Walked in out of the blue to such a warm atmosphere!! So cute!!! Walked up to the bar where I was promptly served by the bartender there named shi! The food was amazing the coffee flavor selection was superb! And dang what a butt on that amazing bartender shianna! Will forsure be coming back

I can only speak for the to-go coffee experience, since that's all I got. The drip coffee was barely warm and the lid was loose, so the first sip resulted in coffee spill down the front of my shirt.

Absolutely loved this place!! The staff was amazing and so kind to us! We’re not from here and here on circumstances we wish we weren’t, but the staff was so kind to listen and talk with us and tell us about the city and more. Would 100% come back here again when I’m in Akron! Amazing people

Went to Nomz for a Saturday morning breakfast and 40 minutes later we still had not yet received our breakfast. When we approached staff we were told "it'll be 15 more minutes, I just clocked in." As cool as the environment is here, we will not be returning.

Just ok. Stopped by Nomz while staying at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Akron. Unfortunately, it was just okay. The space itself has a nice vibe, but the experience overall was disappointing. Service was lacking -- slow and not very attentive. I ordered a macchiato, which was listed as 12 oz on the menu, but what I got was a huge 16-20 oz cup filled mostly with milk. It completely missed the mark if you're looking for a traditional macchiato. For food, I tried the Citradog chicken sandwich. Loved the idea behind it -- the ingredients sounded great -- but the execution wasn't there. The chicken was dry and not seasoned well at all. Nomz felt more like a place of convenience than a destination. I wouldn't go back.

Love the concept, but the prices are bit high for what you get. I got the vegan chipotle sandwich. It was good but not very spicy for being a chipotle sandwich. It came on a hamburger bun with lettuce and pickles. The vegan chicken didn't have a chicken flavor. It appeared to be some type of wheat gluten. For $15 sandwich and adding a small bag of chips would have made it more reasonable. When I ordered my sandwich to go they charged me state taxes. Confused by the extra cost I asked the person taking my order about it but she had no clue and told me it was only a dollar. FYI you shouldn't be charged taxes on to go food. No purchase of beer or sodas so no tax. The place is in a smaller market warehouse setting with some other shops. Looks like they may host summer events.

One of the best sandwich places in Akron. I remember getting lunch here often when I worked downtown, and having their special Thanksgiving sandwich again after all these years was amazing. They're still up to the hype! Shop around the marketplace after a hearty meal and explore all the vendors inside! This Turkey Mostado has an amazing, crunchy buttery toast with mashed potato, cranberry sauce, turkey and arugula. Definitely a must try before it goes out of season!

Food was great but 47 minutes to receive it is unacceptable. We saw 4 other costumers complain about it, while we were there

This is not a place that I would recommend when in Akron. The service was lack luster. They were just going through the motion of doing their jobs. The food was not very good. The atmosphere and the shops were just ok. Not a memorable experience or one I like to repeat.

Bartender recommended smoking my old fashion! It was so fun!!! The kitchen was out of a few things and the chef came out and made us a veggie sandwich which was so good!!! We cannot wait to go back and have the broccoli sandwich and bean tacos! Fun environment and beautiful view!!!

update: I appreciated the appropriate good response from what appears to be the business owner or manager of this restaurant so I updated my rating. Way overpriced at this entire facility. Our chipotle chicken tacos were so dry and bland. There was very little in them. What appeared to be in them was some chicken cheese sprinkle, raw onion, and a dash of cilantro, not even enough to really add any flavor. They were supposed to come with a sauce, but that didn't happen. They were so dry and unenjoyable. We arrived at the facility at 8:40 PM. We had no idea that they close at 9 PM. When we ordered, they asked us would we like it for there or to go? We decided to eat there and have it fresh and warm they indicated that they were closing at nine we would've gotten it to go. The cashier person for the entire facility which I believe is not related to this restaurant. Resturant came over to tell us that they were closing when we were looking around at some of the items for sale. When our food came out, I apologized and said sorry we would've gotten this to go had we realized you were closing at 9 PM. She then said oh would you like me to take it away and put it into go packages, absolutely not. I already paid to sit here and eat it and you've already brought it out. Why would I do that? We should've been told that the place was closing at the time we ordered.

Great gluten free egg sandwich. They had a lot of people there on Sunday afternoon. It's in a shared food spot.

