We visited this restaurant on January 4th while in town for vacation. We didn't make reservations and it was a weekend, so we just ate in the common area instead of the dining room area. But it was still a nice spot (loved the playlist they had on as well) and there was only 1 other table in there so we had the place to ourselves. Our server (Chris, I believe) was super friendly and had great recommendations. This is the first restaurant we have been to in longer than I can remember where EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious and we ate every bite. We ordered a nice variety of the food so we could taste everything and we were not disappointed! I am also quite picky when it comes to restaurant desserts, especially cheesecake, so I am happy to say, their dessert blew me away! Overall every was fantastic and we will definitely be back if we every come to the area again.

Google
This place is freaking awesome. 3 restaurants under one roof. Their server was ok. She was helpful but could use a little touch-up on her checking back with you. But overall, it was good. Now the food is just perfect. Not a single item we ordered or saw was in any shape form or fashion bad. Their sushi is just beautiful and delicious. Their boa was like a taste of heaven. Their Cuban sandwiches 🥪 melted in our mouths. Nothing like this place that I've ever seen and I honestly can't wait to go back.

Google
This is a cool little sushi spot. Not a ton of seats so maybe do a reservation to be on the safe side. The sushi was really good, we have been trying to find another sushi spot since our favorite spot has fallen off lately. The drinks are really good and colorful. There was only one person working when we got there because the other person was running late so the service was a little slow at first. We will come back for another date night.

Google
We went the day before Valentine's Day, the waitress was truly incredible, her attention was the best of all, they helped me with a plate for my baby with breaded shrimp rice and edamame! very kind, so we tried two apoetizers salads and then we ordered 5 sushi to share, all really delicious, the food was fresh and delicious! the best of all is the volcano so much so that we ordered an extra one

Google
Food was GREAT will not disappoint! We had the district roll, sushi bake roll(both amazing). The food was fresh and did not have any fishy smell like I’ve experienced at other places before. Great price, will highly recommend to others.

Google
** best sushi in st. Pete** The quality is so fresh, it beats Sushi Rock and blows bento out of the water (and all the other spots downtown). It immediately became our new favorite sushi spot! It’s definitely the place I’m going to take my fam and friends from out of town. It’s also right next to a cool swanky lounge arcade place so next time, we plan on going to eat at nomi nori then visit the lounge after. Also, V was one of our servers and she was great! Very friendly. Overall, this is def in our rotation of places we crave on a weekly basis lolol

Google
Not a local, but me and my fiancé were around town to find a good sushi spot and came across this new place in St. Petersburg. I gotta say that this place is on par with some of the sushi spots we eat at back in New York. This is located at a very convenient place in St. Pete's. This place offer 2 specialty rolls, a chef's sashimi platter and we LOVE both of them. The scallops with caviar & uni was such an amazing combo! I love that their Kani Salad is not sweet and more on the tangy side, which pairs well with the amazing selection of seafood they have. They also serve some cocktails and the server recommended me a Passion Fruit margarita (which was really good)! I would definitely come back here the next time I visit St. Pete's! Definitely recommend if quality seafood &: what you're looking for! Great service as well!

