Where to Drink Guinness in Central Florida This Holiday Season | Eater

"The heartbeat of booming Lake Nona is its namesake Village Place, where you’ll find scores of Central Florida newcomers feasting at its bevy of restaurants. The energy goes up a notch inside Nona Blue, which is always a scene. You’ll find yourself rubbing elbows with everyone from tennis pros to movie animators. And while it may seem like everyone here has an entirely different story, nothing bonds you together quite like enjoying a pint of Guinness." - Matthew Meltzer

We had a wonderful evening at Nona Blue Modern Tavern. The P.E.I. mussels arrived steaming in a delicious, well-seasoned broth — each one tender and briny in the best way. The fried calamari was golden and crisp, not greasy, and came with a bright dipping sauce that complemented it perfectly. The All American Burger was thick, juicy, and cooked exactly as requested, with fresh toppings and a sturdy bun. Service was attentive and the restaurant has a relaxed, modern vibe — ideal for a casual date night or family dinner. We didn’t catch our server’s name, but she was excellent and extremely helpful. Highly recommended for seafood and burger lovers alike.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We stumbled upon Nona Blue Modern Tavern for the first time while at the Orlando airport — we were hungry and found it on OpenTable. The airport was hectic, so I called to move our reservation, and the girl on the phone was an absolute doll! She was so understanding and mentioned she picks her brother up from the airport all the time — such a sweet and personal touch. When we arrived, she seated us in an amazing booth. My husband and I had the best time. The restaurant is beautiful, with a relaxed atmosphere that’s hard to find in an airport setting. Every staff member we encountered was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. The food was excellent, the cocktails were creative and fun, and we loved the iPad menus — such a cool modern touch. We’ll definitely be back to try their brunch next time we’re in town. Thank you, Nona Blue, for such a great experience — go, you won’t be disappointed!

Ambiance is always top notch but we haven't been here in a while and things have been upgraded!! The menus are now on IPads!! There are new dishes on the menu and they kept their famous meatballs and mama's meatloaf. They even made meatloaf sliders and those were delicious! Our service was patient and kind as we had a party of six and we were all not there at the same time, we were one of the last diners on a Tuesday night and they still waited on us with a smile and didn't make us feel rushed. Everything we had was delicious!

We had a great lunch today at Nona Blue — it’s been a while since our last visit! We always enjoy the great food and drinks here. This time, we ordered the shareable shrimp meatballs, meatloaf sliders, and chicken wings. The wings were a little lackluster, but still tasty overall. The drinks, as always, were on point. I had a Jack and Coke (added an extra shot for just $3), and my husband went with the classic margarita — consistently good every time. The weather was absolutely beautiful, so we sat out on the patio and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at one of our favorite spots.

Staff is professional, restaurant is clean and we will be back! My wife and I did our mini gender reveal there. Ice cream was a boy and cheesecake was a girl. Our waiter knew first what it was! To add, they took care of our dessert and gave us an awesome card! Thank you so much for an excellent experience

Wonderful place to celebrate the birthday lady! Our server, Gary i think, was so friendly and attentive to the tables' different allergies, requests, and food orders. I loved the mac n cheese and Tenders Platter!! The only complaint is on the coleslaw, but that's only because I am used to a more traditional coleslaw. Nona Blue gave generously in service, time and a slice of Cheesecake and a Birthday Card signed by staff. Make your reservations in advance and enjoy whatever you're celebrating 🍾 at Nona Blue!

Had a nice evening at Nona Blue in Orlando. The service was excellent—very friendly and attentive, which made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere was also a standout: warm, lively, and great for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner. The food was decent—nothing mind-blowing, but it got the job done. A few dishes had good flavor, while others were just okay. Still, everything was presented nicely and came out in good time. All in all, a solid spot with great service and a comfortable vibe. I’d come back, especially for the atmosphere and hospitality.

