Comfy atmosphere and great wine. We split a flight and really enjoyed the selection. Staff was knowledgeable on the options and knocked it out of the park. Great stop on a rainy day!

Really amazing vibe and people. The cider and wine were delish especially the rose. Growler of wine was a huge hit at thanksgiving and I can’t wait to back and try more stuff. So glad High Point has somewhere like this!

I came across town from Greensboro because I heard that they had mead. It was much to my chagrin to find out that they did not have an assortment of bottled mead for sale. So, I settled to purchase a bottle (or two) of their blackberry mead while staying to enjoy a glass of their weaver mead. The weaver mead blew me away. The inside of Nomad is of a contemporary/industrial style bar with some modern-absurdist art- - and it works. The atmosphere is calm, and the staff are patient and kind. The industrial style of the bar and music played are reminiscent of 2017 while the art reminds you of 2025. 5/5 Nomad

We recently held a small event at Nomad. They allowed us to reserve a small flexible space for a minimal fee...this place was perfect. Thanks to Dave for working with me to get this squared away, and kudos to your staff behind the bar. They were friendly, professional, and super accommodating for our gathering. Additionally the drinks are great...our guests enjoyed most of the handles and I heard only praise for the quality of products! Thanks to you and your staff for helping to make our event perfect!

Great place for so many things!!! We have enjoyed classes, dinners, parties and day drinking at this City Winery! The owners and staff are amazing! Their own creations of wine and mead are always on tap and yummy!

Parking was extremely limited today... Furniture market is also going on. It's a bit too snooty for my likings. I felt like I walked in and the faces were questionable "like ummm are you in the right place" look. No worries. We left.

They have a solid selection of beer, wine, and mead. Their Elevate mead stood out with the taste of coffee, caramel, vanilla, and whipped cream in a delicious mead.

Chase was so nice and helpful! It was our first time there and we had a wonderful experience. Thank you and we will be back!

I can agree with some other reviews I've read about this business. The parking was my main concern with there being limited spaces in their designated parking area. However, there was street parking and a parking lot across the street from this location. I dropped in for an event on a weekday. I arrived a bit early to check the place out a bit. It felt open and spacious upon entry. There were a couple of customers hanging out at the bar area. I appreciate the seating areas. You have an option to lounge, choose a table with friends, and outdoor seating for those nice days out! Once folks started to arrive, the music and overall volume of the space became a bit much. So, having the option to step away for a moment was nice. I ordered one of their red house wines, but unfortunately, I can't recall the name at the moment. I was given the option to sample a few before deciding. There does appear to be something for everyone, even if you prefer something besides wine, there's ciders, and even saw a strawberry lemonade beverage that I would try on another occasion. I would return to explore more of the menu and space.

This is the place to go when you're looking to just sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. I always have a good time here. Their staff is always very friendly, always very helpful and offering an awesome experience.

The wines here are amazing! My favorites are the cosmic lemonade and the Pinot Grigio. Great place to unwind and relax.

Nice chill wine spot. Want to come bring a book or laptop and just get some work done during the week. I have an event next week at this place so I'm interested to check out the weekend/evening vibes as well. Pics include the outside seating in the front and back along with inside seating. The bartender was very helpful with picking a wine and I ended up trying a mead at it was delicious.

What a fun find in High point ! Nice big space for a get together or just drinks. Great service and a nice variety of wine, beer, cider and mead all on tap. A few fun gifts and merchandise to buy. Also snacks available. All important parking available around the building. I love the front outdoor seating area. And the nice space out back. Discovered this place at a yelp event. Will be sure to let my friends know about this little gem.

This local wine bar in High Point is an excellent stopping point for anyone looking for a chill time. I've been a few times and each time it is very pleasant. Excellent locally made wines and other options available as well. The seating area is perfect as well.

Way to go Nomad! I love everything about this place. It will be a regular weekend stop for me! The wines and mead were delicious. Dave was super helpful in picking out a glass of wine. High point needs more places like this. Looking forward to the Upcoming Luau and more events here!!

