"Modern Moroccan for Discerning Foodies A stalwart on the medina dining scene for several years now, Nomad has fabulous views of bustling Place des Épices and takes a bold, creative approach to Moroccan dining. The yellow-and-black '60s-inspired space has several dining areas and rooftop terraces, which make lingering over lunch or dinner a joy; the food is a lighter, brighter take on local cooking that plays with traditional flavors and elevates them into something fresh and exciting. To start, try their delicately spiced Moroccan gazpacho or a shaved cauliflower and fennel salad scattered with toasted almonds; perhaps followed by a hearty plate of roasted bone marrow scattered with preserved lemons, cumin, and mint; then finishing with a hibiscus-infused panna cotta. Alcohol isn't served here, but with food this enticing, you won’t miss it."

The 22 Best Restaurants in Marrakech, Morocco - Eater

"Nomad has become a modern classic since opening in 2014. Spread over several floors, with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, the restaurant offers a broad Mediterranean menu punctuated with Moroccan flavors. The sardine tart and vegetarian pastilla (pastry stuffed with goat cheese, tomato confit, and seasonal vegetables) present Moroccan flavors in a new light. Dishes like grilled lamb chops and flourless orange cardamom ginger cake are a welcome treat for gluten-free visitors as well. Nomad’s popularity may be its greatest drawback, though, since service can feel mechanical and reservations are absolutely necessary. [$ - $$]" - Amanda Ponzio-Mouttaki

We came back for a second time after our trip in November last year. The food was again perfect: a delicious blend of Moroccan flavours with a modern twist. The rooftop views and the terrace decor are stunning too. We remembered Mariam from our last visit, she was very professional and friendly and both her and Tariq made us feel very welcome and the kids comfortable for their first visit. We highly recommend!

Went here with a group had to wait a short period before being seated as was busy. The atmosphere was nice, though it did get a bit breezy, staff were quick to put up covers, which was appreciated. The food was only okay overall, the prawns stood out being tasty. Prices felt a bit high but depending on what you're after, the overall experience was pleasant.

Average food, not the freshest, unfortunately the rocket leaves served with the fritters were slimy and old so we didn’t eat them. But overall flavours were good. Nice atmosphere and views. Not really any vegetarian options for mains, a few for entrees though.

The meal was average. But if you charge 9% service fee, please make sure your staff actually provides service. We waited 10 minutes for menus in a half-empty restaurant, which can sometimes happen. But then another 15 minutes passed before our waiter showed up. He just said “Good evening” and immediately turned to another table without any apology. After a short chat with them, he came back to us, again without excuse. Interestingly, the other table, seated at the same time as us, already had starters while we were still waiting for drinks. At the end, when my wife asked the manager why a 9% service charge is added automatically, she suddenly “forgot” how to speak English, although she had no problem with it earlier in the evening. Tourist trap, better avoid. Only one excellent thing was Agadir Sardine Tart.

We went for dinner without a reservation and were lucky to get a beautiful table on the rooftop. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. While the prices are clearly higher than in most places around the city, this is a more upscale restaurant — and it’s absolutely worth it. Everything we tried was delicious, but special mention goes to the saffron date cake for dessert — a true masterpiece. Honestly, it should be mandatory to try it!

Visited by a friend's recommendation, but was below expectation. Order 2 foods... 1) I ordered lamb chops in medium, but they came out as well-done. But the mashed potatoes had a good sauce. 2) Pastella just didn't taste good. 3) The service wasn't that good, but it was a little funny that 9% of the service was attached. 4) Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Appogato is... The amount is small for the price, and I don't think I cared about the decoration at all. Not recommended.. It may be my personal preference, but lamb chops are recommended for the night market food I ate yesterday...

The restaurant is a minimalist rooftop spot right in the heart of the medina. The décor is simple, with earthy tones and clean lines. The rooftop offers a lovely open-air setting with great views of the medina. The dishes we ordered were truly tasty and well-prepared, though the portions leaned on the smaller side, especially considering the pricing. The vibe here is undeniably touristic you’ll find yourself surrounded mostly by visitors rather than locals, so it feels more like an international hangout than an authentic Moroccan eatery. The service was excellent the stuff were attentive, friendly and pro.

I wanted to make sure we were able to eat here during our 3 night stay in Marrakech. We came here for lunch during our day in the souks. It was a hot day, so we were for sure hangry. Since the restaurant is within the souks, with some signage to the restaurant, we still found it difficult to find, but perhaps because we were “hangry.” The food was ok, but we were happy that we were able to get grilled lamb chops. We had a light lunch. I had higher expectations from all the reviews I’ve seen in TikTok and google. We did stay indoors and didn’t get to sit outdoors.