Google
Enjoy high quality sushi and sashimi in velvet lounge chairs, a dimly lit room with large edison bulbs and club music in the background. Definitely a cool vibe. The menu is a bit limited but the chef's selection and the open hand rolls were a good choice. Drinks are beautiful if not delicious. Kani salad is very good but much more like a cucumber Kani salad. A great addition to Central Ave.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight for dinner. Kelsie made me a lychee martini but with a Japanese "vodka" instead of Japanese gin. It was great! No need to go into how many I had :) and it was not vodka but it was good! We started with the miso soup and ginger salad. Soup was delicious. The salad had a variety of greens and was a welcomed change from iceberg salads of many a Japanese restaurant . We then moved onto salmon sashimi. It was fresh and delicious. There were three generous pieces to the order. Then we had the hand rolls/tacos. Kelsey got them from "the other side" of the restaurant because they weren't in the lounge menu and I asked about them. They were small but shockingly filling. Loved them. I got the salmon ponzu and my friend got the spicy salmon. We both loved what we got. Then we got the scallop w/caviar. She asked about wanted nigiri versus sashimi and we opted for no rice. It was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we did the district roll and the dragon roll, both were great and different. I forgot to mention I am not a spicy fan and that the spicy could be in the side. Otherwise perfect. We ended with the Peking duck roll. Also delicious! But we were stuffed by this point. Marisol, the chef, was very creative in her presentation. Every dish was a work of art. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!! Go there!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place on a last minute dinner date.. opted to try a bunch of the small plates they had to offer. The ceviche was phenomenal and had great presentation; we also opted for the hamachi carpaccio both toasted and raw. The toasted was a bit under flavored and felt like it was missing something (not their fault we asked for it toasted). We also had the carnitas bao buns which were a delightful treat. The salmon lover roll was absolutely delicious as well had a nice fruity flavor along with it. And lastly, we originally came for the hand rolls (which are no longer on the menu) but they made an exception for us and they were phenomenal. Overall, would come back only 4 stars because everything began coming out at the same time and didn't have a pace to it.. cozy fun vibe! PS.. Our waiter Gabriel was only his second day and he was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable!

Yelp
Cute space with great service. All of my snacks were delicious which made me happy. What was something that did not made me happy was how small the servings were. To be full, the whole menu would have to be ordered. A repeat visit is still needed because that sushi taco (my words, not theirs) was stupid yummy. 25.08.2024

Yelp
Sushi was really good. I would go here again. I probably sound like an old lady but the music is like super loud. It would be more vibey and they turned it down dull so it could be more of an intimate lounge. But that's just me. Food was good and reasonable for downtown st Pete. Service was excellent

Yelp
Steve- The owner is awesome. Treated me like family. Just a great guy. Now to the food. Simply fresh and amazing. I'm a nigiri chick and the blue fin tuna is amazing. All the bao buns were so good get the curry chicken. The restaurant is shared with three other restaurants are Peruvian and a Mediterranean. One. You can select from each menu. It's an awesome concept and I will be back.

Yelp
Was average, not much of a selection which is very typical for Florida. Not much of sake choices over all not a fan and would not return

Yelp
手巻 Temaki is trending in Tokyo lately. Typically, temaki is made in a cone shape. But the new, trendy way is to eat it like a taco, a more casual way as if you were making and eating it at home, Japanese family style. Folded temaki "taco style" is so popular, that specifically folded temaki shops have opened in Harajuku. And, the Japanese sushi chain restaurants serve them also on the seasonal menu with their own paper holders. Even adding new, healy ingredients, like; lettuce leaf wraps, tomato, no rice, and more. Well, we now have a DTSP sushi spot that serves this famous temaki in Tampa Bay! Not only do they serve this fully-loaded temaki "taco," but they also have a special branded bamboo holder to display and hold it! Since I'm always on a budget, I visited on Tuesday when the temaki is BOGO 50% off all day on the snazzy food court side. However, the owner was kind enough to give me a tour of the upscale lounge vibe restaurant next door that is dinner reservation only (some shots in the reel). I tried: 1 Ginger Salad & Miso Soup 2 Unagi Temaki 3 Spicy Tuna Temaki 4 Creamy Scallop Temaki 5 Tuna Poke Temaki

Yelp
Finally, a great sushi spot in Downtown St Pete! Amazing rolls, handrolls, nigiri, sashimi, and signature sushi! I highly recommend making reservations but if you go right when it opens, it should be fine. Also, the best espresso martini I've had! They won a contest for it being the best. So if you are a fan, must order it! What I ordered: - Nomi Nori Deluxe: pick either side salad or miso soup, escolar nigiri, salmon nigiri, hamachi nigri, blue fin tuna nigiri, blue crab handroll and salmon ponzu handroll - Philadephia roll - Spicy Tuna roll
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
The service was nice. This place is in a micro food hall. You can order from different places. The restaurant had a good vibe. The chicken bao was good, and I wish I could have tried others, but I ordered sushi. We tried the blue fin spicy tuna and spicy salmon or salmon roll and they were both tasty. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my partner said he wished we were checked on more. Additionally my lychee martini was sweet and delicious but I hated that it was $15 and I didn't taste as much alcohol as I would like. I would go back though.