We went to Nona Blue to celebrate a friend’s birthday and everything was delicious! The coconut mojito was sinful, the calamari was cooked to perfection, the chicken tenders melted in your mouth, and the carrot cake? Thank goodness the birthday girl was in a sharing mood, because we were all ready to risk our friendship over that carrot cake! 😂

Yelp
The food was great. The service was excellent and the ambience was cozy. Loved it. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant. My mother was recently visiting and she said after eating a bite of the carrot cake just get me this next time as my meal. We have been three times since we moved here. Every time I get the same tavern salad because it's so damn good. Our friends love the french onion soup here. It's amazing, perfect bubbly crispy cheese covers the crock, the beef broth is deep and complex. Last trip everyone got the meatloaf which is a blend of five meats and topped with a bbq sauce served with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. This creamed corn is worth guarding be careful your dining companions will try to swipe bites of it. They also offer brunch and we really enjoyed brunch, yes I still got my salad. They also have a fun picture to color if you ask for it! Now, if you like key lime pie it's really good, but you have to get the carrot cake. If you don't get the carrot cake you didn't go to nona blue it's just that simple. The brownie sundae is also good. Frankly I haven't had anything bad here. The hostesses, waitresses, fellow patrons ( shout out to Douglas), and food are all terrific.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Nona Blue last week. It wasn't our first time. It's a casual restaurant with an elegant vibe--relaxed. We started with the spinach dip and chips, which came with sour cream and a slightly spicy salsa. The dip tasted very fresh and homemade. My boyfriend had the meatloaf plate, his usual favorite whenever he visits. The creamy corn was rich and well-seasoned, though the mashed potatoes were a bit heavy at least for me. (Because I am almost 60! lol ) I ordered the meatloaf sliders (available during happy hour), and we also tried the blue cheese coleslaw. I usually don't like blue cheese, but this one was mild and refreshing--surprisingly enjoyable for both of us. Our waitress was friendly, with a beautiful smile, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was easygoing and comfortable. The bar area has TVs if you want to watch sports while dining. But t we sat in a booth where it was quieter and more private. We really enjoyed our time there. It's so nice to have beautiful place like Nina Blue in near the community.

Yelp
Our first time here and now one of our new favorites. We enjoyed the french onion soup, fried grilled artichokes, pork rib chop, and a kid's pizza. The soup was tasty and enough to share between 2 people. There wasn't a lot of broth, but a lot of onions and bread. The artichoke was delicious. I love the added touch of seasoning and the aïoli dip. This menu item brought me into the restaurant. There aren't a lot of restaurants who serve grilled artichokes. When I find a restaurant who serves this, I go running to them. I ate this as my meal, however, this would be great to share with up to 4 people. My husband said the pork chop was delicious. He loved the add a touch of apple chutney on the side. He substituted the mashed potatoes for broccoli. The broccoli was sitting in an olive oil / garlic sauce. The kids pizza was very tasty. The kids meal includes a drink. We love the feeling inside the restaurant. It felt relaxing and cozy. Perfect for a night out. Their menu is on an iPad that they hand you inside of a paper menu. Each item on the digital menu had a picture. So cool!

Yelp
The outstanding meatloaf meal with Mac & cheese so good. I did a carry out and the service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
Nona Blue is one of those rare spots that never disappoints. We make the trip a couple of times a year, and it's always worth it. The mussels are incredible--easily one of our favorite dishes anywhere. That garlic sauce they're served in should be bottled and sold on the side--it's that good. Whether it's Mom's Meatloaf or one of their perfectly cooked steaks, every meal has been flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. Service is consistently professional yet relaxed, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. If you're looking for a go-to tavern-style experience with standout food and memorable flavors, Nona Blue is it.

