FOOD TASTE IS GOOD The workers were nice the patty is as thin as paper which I didn't know. I don't eat the bread so it wasn't filling. It's pricey. I guess double up on the patty but expect to pay. I

Google
Pretty good! I liked the burger the most. The half salad half fries makes no sense because the salad gets hot. The tacos are okay they don’t have much flavor and need salt. The food is pretty expensive for what you get but I guess I’m beating a dead horse. Lmaoooo

Google
Don’t get me wrong, the burger was ridiculously good, the cauliflower wings were fine (not tossed in any sauce, what the?), and the shake was perfect… but $13 for a burger without a side is unjustifiable.

Google
Just okay. I had the bbq burger because the hot chicken sandwich was not available, which was a huge disappointment. It took me so long to get there. The food was just okay, but this restaurant needs some tlc and better maintenance and cleaning of the facility.

This vegan burger spot is right on Melrose in LA. I found parking not too far down the street. The inside and outside appearance was very clean, colorful and trendy. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I got soda, fries and a burger. The fries were just okay but the burger was probably the best plant-based cheeseburger I have ever had! Very delicious & filling!! A fun spot to hang out at with friends.

Google
This was the perfect burger. So many people have put the burger, as a food item, to the side where it languishes as a greasy fast food option. Well not this place. Everything blends together to create a delightful flavour. The ingredients are fresh, and the patty is home made. The use of home made patties is a lovely touch and a great opportunity for unique flavor that really stands out from the impossible and beyond counterparts. The diner vibe is super cool. This is exactly the type of burger joint I've been looking for.

Google
The food was average. 100% vegan burger and chicken option, a few sides as well. Music was really loud, and I was the only one in the restaurant. When ordering, I couldn't hear what the person was saying when she took my order. While prepping my food, I asked if I could get it to go. I got a rude look from the chef when he handed me my food. I said thank you! And he said yup and turned away. If you're in West Hollywood and want a good vegan lunch, I would suggest trying another spot.

I've been coming here since the week it opened. It's my go-to when I need some comfort food, and it never disappoints. It's unique, it's friendly, fun, cool vibes & the food is just spot on. You can tell it's made fresh and it's made with a lot of love. Everything is amazing. I love their shakes, best vegan shakes in town. I'm from New England and miss fried clams being a vegan. Their oyster mushrooms are a great treat whenever I'm feeling homesick. Their chicken sandwich is my go-to. I'm not a fan of impossible burgers, but there's have been great. Can't say enough good things about the staff and the food. (If you skip this place because you're not vegan, you're missing out.) Long live Nomoo!

Yelp
NoMoo is a delicious, plantlicious noms!! Stopped in before a local comedy show pre-shower and loved everything I tried and recently ordered takeout and was more than surprised. The NoMoo double is trouble in all the best ways, but a single can have you enjoying the best of days. The portions for some takeout items like the animal-style fries felt smaller than expected (or at least the big box they were in did lol, but still loaded with yummy toppings and confections. Huge fan of the NoMoo wings, hand-breaded cauliflower wings that make my heart sing - just add your choice of sauce (my top pics being the Nomoo house sauce, chipotle mayo, and Nashville hot sauce). Plant-Fil-A is a thriller and the Hot Chick'n Sandwich is so incredible, you'll barely remember to take a pic O.O Truffle Cheese Breakfast Sandwich is next on my list!! They have outstanding service, indoor as well as shaded outdoor open-air seating. I haven't tried the shakes, but the Tractor organic sodas, Arnold Palmer or Ice Tea, and numerous other beverages are a must. Don't forget to grab a homemade chocolate chip cookie (they sell out for the day fast)! Find parking off Melrose Avenue (metered) and/or (more likely) residential side streets in the Fairfax area. Restrooms are available for all customers new, frequent, and regular.