Yelp
I made reservations for 5:30, an early dinner on Saturday night. They are not on Open Table but it's easy to schedule on their website. Seating is very limited, only about 5-6 small tables inside and hightop seats at the bar. At this time, it was not packed and they were accepting walk-ins to fill the inside. I liked their upbeat playlist for a Saturday night, very fitting and lounge-like mixes and definitely a good vibe for early Saturday night dinner if you're looking to continue the party somewhere else. Service was spot on and it seemed like there was some fun had behind us at the bar. Those cocktails coming out were lit (literally.) I ordered the espresso martini (with vodka) and it was probably one of the best ones I've had, not too creamy, and up there with the one I had at Arts Club in The Edition Tampa. We came for the experience and to try their specialty hand rolls recommended by a friend who had just visited. We left quite happy. I did wish there was a separate menu similar to the specialty rolls so we could pick and choose our own to experience all the flavors, but we were told it is only included in the chef specials. My husband and I shared the Nomi Deluxe combo (~$50) which came with one miso soup, an assortment of 6 nigiris (blue fin tuna, escolar, yellowtail, and salmon) and the star of the show were the blue fin tuna and the blue crab hand rolls . We wanted to try at least one special roll and our server recommended The Lyndon (~$23). It was an elevated volcano roll with eel- Much lighter than I expected but everything was scrumptious nonetheless! To me, it's definitely worth checking out at least once if you're celebrating something special but it will cost you a pretty penny. It's definitely more elevated than your average sushi spot. While still on the pricier side, the ambiance, service, quality of the fish, and flavors were still worth the visit. They had a scallop with caviar on their menu- I missed out this time but looking forward to giving it a try next... you don't see that everyday here in St Pete!

Yelp
Nomi Nori Beautiful Plates, but Missing the Mark. Nomi Nori is a polished, small eatery with an elevated sushi menu. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, but overall, there was something slightly underwhelming about the experience. We visited for a date night, and while the atmosphere had potential, it felt off. There was only one person handling both the bar and table service, which created an odd dynamic. In a place like this, you expect a curated experience, but it felt more like we just sat down, ordered, ate, and left without much else. For instance - I ordered the $80 Nomi Nori Encore, and unfortunately, it really missed the mark. It wasn't just the flavor, it was the overall dull feeling and lack of creativity. The selection felt uninspired, mostly just basic nigiri with minimal flair. (Seen in photo) What was meant to be a chef's selection type experience felt more like a routine platter, with the only "art" being words made out of sriracha. It lacked originality, depth, and excitement--just a dull execution at a premium price. The restaurant was also unusually quiet, almost like no one had anything to say. The vibe just wasn't there. There's definitely a lot of potential here, but the execution fell short. That said, my husband ordered the miso glazed salmon and it was very good. We'd love to come back in the future and hope to see some changes in ambiance and overall experience.

Yelp
So glad I made it to Nomi Nori. I'm actually thinking of my next visit here to try their hand rolls. Little that I know that part of Nomi Nori was in a mini eatery filled with four food and drink vendors. The other part of Nomi Nori is in the District Lounge side. For this first time i ordered the District Roll. It's probably my most fave roll in a long time. It makes me want to come back and try more along with their hand rolls. This location is perfect for my hubby and I. I'm always wanting sushi, fish, or seafood, while he wants more chicken and meat. The other vendors in this eatery make it a perfect fit. The seating and area is nice as well. I'm definitely coming back here here for the food, great friendly service and the all around experience here!