Yelp
We came for lunch and I picked this place based on yelp pictures as the interior reminded me of Off the strip Las Vegas restaurants. From the outside it looks dead and closed but once inside it was actually very busy! We got seated in a boot which added to the Vegas vibes. It was similar minus the cigarette smoke :) service was friendly and quick. Portions were large. The shrimp and fire roasted corn soup was ok. The salmon dip was good and the salad was very good especially the chicken blackened. The check brought with a light under it was a nice last Las Vegas touch as this is mostly used in stripclubs and nightclubs:) I don't understand their sign about yelpers as our reviews about this place are good...

Yelp
This spot is a neighborhood favorite, so be prepared for a bit of a wait and limited parking. Reservations are definitely a good idea! I've heard they've been around for over 20 years, and with that kind of longevity and consistency, the hype started to make sense. I came in with medium expectations. The menu leans toward classic American fare, nothing groundbreaking. True to my expectations, the food was solid. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server -- a super friendly brunette wearing glasses -- was incredibly attentive and checked on us frequently. I ordered the All-American Burger medium well, but it came out well done. When she asked how everything was, and I gave honest feedback, she didn't hesitate to offer a remake. I appreciated that and asked for it to come back medium, and it did, right on point. My friends' entrees looked great, and no one had any complaints (unless they were too afraid to say so in front of such a nice server). Also worth noting: there's an automatic 20% gratuity added for parties of six or more.

Yelp
Love love love this place! Craft cocktails are amazing!! Service is always top notch! Inside ambiance is a bit heavy but still classy. Food is amazing!

Yelp
The best, MOST CONSISTENT place in Lake Nona. They have been here for over 20 years! There are so many incredible staples. The lemon chicken is amazing, but so is the Polynesian ribeye, and the lobster and the ribs! You can't forget to the get corn chowder and whenever they feature their potato soup. Their white sangria is my favorite drink! Service is always top notch and the ambiance is just right for date night or any celebration. You can't go wrong at Nona Blue. I can rave all day. They even have brunch!

Yelp
From the moment we arrived at Nona Blue Modern Tavern we noticed and felt that welcoming neighbor vibe, with an enthusiastic greeting from the hosts the tone of our visit was set. The restaurant is spacious with booths, tables, high tops and an extensive bar. They also have an outdoor space and there is sufficient parking. Kayla, our server, was very personable and attentive throughout our visit. You could see this place is great for date nights, group gatherings or getting together to watch the game. And the food......the servings were not only shareable but also delicious. Cheers!

Yelp
Nona Blue has the feel of being a clubhouse restaurant at a golf resort with a huge bar in the center of the room. There is also an outdoor bar and more tables on the front patio. Inside is dark with wood accents banquet tables around the perimeter and tables and high tops. The food is consistently good and they often have some great specials on offer. This is a great place to get a steak or more pub style food and they have some great salads as well. Also they usually have baked potatoes in the evening and you can swap some of the sides such as fries for a potato instead. I love the blackened mahi sandwich and both the all American burger and the Nona blue burger and I usually swap in the potato . The meatloaf is also a winner. If you're in the mood for prime rib this is the place. Service is usually very good also and the wait staff are friendly. There is a very good wine selection by the glass, several beers on tap and an extensive cocktail menu. They have a rewards system, but it is not generous and takes a long time to earn rewards, several years in our case. Unless you go regularly with big parties I would not bother to sign up.

Yelp
Ambiance Elevated Americana! Knowledgeable staff with good recommendations. Really important, the staff is very attentive to diet restrictions and advised us that the shrimp corn chowder uses clam juice and my family had an allergy to clams ! Ask for server Sam ( Samantha). Bob from the kitchen came to let us know about the chowder! Diet restrictions are important for our family dining out.

Yelp
Warm, welcoming service from Jasmin at the outside bar. When presented w my food craving options, Jasmin came in with the assist and the Fish & Chips it was! An abundant and thick portion with desired crispy breading, and tender inside. Looking forward to my next visit to sample other menu items... and excellent service.