45 minutes and still waiting and they're not even busy. Staff pretty clueless and unhelpful. Menu says gluten free bread available, but they don't have any. If you're thinking of eating here, don't Food finally arrives and it's cold

Across the street is a parking lot which was packed when we arrived around 5pm, however we managed to snag a spot. The space is like a cafeteria with the bar having separate seating. My boyfriend and I both got the black bean tacos, which he liked and I didn't. I'm not a fan of flour tortillas for tacos, there wasn't a lot of flavor, and they were cold. I feel like the menu leans more towards the natural raw vegan taste, which just isn't for me when it comes to tacos. We didn't wait long for our order and the women working there were very nice.

Wow! The options of food they had for us were amazing! We got two sandwiches and a salad and then their croissant sticks. They had it ready and made fast and have really big portions! This is a great place to come for a healthy meal and that will fill you up. Oh and they have tons of seating and a full bar!

Took my granddaughter for lunch. The service was extremely slow though there were only 4 people there. Our lunches were served about 8 minutes apart instead of together. The food was lukewarm and lacked any flavor. The price was totally unreasonable. Will not be back.

Charging .75cents extra tomato's .50 cent for onions and then don't put any one is crazy af!!! That avocado toast is delicious if they lay off the everything bagel seasoning omg! Pretty expensive for sandwiches served without sides and adding toppings they clearly charged you for but won't get!! Akron gotta do better these so called restaurants trash but want tips for carry out and gratuity for so many sandwiches door dashed smh

Came here on a night out with the girlfriend on my vacation to the Cleveland area. I was highly referred to check this place out. My only issue here was that parking was a bit of a hassle, especially since the rest of the strip is busy. We both placed our order and we knew it was going to be a while, so we had a great opportunity to explore the gift store within the place which was freaking outstanding. A great way to kill plenty of time and feel like a tourist in the area. Food was outstanding! Staff was friendly and courteous! I'd love to come back here when more of this place opens up because this place is a hidden gem of Akron!

First time dining here. Ordered a gluten free sandwich, and my partner ordered two tacos. Twenty minutes after ordering, a cook came out to let us know that he could not find the correct protein for the tacos. They offered to make a different one, and we agreed, we're flexible. Food comes out, it's delicious. Cocktails are excellent. I'm taking the last bite of my sandwich when the cashier comes up to me frantically and lets me know that there are new cooks in the kitchen and they missed the gluten free modifier on the ticket. She was very apologetic, gave us a refund, and asked if I needed medical attention. I promptly sped off to the bathroom to attempt to exorcize the allergens from my system. Not a great first experience. I appreciated the customer service after the fact, but I will not be returning. Would not recommend for those with serious dietary restrictions or allergies.

While I hate to diss a place with vegan options, my sandwich was $19 (I added the *bacon which was a pro tip - here's an even pro-er tip, the vegan bacon tasted like burnt matter) and zero sides. Wow - isn't this Akron? The same sandwich in NYC or LA would be more delicious and include some sides (and prob $15 or less). It was "good" for an $8 sandwich, but nothing memorable. Won't be back.

The menu is great. Not everything was available due to delivery schedule-Ok with me. My sandwich -grilled cheese-was delicious. Came un-cut-eh not a big deal it was too far to walk back and request cutting (we sat outside-where tables were dirty next to the table with the cleaning supplies someone left outside). Soup was not great. I would Expect that anything I get in a boutiquey restaurant will knock my socks off. My chicken tortilla soup I make from leftovers is way better. Would not order again. Just not sure worth the price to eat here again.

Great lunch spot located inside of Northside Market! We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday and although there weren't too many people sitting down, there were guests who came into and out of the market. It was a busy place! I ordered the Turkey Mustrado and an iced Cereal Milk Latte and it was such a wonderful decision! The sandwich was so crunchy and the ingredients paired so well together. The Brie and cranberry were a perfect pair and Hartville potato chips added a nice salty flavor to the main focus. The iced Cereal Milk Latte was what really caught my eye on the menu. The milk is made from soaked Fruit Loops, which I thought was so neat and different. The Fruit Loops flavor is light and subtle, but it was present! I loved the 2 items I've tried and I can't wait to go back to Nomz!

Really excited about this. But really understaffed. Took over 45 mins for two sandwiches. And they weren't really busy. This could be an amazing spot for vegan options....but do better.

Well, if anyone ever asks me where to get the best nachos in Ohio, I now have an answer. So much freshness and quality. Authentic Mexican flavors with balance and perfect pinch of guilty pleasure. Loved them, can't wait to have them again. Very elevated and fun.