Yelp
Food: Delicious apps - rolls were good (try the baked salmon and the favorite "District roll") Service: Quickly seated by Ethan/Vee, later catered to by the owner Steve (great guy) Left feeling like we were fam Ambiance: There are two sides (low lit/date side and cafeteria/eatery side) Inside/outside seating available. On Saturday, not very busy until roughly 8pm. Good acoustics - quiet enough to hold a good conversation even when busy. I recommend this place for 1-2, maybe 3 ppl; other restaurants would be better for groups. Overall, this is a good place for sushi. Steve has friendly staff - top quality fish, with a limited specialty roll menu. Comparatively, one of the better sushi places in this part of Florida. *Received 20% off for Veterans Day

Yelp
We dined in opening week and had a great time. We dined in on the smaller lounge side, which is meant for a more intimate dining experience. That side o ly seats 10 people and there is a bar with limited space so a Reserva is needed. There is another side of the restaurant on the right, which is like an open casual space with three restaurants operating, which is not to be confused with District Lounge, Nominori. The menu is small and simple to understand. It is set up where you order a complete experience for a set price, and you get a choice of soup or salad. Then, the other side has items that can be ordered a la carte. As far as the gluten-free items go, if you have Celiacs (like I do), you have to inform them. Be very clear about this so they do not prepare your food in the same space as the other rlitems. I had to skip a few items on the menu because they contained gluten such as the miso soup and the ginger salad. My handrolls were also different and more scaled down. They did, however, have Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce). Lastly, I did enjoy the cocktail, Wanderlust. We had a great time, and we loved the space. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The pricing is good, but I have to add that they do charge a 3% credit card fee. Street parking is available for free as well.

Yelp
Definitely need to be back here for the espresso martini and those $8 blue crab hand rolls. It's definitely on the pricier side but man, it was so so flavorful! You do need a reservation and parking can be a pain (use park mobile if you can). They did such a good job with their drink display which will leave you wanting more! The service here was also lovely. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Pretty good sushi spot. We caught a Rays game and then walked here afterward. The location is great. It is on the main strip of everything that is happening in St. Pete, This restaurant is in the same building as a Peruvian place and a crepes place with shared seating. There was only 1 other couple in the location on a Saturday night around 7 pm. We were sat quickly and given a menu. The menu didn't have a ton of options, but we ordered the Philly Roll, Tuna Lover Roll, and Spicy Salmon Roll. The rolls were really good. However, the prices were expensive. It was almost $100 for 4 rolls and a Coke.
google avatar

Yelp
Superb - make a reservation so you're not disappointed! Best sushi in St Pete, hands down.
google avatar

Octavious S.

Yelp
Dropped in here to party with the bachelor before the wedding! We arrived on time and was promptly seated. The show started and it was cool. The menu was appropriate but the one thing that stood out was The Maverick! It was a drink and they only allowed 2 per person lol I already knew what my choice would be. I didn't even care what it was lol the rest of the guys followed suit. It was a good drink and we seen why the limit it as the night went on. I also tried saki, hope I spelled that right, for the first time. It was weird and warm. The 2nd shot almost activated my gag reflex lol but I powered it down! The guys ate sushi, not my thing, then we headed out. Great place to visit and the atmosphere was amazing!

Yelp
Cool little place. Will go back. Smart business setup off to the side of a different restaurant. Like the DJ setup. Over fancy on a couple of the pieces. Not sure where rest of my pictures went !
google avatar

Aaron R.

Yelp
Sushi rolls were below average. The fish did not taste fresh. Prices were about average and the service was fine. Very busy place on a Sunday night so food took a while. Overall, underwhelming.
google avatar

Vicky F.