Yelp
Horrible place. Food is completely mediocre and the staff is so rude. They messed up our order and told us we needed to pay extra if they had to remake our food. Super dirty and overall just awful place. The receipts also don't show what you've ordered and receipt comes up as Big Daddy's Pizza. So there's no way to see what you've been charged for. Save your money and go somewhere else

Yelp
Used to LOVE this place. Not sure what's happened but they have become one of the shittiest places to get a vegan burger. Don't waste your money. Ordered a double facon, spicy chicken sandwich, basic cheeseburger, and fries. The buns are trash quality now--soggy within me taking two bites. The burger meat is stick thin and basically non existent, a bit undercooked, and lacking flavor. They put SO MUCH ketchup on the cheeseburger that we had to take one of the buns off, wipe all the toppings off the meat, and put a piece of sandwich bread on to make it edible. And who the hell puts shredded cheese in a cheeseburger?!?! They changed their chicken meat and now it's so thin and the breading is so thick and it was so overcooked it was impossible to eat because of how hard it was. Somehow they even messed up the fries. Who double fries French fries?! The icing on the cake.... we reached out to see what the hell happened to our order and their phones are disconnected and they left us on read with no response. This after we have sent them numerous kind messages thanking them for their phenomenal food and ambiance in the past. Now it's complete trash. Don't waste your money. Horrible quality, overpriced, and probably some of the worst customer service I've ever seen at a vegan spot.

Yelp
I've been there a few times. I am not a vegan, but my girlfriend is. She liked this place, and we kept going there whenever we were in the area. Today, we stopped by and ordered a plant-based sandwich (or whatever they call it), fries, and a Coke ($26 + tips = $30). It took them around 30 minutes to make it, and when my girlfriend tried it, it appeared to be a different and spicy sandwich. We went back to the counter and explained that they possibly made a different burger since the one we ordered was supposed to be non-spicy. The person who worked there said that they were out of non-spicy chicken patties, so they put spicy ones instead. Without asking. My girlfriend can't eat spicy food, so we told them about it. They offered to make a double hamburger instead, which we agreed on. After another 20 minutes, they brought a regular hamburger (the cheapest one they have on the menu), which was undercooked. TLDR: They made a spicy sandwich instead of a regular one since they were out of the regular patties. They offered a replacement but decided to make it cheaper to save on the patty, I guess. Won't go there again.

Yelp
We pass by Nomoo all the time and my wife and I decided to try it for our weekly lunch date. It's a small restaurant with only a bar to sit, but has a nice patio playing great music. I'm a meat eater, so my hopes weren't super high, but my wife is pescatarian. Occasionally she misses having a burger, but was so grossed out by the other popular vegan burger place in the area that she hasn't tried one for a while. This one was much better! Order: Double burger Tacos Fries Cookies and crème shake Pros: Quick, friendly service Good food Great patio Cons: Expensive Burger texture We went around 2pm on Friday, so the lunch rush was over. There were a few people eating and only 1 person in line before us. Service was pretty quick; food came in less than 20 minutes. They forgot our shake, so I had to go back in and remind them, but then it was out in about 5 minutes. The tacos were good. Reminded me of Taco Bell. The shell texture was a little odd because it's like a hard tortilla with a soft one on the outside, but the soft one wasn't completely soft; so it was kind of chewy. But good overall. The burger was good when you ate everything together. For a vegan, or someone like my wife who doesn't eat beef, it's a solid alternative. The patties are kind of mushy, so there was a texture issue, but flavor was solid. When I got to the last couple of bites of the burger without any tomatoes, lettuce, or onions to mask the flavor, I could definitely tell a major difference in the taste as compared to a beef patty. I couldn't finish the last bite, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience of a nice solid beef substitute. Fries were very good. Cheesy, salty, a nice bite from the onion, and a delicious creamy sauce. Even though I like oatmilk, the shake just wasn't that great to me. It had a strong oatmilk flavor and the cookies weren't the best. Didn't taste like Oreos (which are vegan), so would love a change to those if I went back. Overall, this was a really solid lunch spot. If you're in the area and looking for a great vegan burger, make sure to check them out!

