The Biggest Restaurant Openings to Know About in Boston, March 2025 | Eater Boston

"A takeout-only sandwich, soup, and salad shop from chef Jim Donovan, whose local accolades include introducing the chart-topping Buffalo wings to Buff’s Pub in Newton. There are no wings on the menu here, but there are ten different types of paninis that look like they mean business." - Erika Adams

Absolutely delicious! Located conveniently on Adams street with plenty of street parking. No seating, only counter service take out. Food is great, atmosphere is great and they have GF and Vegetarian options for those who prefer or need it. Definitely check them out!

Love this place! Been there three times this week. Jim is great and I can’t wait to try them all. Get The Fat Tony 1st and work your way down the menu. You won’t be disappointed.

Been there twice now. Chicken parm 👍🏽 onions and hots. Over the top. Second chef Jim made me an all pork cold cut sangie. The best.

The owner, Jimmy, made our delicious sandwiches. Jimmy and his friendly staff talk to us while we were waiting. Definitely worth checking out if you're hungry for a sandwich.

Since Russo's in Watertown closed, I've been looking for a new go-to Italian sub. Happy to say that Press Room's cold Italian sub is right up there with a simple combo of quality meat and seeded roll plus the option of hots. I really enjoyed it, and the bites of other's panini I shared were also very good. Takeout was ready quickly on a Friday evening. Great new addition!

Amazing Caprese panini! I’m not even a tomato person and this was great. The bread was so good too. Parking was a breeze (what can I say, I’m suburban, it matters!) and the customer service was great. They take Apple Pay which is nice too! Decor is super cute. You walk in and you know you’re gonna get FED! The smell was incredible. Daily specials to boot. Was doing a good business when I came in but service was still quick and my panini was so tasty! Will be back!

Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in the area. Service was great too, super friendly and extremely quick. Took about 5 minutes for me to order and then receive my sandwich. I will be back until I’ve tried every sandwich on this menu!

I had a Don Serloin sandwich 🥪 this evening(Friday) and it was absolutely amazing!!! I loved it and will definitely go back to try out the other different menu offerings. It is a hidden gem in Nonantum, Massachusetts. It's down the Lake!! 😉😁😆 The only bad thing was parking...it seems as though his neighbors in the same building 193 Adams Street and next door at 189 Adams Street want to own the street and leave their trash cans out on the street until almost 7:00 pm preventing anyone to park in front of or before the shop. Even though there is a sign stating "2 HR Parking 7am to 7pm EXCEPT SATURDAYS SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS" on a telephone pole in front of 189 Adams Street!! Also the old man living at 189 Adams Street was rude and obnoxious...he should be ashamed of himself!!! Next time I will call the police on him!!! But go and enjoy the sandwichs; it's worth putting up with his irrational/irritating neighbors!!

Yelp
Made fresh sandwiches hot pressed or not . The choice is yours. You cant be disappointed, all the sangie's are perfection. Big boss Jim is at his best in kitchen.