Yelp
I think we came with too high of expectation. There's a Nomi Nori in New York City (I don't think they are related) that was fantastic. It's under Fusion apartment building with a couple of other restaurants (shared bathrooms and kitchen?). Food and drinks were meh with St Pete price. The otoro tuna was super chewy with tendons through out the bites, so def not worth $22 for 3 pieces of sashimi.
google avatar

Mai V.

Yelp
This place is so fresh and delicious! Service was top notch and vibe was relaxing. Will definitely come here often.
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Judge this book by its cover, it was out of this world Finally the edge district has a delicious sushi spot. GO NOW
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
I got a scallop hand roll and a Philly roll at Nomi Nori. I like that they moved into Edge Eatery, providing more variety to this mini food hall! I really liked my scallop hand roll. It was creamy and tasted very fresh. The only thing is they charge a credit card surcharge of 4%, so be warned! Tuesdays they have buy one get one half off hand rolls, so I will be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here unexpectedly on a Friday night (10/13) and WOW what a great experience! Walked in and sat at the bar as I prefer to typically do and was greeted immediately by the waitress and bartender. The indoor space is pretty small (about 6 tables and bar seating) and I would imagine on some nights you'd need a reservation, but lucky for us we did not need one. The cocktail menu and food menu are both incredible and Evan, the GM and mixologist curated a unique and extremely pleasurable drink list. I started with my go-to of an espresso martini, which Evan, just happened to be an expert in! One of the best Espresso martinis I've had to date and apparently he has a whole repertoire of Espresso martinis (chocolate and burnt coconut, smoky, and a few others) which I WILL be back to try. The group I was with all ordered different drinks and they all thought they were incredible, and best of all almost all of them come with some kind of flare (such as a lime/lemon on fire) which is always fun. On to the food: I had eaten pretty recently prior to coming so I wasn't starving but I was hungry so I went with the spicy tuna roll, and while it is one of the most basic sushi rolls you can get, some people still manage to mess it up. That was far from the case at Nomi Nori, probably the best spicy tuna roll I've ever had! I would love to go back and order the rest of the menu. Service again, was extremely friendly, however, the waitresses did have some confusion with drink/food tickets and were a little slow at times. I think if Nomi Nori can adjust and have some more organization/communication it will be a staple on Central ave. Overall, great experience and definitely recommend going for the incredible drinks, lovely ambiance, and delicious sushi!
google avatar

Chieu H.

Yelp
Food: We tried an assortment of sushi pieces including the tuna, creamy scallops, eel, philly sushi rolls. The assortment of fish was fresh, rice was soft, and flavors were on point. Have to eat the rolls quickly in order to preserve the seaweed crunch. We recommend the scallops with caviar and uni, it melted in our mouths and definitely a must try! Service: We met the owner who we can tell takes pride in the quality of food and service. Taylor was our server, she did a wonderful job and made sure we were attended to the entire time. Ambiance: There are two sides/concept to the restaurant. One side is intimate with high energy music and the other side is for casual/quick dining. Definitely great to have options!

Yelp
This is the freshest sushi I have found in St. Pete!! I love the hand rolls and other rolls as well! They have great espresso martinis and the servers are always very nice! It is a little pricey but totally worth it in my opinion!
google avatar

Philip H.

Yelp
The sushi at this place is second to none in the Tampa/St Pete area. They have unique "taco" sushi hand rolls and poke bowls. You can tell that the chef uses the highest quality sushi currently available by fresh taste and smooth texture unlike so many sushi places that have chewy or tough fish. You will get no brown bottom or "waste" on your salmon or tuna. Service is well done with plenty of staff to serve you quickly and efficiently without hovering. Getting their attention is easy but only if you want it. There are two sides - one is a more casual side with rattan chairs and a full but unassuming sushi and drinks bar. The other side is a more elegant experience with plush seating and formal table settings with chic dim lights, formal atmosphere and a full drinks bar. Ask for the Nogori sake - it's smooth and light with no after burn. Nomi Nori as a high quality sushi spot is great and is a needed addition to the Central Ave St Pete downtown scene located right next to famous Fergs sports bar on 15th and central. Give it a try - you won't regret it.