Yelp
I've always driven by this restaurant and said, "hey I should try there!" I was finally in the area and decided that today was the day! There's only street parking. I went on a Thursday for lunch, so there were plenty of street spots nearby. Not sure what it would look like for dinner time or on the weekend. There's tables outside and a bar with stools inside. Outside has some umbrellas to help shield the sun. They also have heaters but they weren't being used when I was there. The kitchen is totally open so you can watch your food be prepared. The menu isn't too extensive. You either get a burger or a chicken sandwich. If you are a local familiar with the other fast food vegan burger places, I'd say that this one is a solid second or third place for me. It was super filling with the double patties. Whatever cheeze they use melts very well. The whole thing totally falls apart tho. Done be a hero, keep the burger wrapped as you eat! The fries were meh. While they were nice and hot, they just tasted plain. There wasn't even enough salt. I don't think I'll go out of my way to eat here again, but it's good to know that if I'm out on Melrose again, I can always stop here.

Yelp
I just came to nomoo burger on Melrose for the first time and their music is so loud. There is indoor and seating and also outdoor seating. It is a vegan burger place. They seem understaffed though and my order took forever. The fries were overrated.

Ariel S.

Yelp
Most of these options are affordable and good portion sizes. The shakes are generous and tempting. The 'wings' are wonderful made from either cauliflower or oyster mushroom! Out of the shakes I've tried; my favorite is the blue magick [spirulina] with CBD added for $2 extra. There are plenty of great veggie 'ham' burgers out there but the BBQ chik'n (paid extra for substitution) facon burger is a standout here! Most sauces/dips are made in-house like my top 2: avocado ranch and garlic aioli. I like the eclectic retro dinner feel and I typically lounge outside seating area.

Ashley F.

Yelp
Used to be the only place I could get a good vegan chocolate shake but apparently they changed what they make it with... the food is alright but we really came for the shakes (would drive from Oc) shake is now icy without much flavor. The Oreo was a little better than the chocolate but they used to be SO GOOD Won't be coming back due to the shift :(

Zach H.

Yelp
It's in the name. No cow. 100% vegan spot. Burgers are good. Filling. Tasty. Interesting. The garlic aioli with the fries was clutch. Thanks yelp. Bar style seating. Nice aesthetic. Food came out fast.

Karla M.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place because their burgers are made with pea protein not from impossible meat like other vegan spots. It was actually pretty good. Flavor wise it was good. I expected it to come with more toppings. It was pretty plain. Just cheese, chopped red onions and sauce. I didn't get that lettuce they showed on the pictures but, it was still good. The fries were excellent. Tried it with the garlic aioli sauce. A bit too thick for me but it wasn't bad. Paired it with the strawberry milkshake. Cute little vegan spot.

Remy S.

Yelp
Super rare I get to fully enjoy a meal out being vegan and having a soy allergy. Nomoo really hit it out of the park. I ordered a double cheeseburger which was super tasty and filling. The french fries were out of this world with the avocado ranch dip. Service was super good and accommodating with my allergies. The only negative was the cauliflower. The outdoor area was cute and relaxing to sit in. I only wish this place was closer to the valley.

Frankie T.

Yelp
This place was ok. I ordered a burger and fries. They cooked both fresh to order. The burger was fine - bun was pretty flimsy and didn't hold up well but the flavor was alright. The fries were stick thin, over cooked and tiny. They were salty at hot at first but honestly they were not worth the money. The person at the counter served me quickly, she was great. I was the only person eating at the counter on a summer afternoon. I probably won't be back because I think there are better meatless burgers in LA, but in a pinch it was ok.

Samantha Z.