If you need something semi-quick and are close by it's okay but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. The girl that took our orders clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. They were out of so much stuff, none of us were able to order our first choice. Breakfast sandwich was greasy and the salad was dry.

An interesting development complex with a wide array of food and shop options. It's a smaller, communal food hall primarily catered towards University of Akron students (Go Zips!) who reside above. That features a smoothie bar, an alchoholic bar, a creamery/churro stand, then some jewelry kind of place. It is a really unique place to visit for an overnight trip. Due to Luigi's, which I hear constantly about and their "cheese salad," only accepting cash decided to go here since it's next door. I got the Ckikka chicken sandwich( a small breast fillet on a brioche bun toasted) which was kinda dry. The bun tasted exquisite. The lettuce was very crunchy. Sliced tomatoes were perfect, too. Should've explored a BLT or something like that. So made to order but still was ready in less than 10 minutes.

We had theater tickets at 1:30 and thought that 11:30 would be plenty of time to allow for lunch for a party of 5. Not so much. The restaurant was only half full, but a large table of about 12 or so people ordered just ahead of us. Apparently, they can only cook one meal at a time. We saw that earlier table get served one meal at a time every 5 to 10 minutes. We ordered at 11:40, and then at 1:00, we had to give up and leave without our food. They were still bringing meals out to the first table while the first served had long since finished their meal. At least they refunded what we paid without any arguments, but I had the impression the staff was used to customers walking out. This is not the fault of the very few people on staff but the management and organization of the restaurant. If you can only cook one meal in 5 to 10 minutes, I don't know how you can handle any lunch rush. The menu looked great, and the vegetarians in our party had been looking forward to all the choices. Extremely disappointed. It might be OK if the place is empty, but we won't be back to find out.

Honestly, not a fan, but I might've caught them on a bad night. I had the Turkey Mostarda and I don't know if I just picked a sandwich I wasn't a fan of, but it made me very nauseous and sick. The staff here were very nice, but extremely overwhelmed with a private event. I was told to place my order and shop around then return for my meal. So I did as I was told only to return and find out that my sandwich wasn't done or was lost in the mix or the chaos. I feel as if this could have been organized better, but the staff member I worked with was very apologetic and helped me get my sandwich. Not sure if I will be back, but definitely think they should figure out how to balance the food service with a large party.

I really like this little spot located in the Northside Market! If you've never been, this market has a great central area to enjoy food, relax, study, or even play games with friends. And surrounding the dining area are a couple different shops and spots to eat and drink. I really love the variety that Nomz offers. Great options for vegans and vegetarians as well. I haven't absolutely loved everything I've gotten here but I appreciate the uniqueness of each dish and the quality of their ingredients. Today, I tried their seasonal pancakes with banana and chocolate chip. It was absolutely delicious so Nomz gets 5 stars in my book. They also have a bar area with coffees, iced beverages, and more. Definitely check it out!

Nomz is a hidden gem. Close to the towpath trail and like coming here after morning runs to get the farmer's breakfast. Best coffee in town which keeps bringing me back.

I would like to start off by saying I love the location of this place. It has plenty of space for sitting and a couple of shops to walked around in while you wait for the food. The staff was also really friendly. The food on the other hand, was not that good. The regular food might be good, but the vegetarian and vegan options were so bland. They definitely need to had more flavor. I ended up getting the Vegan Chipotle Chicken. It mainly lacked flavor, but they were also stingy with the sauce. I also got the queso and salsas. The tortilla chips were average, the salsa was pretty good (wish it was a little spicier), and the queso was below average. It was cold with no taste. Overall, if you are a vegan or vegetarian, I would not recommend this location. However, if you aren't, I have heard a lot of good things!!

Beer + cocktails = fantastic Quality of the ingredients = above par Portions = generous Instagram page/profile = will always make you want to come in and eat or drink what they're serving up. Cool spot! Not your normal restaurant. It has more of a Reading Terminal Market feel where there's more than one restaurant in a shopping center. You can go just for Nomz or to try out another place in the market. There's also some clothing stores and shopping you can check out.

Delicious vegan food! Need I say more? They have so many options for vegans. I've only been there once so far but I will definitely be going back. Must try all the vegan options.

