"This restaurant, opened in the middle of the Médoc region by a local young couple, is a pleasant surprise. The chef serves up French cuisine with exotic touches, using local produce as much as possible: the results are tasty. Pleasant decor and a friendly welcome." - Michelin Inspector

We had dinner with family. The atmosphere and the service were good, but I can't say the same for the food. We had steak and stuffed peppers. The quality of the steak was bad. I had a hard time slicing. We couldn't eat all the meat. Stuffed pepper was ok, but it was full of cheese. It felt like eating a plate of cheese with pepper. Overall, we didn't have a good experience.

Bordeaux has lots of restaurants but Nomad is one that I love coming back to. The menu changes seasonally and has interesting and inventive choices. It’s also one of the few that systematically has interesting and substantial veggie options, which is not so easy to find in the city! We visited yesterday and were delighted to have had another great experience there.

The restaurant was fully booked, but they managed to squeeze us in. Food came quite quick and it was delicious. I would recommend choosing the vitello tonnato for starter and chicken skewers! Cannot go wrong. The staff were very friendly, definitely recommend!

Overall, pretty nice little sticks place. Charming references to Mediterranean, Greek and Turkish in the food and the decor. To start we had ricotta sticks, which were a nice combination of the flakey outside, and the cheese filling. The meatballs (poulpettes) were a hit with everyone in out table - our favorite plate from the dinner. The burrata with local fruits was also creamy and fresh! For the main dishes, we tried the canard (duck), the clam pasta and the fish. The fish as a bit underwhelming of flavor. The duck could have also used a little bit more salt, but the risotto and the tomato paste that accompanied the duck... So delicious!! overall, great place to try to new combination of flavors with fresh ingredients all sourced locally.

Small portions, good quality, good vegetarian options. Fried feta comes with tangy blueberry sauce that creates a sweet / salty journey of flavors. Roasted cauliflower comes with Smokey and spicy middle eastern sauces. The fish of the day was a Mediterranean sea bass which was served with haricot bean puree, peas and a lemon sauce. It's a fresh and fine tasting fish but the tiny fillet on my plate was disappointing. It's a trendy and chic place with great vibe and service... Just not a good choice if you're hungry or on a budget!

Nomad is an adorable restaurant on a small side street in Bordeaux It's a very lively neighborhood, so you will have a lot of restaurants and bars around you, which creates a nice vibe for dinner on the terasse. We ordered some octopus carpaccio and a sort of fried dough filled cream and a mint dip. As a main dish, I ordered duck, which was lovely as well. The menu was small, but very inviting as it's fairly easy to find a vegetarian dish as well. Ideal for a casual Sommer night dinner with friends with a great athomosphere around. Service was very friendly as well.

Cute restaurant with high potential however quite disappointing flavours. The feta starter was great, we also had the octopus which was quite bland & chewy. For mains the selection was limited but unfortunately this doesn’t mean they make few plates to perfection. The fish and the pork were a disappointment with both lacking seasoning and on the overcooked side. Dessert although it sounded great it was indifferent.