Yelp
NooMoo is one of the cutest and yummiest burger joints on melrose Ave if not West Hollywood! It's a little expensive, but completely worth it for the absolute freshness of the ingredients. The workers are super nice and friendly and the interior and outdoor seating areas are gorgeous and spacious! Also has vegetarian options and delicousss looking milkshakes! Total gem of Los Angeles for sure

Jenny E.

Yelp
I just witnessed a lady curse the burger man out and toss a burger across the counter. The staff was inappropriate in response and the customer just the same. There was no resolution as she wanted a refund but the cashier told her she was ratchet and no refund. She stormed out. My burger and fries I ordered were NOT good. They did not take the time out to make the meals right. I could see why she was upset. My burger and fries cost $20. Not worth it .

Liz B.

Yelp
This place is so cute and instagram worthy with all the bright colors and neon lights! I'm so happy there are more vegan/vegetarian places! The nomoo burger was really good and I loved the bun. They give you a lot of fries which I was happy but they did seem a bit cold. My friend ordered the cheese fries and we were a little disappointed when it was just 2 slices of American cheese melted on top. I got the vanilla lemonade which I had never had/seen before and it was really good. The service was great as everyone was quick and friendly. It is located on a busy road but if you park on N Sierra Bonita Ave or N Gardner St then you'll find free parking. The bathrooms are located in the back and didn't feel very clean.

Nikki K.

Yelp
Pros Fast service Fun ambience Good food options Reasonable prices, especially nestled on Melrose Avenue Satisfying food Vanilla lemonade, is a must try! Even if you don't think you like vanilla lemonade you have no idea Cons Maybe parking, my advice would be park down in the residential and just walk up

Yelp
I came here with my mom after strolling Melrose for a couple of hours. I was hungry and my mom was very hangry. Upon looking at the menu I realized this is a plant based burger joint. Perfect for me, not so perfect for my mom who is anti anything plant based. "Oh, crap!" I thought in my head. "I can't deal with this hangry temperament much longer, but if she realizes this place is plant based, I'm in for one long ass day." So, I made sure my mom kept a distance from the menu and I ordered the food: two single classics and house fries with No Moo sauce. We sat on the patio that was giving touristy "Welcome to Sunny California" vibes, and waited for our food. One bite of my burger and I was in plant based burger paradise. I mean, these burgers are so good! I nervously observed my mom eating her burger. No complaints, she seemed to be enjoying it. When we finished, I asked my mom how she liked her burger and she said it was good, she liked it. At which point I revealed the secret, "It's not beef! It's plant based!" She tried to huff and puff but I was like, "Too late! You already said you liked it" to which she could not protest. The point of this review is that these burgers are so tasty they can easily fool any carnivorous being on any given day. I hope they open more locations on the Westside because I would definitely be a regular.

Grant R.

Yelp
Ordered online, went with the "curbside service" option for pick up. After waiting for several minutes curbside, it became clear that no one was going to bring out my food so I went inside. After waiting at the counter for several more minutes someone finally asked if they could help me and I got my food. When I got home, I discovered that the $2 I had paid for cheese on my burger wasn't honored. I won't be getting food from Nomoo again. Bummer. I live in the neighborhood and finally gave them a try and they showed their colors. Here's a photo of the plain double burger they gave me instead of my double cheese burger. Had to microwave it and add stuff to it on my own.

Shelley Y.

Yelp
First time trying out a vegan spot since moving to LA! Food: I was pleasantly surprised with the plant-fil-a burger. It was crispy and it didn't have a strange aftertaste and texture. However, I wasn't a fan of my boyfriends nomoo burger for those same reasons - taste and texture. While it was juicy, it had a lingering taste that I couldn't quite figure out. We also got a side of fries and an order of the tacos. Fries were delicious with the garlic aioli sauce. Tacos reminded me of Taco Bell after I added some hot sauce (lol). $12 for two tacos and no sides is pricey though imo. Drinks: Oreo milkshake was creamy but the sweetness tastes slightly artificial. The vanilla lemonade was so good! I normally don't like lemonade because its too sweet but this drink was perfect

Taifha B.