Yelp
Great Burger and Thoughtful Service Nona Blue is a great tavern-style spot with a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere--exactly what you imagine when you think "classic tavern." We did a takeout order and were seriously impressed. We got the American hamburger, and it was grilled perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My son has a dairy allergy, and the woman who took our order was super attentive, making sure it was noted and communicated clearly. When we picked up the food, everything was labeled and separated properly to avoid cross-contamination, which gave us peace of mind. We waited at the bar while the food was being prepared, and even that brief time gave us a great feel for the place. Next time, we'll definitely be dining in. Highly recommend--especially if you're looking for a great burger and thoughtful service.

Yelp
What a great spot. It was a group of 5 of us and we all rated it a 10 out of 10. The food, atmosphere, service, and drinks were all great. Noah was our server and he did an amazing job. From explaining the menu, giving recommendations, and his personality was great. I highly recommend for date night, friends hang outs, great drinks, and great food.

Yelp
We've always enjoyed Nona Blue, but it's clear there have been some recent changes -- and we're genuinely impressed. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elevated: the energy, the service, and especially the food. The restaurant has always been good, but tonight it was exceptional. We started with perfectly chilled martinis that set the tone for the evening -- crisp, smooth, and expertly made. The French onion soup followed, and it was incredible: rich, deeply flavorful broth with just the right amount of caramelized onion and a golden, melted cheese crust that stretched with every spoonful. For our entrées, I ordered the blue-cheese-crusted filet, and my boyfriend had the New York strip. Both were flawless. My filet was tender, buttery, and perfectly seared -- the kind of steak that almost melts in your mouth -- and the blue cheese crust added the perfect tangy richness. His strip was juicy and full of flavor, cooked exactly to temperature and plated beautifully. The service tied it all together. Our server, Noah, was outstanding -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. Bob, the manager, and Chloe both stopped by to check on us and made us feel sincerely welcomed. That kind of thoughtful attention is rare, and it made a lasting impression.

Yelp
The restaurant is dark creating a romantic atmosphere. There are many families that choose this restaurant too. We came for lunch and saw many large groups with young children. The menu has something for everyone. It tasted good, especially the seasoned fries.

Yelp
Stopped at Nona Blue Modern Tavern on my drive home, drawn by decent reviews. Food was good, service needs work--3/5 stars. I sat at the bar, semi-busy with a nice vibe. Bartender Vanessa was pleasant, brought a chilled glass for my beer, but dropped a digital menu in front of me and walked off. First time here, no guidance. I figured it out, ordered, fine. Then, another guy sits two stools away. Vanessa's back fast, hands him a menu, and gives a full rundown--specials, layout, everything--despite him saying he's been here before. There was no sudden rush, so there should be no excuse for the difference in the treatment I received. I felt slighted. My food even got delivered to him first. Am I invisible? Vanessa only checked in when my drink was low, while she hovered over the other guy once his date arrived. Bar wasn't slammed--why the disparity? Dressed sharp in slacks and a button-down, I'm left wondering if being the only non-Caucasian patron played a part. I hate assuming that, but it's hard not to. Paid and left, disappointed. Equal treatment would've made this a great night.

Yelp
We've been here a few times. I've gotten the burger, the fish and chips, the steak, and meatloaf. The food is decent but nothing revolutionary. I've actually sent back the steak once because it was over cooked. The service though, is always really good and the ambiance is cool. Its a bit of a shame because it's a cool place and I want the food to live up to the vibe, but it falls short.
google avatar

Bill D.

Yelp
Nona Blue has been our favorite place to go since they opened in 2013. The food has been consistent, the wait staff is great, and they have some of the best bartenders around! They also have a great brunch on Sundays.
google avatar

Laurie G.

