The Best Pizza Places In New Jersey - New York - The Infatuation

"There are a few things New Jersey has in relatively short supply, like major sports teams, transparent politicians, and great Neapolitan-style pizza. One noteworthy exception to the latter is Nomad Pizza. What started as a catering operation out of a restored 1949 REO Speedwagon has expanded to include two full-time spots in Jersey and one in Philly. The pies at the original location in Hopewell are essentially personal pies, but while each slice only takes about four bites to get through, every bite offers a completely different experience. The weight of oil and cheese makes the paper-thin tip taste like bread that’s been luxuriating in rich soup, while the middle highlights the toppings, like crispy guanciale with fig jam, as well as basil and herbs from its garden outside. The best part, though, is the puffy crust, which is like a lifeguard ring of sweet and salty dough that should be thrown to the anti-artisanal pizza crowd." - matt tervooren

Love love this place. Took my daughter her before her regatta and we had the best pizza. Their Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend the Sopressata pizza. It was delicious. Also, I love the fact that it had vegan cheese for my daughter who is allergic to dairy!

This was my first time at Nomad pizza and although the pizzas tasted fine, they were warm and doughy instead of being hot with a crisp base. A pizza with a soggy soft bottom is a total no!.. We ordered the margherita with bufalo which was 7/10, shitake mushroom 5/10 and the arugula 4/10.

Google
Fig pizza was incredibly balanced, honey prosciutto was delightful on the other, both with very chewy and thin pizza dough. Appetizer was heirloom tomato bruschetta, which was a lively and refreshing experience all around

This was my first time at Nomad Pizza. I tried the shiitake mushroom and margherita pizza. The shiitake mushroom pizza was good, and there were definitely a lot of mushrooms. However, I felt like that caramelized onions were a little overpowering. The margherita pizza was good, but nothing extraordinary. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu and cannoli. The tiramisu was amazing. The cannoli was ok, but definitely overshadowed by the tiramisu. The highlight of the meal was definitely the tiramisu. However, the overall prices were expensive, and I’m not sure if the food is worth the cost.

So the dough is good. The topping is close to the style of Italy.... probably from one particular area of Italy. For sure. If you travel around Italy, they make different style from city to city. It's probably very close to Italy... May be short by very little, but good enough. You pay slightly more for the average pizza.... it is indeed a nice place. Gogogogogogogogo!

Came here for a graduation party today and the food / service was amazing. The bread and salad appetizers were great as well as the pizza itself. Highly recommend the mushroom.

Google
We ordered two pizzas, and those are great! I love the Italian style of pizza, so it’s worth it. But not the best pizza in the plant tbh as someone who’ve been Italy. But overall great

Google
I ordered the margarita pie. It was not a meat option but I requested meatball on the pie. The pie had the perfect balance of cheese sauce and meatball. It was excellent! I polished the whole thing off which is very uncharacteristic of me. The draft sodas are a nice touch. The root beer was solid! There was a wine list on the menu but I did not see anything about beer. I was “still on the clock” so to speak so I did not inquire about it. It has a nice atmosphere and plenty of real estate. So unless you're going at a peak time you should not have a problem finding a table. The pie and soda came to $25.59 before tip which in today's market is extremely affordable in my opinion. From what I can tell, they didn't charge the additional 3+% that most places are charging when you use a credit card. I was extremely happy with my meal and I look forward to returning again! It was a wonderful experience.

Yelp
The guanciale and tartufo were excellent, but the spicy sausage was disappointing. It seemed like it was mostly onions on top of the pie, with a sprinkle of sausage. Would've preferred doubling on the tartufo. In general the slices had poorly distributed toppings so some had max toppings, while others were basically plain.