Yelp
"I can't believe it's not [meat]" (SN: Am I dating myself with the Fabio reference?!) What you SHOULD believe is that nomoo is serving up some of the best vegan burgers in (dare I say it?) ALL of LA. While the menu is definitely on the pricier side, you should definitely splurge on this foodie experience. The process of ordering was really simple. You order at the counter inside the brick and mortar restaurant. Then you receive a number that you place on a table that you find and secure on your own, which instantly activated my anxiety because there were no open tables in their cute outdoor patio. However, after a few minutes of waiting, a table opened up, an employee cleaned the space and we were waiting for our burger. Our drink, a cherry creme soda was brought out first and almost didn't survive the wait just based on how delicious it was. When our burger came, it was absolutely delicious, juicy and bursting with flavor.

Aneisha H.

Yelp
The customer service was top tier 5 star for sure although a couple of minor things could've been better. Tried the Plant fil a and BBQ Facón Single Burgers alongside the sweet potato fries and shoestring fries with a house sauce for each Can't remember what the white sauce was but it was much better than the other sauce The plant fil a burger was very oily and I soaked some of the oil up with a napkin. I really wanted to love the burgers but the oil flavor overpowered. The BBQ one wasn't up to the flavor quality of my expectations. The place is super cute and has a nice dine in environment that gives you a classic throwback dine in experience. The shake machine was also out of service which was a bomber and the fried mushrooms was out of stock. Street metered parking is all that's available but give this place a shot you could love it albeit it was a miss for me. The fries are worth me going back especially if I can at least give the shakes and mushroom a t try

Emily H.

Yelp
Super solid vegan burger spot. The atmosphere and style of the food is very reminiscent of a classic American diner. Not fast-food style burgers -- more along the lines of Ruby's. I got the "Nomoo Double," the "Animal Style Fries," and a pair of "Nono Cheezy Crunch's with Queso." The burger and fries were the best part of the meal. The tacos were decent, but pretty expensive for what you get ($13.95 with the queso dip). I don't regret trying them though! I think the queso was my favorite part. It has a tangy, slightly spicy taste to it. Definitely a good substitute for the real thing. I like what these guys are doing here. Would love to see some locations in OC open up one day.

Dan B.

Yelp
Hello, #1 I am not a vegan but try to go to places like this cuz of a specific health reason and I get my "jones" for a fast food burger but don't have to eat the bad parts of those. So, I used to really like this place. And I am writing this with a heavy heart cuz to be honest, I am just seriously disappointed. I don't go there often but had been there several times. I don't know when, but they changed their menu at some point, and I think this is when things went down. Now, I don't know if it was a bad night, but they were out of something I don't think they should have been out of. They changed a few items like the mushroom chicken strips (which were quite good) to fried cauliflower (which was soggy). The burger was gross and had such a terrible texture. And I tried the tacos which had lettuce that tasted like cardboard. It wasn't just disappointing, it was gross and I thought I might throw up after I made my wife leave. And if you know me, I don't leave food, even if it isn't great. I left over half the burger cuz I felt like I was getting ill. The shake was still pretty good, if we are gonna look on the bright side. I try and do vegan options on occasion for health reasons and this was one of those places that I still felt was better for me (my health specifically) than In N Out. But for how expensive this place is compared to The Counter or In N Out, I will never go back again, my health be damned. Cheers.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
Love love love the vegan shakes here! Made out of oat milk and delicious ... but for $10. Thank goodness the shakes are thick and creamy and ideal for two to share. Be sure to drink them in a timely manner! I also had the shoestring fries here with a couple of dipping sauces, chipotle mayo and garlic aioli. They charge extra if you opt for more than one sauce. It's a big helping of the sauce, too. I haven't tried the burgers, but I hear they're quite good. I'll have to come back for those. Stop by if you're walking the area - metered street parking is aplenty.

