are affordable and really high quality!

Yelp
Can't believe Bill & Carole have been going strong in this little quaint town of Gualala for 35 years! He is always present in store when we visit and even comes out to the car to greet my wife. Their craftsmanship and tremendous variety for a quaint area is unlimited. They take passion in their work and their store. Anytime driving through Gualala (Thursday-Sunday 11-4 or call for appointment), you must stop. Pick up a gift. Pick up two. Pick up many. We have such a collection over the years and will continue to add to it each and every time we stop. All hand made nothing store bought all local potters glass work clothing and more.

Yelp
This business has beautiful things. We have mugs from a few years ago we use every day. The owner is very responsive and even agreed to sending us two more mugs Dispute storms and power outages! We appreciate her help with broken mug replacements. (Took pic of mug we got in 2020 complete with tea stains to prove is gets lots of use!)

Yelp
Wonderful artistic clothing and gifts. Handmade unique T-shirts, pillows, jewelry, etc. Recycled glass serving pieces and marvelous sculptures by the husband. Husband and wife owners are very talented. And so very nice and helpful to deal wiith. There are other clothing, jewelry and items for the home, or for gifts, as well. Don't miss this jewel of a store.

Yelp
I walked into the shop on a Thursday looked around at some items, let it stew a little in my brain. And on Saturday before I left the area, drove back to purchase a recycled glass cup that is the most lovely lavender purple color. Found out it's dishwasher safe, yay! It was pricey at $28 each, so I was only able to walk away with one cup, which is okay, in my household, we kind of eclectic.

Yelp
This is a small gallery/gift shop showcasing products from local artists and craftspeople. Clothing, accessories, affordable jewelry, bowls both functional and decorative, and a LOT of products made from recycled glass, including old traffic lights! It's hard for me to get too excited about this place because the great majority of the stuff in here is not my style. I mean, what is a fairly young man going to do with a funky knit scarf that looks like it belongs around the neck of an aging female painter or cute, funky jewelry that belongs on a schoolgirl or a woman trying to recapture her teen years? Still, there are great finds and beautiful gift items for the people in your life who DO mesh with the style of this place, and everything here is beautifully created/constructed. I bought five gorgeous, blue water glasses for my mother here once and she refused to use them for the first year she owned them because they were "too beautiful." Now they get chucked into the dishwasher with everything else, but with their textured, buttery finish (similar to beaten copper) they remain the crown jewels of her everyday tableware.

Yelp
Egghhhhh wish I had taken pictures of this shop next to Surf Market on the main drag (Hway 1) in Gualala! Didn't know there was no content on Yelp because there's no network out there! The shop caught my eye from BBQ stand in front of Surfs' and I had a great time looking around, chatting with the proprietress, and enjoying the spectacular view of the ocean just behind her shop. A lot of North Coast art can be cool and funky but sometimes doesn't fit my taste- and sure, not everything here did, but I definitely found the more simple, clean, contemporary designs of the ceramics, earrings, and dishware, with an emphasis on recycled- my style. Also, the prices were reasonable for original framed art and handmade clothing, dishes, jewelry, etc. She has some other nice clothing mixed in but mainly it's a gallery.

Yelp
Everything in the store is just gorgeous, glass art, jewelry, textiles, ceramics. Very, very nice artist-proprietor as well.

Yelp
The fact that James L can't get excited about this wonderful treasure trove is his loss. Note to James L -- What's available is this world is not all about you and your apparently underdeveloped taste. Your illogical assumptions about the type of people who buy or wear these items speaks to a "fairly young man" who still has a lot to learn. The owners -- who are lovely people -- seek out unique, affordable items for their store. They both also offer their own distinctive creations at Noma. I have been coming to this store for years, and will make the drive from Sonoma County just for a visit. I've enjoyed wonderful chats with the owners and Jan, who also works there. In fact, it's been a little while, and I feel the urge for a Noma fix, possibly this weekend!

Yelp
This store is awesome. I wandered in when I spotted a unique and colorful top in the window. Turns out the proprietress paints and dyes the selection of tops featured in her store. In addition to other clothing, she also carries gorgeous ceramics, glassware, table runners, etc. I could have very easily spent thousands in her store. Not because the prices were high, but rather because I loved most of what I saw. I'm not much of a shopper so was surprised and impressed with the selection at Noma!