Yelp
I think that Nomad is one of those places that you either love, or don't. Their service is friendly, the atmosphere, while a little loud, is what I'd expect to see in a more modern version of a pizza joint. The real issue comes down to whether or not you like the type of pizza that they serve. Here's the deal: If you like a soft, chewy dough, then you're probably going to be happy here. If you're a fan of thin crusts that have a crust to them, then you're probably not going to by happy with your pie. I'm a thin crust guy, and to by up-front and honest, I'll take a Trenton style Tomato Pie over a pizza any day of the week. I'd ordered the Guanciale pizza and shared my wife's Arugula and Prosciutto pie. The Guanciale pie, seemed a little light in the main ingredient to me. There was guanciale on there, but it seemed more an added ingredient than the main attraction. I had pieces of the pie that had jam with no guanciale, which seemed to defeat the entire purpose of the combination. The Arugula pie was good, but five slices of prosciutto seems a small amount for the most expensive pie on the menu. I appreciate the place helping me try to keep my cholesterol down, but I expected a little more of those ingredients on my pies. They weren't bad, but they weren't what I'd hoped. Having a soft, breadlike texture didn't help. The salads were good, and didn't seem overpriced. I liked the arugula salad the best--it was simple and to the point. My philosophy on salads is that if the leafy greens are good enough, then you don't need to waste my time with a bunch of toppings. To that end, the Greek salad was a little busy, but was still good. The others at my table seemed to enjoy the Caesar salad, but to me Caesar salad needs its own Casca and Brutus to put an end to its existence--however, the others at the table, as mentioned before, seemed happy with Ceasar, so I kept my dagger sheathed. The meatball appetizer surprised me with its light texture and flavor, and it was definitely something I'd order again. As I mentioned, the service for our table was friendly, although it took a long time for our drink orders to be delivered. I like it that they had some interesting soda options instead of being held hostage to the usual Pepsi/Coke choices. All in all, our meal was fine, but the pizza is just not my type, and I was underwhelmed by the ones I'd ordered.

Yelp
Service was great. The restaurant was flooded with children the night we went (seemed like some PTA night out or something) and so naturally, the restaurant was louder than I'd think is normal. We asked our server to move us to another table that was farther from the children and he nicely helped us with the request. We order 2 pizzas, the Guanciale and the Hot Soppressata. We enjoyed both but liked the Hot Soppressata a bit more. The tomato sauce is light and the spice from the meat is a perfect cut/pairing with the light sauce. We also loved the sweet fig jam on the Guanciale and thought it was great with the salty mozzarella. The dough is sooo fluffy and perfectly bouncy. Would definitely love to come back the next time I'm in Princeton again!

Yelp
We love Nomad Pizza! Recently I asked my family to forgo the usual stuffy fine dining and opted for the elevated pizza from Nomad for my 63rd birthday. Our server was so patient with us and explained the dishes beautifully. The citrus salad and warm root vegetable salads were both very good. All of the pizzas came out lovely as usual. If you're in the mood for casual family friendly yet unique fare, come to Nomad Pizza. I highly recommend!

Yelp
We, a group of about 15 people, went there for a friend's birthday in March, 2024. Parking is plentiful and we had a reservation---so we did not have to wait. We ordered several pizzas. The ambiance is good and the service is nice. The menu is fascinating and their pizzas are somewhat unique. Some of us are vegetarians and they had plenty of vegetarian options. They have gluten-free options though we did not order any such. We liked the taste of the pizzas that we ordered. Kids were very happy. Would happily go there again.

Yelp
Pizza was great and service was very good. Ambiance was good we went for lunch and enjoyed it very much.

Yelp
Great pizza, good service, a little loud sometimes but nice space for a big group. Always enjoy coming here for hot soppresseta and tartufo

Yelp
This is really good place for pizza. We got their sweet and spicy and it was so good. The flavors work so well. The magherita was also very good. Our waitress was nice and we were served quick with our pizzas. The patio looked really nice for a warmer day, though they did have heaters around.

Yelp
Well I have to say strongly recommend you go to the farm market instead of their store. We had the pizza at the farm market when they had booth there. It's so delicious and staff was very friendly. Then we tried their restaurant and felt they are totally different. Don't know why.