Iago A.

Yelp
The Blue Majik was such a good shake! Made with spirulina, it taste like heaven! The ambience is very chill, quiet and is a mood. The guys at the counter very helpful and king explaining the menu to us first timers! My friends really enjoyed their burgers.

Greisys A.

Yelp
I tried the Plant Fil A which was delicious, my wife tried the Nomoo double and she loved it, the staff were kind and answered all our allergy questions. They also gave us suggestions and popular items. It was a very chill trendy place they have indoor seating and sitting on the patio outside. We liked this place and have gone back twice now. Would recommend to anyone vegan.

Olena V.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place and even though it is a trendy spot to get vegan burgers, it is definitely not a FAST food restaurant. Pros: . Great location, fun atmosphere, a nice outside patio. . Solid food - nothing outstanding, but the fries were above average. Cons: . Had to wait 30+ minutes for our food to be served. I only saw one cook in the kitchen during the busy lunch rush. . Most of the fountain drinks were not available - pretty much the only drink options were a few kombucha bottles. . The only restroom was out of order and no hand sanitizer available.

Ty Q.

Yelp
It's been ten months since my post and I will not be returning. I've been to Doomies 3 times and Mr Charlie's 4 times since. Yes I am only one customer but I will forever recommend other businesses as a vegan now on my 11th year.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Order at the counter and food is brought to you. Staff provides good customer. Hamburger was salty & cheese not melted. Liked plastic. Fries were cold & taco was ok. Shake was delicious. Place is clean and again staff is friendly. Today must be off day for food because it was just ok. 5 star for customer service. 2 is for food

Trinity H.

Yelp
So, my oldest is a lover of vegan food. We looked online and ran across this place. The pictures and reviews were great. OMG...got there and yes just darling. Very retro and hip. The layout and overall design was resplendent! Just pure fun! Walked in and was greeted immediately by a gentleman named Shawn. Let me just say this man needs to be cloned. He has the best, infectious energy I have been around in a long time. People should learn from him. The owner should make him a partner or give him a franchise. He truly makes your experience special and fun! HUGE props to you Shawn! Never loose your shine!!! Impressed 1,000! Now to the food. Let's just say I pretty much ordered everything on the menu just about. The wings which are oyster mushrooms were BOMB! I pick the ranch sauce to pair it. Yum! Mind you I'm not vegan, but I do eat allot of vegan meals. I had the Nomoo Burger with cheese added grilled onions and my daughter had the BBQ Facon Burger. We also got Animal style fries, regular fries, Kola kola, and a vanilla shake with coconut whipped cream and sprinkles on top. We both were blown away on how creamy the cheese was. Flavor was there for sure. Fresh too! I gave it a 5 star because everything about it was POSITIVE...down to their signs. If your not vegan it's ok it will impress you for sure. Sure it's not Beef, but Beef isn't healthy to eat all the time anyways. Do yourself a favor and just try...even if it's to stop by and see how it looks! Pure feel good! I will be back soon!

Kelly W.

Yelp
The food is good, I liked the spicy chicken sandwich more than the burger. They taste like real meat which is perfect for someone who doesn't eat meat but occasionally craves fast food. The prices are just a little too high, so not exactly fast food prices.

Danaya R.

Yelp
It was my favorite spot in LA for vegan burgers but it's a shittiest place now. I've ordered specifically not spicy chicken burger and instead of that got the spicy one after waiting for 20 minutes. I'm not able to eat spicy food at all, so I came to ask to redo this one and they've told me that at this moment they don't have not spicy chicken patties and no one ever mentioned it to me when I ordered and they're suggested to make cheeseburger (it was cheaper than the one I originally ordered, but still). We waited another 20 minutes and I've got the WORST cheeseburger in my life. You charge almost $30 for drink, French fries and burger and it turns out to be the worst experience ever.

Fred T.

