My husband and I came through Manchester while on vacation. We wanted to get dim sum earlier in our trip while we were still in NY, but unfortunately, the place we tried to go to had a very long wait time. Since we were craving some good soup dumplings, when we drove past Nong’s Kitchen, I knew we should check it out. We were seated instantly and received great service throughout the night from very friendly staff. The steamed pork buns we ordered were delightfully fluffy and had very tasty bbq pork inside. The soup dumplings (xiao long bao) were warm and savory. The char siu filled rice rolls were sweet and savory. We also tried the Thai chive cakes, which we mistakenly thought were similar to scallion pancakes. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we found that they were crispy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside, chive-filled rice cakes. We also got a bowl of tonkotsu ramen to share, which included carrot, sweet corn, pork, and a soy egg. Truly a phenomenal experience and if we find ourselves in Manchester or the surrounding area again, we will definitely come back. 5 stars!!!