Yelp
The best pizza in Princeton by far. Apparently it's inspired by Naples? I've only heard of the one in Florida but this sure beats any pizza they have down there. Don't get it wrong, this is no New York Pizza nonsense, this is the real stuff that will flop right into your mouth and bring you to the gates of heaven. The dough is as soft as Bill Clinton's hand (I have had this fact verified by an Italian teacher who once SHOOK Bill Clinton's hand) and has beautiful leoparding from the wood-fired oven. The size of the pizzas is odd, slightly too larger for one person's meal but too small to share. Of course, I find no issue with this, as I have no option but to enjoy a whole pizza while visiting. The flavors of the pizzas are very diverse and delicious, blending together tastes of sweet, savory, and sour into one 14 inch round of happiness. High key low key hot take: the vegetarian options are best, as the quality of the ingredients they use is very high and the blistered vegetables marry with the dough much nicer. I have not yet sampled any of the salads or appetizers, but they looked quite divine, especially the fresh vegetables paired with burrata. Many a Princeton student are familiar with the Nomad Pizza truck, the impressive oven on wheels that turns any lame undergraduate social event into a pizza party to remember. Most recently, I immorally cut a line of over fifty students at the end of year celebration to get myself a slice of Nomad, but hey, its a dog eat dog (eat pizza) world out there. However, many students will go their time in Princeton without visiting the brick and mortar location and there is something to be rued in that. The setting is nice and open, with modern lighting and spacious outdoor seating. It can get rather loud in there, so make sure to bring large enough of a party for yourself so that you can drown out the noise yourself. I would also advise you bring your own water bottles. Following some hip trend that regretfully exists, they serve you water in cups the size of an applesauce cup and only leave a small vase for an entire table of six to share. H2O? H2no :( This would not be an issue except for the fact I have always received slow service here. The employees infrequently come to check on you, and on multiple occasions now I have had my order in my head for ten minutes before the lady in the hat came over to take my order, leading to the dreaded "do I really want the Spicy Sausage or the Sassy Soppressata" stalemate of indecision. Additionally, one poor girl at the register once nearly got yelled at by a customer because she couldn't count change, I'll let the reader decide who they think is at fault. My final suggestion: come in with a large party if you want to enjoy your in-house dining experience. If you're flying solo, stick to carry out and eat it in the Princeton Shopping Center on the wooden picnic tables by Chopt, killer sunset vibes yo. The pizza itself gets ten stars. All beings, from dog to human, toddler to geriatric, can find bliss in a pizza from Nomad. I dare say, even Italians may just be impressed. However, the service gets a two, and that is why I meet in the middle with a resounding four stars for this gem of an establishment.

Yelp
We've been coming to this place for years. We like the food but the service this time was lacking. Every time I wanted something I had to go up and find a server. I could see them from our table and they were all on their phones or talking to each other. It was extremely frustrating. When I left I wanted to speak to a manager but I could not see anyone around who seemed to be a manager, or who even seemed to care if I needed help. Very disappointing. I will think twice before going back.

Yelp
This was a fun, casual spot for pizza. The pizza was great, but the music was so loud that my friend and I had to shout to talk to each other. Overall, I'd recommend!

Yelp
Nomad's pricing over the years has not changed too drastically which is always a plus. I haven't been to Nomad Pizza in a long time until recently. I believe the pizza there is decently good and I would generally advise not getting the Margherita pizza. I was told by my friends that I also went with that the sauce on it was a bit too salty . I will say Nomad does a stellar job with any pizza with a lot of garlic on it. The service is as expected. The pizzas were delivered in a timely manner and we had plenty of water for the table! Ambiance wise, nomad is cute, but their outdoor / not outdoor area is personally not my favorite area. The floor of that area was wet from the rain (not sure when they put the cover up) but overall it was still cute. If possible, I would in fact sit somewhere inside. Overall great. A little pricey but nothing unexpected. The specials are good. Skip the margherita pizza. Cheers! I will be back

Yelp
New go-to pizza spot in Princeton! Service was fast and food prices are very affordable.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service. Parking can be a little frustrating since it's a strip mall with a supermarket and popular bakery nearby. Good size on the inside but gets busy fast. It was packed for a Thursday. Pricy. Pizzas range $19-$22 and wines were $30+ for the bottle. Everything was good. Bruschetta was a small portion. The arugula salad was great. The margherita was good but pretty plain. It didn't have enough basil on it and even though the crust was burned, the bottom was floppy. The seasonal spicy peach pizza was my favorite - it was super unusual. The jalapeños, peaches and arugula all went well together. The Tartufo is good but it's an acquired taste and barely pizza. No red sauce. The egg is unusual. The truffle is balanced and not overpowering. My favorite was the Calabrian spicy one. Bathroom is small and clean. Chairs are all metal but mismatched designs and sizes which is frustrating. My purse kept falling off my chair so I hung it on my friends. My friend mentioned how his chair was really small and uncomfortable.