Yelp
Was in the Melrose are doing a photo shoot and saw Nomoo and decided to grab a snack. Went for the Hot Chick'N. Well prepared and very tasty. Ate at the nicely appointed counter. Place is very clean. Street parking is available but do not be surprised if you might have to park blocks away as this area is a Los Angeles destination. Staff was very courteous and sandwich was prepared promptly and with a smile.

Henri V.

Yelp
NoMoo is the new American burger restaurant that 100% plant based. Located on Melrose, the real estate space was formerly held by Johnny Rockets burgers. Limited Metered street parking and or the parking structure across the street above CVS drug store for a fee. NoMoo has indoor counter bar stool seating as well as outdoor patio seating beneath umbrella shade with cool music to enjoy your vegan meal and also people watch. The menu offers everything vegan; single or double beyond patty burgers with or without vegan cheese and all the fixings. Fries, salads, oyster fried to mimic fried chicken wings. Creamy shakes made from oat milk. And healthier non alcoholic drinks. Ordered the NoMoo double cheese wrapped in lettuce. The flavors were really good and the beyond patty can fool a burger aficionado, with a double with cashew cheese wrapped in butter lettuce, guiltless eating. Initially, I had no intention of ordering any sandwiches burger or chicken because I'm not a fan of faux meat. However, since the name of this restaurant is 'NoMoo' burgers made all vegan 100% plant based, No cows were harmed in making this burger, I had to try it and was glad I did. The side salad with miso was essentially romaine lettuce tossed in a light miso dressing was good but so light, made eating the French fries a necessity. The NoMoo wings are the friend oyster mushrooms served with dipping sauces was a nice attempt to mimic fried chicken wings but I didn't taste any similarity, however tasted quite delish and so much less saturated fat than wings. To conclude this vegan meal you must order a milk shake, I debated about which to get the Oreo or strawberry, I chose the later. Love milk shakes but hate all the high calories, but these milk shakes made with oatmilk tastes phenomenal and so yummy, you can't tell is almost guiltless because it's not sugar free. Ordered inside, paid with ApplePay, sat outside the clean neat happy colorful outdoor patio and was served attentively, promptly with a smile. Service by the staff was excellent, professional accommodating and friendly, especially by the current manager Jasmine. She was knowledgeable of the menu, very efficient, genuinely nice and made sure my order was satisfactory. I rarely visit the Melrose area, because of the negative press it's gotten recently but I visited post the lunch rush crowd during the week and had no issues. My dining experience was pleasant made much better with the exceptional service by the staff. If you're craving burger fries and a shake you have the power to chose healthier and yummy and be true to You and chose NoMoo. Worthy of your body's consumption, Recommend!

Yelp
They catered an event I was at so cant say anything about the price and store but I enjoyed my single burger. Couldnt tell it was vegan. Liked the sesame bun and the american cheese tasted exactly like regular cheese which is hard to copy. Also it was warm. Great option for a big event. It doesnt look like they are the regular menu but also had their chicken nuggets which were quite hard. Not even rubbery, but hard. Maybe they were experimenting but they were not it. Which is surprising because my friend said the chicken sandwich was good. Also great customer service they were all friendly and served close to 350 attendees. Will definitely check out their restaurant when Im in the area.

Yelp
The vegan burger here is pretty good! The buns are very soft. I'm not a big fan of very soft bun however I think some people might like it. The NOMOO Wings are my favorite. The fried part is like the crispy part from actual fried chicken, it tastes amazing. The staff is nice. Dining vibe is good that you can go and grab a quick bite.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!! I ended up getting the double cheeseburger and chicken sandwich with fries and a soda. So so good! The outdoor seating was cute they had 2pac playing in the background so I was all for it! The service there was great the server and person taking my order was so nice.

Yelp
Honestly love this place! Cute vibes and good plant based meals. Service can be slow at times if there is a rush and they are understaffed, which has happened a few times! I would try the cauliflower wings and nomoo double for sure!!