Yelp
Another great visit! Today I enjoyed the spinach dip and fish and chips. I chose the comfortable outdoor seating and Caitlin was again my server. She is amazing! friendly, efficient and has great insights into food and tastes. She said the fish was delicious and recommended the remoulade that comes with it. I'm not a tartare sauce fan, but the remoulade was indeed delicious. Also, if you like cucumber, you'll find the salsa that comes with the spinach dip and chips surprisingly refreshing and tasty. The fish was huge with a nice crunch to the batter without it being thick and the fish was nice and flaky. Chips (fries) were a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which is how I like them.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has some GOOD FOOD. You literally can't miss on anything you order. Whether you want a cozy dinner inside or enjoy the beautiful weather and a game on the patio, this place has it all. I always feel right at home and look forward to each visit!

Yelp
Absolutely I would return to Nona Blue. Beautiful strip mall area with ample parking. We arrived about 9pm on Friday night and there was still a half hour wait for a table. We luckily found three seats at the outdoor bar and sat there. Our bartenders were great and attentive. We ordered the Asian salad with steak tips (2) along with a taco with grilled chicken dish. Then mango salsa is amazing and such a great addition. The Asian salad had an amazing sweet Thai dressing and was delicious. Deserts are very limited and we decided to pass. Overall 10/10 and I'll be back when in the area.

Yelp
Nona Blue is a must! I had dinner there on a Tuesday evening , there were several other people dining but the place has plenty of seating options, so it wasn't overly crowded. But if you're going on a Friday or Saturday you should probably make reservations. I had the Baby Blue Cosmopolitan for my drink, my date had a glass of red wine (which was a smaller pour than he expected). We shared the smoked salmon dip, which was delicious. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese, which was very tasty but should've included a little more lobster. My date had the Nona Blue burger, medium well. For dessert, we shared the carrot cake, which was a huge portion but we finished every bite because it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it.
google avatar

Olivia D.

Yelp
Went for happy hour and had the Kettle Chips and a spicy margarita. Definitely ask them to keep the jalapeños in the margarita if you like it extra spicy. It was very busy on a Friday around 4/5pm. It's a great social vibe and they have a few happy hour deals.

Yelp
First time here, Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday and was impressed. We ordered the Italian meatballs as our starter which were packed with flavor and the pita bread was a nice touch. I ordered the San Francisco "Mission District" Style tacos with chicken. I really enjoyed the chicken and the mango pico de gallo, which also came with fries . Also ordered the Nona Blue Burger, ate everything in minutes. Our waiter was polite and attentive and we made it out with time to spare. The location has an outdoor patio and a large bar inside. Will be back again to try out some new dishes.

Yelp
We loved this place! Came here for lunch on Thursday with a colleague and we were seated at a high top immediately. Thankfully because I was close to getting hangry and didn't want to show my hangry personality to anyone, but my husband. The restaurant was absolutely packed. & even more, after we got seated, there were people constantly coming in to be seated too - so it was filled by the time we left. The restaurant itself was dimly lit, clean, and really well decorated. The vibe was really cool. I ordered a blackened mahi sandwich and it was absolutely fantastic. I sat there thinking, "there's no way that I'm going to finish this," and no joke - I finished it. Our server was great too! She gave us great recommendations on food on the menu and best time to come in the restaurant to ensure we were quickly seated. The other thing that I thought was really cool was when we got the check - it had a light on the back so you can see right through the check and be able to sign it, even in the dimly lit environment. We will be back!
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
The parking is plentiful and right in front of the restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation if planning to visit around happy hour or later because the wait can be from 30-45 minutes and the bar gets crowded quickly. Happy hour is until 6:30pm with some discounts like half price on some appetizers and few dollars off some drinks. The wine and beer selection are good! They serve a bit of a better quality wines here at a decent price during happy hour. The food is a bit higher quality than regular bar food but be aware of food allergies because they premade their food and can't adjust some dishes like their Mac and cheese with raw onions. I'm allergic to raw onions and I couldn't eat it. The blue burger was good, juicy and just a burger nothing more! The prices, in my opinion are a bit high for what they offer but the ambience is inviting.