Yelp
Haters wake up and choose violence, I wake up and choose pizza. Nomad is some of the best you'll find.

Yelp
Solid pizza pies and a wonderful patio for outdoor dining. I like the eclectic mix of ingredients in their specialty pizzas. They give you a variety of flavors that you otherwise would not see in a pizza. The Soppressata pizza with spicy pepperoni and a hint of honey is very delicious. We added mushrooms which enhanced the flavor. The Arugula pizza comes with prosciutto and was equally tasty. Service was a little spotty as it was a busy night but the wait staff tried their best. Several pizzas arrived later in the meal and one didn't arrive at all. They apologized provided the pizza and then discounted the bill. Kudos for handling the poor service.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and order a soppressata pizza or two with one of the Italian sodas and thank me later. (No soppressata if you don't eat red meat) Nomad has my favorite pizza ever, and their ambiance is super clean and contemporary. The service is great.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday at about 5.. a nice amount of busyness.. not overwhelmingly packed, but lively enough. Had a nice mix of pop playlist lightly playing in the background... not too much where you couldn't talk or were distracted. I heard a couple faves, so I was happy lol. The ambience is I would say a bit upscale casual.. the kitchen is open, so you can witness the magic being made. Very friendly waitstaff... hello Nick! And management was just as nice... hello Shane! We were seated quickly... my friend ordered a salad with mixed greens, pomegranate, grapefruit, oranges.. with I believe feta cheese? It was nice with a light dressing. My pizza of choice which I would eat over and over again was guanciale--spinach, mozzarella, fig jam, garlic, pepper, and parmesan... it was not tomato based.. it was perfect. The brick oven gave the crust a nice char... and was perfect, not soggy at all.. a great combo of savory and sweet, just how I like it. I opted for a cappuccino to close out my meal, and it was just how I wanted it to be. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm in the area.. nice early dinner option.. and family friendly.

Georgia C.

Yelp
this past Saturday evening I ordered two pizzas one regular and one gluten free with extra mushrooms on both. What i received were two regular pizzas with few mushrooms one with no cheese. The order was entirely incorrect plus the bottom of both were completely charred and bitter. The person requiring the gluten free pizza went without. The employees were so plentiful but none were helpful. There are better pizzas and pizzerias available in the area.

Alex B.

Yelp
Went there last night with for my Birthday. There was a hair in my Blue cheese salad. The waitress really didn't seem to care at all. The bill came with the salad charge still on it, along with an additional lemon-lime we didn't order. Pizza was ok, hence the 2 stars. Asked to see a manager, was told he left so dealt with the head waitress. We probably won't be going back any time soon.

Yelp
I've had two chances to dine here the past month and had a great time, was surprised by the flavors both times. Got the spicy soppressata the first time and sausage with Calabrian chiles the next. Both great. They've been around a long time and the quality started high and has improved over time if anything. The Caesar salad has a handful of delicious white anchovies which I really love. They have wine but you can BYOB w no corkage fee. Good space for groups bc it's open and you can sit at long tables that can accommodate 12 or more easily.

Yelp
First time hitting up this spot with some family and friends this past weekend. We luckily landed a few tables for our larger group. We ordered the arugula salad, tartufo pizza and guanciale pizza (and a root beer for me lol). Salads came out pretty quickly, as well as the apps that some folks ordered as a meal. Pizzas took a little while but considering they're fresh made, pretty understandable. The salad was pretty good with a decent amount goat cheese, nuts, and a light dressing (not drowning). Both pizzas were delicious...favorite being the guanciale with the sweet and savory flavors in one. Service to clean up was pretty quick but had to deduct a star because we had to chase down someone to get a box and for the check...otherwise all else was good. Would def come back to try the other menu items.

Yelp
For a place as crowded and hectic as Nomad especially on a weeknight, I was pleased with the service and time it took to prepare our order (~20 mins). The pizza itself was delicious and filling for one person - somehow the bread portion is so soft after coming out of the oven and it really hit the spot. Waiter got lost a few times in the chaos and had to be reminded a few times to bring some items and the check, though nothing unusual for a busy place like here.

A S.