I always love the location I attended the hop holiday event the people who work here are always helpful and willing to assist and make your food with the upmost care! Their salads are what I crave the most especially the Mediterranean mmmm with the lemon wedge and dressing just the right tartness I want some right now haha! As I said in the hop review they also sell kombucha which is super tasty and tart and just so bubbly ! Can't wait to visit again thanks for always having great service and offering that military discount!

NOMZ..... if you're going to go, make sure Shelby serves you!! She makes the best Bloody Mary. I asked her for a spicy one, and asked her to add horseradish. It was delicious!! I never drink more than one drink, but I ordered a second! Give this blue-haired wonder a raise!!

i really had no idea what to expect from a broccoli sandwich, but i figured i'd give it a try, and oh my god it was so good. i loved this sandwich so much.

This place is tucked in an alcove or its building. Come inside first I got the bbq sandwich with jackfruit. It was exceptional. All the ingredients were fresh and the sandwich had great flavor. It comes with a little bag of chips and the have drinks to buy Don't expect a high end experience. It's a tiny place with shared public seating. The five stars don't mean high end. It means high flavor. I loved it and will likely come back during my visit

We have been here twice over the past two years and every time it is perfect! The food is fast, and yummy! Loved the seasonal cocktails! Fun little stores located in the same building which makes it perfect for shopping and eating all in one!

Wow! What a gem. Great service and atmosphere, not to mention amazing food. You order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. The menu is bigger than I expected. They have breakfast and a nice selection of vegan dishes. My daughter and I got the first two chicken sandwiches on the menu and split them. The first one had Muenster cheese and was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The other one had balsamic on it and it was also amazing. If I could, I'd come here once a week and try something new each time. So, so good.

An excellent place to pop in for lunch! Due to supply shortages, they were out of some key ingredients which limited their menu options, but the food we chose was excellent! The Tuscan Chicken sandwich and Vegan Pesto Chicken sandwich kept us full all day long. The pasta salad and potato salad were a bit bland, but overall, it was an excellent dining experience! Plus, the coffee and smoothie bar produced a delicious Green Goddess smoothie and a cappuccino with soy milk and lavender flavoring. When you're all done, there are a lot of local goodies to peruse on your way out!

This used to be one of my favorite places in Akron where I could grab a great Vegan sandwich and have a nice cocktail! Unfortunately this morning I was disappointed! Place was empty at 10:30am which I thought was a little odd but it is a work day so no biggie! Ordered a Mimosa and my normal favorite, The Vegan Brioche with breakfast potatoes. The sandwich was skimpy and thrown together and the breakfast potatoes were cold and not fully cooked! Hopefully they were just having a bad day but I can say that since the new owners took over Nomz has not been the same :(

At first a bit confused with the open market style where to order etc but wow the food and service was amazing. I had the croissant with egg and vegan bacon and might be the best breakfast Sammy ever and coffee from local Akron Coffee Roasters was delish. The only downside was price. Very expensive at almost $50 for two sandwiches and 2 coffees but the end product was amazing. Cheers

Shi was the most amazing bartender and made killer drinks. I had the spiked strawberry peach smoothie with the double Tito's shot and zomg! Five stars! Also, the smoked Old Fashioned was bonkers. You get to pick what kind of wood you'd like it smoked with. Hubby had the Cucumber Mint Lemonade and it was amazing! We are only in town for the night, but when we come back we will definitely stop back in for a broccoli taco and some amazing cocktails. Shi took her time to make both the drinks and the experience outstanding.

The food was good, except my sandwich had a heaping amount of rotten slimy arugula on it. Pretty disgusting & obviously should have been pitched. The cooks were so nice, delivering our food with a smile. The girl behind the bar was rude, uninterested and seemed bothered by waiting on us. I was so hopeful this would be a go to spot for us, but might never go back.

Totally over priced. Ordered a sandwich that I thought was something new and massive, got a sandwich that I am sure I could have made at home in 5 min and for less than $5. Instead I paid $20+ for a vegan blt that looked nothing like what I ordered and a cucumber salad that was the size of cat dish. Had high hopes, but ultimately not shocked.

Got the Turkey Avocado Black Bean Sandwich with a Rocky Mountain Orange and Cream soda. It was seriously good.

Nice concept, but really rough service and the quality of the coffee and smoothie drinks were worthy of a bad turnpike Reststop. Ended getting a refund because they couldn't even fulfill part of order. One server was nice, the other needs to go and clean toilets at a rest stop, which is her max level of her ability.