Yelp
First time at Nona Blue in 6 years that we have lived here. The ambiance was great. Romantic and the customer service was impeccable. We ordered the grilled chicken and the ribs (since this dish had epic reviews. The garlic chicken was amazing. The ribs had a good flavor, but was over chared and burnt at the bottom. I only ate two bones at the restaurant, so I did not see that it was burnt till I heated it later. So depressing because the flavor was great, but not edible. Now the drinks and the dessert was amazing. Carrot cake walls warm and amazing. This was the Showstopper. I would give them another chance but not order the ribs. Definitely a great restaurant.

Yelp
Great caring service by Jovi. We liked also the vibe. Food is bland though. Run off the mill tacos and fish and chips. Not bad, good portions but meh... Although we had a good time with friends rather go to a place with better tasting food.

Yelp
I met a client here for lunch and all I can say is "awesome!" Server was quick and fun. Food was amazing. I wish I lived closer, I would be here all the time!

Yelp
I sat outside with some friends in the bar area to enjoy some drinks. We decided to try the fire-roasted artichoke based on the bartender's recommendation. I was initially hesitant, as artichoke isn't something I usually order, but the recommendation was well worth it. The flavor was excellent, and the sauce was equally delicious. The dish came as two artichokes cut in half, making it a perfect, shareable appetizer. I don't have a photo because I completely devoured it. The outdoor area was nice, though, like any outdoor space, it had a bit of noise. It's a good option if the wait for indoor seating is too long.

Yelp
I have been to this establishment two times, one time I went for brunch for a friends birthday. The food was amazing, the service was quick, and not too noisy, yet a very social atmosphere. I also went on a Wednesday night, had some wine and also had the burger, I sat at the bar and enjoyed myself the bartender, was very sweet and suggested a great wine selection. Great for solo dates, or group event.

Yelp
As usual Nona Blue's attentive staff catered to my every need with professionalism and speed. I stopped for a burger and Guinness but their Sunday Brunch menu caught my eye. OMG ! One of the tastiest Eggs Benedict I have ever had. The hash browns were outrageous too!

Yelp
A wonderful experience! Made an early reservation and the restaurant filled up quickly starting around 5:30ish. It kind of gives country club vibes, but with excellent food. The staff is wonderful and very attentive, and everything we ordered was delicious. We went specifically for the Lobster Mac N Cheese and it was perfection. The lobster was fresh and the pasta was perfect. The carrot cake was the next best thing- tasted as close to my grandmothers as I've ever had.

Yelp
Our Forever Favorite - Feels Like Home Every Time My longtime family friend Mark and I (Hilda Valentina) have been coming to Nona Blue about three times a week for YEARS--and it's hands down our favorite spot. This place isn't just a restaurant to us anymore; it's a warm, welcoming part of our weekly routine. We'd love to shout out some of the amazing staff who make every visit feel special: Steph Z, Tucker, Darcy, Barbie, Cainan, Anthony, Josh, and Tee. You all go above and beyond every time--we're always greeted with genuine smiles, fantastic service, and a vibe that makes us feel like we truly belong. The food is consistently amazing, the drinks are top-tier, and the atmosphere is just the right mix of relaxed and elevated. But what keeps us coming back again and again is the people. Thank you for making Nona Blue feel like home. We appreciate you all more than words can say!

Yelp
Great everything. Ambiance good, food was excellent. Our server was extremely friendly I think the price is reasonable for the quality

Yelp
Five Stars - Best Sushi in Lake Nona! This place is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for both families and friends. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and appreciated. The chef does an outstanding job, not only with the quality and flavor of the sushi--which is always fresh and delicious--but also by personally engaging with customers to make sure everyone is satisfied. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the service is top-notch. It's clear that customer happiness is a top priority here. I would recommend this place with my eyes closed--easily the best sushi experience in Lake Nona! Volcando roll is delicious my favorite, all rolls are always fresh.