Yelp
It's a Princeton staple iykyk We always love their variety of pizzas and the flavor is on point!

Rosann D.

Yelp
Our daughter requested we go to Nomad in Princeton for her 10th birthday. We brought an ice cream cake to celebrate. We were told that we would be charged $3 cutting fee per person. Since there were 7 of us we concluded $21 would be exorbitant. We decided to have our birthday ice cream cake at home. I guess Nomad does not want birthday parties. Also make sure you really look at your check... A 20% tip was added without telling us.

Yelp
We visited Nomad on a Saturday at 5pm. That timing was perfect because it seemed like moments after we entered the relatively empty building, so did everyone else! I wish they had some kind of lobby area with enough room for people to stand while waiting to be seated. That area by the entrance doors, which is also simultaneously near the bathrooms, can get quite congested! I loved the overall casual rustic ambiance of the space and the open kitchen is pretty cool! Our waiter was super nice and the manager came by to check on us at the end of our meal, which was greatly appreciated. The food was great. We shared a salad with our pizzas. I don't remember the name of it but it had arugula, tons of citrus, pomegranate and feta. I got the Tartufo Pizza and it was delish. The perfect amount of truffle flavor. My friend got the guanciale pizza and that was also fantastic. That is a good balance of salty from the guanciale and the sweetness of the fig jam. The crust on this pizza is thin but not crispy. However, it has a delicious flavor. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stop by and/or grab some pies to go!

Ellen R.

Yelp
Nomad is literally the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I have been to Italy twice and this is better, the specials are absolutely incredible and it is the best place on earth.
google avatar

Yelp
Nomad Pizza is always such a treat, I find myself coming back here every time I'm in the area! They have delicious wood-fired pizza and casual, relaxing vibes, making it a great spot for date nights or outings with family or friends. The Guanicale pizza is my absolute fave for a slightly sweet and savory pie - the drizzle of fig jam surprisingly goes so well with the shaved guanicale. Or if you like truffle, the Tartufo pizza is definitely a winner here. Love that they have a vegan option as well, and they have different daily specials if you want to mix it up. Side note: I've attended a wedding where they had a Nomad pizza truck at the end of the night, and it was amaaaazing. So good.

Catherine B.

Yelp
Great pizza and service and ambiance, I can't find a fault after spending a great evening at this pizza restaurant. The table was wonderful as you could sit outside on a beautiful night looking at the artwork and garden. We ordered a salad that was large enough to share and also shared a delicious pizza that had some really fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. The crust is amazing!

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a weeknight. It was quite busy due to the nice weather, but it was also fast churning. The interior's got an interesting vibe to it. You get that industrial feel in the main dining room, where you can also sit right in front of all the ovens as your pizza is being made. On the other end, you can go past the garage and sit in the partially enclosed outdoor area. In hindsight, we probably would've had a good time sitting outdoors, but we were just as fine sitting in the main dining area. I knew about Nomad Pizza because my neighbor hosted a 1st birthday party and brought the truck over to serve pizzas for lunch. I was looking for some of those exact pizzas (i.e. the Trenton pizza), but I then realized that the menu given to us there was slightly tweaked and customized. There was no "trenton pizza." However, we loved the pizza Therefore, we had to look at the menu anew, which was perfectly fine. We ordered the following items: 1) Arugula Salad: This was a great choice. The pecans stood out to me. 2) Margherita Pizza: Solid pizza. It's pretty standard, but it was good. 3) Special White Pizza with Artichokes, Balsamic, and a bunch of other stuff: This isn't on the regular menu, but it was pretty damn good. I wish I remembered the name or took some photos. For 3 people, we were able to just finish all 3 of these items. The crusts are more thicker than your standard wood fired pizzas, but it's not heavy like the big box pizzas. If you're 2 people, you'll definitely be good with one pie. If 4, I'd probably consider 3 pies only because there isn't any option for appetizers beyond salads. You'll probably take back leftovers, but better that than starve. The pizzas are a bit pricey, but it's worth treating yourself on occasion.

J L.

Yelp
Solid wood fired pizza in a casual contemporary space. Service has been consistently good. The tasty pizzas have always drawn us back when we are town.