Yelp
Eat on the district lounge side instead of the edge eatery side & enjoy dinner and drinks. Sushi is fantastic takes a little longer than most places but it is worth the wait. Jay behind the bar is mixing great espresso martinis! It's a must try if you're in DTSP. They do a late night happy hour Friday nights, dying to go back and check that out!
google avatar

Ann Fava P.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great! We sat outside and it felt great outside. The waitress recommended the Pomegranate Hibiscus Marg and it was SO GOOD. Will be coming back for that. She told me they have happy hour Wed-Friday from 5-7 so going to come back with some girlfriends. We ordered three rolls and all were AMAZING. My fave was a hot roll, can't remember the name but it's pictured. Will absolutely be back!

Yelp
There are 2 separate sides to Nomi Nori-one side is causal in a smaller (than armature works) food hall with about 3-4 other vendors. The other side is more upscale, lounge vibes with a more set menu. We tried out both sides on a Thursday night. Lots of available street parking in the area and you can seat yourself in the food hall. They had cocktails on the menu and we lived the lychee tini! Not many appetizers on the menu so we dove right in and started with hand rolls. They arrived quickly to the table and were very fresh and delicious. Next, we tried 2 rolls: the Tuna Lover and District Roll. Again, both came out fairly quickly and the fish was fresh and delicious. They get multiple deliveries of fresh fish throughout the week too. The server checked on us often to make sure we didn't need anything and cleaned up our plates as we dined. After eating, we slipped out to the "District Lounge" side of Nomi Nori which had less tables to eat at inside but more available outside as well as a bar with seating. The lights were low and moody and had music playing. The bartender was amazing and could whip up anything to your liking (they do have a menu of cocktails to choose from as well.) We tried their signature espresso martini and it was amazing! The bartender also concocted a toasted coconut and peppermint version as well! Also, decadent and delicious. There was a fire show that started at 9 which was intimate and amazing. Overall we would visit both sides again-one for casual, delicious sushi; the other side for craft cocktails and a show!

Yelp
Went to try the hand rolls and found a sushi taco instead. With the sushi balanced precariously on top of the rice, it was a bit difficult to eat and enjoy. Whenever I have had hand rolls previously they were cone shaped. Also, tried the regular roll, and was unsatisfied with the amount of fish in the roll. Prices are steep, and had to pass on a 350 ML bottle of Sake they were selling for $50 (retails for around $12). Still waiting for a real Japanese sushi restaurant in St Pete.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
You guys need help. The service was slow, disorganized. Looks like a staff consistency issue. Not sure what the presentation approach was here. Showed the rolls flat with some tempura dropped on top in messy fashion

Trinity R.

Yelp
Food and drinks were great! Came in late on a Monday and staff was super friendly, I assume it was the owner who started taking care of us and he was awesome! So friendly and helpful in finding what we wanted off the menu. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place is a 10 out of10. The seafood is fresh and delicious each dish was given so much thought. The hand rolls are seriously top tier. The ambiance is an added bonus. Also we met the partners who own this place and you can tell they're operate in excellence and put their heart into it. On one side there's a food style of different foods where anyone can pop in and on the side where the dining room is, you make a reservation and you're transported to food heaven. Check this place out!

Yelp
I tried the salmon poke bowl and a handroll and it was delicious. Presentation is also beautiful. I will definitely be back to try other items.