We had a lovely experience at nomad a few nights ago. We were there for a Yelp elite event, but before it started we had to get a few drinks! If there's one thing i love when visiting a new place is variety! Having a little something for everyone makes for a great experience when out with friends, and Nomad did not disappoint. They offer wine, mead, and even a few beers as well! Our server was great, recommending some great options for my girlfriend and I to try. I was surprised to hear that they served mead which I had never tried before but was so glad I did! I ordered the Tiki Torch mead which was a blend of passion fruit, pineapple, and mango which was phenomenal!! Not overly sweet and none of the flavors overpowering the other, this was the perfect summer drink!! My girlfriend ordered the sparkling wine and it wonderful as well, similar to the mead, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavors meshed well together. The space itself was immaculate! Everything was super clean and there are a few different options for seating. There are two big and open spaces inside offering an array of seating options as well as an outdoor seating area out back! We can't wait to come back soon!!

Love this place! I've been a couple of times with friends to celebrate birthdays. Drinks are great, and the ambiance is perfect for chatting with friends.

Just got here and I already love this place! There quite a few wines on tap, yes I said TAP and a range of your standard wines and some mixed fruit wines and even a dry mead which is unique to me as I've only ever experienced sweet mead. Very impressed with this place! There is plenty of room for large groups without tripping over each other. Its a nice open clean environment. I'm enjoying a sparkling prosecco type wine. Dry and very easy to drink. The hosts are very friendly and on top of their game. They know there products. In the other back room are the stainless steel tanks holding more of the nectar of the gods as I would describe it. I Will be back with a group of friends in the near future. Yeah!

Having been to a few Yelp events here, I finally decided to check out Nomad as a regular patron. It's a comfortable space with lots of comfortable seating and intriguing wall art. Though my wife and I showed up not long before closing, we still received friendly service. I am, admittedly, not much of a wine drinker, but thankfully, Nomad offers quite a few meads as well. The coffee-infused Elevate, which is unlike anything I've found anywhere else, is quickly becoming a favorite. High Point is lucky to have a place like this.

Very Fun pairing event. I liked the blossom mead. Will be back with friends next time.

Great new place in high point. A bit hidden amongst the furniture showrooms but part of the growing social district. Plenty of different wines to try and a few other drinks for non-wine drinkers. The space is very open and definitely has potential for small parties or gatherings. There was a food truck there while we hung out, west coast wanderer, that had excellent flatbreads! Definitely added to the evening. Service was friendly and quick, enjoyed it!

Met some friends at Nomad Saturday night for Social Saturday and while this was certainly not my first time at Nomad, I realized I had never written a review! There was a DJ this particular night and such a great vibe-lots of folks but not packed crowded, which is all the things I love. For a local winery, they really have nailed the wines and I have quickly found a few favorites. Clean, open setting and outdoor seating as well!

Wonderful addition to downtown HP! Please support and visit this incredible business. Street parking and ample parking in the lot across the street. Clean and modern decor, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and so many great drink options that you can't find elsewhere. There are lots of non-alcoholic drinks and some snack options too. We held a private event here and it was a huge success. Everyone was impressed with the space and loved the drinks. The owners are amazing!

I was really anticipating the opening of this place because it meant that High Point's food and beverage scene was expanding even more! This place is located in an odd spot of downtown, near the furniture showrooms, so it wasn't too crowded nearby. Parking is accessible, although not abundant. The place itself is quite and open with a few different seating arrangements. One of the best parts is that they have a little room that gets great sunlight, and it's perfect for parties and showers! They don't serve food (only pre-package snacks), but you are allowed to bring in food if you wish. I love how they offer wine, beer, cider, and mead so that there is a little something for everyone! You can even get flights of three which allows you to try a few drinks before committing. I personally did not like any of the wines I tried but it could have just been the wines I selected. Overall, the wine, atmosphere, and service were good but I was not blown away. I'm not sure I'll return but I do recommend that people try it out for themselves.

First of all, if you've never been here...it's very cool! Unique atmosphere and huge variety of wines & meads & beers. What a great introduction to meads, btw, if you're not super familiar. They have food trucks quite often and a nice variety of snacks. Staff are super helpful and I recommend trying a flight and finding what you like. Great for a date night or a group! Highly recommend!

So fun...music on a Saturday night...a great food truck called the Hummingbird outside...great wine. I'm loving it! The vibe is so fun!

Beer is good and so is the wine. Great ambiance and setting. The Meade is not for me. Will go back again