Yelp
Came here for a mid week lunch with a friend. The interior is so cute and well decorated so it gives this place a really nice and warm atmosphere. I had the lunch special with arugula salad and margarita pizza and thought everything was delicious. I think Nomad makes quality pizzas overall and doesn't disappoint.

Jonathan P.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. Princeton staple. They have some secret menu items if you ask about their items that are no longer included on the menu. Servers are super kind and it's always super quiet during the day.
google avatar

Lani C.

Yelp
Solid stop on my road trip to Philly. Can already tell it's a Princeton gem! Normally just meh about pizza, but Nomad Pizza just does something a little special. The wood-fire flavor really comes through, and the flavor combinations are A+. Service was a little sluggish even on a random weekday afternoon. Had to ask several times for pepper flakes and server realized halfway through our meal that we didn't get any plates. Loved that they're dog friendly though! Plenty of space inside and outside in the enclosed patio.

Yelp
Got take out today, ride back the food smelled amazing, but it was somewhat of a let down after tasting. Here's what we got: - Meatballs and salad (2/5), 3 tiny burnt meatballs and some salad leaves (big uncut leaves, like they just opened a generic salad bag and threw a few pieces with some Parmesan cheese and called it a salad, and just a side of olive oil). Came with a side of marinara for the meatballs that was decent - Margherita di bufala with shiitake mushrooms (4/5), mushrooms were a nice addition that we added, the bufala cheese was meh - Margherita regular (3/5), odd cheese distribution, some of the pieces had so much cheese it tasted like a regular cheese pizza, barely any basil. Overall the pizzas were really doughy and the centers were thicker than Neapolitans I'd prefer, pizzas tasted quite bland and were cold when we got home (15 min from pick up to eating). Maybe they'll be better once we heat up the leftovers in our air fryer for extra crunch. Also, the meatballs were such a disappointment, how can you burn them?? We waited 15 extra min for our food to be ready when we arrived, they said they were running very behind tonight with lots of people eating on site. I had expected food to be undercooked since they were rushing to push them out for lack of time. The place was well decorated, and had both an "indoor" and "patio" seating. But cmon, the patio was adjacent to the indoor section and was fully covered, no ventilation or visible open windows, might as well call this part of indoor seating. One pro was that all workers wore masks, but tables were fairly close to one another and the place was super hot. When covid passes I'd love to give this place another try and dine in for the hot pizzas, but for now, onto the next pizza spot.

Yelp
My first taste of Nomad Pizza came way before just about anyone in the shop at any given time. Bet the farm none of these Princetonites hadn't had one of these beauties off the back of a truck on a Philadelphia street a decade ago. We would ride up to the truck on our single speed bikes in search of char and crispy blackened bubbles on the crust. Maybe we had a bottle or two of an IPA in our backpacks. Fast forward to the Teslas and Range Rovers in the parking lot. While it's still BYOB, you're more than welcome to purchase one of the wines they offer. The clientele is a little more upscale, but the pizza, thankfully is still the same. The wide variety of salads is a much welcomed addition for those of us who don't have the same metabolism we had in our twenties. This latest visit featured a root vegetable and goat cheese special. It being a Friday in Lent, I went with a simple plain pie. Previous trips ventured down paths of fennel-laced sausage, piquant pepperoni, buratta, mushrooms, black truffle and eggs. It's tough to go wrong with their toppings. In general, the staff is great. They're constantly explaining the menu and their lack of slices to the Princeton whitehairs. We had Gabriella for our last visit and she was outstanding. The only flub I've witnessed at Nomad was when someone from the kitchen brought a regular crust to my dining partner who had ordered a gluten free crust. After two slices she declared it the best gluten free crust she'd ever had...until our waiter rolled over and saw in horror that it was a potentially catastrophic error. Fortunately her gluten intolerance isn't fatal, but one of these Princeton folk would have made a huge issue out of it had it happened to them. (The waiter was very apologetic, but a "hey, wine is on the house, thanks for not dying" would have been nice.) By the way, the gluten free crust is quite good. Overall the pizza is pricey, but worth it. Averaging $20 for a pie for one person is a nice way to treat yourself. The same price gets you enough pie for two days at your local shop. Nomad has a great vibe and is a solid casual date spot after 8 p.m. Consider me a regular.

