Our hotel concierge recommended this Bib Gourmand spot when we were scrambling for a last-minute dinner reservation on a predictably packed Saturday night. Somehow, they squeezed us in for a late seating—perfect for us. A breezy 20-minute Uber ride from our hotel in Jardim Paulista, and we were on our way.
We were warmly welcomed by co-owner Patrice, who graciously let us snag the coziest corner table for four. The menu may be compact, but it’s anything but ordinary. Taking Patrice’s expert advice, we dove into a selection of sharing plates—where, to our surprise (and delight), wood-roasted vegetables and non-meat dishes stole the show - quite a rarity in meat-loving Brazil!
We went all in—two main proteins, three veggie-carb combos, four desserts, and a bottle of velvety Brazilian Pinot Noir. The standouts? A smoky, melt-in-your-mouth Cupim steak (a first for us!), seared fish ceviche, creamy polenta, pão de queijo with rich liver pâté, and wine-stewed nectarines. We wrapped it all up with a beautifully spiced, fortified Cachaça.
Service? Flawless. Sommelier duo Nora and Patrice worked the floor like a well-rehearsed dance, striking the perfect balance between attentive and unobtrusive. A meal to remember—delicious, seamless, and just the right amount of indulgent.