Yelp
Had a fantastic meal at Nina Blue. It was packed on Thursday night butt we were able to get seats on the patio. They were very kind and turned on the warmer bc I was cold. The service from the bartender was friendly and great. They have a wonderful selection of menu items to choose from. Everything we had was delicious. We started with mussels, kettle chips with blue cheese and the calamari. All were well seasoned and delicious! My friend had the Greek salad with salmon and it was amazing. Good portion of fresh salmon and the dressing on the salad was awesome. I had the prime rib and my goodness it was beyond delicious!! So juicy and so tender and so flavorful... it was like a party in my mouth! This is perfect prime rib!! And they give you a huge piece. Absolutely loved it. Had the cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert and both were yummy as well. There's a large free parking lot. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend and will return.

Yelp
At first glance, the place has a great ambiance. It's clean and has good lighting. The staff was also friendly and very attentive. The bustling ambiance, although a bit noisy due to the packed space, conveyed a vibrant energy that comes with popularity. It's evident that this place has garnered a loyal following. While the noise level might not be ideal for close conversations, it added a lively and dynamic atmosphere. Now, onto the food--the spinach artichoke dip, while good, didn't quite reach the level of spectacular. However, the fried calamari and smoked salmon stole the show. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the smoked salmon had a rich, savory flavor that lingered on the palate. These dishes truly stood out, elevating the dining experience.

Yelp
Friendly staff, cold beer and a nice upscale environment - how can you go wrong? I came and sat at the bar and had a few beers and a great conversation with the bartenders. I ended up jot ordering may food but definitely will next time everything I saw pass by looked delicious.

Yelp
First time going here with a friend of mine and wow, this was quite an experience. The staff was very professional even though we were 20 minutes late. The place is very very nice, you can tell they make a lot of things in house and service was definitely top priority as we were asked every seven minutes if we were OK or if we needed something. Not just from our server, but from the general manager and a little bit of everyone else. I would return in a heartbeat. What sold it for me was the food, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast flatbread and both of the drinks! The flatbread was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were as well. My favorite was certainly the " my psychiatrist" drink. That was delicious and shared with my partner. The overall scene of the place was just clean and nice and filled with classy waiters and waitresses that were more than happy to assist in every way. I love it and the food. I'll be back

Yelp
My kiddo and my husband took me here for Mother's Day dinner. Truth be told I haven't been here in over 10 years, so it was time to pay them a visit again! When we arrived we were early for our reservation, so we headed to the bar to grab a drink. There was only one bartender and not super crowded (but I know looks can be deceiving). It took a few minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. I ordered our drinks, then my husband met me at the bar and waited for them, so I could check in for our reservation. The host showed us to our table and we were handed menus. It took about 10 minutes for anyone to come and take drink/app orders. Our server came by and took our additional drink orders and we ordered my kiddo's mac and cheese and their blue cheese chips as an app. My husband ordered a beer, which we had to remind our server a few times. Our app came out and it was huge. Literally tons of chips, which was a really generous portion for $12. My kiddos mac and cheese came out and we asked for ketchup a few times (he puts it on his mac and cheese), but didn't receive it. We finally asked a hostess for some ketchup and she got it for us. When it came time to our entree orders, I ordered the steak frites and my husband ordered the porkchop. Our items came out pretty quickly. The steak frites was perfectly cooked. It was tender and not chewy, which was great. The fries were hot and fried to perfection. My husband loved his porkchop, but mentioned the mashed potatoes were cold. All in all the food was good, we had a few hiccups regarding service and hot food. Would I come here again? Yes. I'm chalking it up to them having an off day.