Yelp
SUMMARY: Good burger! Obviously, it is pricier because we're in Los Angeles and you're eating on Melrose, but I love this non-meat option. And maybe it's just me because I sometimes buy Impossible and Beyond Meat patties at Smart & Final, but yes, I could tell it was a different type of patty. BUT I will say that my brother (who is a meat lover) really enjoyed their burgers and did not know it was meatless until the end of his meal. PROS: Environmentally Friendly - By using your purchasing power here, you're supporting a business that is not adding to the greenhouse gas emissions associated with meat production (and the dairy industry). Burger Variety- I like simple burgers (see photo attached), but if you're looking for something with more texture or flavor they offer the BBQ Facon and the Hot Chick'N Burgers. This means you can come with a friend or two and all of you would have more than one option to choose from. Hot Location - The location is 1 mile from the Grove so if you're in the mood for a solid burger after shopping and exploring, this should be your choice! CONS: Salty Fries - The fries I got were oversalted, but the texture of the fries was perfect. I think I may have just been unlucky in this regard. Stressful Street - The location, although in a bustling part of the city, is very busy. You will likely have to circle around for a while to find free parking or just give in and pay for parking. Noisy Area- Also, the restaurant is located on a main street (MELROSE) so the cars and pedestrians feel like they're right next to you (if you choose to eat outside). Thank you Nomoo for providing an option of good, plant based food.

Yelp
A cute little place on Melrose. They have a cute outdoor seating area and a "bar like" area to eat inside. I ordered the single burger, fries and oyster mushroom wings. The wings are actually really good and the fries are alright, nothing special. The Nomoo sauce is actually good, reminds me of Italian dressing. The burger was good. Had the works and cost an extra dollar for cheese. I liked the burger but it doesn't compare to Monty's. Would come if I was in a rush to eat.

Yelp
I always have such high hopes for vegan places, especially ones in such a popular area. I got the single falcon and a soft serve doordashed. I paid a dollar for melted cheese as you can see, what I got is nothing like what was pictured. Onions are raw. There's some sort of a spice in it. Guess that's their special sauce..? Soft serve is OK. Would be good as a root beer float. Hopes deflated :(

Yelp
I would love to give a glowing review, but after a while of really wanting to try Nomoo, the food was a bit bland and overpriced for what it was. The hot chicken could use a bit more of a bit or at least a more dynamic sauce? Cute environment/ambiance though!

Yelp
Love love love nomoo! Even my husband, a die hard carnivore, can acknowledge the greatness that is nomoo. My go to order is the Hot Chick'n sandwich, and their fries are shoestring fries on par with McDonalds. Salty and delicious, and they come with your choice of dipping sauce. The truffle "cheeze" fries are not to be missed. If you can't decide between being healthy or not-so-healthy, they have a genius (dare I say never before seen) combo of "fries and greens." This means you get half a salad (a decent portion!) and half an order of fries in one cute little box. And you can choose between their miso Caesar and their Superfood Slaw. You won't believe their burgers and chick'n are vegan! So delicious, and they deliver lighting fast.

Yelp
Cute spot on melrose. Great seating area indoor and outdoor. Vegan burgers were ok. Truffle fries were so yum. The mushroom nuggets too oily and salty.

Yelp
Imagine ordering a $20 burger made with w/ "Poisonous Beyond Burger" poorly packaged, pouring out of the damn wrapper and then thrown into a plastic bag To Go. And then as a refund is being processed the employees commenting that they would "beat my ass" if they weren't behind the counter.... They are 100% wrong from the beginning, middle and end of that first and last visit. What a bullshit experience. Never again. If we are what we eat, then I highly do not recommend this place, shitty food= shitty attitude...

Yelp
This place used to have delicious, vegan burgers and food with delicious vegan fountain sodas. you no longer can purchase a delicious vegan fountain soda instead, they've replaced it with a beverage called liquid death that comes in a can. I say anything else.