Yelp
Everything was FANTASTIC, down to service, ambiance, drinks and delicious sushi/hand rolls, the sever Evan is really nice and attentive and I think he's the bartender so the drinks were spot on! The owner Steve is super nice and always came by to check on us and told us what they didn't have which was totally okay, it wasn't their fault. Sushi 10/10, Drinks 10/10, Ambiance 10/10, Service 10/10, we also went on a Wednesday and was able to walk in but definitely on the weekends you may want to make a reservation.. Definitely will be a go to spot coming from tampa :)

Yelp
When we got into the restaurant we were confused because they share the space with a sandwich and crepe. We asked if we could have a seat and they were like do you have a reservation we said no and they said sit anywhere you want. The crepe guy gave us a menu cause he wanted business, there was only one waitress we were waiting 10 min for one. When she ask she was like oh you want sushi? We said yes, we ordered and when we got our sushi it looked kinda rushed and rice was really sticky not a high rated sushi. The sitting is close and our table was in the middle where the waitress's where noticing us but didn't come to us even when they had time. And a confusing restaurant. My friend liked her sushi but 5$ for a small ice tea ridiculous!

Yelp
Highly recommend this spot! Such amazing quality fish, great ambiance, and good service. St. Pete needed a super high quality sushi joint, and this is it. We primarily had hand rolls, but everything looked really fresh and great. Super affordable for the quality and volume of what you get. We got this order to go, but are looking forward to the in person experience soon. 10/10: lump crab hand roll tuna poke hand roll ponzu salmon hand roll spicy tuna hand roll

Yelp
A great addition to the food hall here! Our waitress was extremely attentive and so sweet. Almost all of the cocktails have Soju (Hell yes!) and really enjoyed my sushi rolls! A bit standard for the rolls but still fresh tasting. We would definitely come back just to have a cocktail and some miso soup. Y'all - their miso soup is SO GOOOOOD!

Yelp
Very new place right next to Tropicana field, the vibes are super cool and we got our food pretty fast. The one thing is that parking can be hard to find.

Yelp
Visited Nomi Nori and WOW! First - it's not obvious where it is from the outside. They put a chalkboard sign out after we went in, but it is in the District Lounge. Service was great, from welcome to departure. Quality is where they shine - FRESH and full of flavor. Poke bowl was out of this world and fully customizable. Lump crab hand roll had nice flavor. Baked salmon roll was delicious. Cocktails also great. Give this place a try. We will be back!

Yelp
Upon arriving, the ambiance of this restaurant was exceptional! We were seated in a very intimate setting where the bar is with few tables giving a feeling of exclusivity. Being an avid sushi lover, I have mixed emotions of this place. Being a fairly new restaurant, I will say that the quality of the sushi was exceptional! I give it a 10/10 for ambiance and food quality. As for service, I can not say the same. Based off of the photos i viewed on the google search and their instagram, I was expecting to have an assortment of items to choose from based off of what my friends and myself ordered. However this was far from what happened. Although my friends ordered bento box style options, their items were brought out one by one along with many items that seemed to have been forgotten about. Although our server was very sweet, she was unable to keep track of what items we received and did not receive resulting in us finishing our meals a bit disappointed that we had to remind her numerous times of these items and still not receiving them. To top it off, we had to ask multiple times to have our drinks refilled. Being someone who has specific dietary needs, they were unable to accommodate swaps for the combo options. Which, again, I understand restaurants having standards and sticking to them. No biggie, but this left me with limited options to be able to receive the full experience that I had been hoping for. I ordered the tuna poke hand roll and requested to leave the crispy shallots off of it. after 15 min my hand roll arrived fully dressed with crispy shallots (and no sesame seeds or green onions) My server had them remake the handroll, and it arrived with none of the toppings at all. Trying not to be too picky, I still consumed it plain as the quality of the tuna was fantastic. Being in the service industry myself, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt of whether they are new to serving or to the restaurant itself. I intend of giving this place another go in a couple of months once they work out the kinks. I will also sit at the sushi bar for a different experience. I hope this can give you some insight on what to expect at this place. If you have dietary restrictions, they can be difficult to accommodate. If not, then you will have no issues enjoying the quality and ambience of Nomi Nori!

Yelp
Moses the manager is awesome and makes the best cocktails I've had in all of St Pete. Love going here for happy hour martinis. Highly recommend the espresso martini or the mojito, both are amazing. Love their red details too, especially the roses