Yelp
Very good Neapolitan pizza. Do try their creative toppings. The refreshing arugula salad came studded with sweet tomatoes and was on point. Service was a bit spotty and their table reservations process was a bit wonky. They don't take reservations unless you're a party of 8 or more. We signed on Yelp Waitlist for a table. When we attempted to check-in with the host at the specified time on Yelp, we were told that, they do not see Yelp Waitlists in their system.

Yelp
We came in at 6:40pm , waited to be seated until 7:25, ordered at 7:30pm and we waited until 8:10 and left because there was no food served. The kids were hungry and waiting! We love the pizza here but looks like the service is going bad to worst!

Yelp
Always an amazing experience at nomads. Service is always on point. Shared a Trenton pizza with pepperoni and a blueberry shortcake. The Trenton Pizza was perfectly done crisp but not overcooked. Just the right amount of red pepper , sauce and cheese. We made the trip tonight. Not only for the pizza but for the dessert. We saw that blueberry shortcake was on the menu and we had to get it. We got it last summer and it was so refreshing. Same goes for this time. The dessert includes two small short cakes covered in fresh blueberries and blueberry sauce with a little whipped cream. The perfect summer treat.

Yelp
My favorites are the tartufo and guanciale and i always get these when i come here. I ordered online and it was ready before i got there. The tartufo was good as always. Unfortunately they forgot the fig jam on the guanciale which was really disappointing cause it does not taste as good without it

Yelp
The pizza here has aspirations to excellence in a Princeton kind of way (Asparagus, Shitake mushrooms, Kale) but is sadly just average - arrayed on a crust that has all the tensile strength of a wet napkin. Yes, I had to transgress the cardinal sin of pizzadom and resort to a knife and a fork. And let's not forget the jet engine testing site doubling as a dining room. Nomad is a madhouse... a MADHOUSE (to quote the Planet of the Apes restaurant guide.) So, there's really no need to complain about the cost... two smallish 12 inch pizzas and a decent Caesar salad for a too close for comfort $60. To be honest I'm a pretty traditional Neapolitan guy - cheese, sauce a few toppings that haven't been cultivated in sanctified Yak dung somewhere near Tibet - I'll save that pleasure for my retirement. Nomad wasn't horrible but I won't be rushing back anytime soon. My apologies to Yaks everywhere.

Yelp
January 2024, came here for the first time in the afternoon, and we were immediately greeted and sat at a table. There are plenty of tables inside. The staff were friendly and service quick. We ordered wine and two pizzas. One Margarita and one with Anchovies. We did ask for them both to come out crispy, but on my opinion they were both a little doughy, not crispy. All and all, the pizza was not bad, and next time I will definitely return the pie if not to my liking.

Yelp
Nomad's will always be one of my favorites. I'm not a huge pizza lover but will always be down for Nomad's. They just do it different. We got the Tartufo pizza, Arugula con Prosciutto pizza, and for fun tried the Nutulla pizza. It was too much for the 4 of us but we definitely enjoyed. It's also byob and they allow dogs outside in the patio seating :) I've also come for a colleagues' birthday celebration before, there's a good sized room inside that fit ~20 of us if you ever want to book

Yelp
This is a fantastic, family friendly restaurant serving up fresh pizzas and salads. We stopped in on Friday night around 5:30 and were seated right away. We started with the blue cheese salad to share. It had chunks of blue cheese, sweet pecans and cranberries tossed in a simple vinaigrette. We then had the pepperoni pizza and arugula con prosciutto pizza. Both pizzas had fresh, quality toppings and cooked to perfection.

Yelp
Pizza was good. We had a large party of 20 and they were able to get our pies out in a timely manner. BYOB was an unexpected and inconvenient twist for this out of state patron. BYOB means no bar as well. Locals probably know this, but be aware if you are thinking you'll pop in and enjoy a cold beer w your pizza.

Yelp
First time at this spot and it was a super clean, modern pizza place with great service. Three of us shared the house salad and two pies. The pizza was cooked perfectly. House salad was also perfect for sharing. Lots of parking in the lot with a shopping center full of stuff to do.

Yelp
Great place to get wood fired pizza. Ordered the margherita, guanciale and the mushroom pizzas and all the pizzas were so good. Crispy, doughy, great amount of toppings. The lunch combo is a great deal as well. Service was fine. The restaurant itself is cute!