Yelp
I've been hearing some pretty great things about Nona Blue from some pretty prominent people for quite some time, but just hadn't found the excuse to come and check it out. Well, one day recently, it placed on the list of best Lake Nona restaurants in the fine publication, Orlando Weekly, so that was enough for me, it was time to come and see what the fuss was all about. I came, I parked, I sat. The place is really beautiful. Low light, classy bar right in the middle, looks like you could expect to see The Sopranos sitting in the corner conducting business. We got a wonderful server with a really sparkling personality. I'm glad he was a really cool dude, because for reasons I won't get into now, we got challenged to have our server choose our meal for us. And this guy did us right. So we started off with the Blue Cheese Kettle Chips (Blue Cheese Béchamel / Chopped Bacon / Balsamic Glaze / Green Onions). Go look at this picture! This plate of nachos was constructed perfectly. Béchamel everywhere, bacon very well distributed, glaze over every corner, and enough green onion to give that pop of freshness you need in a heavy app like this. Just lovely. Then I got my entrée, the Baby Back Ribs, with a side of some cheesy broccoli. Man, I haven't had ribs like this in a long time. Falling off the bone, charred in just enough spots, enough sauce to let the meat still be the star of the show. I was very impressed. I would expect ribs like this from a high-end barbecue joint, not a place like this, so they really delivered here. I also got to try a special that was on their menu for a limited time, a red snapper on top of pearl couscous, with a side of their ridiculous mac 'n' cheese. The fish was cooked Perfectly. Very moist and flakey with juuust enough seasoning crusted on the outside. Very nice, herby couscous for a fun masago-like texture in your mouth with the bites of fish. It was just a really nice dish. Hope they have it when you go. So yea, that's it. The food was really top notch, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing and elegant. I recommend this place through and through.

Yelp
Nice ambience in this little tavern. I went to the prices are a little on the high side for what you were ordering, but I had good quantity as well as quality. The Club sandwich was extremely well constructed and delicious. A French onion soup was generous and had plenty of onions as well as cheese and broth. The dressing on the little Caesar salad Was super super yummy. I wasn't in love with the croutons, but the dressing and the lettuce were both very cold and the lettuce was crisp and not wet which I liked. The kids chicken tenders look like they were made in house rather than just pulled out of the freezer, which you might like that... Or some kids might want their freezer chicken lol. I would say the biggest disappointment was they don't do free bread. We had to buy three dollars bread which she said was a loaf of French bread. But it was more like a half a loaf of frozen bread and then it was toasted on the griddle... I wouldn't buy that again . Overall, I would certainly come here again. The ambience was very nice and it just had a great feeling to the place. Also, the bathrooms were impeccably clean.

Yelp
We had one person with a severe garlic allergy and another with a garlic sensitivity. Our server, Garrett, was amazing. He checked several times with the kitchen about items we wanted to order. He even brought over a manager, Bob, to discuss the garlic powder in their general seasoning. At one point he added up the amount of garlic in the food the garlic, my husband, the sensitive person, was ordering and suggested a change to no garlic in one of the dishes. We were really impressed with his care. We were told that the kitchen has a section of the grill dedicated to people with food allergies. The food itself was plentiful and very good. We started with the blue cheese chips as an appetizer. Two of our party had blue burgers and baked potatoes. They said they were great. My husband had a side salad with blue cheese dressing. The dressing had little chunks of garlic in it. Because of that he was steered away from the Polynesian marinated rib eye and had a plain Delmonico rib eye instead. It was sooo good. I had the lemon chicken. It was grilled with a thin flavorful lemon sauce. I added blue cheese cole slaw, which tasted very good. For dessert we had the Brownie sundae. It was served warm with a deep chocolatey brownie, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and nuts. It was a real hit. Garrett gave us careful attention, constantly checking back and refilling drinks as needed. It was a very pleasant meal. We'll be back when we return to Orlando.

Yelp
I love going to Nona Blue the service exceptional there hasn't been a time has been greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. One of the best thing I can say about Nonna Blue they always have a bone in steak that is done to perfection. Also there grilled artichokes are fantastic and get them every time.
